If you've never eaten them before I'd actually not recommend cooking them yourself. It may be tricky right now but I'd try them in restaurant/diner first. Perhaps one that does DoorDash or a similar service.

Well, my eye candy is gone with Richard Burgi being fired for breaking Covid protocol.    Y&R don’t mess around.  He was one of the only reasons I watched the show.  I don’t know Robert Newman, but he’s the new Ashland.  What a mess. 
 

Does anyone understand why Michael left the DA’s office, only to be hired by Victor?  I know CLB will eventually leave to go on Broadway, but they just could have “forgotten “ about him, like they’ve done to other characters, but I don’t get why they went the retirement route.  I mean, Paul has been AWOL for years with no explanation.

This Devon "custody" case is such a dud. Dominic will be living with Abby and Chance. This case (IRL) would take months: mediators, psychiatric evaluations for all of them, hearings delayed, and courthouse restrictions due to Covid. By the time Devon gets any judgement, Chance may have made significant progress on his PTSD, and Dominic could be in preschool. Amanda living with Devon, but as of yet to verbalize any enthusiasm for what her role would be in a shared custodial arrangement, other than as Devon's attorney. Personally, I can't wait til Grampire Newman gets wind of all this B.S.

Devon is so full of 💩, that if you gave him a enema, he would fit in a shoe box. It has nothing to do with Bowie, it’s all about Devon.  Right now Devon your state of mind is more questionable than Chance’s state of mind. The more Devon talks the more he is being a dumb fuck. I have to say, MO has grown on me as an actress. I believe she is channeling her real life momma bear in telling Devon off.  Chance 2.0 has now become an absolute wimp.  In essence he’s telling Amanda that Devon is more of a father than he is. That Devon has more of an emotional bond with Bowie than he does. It sounds like Chance 2.0 wants to betray Abby. Does Lily ever say no. Is she going to do at Chancellor what she has done at ChanceCom and take numerous sex breaks?  Is that the way to prove that you can be worthy of being a CEO?  To think of it what made Jill qualified to run Chancellor. What formal training did Jill have?  As it was a “gift appointment” for Jill to run Chancellor, Jill is now passing on this “gift” to Lily. 

Adam is no dope and Olive definitely hasn’t pulled the wool over his eyes when it comes to Nostrils the Weasel. In addition, the more Olive tried not to give Adam any information about her plans to buy NM, but the more Olive talked the more arrogant she became and actually reviled what she was up to. RB and RN are both 63 and resemble each other which I find very refreshing. They probably have the same acting style. Unlike Chance and Chance 2.0 there is a completely different persons. Chance was more a more dashing figure where Chance 2.0 is unkept and more roguish. MS to GT than back to MS play Phillis much much different. I can’t envision GT as a very animated Rodan like Phyllis.

Now don’t get me started on Billy.  Billy Miller could do no wrong (as long as he smiles) and could never be the insufferable bastard Nostrils the Weasel.

Victoria's dress looked like a straitjscket, which seemed appropriate. As for Amanda, she would be co-parenting Dominic in Devon's Bi-Daddy scheme, yet no one has asked about her feelings in this scenario, (even "all-about-me" Devon) nor has she offered any. Strange.

Only Victor can turn a man's improved health to a once terminal cancer diagnosis into a threat against him and his empire. I can't be mad that Victor is now acting more like Victor and especially having issue with his company now being called Newman/Locke.  Not sure about Adam behaving 'immaturely'; I think it's more of he's not pushing his more practical and ruthless instincts because he's trying to play nice in the face of everyone telling him he's a daddy's boy POS (Billy and Victoria).  My hope for Adam is that he finds the balance where he can be true to himself without the overkill.  His talk with Victoria and Ashland was pretty good in that he cottoned to pretty much everything she was up to; where he goes from here will tell on the path he's decided to take.

When Devon said Chance can be Dominic's dad 'too' is when Abby should've thrown his ass out.  Amanda getting rankled when Abby told her to leave only to be reminded that she's there as both Devon's lawyer and partner and they can call Christine if she wants made me laugh. Amanda recognized, 'oh yeah, that' and beat it out of there with Chance. Poor Chance is so discomboulated about this whole situation he's trying to play nice and do what he thinks is the right thing for Dominic. I get the feeling he's so afraid of disappointing Abby as a father and husband that he's willing to disappoint her in this way since Devon is already willing and in this situation due to his being the donor.  I am flabbergasted that Devon is willing to torch his relationship with Abby and try to put a decorated military veteran suffering from PTSD on trial to take away their son.  And Amanda, don't even try to use what Chance said to you in court as leverage; if his mental capacity is in question, ANYTHING he's saying now cannot be used against him just because it benefits your case.

Haven't watched today's show yet but Ashland working a long con is what I've been asking for since his arrival, or at least since he developed a romance with Victoria. It's unfortunate that RB has such great chemistry with AH because IMO she's a tough nut to crack on that score. (The loss of Billy Miller did a lot of damage that's still being felt, for the Victoria character and for others.) What I'm not looking forward to is seeing Victor get to spike the football AGAIN when Ashland is of course vanquished.

The plot thickens. Ashland is starting to hire his own people without Olive’s knowledge.  Now maybe we will find out that Victor was right and Ashland can’t be trusted. I don’t think that Victor would be that stupid to make Olive CEO in perpetuity. I’m sure Victor can still replace her as CEO.  The worse thing, for Ashland, is being on Victor’ radar. That is only slightly worse than being on Nikki’s radar. 

Once again I’m wondering if Ashland is faking his Illness?  He always looked too good for a man that was going through an experimental treatment.  Once again TIIC are not even trying to give us a dose of reality when it comes to cancer treatments. First with Sharon and now with Ashland. Treatments last a hell of a lot longer than a few weeks. 

Devon is still full of shit. Since when is accusing Abby and Chance 2.0 of being unfit to parent Bowie is being fair to them. 

Chance 2.0 is actually defending Amanda. I guess he doesn’t know that she’s the one giving Devon hope. Chance 2.0 just STFU and listen to Abby. The answer is no no no hell no.  I knew it. It was so obvious that Chance 2.0 will wimp out and in essence betray Abby. This is really really dumb shit writing. TIIC are completely discounting Abby as a mother. Bowie’s father might not have the ability to be a father but Abby has the ability to be his mother. So let’s say Devon gets shared custody so now he has a father but not a mother?  Is Amanda now going to replace Abby as Bowie’s mother figure. Abby and Chance 2.0 are married. Devon and Amanda are not.  I can’t tell you how much that Chance 2.0 is upsetting me right now. He is absolutely and unequivocally undermining Abby. Devon has bonded with more Bowie more than he has so he should have joint custody but every minute Bowie will be away from Abby will be less time for her to bond with Bowie. To have a caring loving mother and father, Devon and Abby would have to live in the same house according to Chance 2.0 way of thinking. 

Isn’t New Hope a non profit foundation that relies on donations?  Does that mean that Banana Breath the Pompous and Noah will work for free?  Any salary they draw will take away funds from the people who the foundation is suppose to help.  That’s what I expected with Banana Breath the Pompous creating a job for Noah where one is not really requires. By the way, when was the last time Banana Breath the Pompous actually worked?  

Leave it to Mariah to talk some sense into Devon but Devon is giving Mariah half truths. Devon acts like he can’t see Bowie anytime he wants but he wants more that Abby is not willing to concede. Devon wants to keep Bowie, from Chance 2.0, no long how much time it takes for Chance 2.0 to heal.  

The final album cover turned out ok because of Tessa’s look but I still can’t understand why Noah insisted on NYC for the background.  What does NYC have to do with anything?  Tessa’s music is more of the heartland than the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple. 

In a sense, Tessa asked Noah’s permission to marry Mariah and he begrudgingly gave his approval.  If Mariah and Tessa had that important of a private conversation, their apartment was only a few feet away. 

Say it isn’t so that Rodan the Petty is flying off to Milan to work with Summer. I’m going to miss her 😉😉.

Rey suddenly being jealous of Sharon's closeness to Nick continues to seem odd to me. He knew going in that Sharon and Nick had a long history and are still co-parenting. Is he feeling neglected?

I hope this is where the MWTs were planning to go all along, into a debate on the differences between and relative merits of the legal, sociological, and biological definitions of "father." Am prepared to be disappointed though. 🤔

Pshht, I don't buy for a second that Christian was asking Nick why Phyllis didn't come around anymore. What he was probably wondering is why his home no longer seems like a carnival fun house for geeks and freaks. 🤪

Lemme get this straight: Chance wants to have more of a stepdad-type role in Dom's life and let Devon be the primary dad? Okay, I don't hate it. I think it could work as long as they're clear with Dominic that he's loved by them all.

What really killed me was when Abby was having her private discussion with Devoid, he kept his tone very neutral, very reasonable while she kept getting more and more upset. This seems to be a tactic men use on women when what they are saying is completely outrageous but they act like they're being logical and it's the woman who's being unreasonable.

I had a glimmer of hope today that the MWTs have heard how much we all hate this custody story, and maybe they are pulling back and going to allow it to end with some kind of visitation agreement and no long drawn out court battle. The Mariah talk with Devon and Chance with Abby seemed to imply they could just agree on some compromise and let it go.

 I’m ready for it to be over until we find out Dom is biologically Stitch’s.

 Meanwhile, every day that RB is on screen I get a little ache in my chest knowing it may be his last. 😢

I think it will end with a whimper and not a bang - and I hope that whimper comes from Devon.

Most of the storylines have ended with a thud for a while now.  All that sound and fury from ButtBiscuit about his big "plan" and it ended because ....... he came to his senses?  Like that would ever happen.

Amanda and her court case against her grandfather ended mostly off screen.  We never saw a minute of that court case.  

I think this storyline will end in a similar fashion and leave nothing behind but a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

I started to watching this show in Sept. and immediately thought Ashland {what a name} was pulling a long con.

If you were seriously ill and were going tor experimental treatment, would't  'y you want your spouse with you for support?

and Viola-the cancer seems to be abating.

My dish  sink smells better that that.

I assume Show wants us to see Noah's glances at Tessa as some sort of thwarted romance on his part, but I'm starting to think it's not quite that.  I'm half expecting Noah's sudden departure from London to be explained when an English police inspector turns up in Genoa City to question Noah about some unexplained disappearances.

I wouldn't want to be alone with this guy for long.

Hey Nick, nothing says "helping the needy" like carving out an unnecessary position at your non-profit to use as bait to keep your fully grown kid to stay in town.

Phyllis working in Milan?  Are they doing a remake of "The Ugly American"?  It would do more damage to our country's reputation than the Drive-Thru McDonald's tried to build at Rome's ancient baths.  Unless Marchetti's needs Phyllis to help with advertising.

Dominic is what, about 3 months old?  He's fed, held, loved, changed, kept warm and rested, all those good things.  He's not been left on a hillside for wolves, Chance isn't sharing a beer and a cigar with the kid, telling him war stories or taking him to a bordello, so WTF is Devon's problem, other than he wants to be Daddy.  The whole "Dom can't have too many people who love him" argument is specious, at best, since there's absolutely nothing stopping Devon or anyone from loving the kid.  Plus, he's got easy access - bullshit on him telling Mariah that Abby and Chance cut him off from seeing the kid, they did not.  But apparently even Devon was able to realize that dropping by right after you told them you were suing for custody was't the best idea.

Tons of people, and hopefully most if not all of us, have had people in our lives who deeply loved and cared for us other than our parents.  Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, neighbors, friends, etc. - the list is as long as there are people on the planet.  Most of them, though, realized that there were boundaries, parameters to be honored, and those didn't interfere with love or caring.  Devon's been given exceptional access to the child he was the donor for and instead of honoring that, he's demanding a role he's not entitled to.  

Chance is in no shape to be giving in to Devon's unreasonable claims and I hope Abby recognizes how insecure he is now and doesn't go along with him.  The guy needs therapy - and not from Sharon - and time to heal.  The kid will be just fine, but not if Devon can't stay in his own lane.

Thanks for pointing this out, Peacheslatour.  I hadn't realized what was making me so mad about how Devon was talking to Abby until I read this.  Ambushing someone and then telling them they're acting hysterically when they respond is crap behavior.
