I am really tired of all the friends and family already. We have had too many shows with them sucking up time. So, tonight won't be my favorite, unless they show whatever drama they are going to show and then they have to pretend that everything is fine.

It seems like MTS has a soft spot for lonely older women and they latch on to him. This will be a problem for anyone that he dates.

In the listing for the Afterparty tonight, it mentions that Steve tells Noi that he loves her for the first time. I guess he forgave her for going all SM on him.

Last I heard, Ryan was dating Mindy. Not sure why Bao was with Ryan's sister.

Christina was a pill but Mindy seemed like a nice woman. She was like a female version of this season's Chris but her husband was too savvy to be mean like ACE.

On one of the follow up shows they said that Bao, Ryan and Zach became friends and hung out weekly.  At the time I wondered if they really had stuff in common of if were bonding in response to Rachel, Myrla, and Johnny (and to a lesser extent Brett) becoming a friend group.

Sam from S3 just gave birth to twin girls on 3/3 - names are Sienna Reiko and Everly Lara.

Cortney from S1 also had a baby boy named Dale in mid-October (not sure if anyone posted that already, forgive me if so).

Jaclyn from S6 is expecting a baby girl in June.

I also would not have recognized her at all and she does look different. Maybe just older. BUT, WTH is up with her husband's suit? It was way too small all over and looks awful. I know that all eyes are supposed to been the bride, but, seriously? That was what he picked to wear for his wedding?

Now that we don't have Couples Cam (any more? ever again?) I do miss getting an occasional update on the couples who had still been together as of the last Couples Cam - I forget when that was. I don't think it would be necessary to have it weekly as an adjunct to the current MAFS season, but I would like to see something about past couples. Maybe a 90 minute special mid-season? end of season? in concert with a reunion/where are they now/kind of thing. The only things I don't EVER want to see again are JOits and anything that gives Alyssa even an iota of camera time to spew more of her self-serving venom.

Alyssa has served one good purpose, however. Whenever I wonder if I am as good a person as I think I am, I dredge up memories of Alyssa and am comforted by the knowledge that regardless of my faults, I am no Alyssa.

I was thinking the same thing and almost posted it myself.  I find it a little strange that they would just drop it like a hot potato and not even have periodic specials.  Maybe they thought the budget was better spent on the new host and guests on "Afterparty", but they could have saved their money because I think it sucks now.  Keisha is fine but those other guests haven't been worth it, IMHO.  We were better off with just the cast and experts.

Those shrunken suits are the thing now with the young crowd.  Remember Chris from the Atlanta season?  He wore it, but at least it looked a little better on him.  This guy is not wearing it well at all.

I think it's just a pendulum swing as most fashion comes back again.  The Beatles wore the skinny suits. It was in for a while in the 60s too.  Of course they're taking it to new ridiculous heights now.  The younger generation wants to either shock their parents or set themselves apart from them.  What else is new?  🙄😉

I've done some looking into Mother Teresa, and I'm not sure there's much space between her and Alyssa.

Of course not but they were still skinny suits.  That's why I said they're taking them to new ridiculous heights these days.  Although James Brown wore a lot of very shrunken suits back then and yet they still fit him better than this guy's suit!

On one of the aftershows, Lindsey said Mark claims to be fluent in Italian even though he told her he only took it in high school and doesn't remember it.  Keisha said something like "Mark says he's fluent in Italian?" and Lindsey said, "Look at his Linked In profile."

So I did, and under "languages," he has "Italian."  I'm not familiar with the standards on fluency on Linked In, but I would think it would be more than taking classes in high school and forgetting what you learned.   

Anyway, in one of the episode threads, I surmised that he worked at Planet Fitness, because that's where he and Lindsey worked out.  According to his Linked In page, he didn't; he was working at some other club, but there's somebody associated with PF among his friends or whatever it is on Linked In, so I'm thinking this other person is the one who arranged for them to work out there for the cameras. 

He lists his occupation as "entrepreneur," and apparently he didn't go back to the health club he was working at that told him to come back after the show finished filming, because his current job is at Chick-Fil-A.  I'm not sure in what capacity, but he has on a name tag in the photo.
