And on a rare occasion, I agreed with Kelly being perplexed about how these grown women with children claim they don't know how to cook.  

And I noticed the way Braunwyn (or however the fuck it's spelled) bounced to call home right at the time dinner cleanup was starting.  

My DVR picked up an entire season of this (I think it was season 9) and recorded it.  Watching the interactions between Shannon and David back when they first joined the show is enlightening knowing how everything played out.

Oh, and if Kelly wants to call other people unintelligent or uncultured, she should probably learn how to use hand sanitizer. Here's a hint, Kelly: it doesn't involve staring quizzically at your hands for 15 seconds and then lightly swatting it, or whatever the hell it was you were trying to do. Thank you...I didn’t want to go here because I’m just tired of having to address this issue.  ‘Mexican’ is not a race, it’s a Nationality , neither is being ‘Latinex’ or ‘Jewish’ a race.  
It saddens me that Kelly is so ignorant.  It really offends me.  I came to the US as a child from Argentina.  I’m white/European, had my grandparents chosen to come through Ellis Island instead of Buenos Aires I’d be just another whiteAmerican.  In a room full of people, in a classroom, in a routine traffic stop I look like any aging-middle class white woman.  The idea that I would consider myself a minority/person of color feels so disrespectful to those who experience racism every day.

I know Brauwyn is going through rough stuff right now. I don’t like her and I don’t believe about 95% of her shit, but getting sober has to be tough, even on terrible people. However...Brauwyn is an incompetent human in a way that baffles me. I mean that in a pretty literal way, she cannot do pretty basic human stuff. Like if I was her Being a Human supervisor and she was up for review, I don’t think I’d recommend the annual step increase in her salary. She can’t do laundry, cook, wait for someone to answer the phone, deal with people in a kitchen(I still don’t know why she was upset her family was in the kitchen too much), work a vacuum. The list goes on. We’re the same age and I grew up reasonably privileged and sheltered and these were all things I mastered by the time I was 10. I really can’t wrap my head around what Brauwyn has even been doing for the past 43 years. How does one manage to be alive that long and not learn to do anything for yourself? If I didn’t hate her so much I’d want to have a long talk with her to figure it out.

An especially good question, given the stories she tells of her childhood with mommie dearest leaving her with "friends" or to fend for herself.

Am I the only one who thinks Braunwyn stayed at a different hotel so that she could drink without any eyes on her (inclusive of Sean)?

I think inside the luggage she brought over were empty bottles of liquor she squirreled away in the kitchen. Good place to get rid of any evidence and also a good place to stay while she replenishes her liquor supply.

It didn't make sense that she would stay elsewhere, when the whole idea was "group trip". The usual thing is done where a large house is rented. Plenty of room. If she was afraid of them drinking she could have gone to her room early.

If she was afraid of the temptation prior to the trip she could have stayed home like Emily and Shannon did.

I sure as hell didn't believe her when she started yawning while on the phone with Sean back at the hotel. Bish what the hell did you do that you're so exhausted and need to turn in early?

She wanted Sean off the phone, the camera crew gone so she could get her drink on and pick up some random and make more bad choices.

Newport Bay is a fairly old neighborhood.  There is still a sprinkling of those original size homes that get overshadowed by the newer McMansions that occupy two lots.  The part of John's house we saw first is considered the rear.  It's probably the view from the alley they come through in order to access their parking spaces.  The side of the house that faces Newport Bay is considered the front of the house and looks much more modern.  Someone had a very nice remodel done to that old house.

Those docks are privately owned by the houses.  They add substantial value to any real estate in Newport Bay that they are attached to.  That house is likely worth no less than $3 million depending on its square footage and interior features, and quite possibly as much as $10 million if that dock belongs to his house.  The supply of waterfront properties on Newport Bay is finite and the prices reflect that.

ohhhhhh I get it now.  My mom is in south florida in a condo, she's in a fancy ass neighborhood, so John's house would be similar to what is on A1A in florida.  House on the ocean then across the street, on the intercostal is a "small" house where they dock their boats and have parties.  lol  Some of these "small" dock houses have a built in pool too.  🙂

100% agree with the poster who said the issue here is that the women aren’t friends and have no chemistry. Possible exception: Emily and Gina do seem like legitimate pals, which may be why I find their scenes together more enjoyable than the rest of the show.

THIS.  It is all so fake, they all are living in rented houses to make them look richer than they are - they are all shilling third rate products or talking about their issues.  It is fake, it is inauthentic and it is boring.  I watch this show for the house porn, travel porn and the Richie rich stuff.  I think that is why I am finding them boring.  None of them live a life I want to live.

I think they met in college but she dropped out when they got married. Maybe Sean was older and they got married right after he graduated and then she quit school because school is too much like work and she had already stated she never wanted to work?
