Turkeys are very calm creatures. Maybe that one just trashed the place cuz it is also infuriated by the stupid lazy writing.

I can't wait til that smug "ha, ha, Carly, you go and tell Nina off" look is wiped clear off Willow's face when she finds out Nina is not only her mother, but her only chance for survival.  Although, knowing this show she and Michael will make Nina beg to help her.  Because they're assholes.  Now and forever.

Carly and Drew are so boring together.  Sorry, I think it's LW.  She hasn't had romantic chemistry with anyone for years, if ever. 

So let me get this straight: Michael and Ned were going to try and "prepare the bird" for the dinner table, but when the turkey got loose, they ran outside like scared little schoolgirls.  Got it.

Alexis tried to pin Jordan down on the interview when she ran into her on the hospital but Jordan gave her the runaround. Alexis tried to get information from Dante when they were having lunch at the Metro Court but got nothing. Then she found out that Nina had more information than Alexis herself did (i.e. that Esme was in town and suspected of being the hooker) so she called Jordan and said that she was going to publish the letter now and did Jordan have any comments.

Alexis' rookie mistake was in trusting that Jordan would keep her end of the bargain.

Agree. At some point during the episode, he was sending her some looks that would absolutely telegraph his feelings in any Hallmark movie, but all he got back from her was  . . . a look.

I think CM has been at super-chaste Hallmark for too long.  The looks he was exchanging with Carly were less ‘I wanna rip your clothes off’ and more ‘I wanna grab your hand and skip through a meadow of daffodils’.  They do have chemistry but not of the romantic/sexual kind.  Dang, even Willow/Michael have more heat.

With Nina, I'm finally seeing the Sonny charm that has  been absent since the Sonny/Alexis days. It also helps that they act like grown-ups, while Carly and Drew act like high school kids. 

And the second Willow started with the 'tell us how you treated Nina like crap' I started FFing. This Willow is totally insufferable, which is a shame. She is green as an actress, but she was sweet with Chase and did some good work with the Nina/ Charlotte stuff, the cult stuff, and the scenes about the loss of her baby 

But this Michael pairing has done her no favors, she's got Michael's smugness in spades. Blech.

This whole "plot" with Holly makes no damned sense. She wouldn't let Robert help her (assuming that what happened yesterday isn't a sekrit plan) because Victor is SO POWERFUL and there is NO WAY to defeat HIM! That she...drugs Robert, but then escapes with the necklace, and then what? What does she think Victor will do then? And that smug smile on her face when she told the necklace it was just the two of them?

I thought she offered the hotel chef 3 times his rate to kill her turkey. 

But I don't think she ever said, "Send me enough already cooked turkey (which you must be serving in the hotel dining room if the chef is at work) to serve my family."

I don't blame the chef for refusing. Is s/he going to drop everything on what is probably a very busy day cooking and serving a regular Thanksgiving dinner to the hotel's guests to kill, clean AND cook a different turkey? That seems like a non-zero amount of effort. Besides, it seemed clear that no one at the Q's was prepared to wrangle the turkey into a container or vehicle to bring it to the Metro Court.

Behind as usual.  Becky Herbst is so tiny and youthful she and Esme look more like peers.  I almost forgot Elizabeth is supposed to have a son Esme’s age.

Ryan cracked me up with the wide eyes while the caretaker person droned on and on about the news and pickleball.

Ok, so Mac is not aware of it, so that he doesn't have to lie to Jordan.  Felicia orchestrated the whole thing.  Robert was faking the drugging/mugging.    The plan is that they'll say she's at a fancy shmancy burn hospital overseas, while she in fact heads to Canada with new ID and tries to find out where Victor is holding Ethan.  

And not to be even more convoluted but Holly gave Selena a jewel from the necklace in exchange for drugging Victor.  

Holly did lie and say that she left the necklace in the cabin for the police to find but we saw her put in her coat pocket.

Today was much better than yesterday. I love that the Robert/Holly stuff was a ruse and Felicia was helping them. Was this ES’ final episode? Chase dumping BL was gold. Hope it lasts because she was exhausting today

So Chase finally broke up with Brook Lynn because she didn't tell him about the chance to get get back on the force.. I hope it sticks and he doesn't back down.

Obrecht was fierce.  I loved her threats against Victor and trying to buy Cody off.  (So now Cody suddenly likes Britt? Yeah, right.)  I'm betting she'll throw Britt a birthday party.

It's the writing too. Drew treats Carly like she's some precious delicate flower who must be protected from all winds, even though of her own making.  Ever truthful, just a very marvellous person. I didn't like Jason's relationship with Carly but at least he called her out when she screwed up or went too far.

Holly changed clothes into new ones that Felicia had brought her after they drove her away from the cabin site and the new outfit had a pocket that she put the necklace in. If she had still been wearing it, Robert and everyone else would have seen it right away. No chance to sneak off with it that way.

Brook Kerr/Portia and TA/Trina.  Portia looked stunning as usual whereas Trina was sitting outside with a blanket wrapped around her.  I actually thought the blanket was a nice touch because it's -7 here in Toronto today, across the border from PC.  No way anyone's sitting outside on the patio in just their shirt, there Marshall and Curtis.

I'm not sure I understood Holly's plans regarding Selena and Victor though.  She gave Selena a jewel as payment for Selena to pour something in Victor's drink.  But it wasn't poison because she said a dead Victor doesn't help her find Ethan.  So was it truth serum and Victor will spill the beans to someone on where he's holding Ethan?  It's not a good plan unless he spills to Robert or Mac or Felicia or someone who will help Holly.  Seemed odd to suddenly throw Selena into the story.

Unless it's poison and if Victor doesn't want to die, then he'll spill where Ethan is? I don't know. This whole plot is beyond STOOPID. Like Robert doesn't have any contacts or snitches who could have drugged Victor or taken him, instead of dragging in another criminal that Holly will now owe. Because no way will Wu be satisfied with that piece of the Ice Princess.

Fakeout or not, Robert's reactions to Holly on fire was still really embarrassing to watch. And I kind of think everyone is doing a lot for Holly and not getting much in return.

The terrace outside Curtis and Portia's house was totally the same one as at Carly's. Even the crew has given up.

I was hoping the show had dropped the dumb Trina is Curtis's daughter crap. I'm so tired of Portia looking stricken every time Curtis brings up the genetic component of schizophrenia. I'm also not loving Trina moping.

I laughed that Mac, Jordan and Robert were standing by a stack of blankets while Holly laid on the ground burning, in fact Mac held Robert back"  And then when Mac lifted the blanket off the smoldering Holly he said " She's..." and I yelled out "toast!!" 

ETA; ya maybe it was a good fakeout but it was pretty bad acting and effects all around.  Like they all resorted to the "old time" soap opera acting.  There is no excuse for Jordan, she is just bad,

I think Brook Kerr is beautiful, and just fucking youthful that she thinks she might still be playing Whitney Russell? That squealing and giggling has got to stop. Portia isn't in her early 20s. Enough with that, already. That said, I really loved her outfit.

That Holly plan made no sense. Now she's in the wind with the necklace per the text Victor received. Did the gang secure Ethan's escape too to feel comfortable doing what they did, or is he still a prisoner? I didn't get her conversation with Selena because I had an all-staff meeting at the same time and someone was droning on in one of my ears.

Chase finally asserted himself and broke up with BL. I'm pretty sure they'll get back together sooner rather than later. She'll probably write the letter making it the best thing she's ever written, she'll work hard to get him back. But I was worried that she was going to steamroll his ass and that he would let her. 

Victor literally showed a second of empathy for Britt before Leisl came rushing in. I thought for a second that he was going to reach out to her and her mother and offer to help because he's a Cassadine and they've already brought frozen Stavros back from the dead.

Cody should be beaten with a bag of dicks. This dude is several levels of loser. I am freaking out that they'll try and replicate Scotty/Dominique when she died. That would not be okay, but these writers are so adamant about making him stick.

I hope Chase holds strong with the breakup. I have no doubt he and BL will get back together, but what BL did was so selfish she needs to sit with the consequences for a while (three days, knowing this show).

  Victor's minion texted that he didn't know where the necklace was, but Holly had it in her pocket.  She said her goodbyes to Robert, they kissed and then she was going to leave, but he said he knew she had it, so she pulled it out and sheepishly gave it to him.  Assuming of course, that it was the original and no one switched the necklace at any time, Robert has the necklace.

Felicia, disguised as a paramedic, is going to tell the police that Holly was taken to a rehab facility far, far away and the paperwork on her treatment is that she will be there for a long, long time. Robert told Holly that that should give her lots of time to free Ethan (although I don't know what she's going to do for money).

Holly told Selena that only one diamond was on offer. Presumably the remaining ones are enough for Victor to do whatever nefarious thing the show is refusing to tell us about.

We don't know what the drug does, or why Selina thought Victor  belongs in the ninth circle of hell.

Do the writers not even do basic searches? Why is Portia worrying about Trina and that she might become schizophrenic when Curtis has none of the markers? You'd think that Marshall was Trina's real father.

Marshall told Portia that he doesn't want to get a genetic test because he already knows that he has schizophrenia. Okay, but doesn't it sound suspicious to anyone that he has one episode over 40 years ago and nothing since? I thought that Portia was supposed to be scientifically trained.

When Holly was telling her about Victor kidnapping her son, Selena got this look on her face that made me think Selena had been through something similar.  That's when the circle of hell comment came up.

I don't understand the angsty looks Portia keeps throwing every time the schizophrenia is brought up.  If Trina is Curtis's daughter, there's no worry because he doesn't have any of the genetic markers.  If she thinks Marshall was misdiagnosed, why not just flat out say that to him?  Where is this story going, why is it taking so long to get there, and why do the writers think it's compelling in the least?
