I was telling Mr. Graight, who catches the show once in a while, how Lulu woke up from her 4 year coma and within 24 hours jumped out of bed, escaped from the hospital, and flagged down a car.  He said, "and then entered a dance competition?"

She shouldn’t have been able to walk at all for WEEKS at a minimum.  And I do mean minimum.  And funny how the machine monitoring her vitals didn’t register any changes when she removed the leads from her body.  And again, where is her feeding tube?  And what about her excretory functions?

There really needs to be a ‘Pitch Meeting: GH edition’ video.  Because coma patients waking up and immediately walking is super easy, barely an inconvenience.

With the news of Chad leaving the role of Michael, it will be a dumpster fire of how the stories he’s involved in will become because Frank, that prick, has stated he’s not going to recast.

Are they firing anyone else?  Or is it just CD and KM?

Given the obvious quality of the facility, I fully expect them to notice that the nurse's bag is missing well before they discover that a whole-ass patient is missing.

Lulu is far from the first coma patient on a soap opera to be out and hoofing it in hours. It's not different rules for her just because Sam just cacked it.

It would be Michael's baby, not Drew's, that Jason was theoretically pretending to have fathered.  Let's not wish Drew on Sasha--she's already suffered enough.

Is South Carolina the facility where Cyrus had his mother before Carly and Bobbie kidnapped her? I’m hoping Cyrus is doing it for good but there’s no way Laura wouldn’t be more involved unless GF had an emergency and needed to be off canvas.

I also skipped most if the trial but liked the ADA and want to keep her and send Molly/Kristina and TJ on their way.

Don’t worry, I never get nice things.

When they showed the flashback of Kristina falling through the window, I thought "Why is the hotel owner not on trial for negligent homicide?"

Because said hotel owner (or co-owner) is Carly, of course. ETA: Though I'm surprised they haven't managed to blame Nina somehow for the window being so flimsy.

I'm impressed that Michael actually thought to tape his conversation with Drew. I didn't think it of him.

At first I thought he was replaying the footage from the nannycam and was plotting how to unleash that on Drew.

Poor Sasha. She's likely shackled with Michael's baby, which is its own special hell.

Ya know, that's why I thought the nurses showed up and rolled her to one side and propped Lulu with pillows, because they urgently needed to...go away and get coffee.

She found a nurse's bag that magically fit her it contained hoodie, t-shirt, yoga pants and sneakers. I don't know about underwear though.

My main bit of confusion is the time of day. Cody is driving and it's dark but court has only been in session for a few hours?

eta: I liked Lulu saying she rode English vs. her father and brother riding Western. That's Tracy's influence, obviously. I'm looking forward to seeing them interact.

I was wondering about the machines too!  And when Cyrus came in she seemed to be visibly sweating, which would make sense as she’s just exerted herself more in those few minutes than she has in four years.  No one notices?

I don’t need to see a realistic recovery period as that would be tedious and this isn’t real life, but a LITTLE realism would be nice.

After 4 years in a coma, Lulu wouldn’t be able to talk or feed herself, let alone have the strength to pull IV’s out of herself, walk, steal a bag and hitchhike.

I enjoyed Ric twisting everything Kristina said and making her look like a nut.

It cracks me up how everyone is so outraged that Ric is doing his job and giving Ava a zealous defense, as he is required to do. At least Molly gets it. Alexis should too, having been a defense lawyer, but she doesn't want him to win.

Lucky as a PI or some sort of consultant would work to keep him in PC. He'll be better than Sam, that's for sure.

When Lulu said she had two kids, I had to stop and think who else there was besides Rocco. Wait until she finds out Charlotte is MIA.

Of course Sasha is pregnant. I suppose it's too much to ask that it's a false positive?

Ric railroading Kristina was enjoyable. She sure went into my daughter territory real fast.

Once again, I wish with the fire of a thousand suns that they would write Kristina off.

She seems to have eaten the show.  One day she's commiserating with Dante, the next, she's the star of Ava's trial.

What's the story for Jason possibly claiming Sasha's baby is his?  Carly was a frightened young mother-to-be, up against a rich doctor who had the ability to take the baby away from her.  Michael just doesn't want his wife to find out that he did the cook.

Considering they drag every other story line on and on and on for months and months and years, then they rush the one that should be carried out a bit longer- I mean Sasha’s pregnancy will probably be 18 months long but LuLu just be bopped out of her coma. My brother was in a 3 week coma and spent 3 weeks in rehab!

Lulu should take Sam’s liver on the road as a miracle performing tent revival preacher! It’s woken her from her coma with no pesky coma side effects, produced a hair tie when she needed it, and even gave her a slightly southern accent!

I haven’t liked Kristina ever since the writing for her has been, “OMG Kristina is a such a train wreck! Look everyone, she’s about to do something impulsive and stupid!”

I hate what they've done to Kristina since the recast. Like all of a sudden she and Molly have problems, and TJ doesn't like her. She seemed to be doing fine for herself even if she was "just a bartender at Charlie's." She also managed the place. I know people who have made a good living doing that. And if it's something they love doing, that's even better.

Why can't Sasha just say she had a one night stand with a random guy? It makes just as much sense as her randomly sleeping with Jason when he rescued her. She barely knows him.

Nice meet cute between Lulu and Cody, but he spent time with her in the hospital, sitting by her bedside. I could maybe buy him not recognizing her in the dark car and with her hood up, but what about when she got out of the car and was standing in the light? Maybe he wouldn’t have immediately made the connection of who she was, but to not even have a glimmer of recognition???? Yeah no, not buying it.

I love Ric. I don’t care how much of a sleaze he is, the man is 🔥! And his cross examination of Kristina was a thing of beauty ❤️. Also, Dante, what exactly makes Ava a bad mother to Avery? Has she harmed the kid in any way? Is Avery not happy? You’re never even around the kid, how would you know? I just can’t with these stupid contrivances!

So Laura is too busy handling ‘town emergencies’ to take a call about her daughter? The same daughter that she demanded wake up from her coma? The same on she fought so hard to get a liver transplant for? Um, no. But I did love Lucky giving the director of the facility grief. ‘My sister is in a coma, how did she just disappear?’ And previews show him saying he’s calling the cops after the nurse said Lulu’s visitor was Cyrus. Go Lucky! No more moping around , whining about how he doesn’t belong.

back to Lulu for a moment, nice to see Maxie still keeps the extra key exactly where Lulu kept it so she could just walk right into the house. 🤣

of course Sasha is pregnant. This show does love its baby stories. Did someone forget to tell Frank that it’s 2024 and women are allowed to have full lives without kids? 🥱

Color me shocked that we are seeing some realism with the objections, “overruled” and “sustained” rulings today.

YES!!!! PI Lucky Spencer!!!! I am ALL IN! The questions he was asking Elizabeth and then with the Turning Woods director. The only BULLSHIT was Laura’s unavailability. Like she wouldn’t drop everything to learn about Lulu’s condition and whatnot. But Plot! gotta Plot!

I was ready to throw something at the TV when Liz and Lucky started to rehash the "will he leave" conversation for the umpteenth time.  Glad it quickly morphed into worrying about Liz.

Not a Ric fan, but I did think his interrogation of Kristina was excellently done.  Having not bonded with the previous version of Kristina (wasn't watching), I am impressed with KM's.

Can't help but wonder if Sasha will give her baby for adoption and have it end up either with Molly and TJ as a hidden Quartermaine, or with Brook and Chase.

I'm liking this version of Lulu so far.  Anticipating her realizing the status of her family, and reconnecting with both Dante and Laura/Lucky has me looking forward to the show for the first time in a long time.

And I think Laura being "busy with city business" is their version of "oops, we forgot to write her into those Turning Point scenes!"

Yeah there is zero chance Sash’s gives up her baby. But as much as I’m against pregnancies on this show, if they have this kid be a tick, I will personally fly to LA and beat Frank senseless. Also, SM should walk away.how much torture can one character withstand???

She was on a ventilator with all those tubes across her face. And as far as anyone knows, she's still in a coma. I can't fault him for not equating that woman with a random blonde on the side of the road. 🙂

So far, I'm liking Lulu 3.0 but I do feel a little cheated that she didn't get to wake up in the hospital with everyone around. Hopefully we get a Spencer family scene soon.

I don't know how any family member allowed a crying woman who baby died to be attack badgered.

How could any jury not feel bad for her? Especially with how horrid Ava is.

When Dante was called out about conflict of interest he should have replied, I don't know uncle Ric.

Uncle Ric can badger neice, nephew and talk about Molly and it's no conflict brought up?

I give him a pass on this. He did seem a little suspicious toward the end, but maybe he reads the boards and knows how outlandish it would be for Lulu to wake up from a 4 year coma and a liver transplant and just hop out of bed and run out into the street.

I’m just relieved she ran into Cody first and seems to have safely arrived to her front door. I really couldn’t with Cyrus kidnapping her. At least Lucky knows Lulu is missing and Cyrus was sniffing around, so if Cyrus does get to Lulu before her return is revealed, Lucky will be hot on the trail.

Lord, I hope so. If anyone doesn't need more kids, other than Sonny, it's Michael. Especially now.

And after losing Liam and Brando, and now Cody not to mention her addiction and what Gladys did to her, I don't want Sasha to suffer any more losses but having Michael's kid is right up there too.

Ric is just loving attacking Kristina. What a small, petty man.

The last thing this show needs (and the first thing it always wants) is another long-ass inoffensive baby story to kill time and pay for itself.

This whole setup with Slow Talker's maybe baby is a prime opportunity for a classic soap exit of a useless character, where she leaves secretly pregnant with a major core child who can then return many, many, many years from now. Or not! Hey, even Kim Nero did it.

Not not only do I love PI Lucky but I loved how Liz got involved to help him with his investigations (who killed Sam and what happened to Girl Reporter). More of this please.

Shallow note: not liking Liz's new hair color, it's a bit overpowering, she needs a few more shampooings so it's not as intense.

But glad she and Lucky are focusing on who killed Sam/ where is Lulu rather than Lucky's bottomless man pain.

I knew that was coming when Kristina was written as so smug in the scenes (with Alexis and others) leading up to the hearing. No siree, she wasn't going to let Ric rattle her. He could do his worst, but she was going to get on that stand and tell the truth. Then she could watch in satisfaction as Ava finally went down for the pain and misery she has caused all of Port Charles for years.

When people talk about soaps being written in a way that makes it no big deal if you miss a day, they usually mean characters will talk about previous events in dialogue, or there will be flashbacks when something really big happened. But this is an example of setup that makes it possible to miss the next day. When one soap character (mostly Alexis here) is warning another (Kristina) about something, and the character being warned doesn't seem sufficiently concerned, the thing is gonna happen.

Same, and while it wasn't her fault she tripped over Jagger's bag (will he be IDed as the owner, and will his murder finally be properly investigated?!), she had no business going to Ava's hotel suite in the first place. What a dumb thing to do. Did she really think she could persuade Ava to withdraw the subpoena?

I like how they've gently reframed Lucky and Sam's relationship as 'friends' and not 'we fucked in a hot tub a lot'. Well, maybe not a lot but that's the thing I remember. Was there even a hot tub? Am I imagining that? Nevermind.

Kristina is lying and while this whole trial is embarrassing, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of watching Kristina trip over a bag, start twirling wildly and then somersault out the window. The whole effect was just so terribly and hilariously done. I’m the clumsiest person I know and I don’t even think I could manage that one after 3 bottles of wine while wearing stiletto heels. So Ava’s on trial for something she didn’t do (for once) and meanwhile there’s a federal agent who was murdered first by character assassination and then at point blank range by Sonny and that’s just been swept under the rug. Sounds about right for this show!

Yes there was a hot tub. I remember the scene of the hot tub getting installed as Sam was planning on getting Lucky to her apartment so that they could have some revenge sex in the hot tub.

She planned the revenge sex against Jason and Liz exactly how she planned the revenge sex with Ric against Jason and Alexis (e.g. all dressed up in her nightgown displaying herself in the moonlight in front of Ric deliberately).

LOL at the trial that Dante was explaining that he is Kristina's half-brother because they share a father, and then also he is Avery's half-brother because they also share a father. Sonny Corinthos, the Elon Musk of Port Charles.

Did the judge adjourn for 10  minutes because she needed a bathroom break?  Or a phone call?

Until the show tells me differently in so many words, I can believe that Kristina really believes that Ava pushed her. Memory is notoriously susceptible to emotion and interpretation and Kristina did have memory loss for the immediate time before her fall. It makes sense that the story that she told herself and now believes is that Ava pushed her.  (There is an interesting technique in Adlerian therapy where at the start of therapy you recount your earliest memory. At the end your describe it again and often it's substantially different as the therapy has made you realize things that you blocked out before or that didn't fit the narrative you've been telling yourself. It's also used in CBT for trauma.)
