I thought her power only saved someone from being the re-nominee, not that it would take them from the block.

Will someone help me understand Xmas’ power?   If Xmas wins veto, she can remove someone and is safe from nomination and then her power is useless or can she still block the next nominee?  Does she specifically have to put a name to the person that can’t be nominated?  
 

It sounds to me that with recent events Ian and Day can’t/won’t be nominated.  Who does that leave to  ‘safely’ put up?  Does Xmas name Enzo as her protected one?  Sounds like the HG left from original Noms goes home.

Her power allows her to block herself from being the renominee or, if she wins POV, then it allows her to protect someone else, as well (as she would already be protected by winning POV). So if she wins POV, she could both A. remove Tyler, B. protect herself (just from the natural effect of winning POV) and C. protect someone else. 

I don't know what the point of that would be, though. If she wins POV, she should just leave the noms or remove Tyler. Protecting someone else this week would be pretty pointless.

I guess I was thinking that within the time the veto is won and the ceremony that it would be fairly clear who the re-nom would be.  Depending on who it was by protecting that person Xmas might get more bang for her buck but probably not.

I didn't even bother to watch last night but now I'm kinda sad I missed the brief entertainment of David lol.

Prayer circle for Kevin to win veto so Dani will have to nominate someone else. Plus she'll have to decide whether to make herself look bad and nom Ian/Day or nom another member of her alliance. And then I hope Christmas uses her power on Tyler. Ultimate chaos!

So apparently Dani has said she'll nom Xmas if the veto is used so yea, I'm definitely gonna need Kevin to win veto and then for Xmas' power to be allowed to be used after the renom so she can then use it on herself and Dani will have to nominate a 5th person. ULTIMATE CHAOS!

I need a fast forward power. I'm realizing that it's actually painful for me to watch the white cool kids run this game. I was upset before but now it just hurts outright. I don't like watching David, Day and Kevin get played - and Ian too (still hoping he is aware that he's in a fake alliance). There's no where to go from here. Kevin goes this week. David for sure next week. Ian and Davonne... I'm hoping it will be easier for me to watch when they are in they are all safely in the jury house and out of that toxic environment. I actually want Kevin to go this week...just get it over with.

I’m afraid Day wouldn’t use the veto because she thinks Dani is on her side and wouldn’t want to make Dani’s HOH harder. Also it would provide a convenient excuse for Dani to target Day later.

Day is wrong to trust Dani but Tyler is the real secret target now against Kevin.  Cody just talked Enzo into NOT using the veto on Tyler and was convincing him that's it's not a good idea to go against Dani - they need to let Tyler go. Of course by the same logic, he said it would be okay to send Kevin if Christmas was the replacement nom. Not sure if Enzo sees what Cody is doing or not.

I’m not pulling a Charlie Brown and believing any of this but if Dani manages to do Dani things and gets rid of Tyler? A week after he tried to pull a BLM sympathy card in order to quit and go home to Angela? And instead gets sent to the jury house? Y’all. That might just save some of the season.

I don't think Day trusts Dani. She told Enzo Wednesday she would put Dani up. I think Dani wants Day as her parachute. I think Day is just blinded by the fact she knows Dani wants Tyler out.
