I liked the Blair and Tracy scenes even though the dialog was a bit clunky. They should know better though, I can't see either Martin or Lucy forgoing 50k a month for holy matrimony.  Blair would have more luck just taking Deception away and then dangling it as payment to Lucy if she got Martin to marry her.

I had some stuff to say about the stupidity of the prison scenes but now I'll just say this - with Billy Miller's passing, it will be even harder to watch CM as Drew.

Ugh, so they are going to further destroy Nik beyond my ability to forgive him. Spencer is no prize either.

I've never liked Nik and his son is even less tolerable, which I didn't think was possible. I think all the Cassadines are rotten human beings with zero redemptive qualities.

Well, I have grown to somewhat tolerate Sam. When she barely speaks. But even baby Ace doesn't stand much of a chance.

Being related to Laura doesn't mean you can't be a dumpster fire character. I do giggle sometimes, remembering  TC's Nik during the Relish SL, and how he blocked a door once and Tracy couldn't pass, and she kneed or kicked him in the crotch to get him to move.

Good times, good times.

Or they could just, you know, renegotiate the alimony. But that's too logical.

The Blair I know would not let herself get stuck paying alimony of 50k let alone every month since they were divorced. Why would Martin be eligible for alimony? How long were they married?

I don't know Blair, but just seeing her in the scenes with Lucy, indicates to me that she is an extremely smart, capable woman. The judge must have been on crack to make her pay $50,000 a MONTH to anyone, let alone that weasel, for apparently the rest of his natural life.

Also, in regard to Deception, I figured it is Lucy's company, therefore she was able to refuse Tracy's offer to settle, thus leaving the company still in danger from the lawsuit, without consulting Maxie? Then Maxie is able to unilaterally fire Brook Lynn?

I've already said I hate corporate stories. Zero interest in watching Tracy versus Lucy, especially since it makes little sense.

If Tracy wanted any part of ELQ, she had years before now to do this. It's such a waste. I was enjoying her and Gregory. At least they were fun and they both came alive.

Oh, well.

GH hasn't done corporate stories well since any iteration of Edward Q. was alive. It's great that we got the brilliant JE back, but a damn shame the writers don't know what to do with her. So many of the recent S/Ls seem redundant and anti-climatic.

When he gave her the first bottle of pills, she was of sound mind. She knew what she was doing and she didn't even read the bottle?  Just blindly took it and started popping them, a recovering drug addict? That's stupid and idiotic. People read labels when they buy things at the grocery store.

People tend to believe what doctors tell them, especially those who don't have a science background. The court-appointed psychiatrist tells Sasha that she needs to take these pills to get better, it's not surprising that she does what she is told.

You would think that, but the creation of Google has changed everything. One time I had a very bad reaction to an Rx my Cardiologist prescribed, literally thought I was going to kick the bucket. Googled the pills and found out it had...snake venom derivative in it.  Informed my Dr. about it, she kind of giggled and said, " I know, about 10% of all patients have that same reaction." From that point on I've been using the web to research any new meds. At the very least Sasha could have gotten a second opinion and we would have been spared the endless torture porn.

Amen. Deception went public, so unless there’s something in that arrangement that’s beyond the scope of the writers it’s highly unlikely that Lucy has 75% of Deception to give away anyway. As plot gaps go, I’m willing to hand-wave it to the extent it keeps JE on our screen. Hell, I’d settle for Tracy and Ava sipping martinis and recapping/snarking various PC goings-on.

Hopefully this results in Tracy being named CEO of ELQ but I assume it’ll be power CEO Michael.

Right.

Which is truly sad considering they know well in advance she's coming back. I am not gonna keep paying for Hulu if I'm not watching. I just hate the show has brought me to such an apathetic point regarding a character I used to love.

I believe THAT is what they excel at. Apathy.

@Winston Wolfe I was checking the PDR (physician's desk reference...REALLY BIG BOOK!) long before Google or the Internet existed! It's how I discovered I was allergic to Naproxen. No doctor had any idea why my eyelids were swelling. No one made the connection. I looked up the meds in the PDR and sure enough, it was way down on the list, but it was there.

So no, I take absolutely NOTHING without first asking 'why do I need it?' and then 'what are the possible side effects/how will it interact with my other meds?'

Finn, talk to your father about his wishes! Why does this show always avoid these kinds of conversations? They are incredibly important, and having some sort of script could be so useful to viewers who might be in similar situations. It's so aggravating the show completely punts here.

The Gregory/Esmé scenes were nice, if a bit heavy-handed.

It is excruciating to watch Anna's story. It's beyond stupid and boring.

Since when is alimony for pain and suffering? Blair had a terrible lawyer if that's why she's paying so much.

When Marshall said it was "water under the bridge" about once not needing his family, I thought, That's not really up to you to think that.

That was me. Whoever it is, it's one of the characters who died or is presumed dead.

She could have left for a bit to visit the bathroom or take a phone call. The show will have a ridiculous excuse no matter who it is in the video.

I still think it's Charlotte!

After the way they were looking at the video footage, I think so too. Because she's the only person Valentin and Nina would both cover for.

And because I'm in denial about that other person being a possibility.

I thought Victor might be a possibility but the mirror and paint doesn't seem like his style. Although he does have minions.  🤷‍♀️

Me too.  The hotel room seemed like a childish prank, which would be up Charlotte's alley, though I had hoped she's grown out of that.

It obviously wasnt her, shooting at the pool or setting the fire, but I can see her putting ink on clothes and leaving a message on the mirror.

Can Frank really be so deaf as to bring Peter back? Nina and Valentin finding it out together do suggest that it's Charlotte.

I liked the scene between Esme and Gregory. They both need some normal in their lives.

Finn is a more ethical person than I am -- I would just have gone to my computer and looked up my father's hospital records. But I don't get what Liz's problem with Gregory's doctor is. He competent at diagnosis and treatment, other people are available to explain medical terminology and hold Gregory's hand.

So today we found out that while Blair had the idea for whatever the Deceptor does, she couldn't make it work. Lucy gave it to her development people and they were the ones who made it work and did the testing on it.  Blair and Tracy's case seems as flimsy as tissue paper, not to mention that Lucy didn't steal the idea, Martin did, so how can she be blamed? I mean, I once thought about making a car that can run on electricity, can I sue Elon Musk now?

I have nothing to say about Hatman/Stella/Curtis.  Zzzzzzz

I don’t have much to say about today’s show — or nothing good anyway. But I did enjoy Nina throwing a Lucy out of her office after Lucy went on about Sasha and how she needs information right now so she can replace Sasha if Sash can’t come back. Like maybe she should’ve thought about that when Sasha was committed?

the other thing I want to say is that Blair Cramer would Never and I mean NEVER sleep with David Vickers. Frank knows the history, why is he so intent on fucking it up?🤬

But remember it was said that normally, it takes years of research and development to create a new product, and the Deceptor was on the market only a few months after Lucy supposedly thought of it?

If Charlotte trashed Anna's room, then the girl needs some serious help before she heads down the Cassadine sociopath route.

What do either Charlotte or Heather have against Anna personally?

Charlotte I could see resenting Anna. Valentin has definitely prioritized Anna over her since they got together and he’s been out of town a lot since Lulu’s been in a coma. He was around Charlotte way more when he was with Nina.

I can't remember how we left Blair in LLanview...what was the last we knew of her, before now? And I agree, though I never liked Blair, she wouldn't have slept with her aunt's husband. Weren't they still married, Dorian and David? Even if not, she still wouldn't have slept with him. So weird.

Heather's just nuts. She probably doesn't need a motive.  But, that's just so ridiculously random, I would hope it's not her.

When Charlotte and Val were at the tea place the other day and he promised they would spend more time together, Charlotte made a point to say "JUST the two of us, Papa." I actually think it would make a good story, as some of these adults have zero regard for what their illegal/violent/repulsive behavior is modeling for their kids. Hopefully it would make Valentin take a good look at himself. (Sonny, Carly, Ava, Nik, Michael, etc. should do the same.) Maybe if Valentin leaves Anna to focus on Charlotte, Anna will get her mojo back and stop crying all the time.

I assumed it was Alex, Anna's twin sister, but everyone is going to think it's Anna. I'm just guessing by the shock faces we got from Nina and Valentine. And I'm probably wrong but I don't like any of the alternatives, hell, I don't even like my own assumption. I think Alex (if that's her name) may be dead but it's a soap opera.

The reason I think it isn’t Alex is Valentin was with Anna when the room was being trashed and he knows Alex well enough to immediately suspect her but he looked shocked. That and Anna mentioning that the work was done by an amateur.

I don't think the adult misbehavior is necessarily a problem with their kids, at least when they are younger. With the exception of Michael's first year, Carly has actually been a pretty good mom. (It hurts me to say anything nice about Carly, you guys.) Sonny, too, for the most part. Valentin was a better father when he was a bad guy.

It's the good guys that join the WSB or get kidnapped or put into comas. Or dedicate their lives to healing other people's woes while ignoring the ones at home. Abandonment is a pervasive issue.

Most soap kids should be in therapy.

I don’t know if I agree with that. It gets ignored now because we supposed to think Micheal is the golden child but he had a traumatic upbringing. He was kidnapped as a kid along with Morgan and Kristina and was the only one of the three old enough to know what was going on. I don’t think he made it out of his preteen years when he was shot and put into a coma. He was frequently sent off to the islands without Sonny and Carly every time a new mob enemy was making threats. We were told he didn’t have any friends growing up because no one wanted their kids around him due to the danger. He was aware enough of what Sonny and Jason did to ask Jason to kill someone. All of that was due to Sonny being in his life so I consider that both Sonny and Carly’s fault since he wasn’t Michael’s bio dad. That isn’t even touching on him witnessing Sonny/Carly’s emotional abusive relationship.

It was Charlotte who vandalized Anna's hotel room. Kudos to all who guessed correctly. I'm just glad it wasn't Anna in a fugue state. An angry tween/teen girl I can deal with. A rattled ex-spy who's supposed to be unflappable but turns weepy and ineffective I can't.

Charlotte is 15, so not a tween.

Dante, way to get your fingerprints all over the bottle of pills that you want to prove is Montague's.

Are Pikeman stupid? They know that the Feds are looking at Sonny very closely, why are they still pushing him to act for them?

Dex shows signs of a brain.

Valentin needs to confront Charlotte as soon as possible.

Marshall: "Curtis built this club from the ground up."  Huh? He bought an existing club and brought in an experienced mixologist.

I don't get why Eddie and Marshall are saying that there are too few people to make performing enjoyable. One of the best concerts I ever attended was Harry Chapin sticking around (at Ontario Place) after almost all the audience had left and just playing things that he was working on to a small group of people.

Thank god it wasn't He Who Shall Not Be Named.

Actually think that's a decent little twist.  Her mom's in a coma, her grandmother is off searching the world, her dad isn't around much--totally lashing out at the nearest available person.  Get her in therapy to deal with her anger.

Seriously. He didn't even try to handle the bottle carefully.

N'neka does always look stunning, I agree, Selina! Loved her sticking it to Marshall. He was such an asshole to her earlier, snapping his fingers and acting as if he owned the Savoy.

My cable guide said "Portia feels left out" for one of the previews, and all I could do was roll my eyes. Grow up, lady!

Why would Nina have to be in Olivia's office to look at security video? And why not say to Olivia that she needed to check something quickly on the computer and her office was closest? So dumb.
