They want to film shit that's interesting. They don't want their couple to go to the cinema or sit in a coffeeshop for 5 hours. Boring. I also think Stephanie knew about it beforehand. 

Stephanie's text to her mother that "they made me do it" would seem to confirm both that tlc arranged it and that she knew about it.

I fully agree. My wife and I were SO excited to see a queer couple on this ridiculous show. We were sorely disappointed to find an ersatz bubblegum tryhard and an attention whoring Kardashian wannabe acting out their college bicurious* makeout sessions on TV. We're both out of college and have moved past that stage, it is quite passe.

*I do think clown girl is actually bi, but I think blond girl is more attracted to the idea of being attracted to women. I know I say constantly on these boards that I take the participants' sexuality at face value, but if I had to put blond girl on the Kinsey scale she'd be a solid 1.

Thanks for posting this. I dislike how so many of these court shows use actors now. It seems like only the people's court and Judge Mathis are real these days (Judge Judy retired). Is it really that hard to get real people to tell cases? You fly them in , pay for a night in a hotel , seems like cheap TV. I guess actors are even cheaper?

I read she is just reinventing the series so she will own it.  It will be called Judy Justice.  CBS bought Judge Judy several years ago but wanted to end new production because it can show 20 years of reruns.  And they aren’t really time sensitive.  Judy was miffed because she wants to keep producing new shows so she will compete with her own reruns.

I had so much second-hand embarrassment for Erika. Steph calling her out in front of her friends was tacky and mean. Steph just keeps trying to find reasons to justify her keeping Erika at arm's length. It's not just that she's not being physical with Erika, I can understand taking it slowly and being practical, but she's just being a shitty friend in general. I've not seen any redeeming traits in her. Erika might dress like Rainbow Brite and overcompensate on the kooky stuff, but at least she's pleasant.

 I was speaking strictly for myself. I couldn’t even get into a serious relationship with someone like Ericka. No problem with a friendship, but I do think that after a certain age, that whole cartoon like appearance might possibly be a sign of a deeper issue.

Yes, and one of the best lines of the evening:  "I am sorry you walked in on this conversation" and then kept talking smack!!!  I wanted Erika to just say, then and there:  "Look all we have done is fight  - just go home.  This is exhausting!"

Another thing I noticed was then Erika said, "Well do you want to talk about what happened?"  Steph:  "I am not sure that is a good idea when we are driving for four hours."  Why?  Do you know with certainty that it will end in yelling, fighting and crying like all you other conversations?
