  1. I loved Lucy with Robert Todd Lincoln. Too bad that couldn't have gone on for a few more eps. Or maybe I just liked Robert, regardless.
  2. Not really a spoiler - more a possibility raised by someone at ABC. Interestingly, she doesn't think Peter or Bryan would make good Bachelors for similar reasons others have stated here. http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-bachelor-ben-higgins-round-two/
  3. Yeah. My bigger issue is the weight loss supplement thing as opposed to what he calls himself. And it is even worse considering what many here have pointed out regarding his training/educational background - seems he isn't one who should be "helping" people with weight loss or similar issues.
  4. I'm thinking this is the case. I think as far as they know, it is only Arnold leading this loyalist troop. They just know the Rangers are presently in New York - not that Simcoe and the other English dude (forget his name) has been asked to lead along with Arnold since no one likes/trusts Arnold. So Ben was giving Abe his chance just by virtue of getting Abe closer to Simcoe, without knowing how close he will actually be.
  5. I thought the exact same thing. If you have the benefit of knowing certain challenges ahead of time and having some time in between, you'd think you would take advantage of that. It was Candice who said it.
  6. Late to this because I didn't realize the show was back/new. Anyway - I don't think Selasi looks anything like Idris Elba. Who he does look like is probably someone no one else here knows. To me, he looks like Michael Robinson, who was the quarterback for Penn State's football team when I was a student.
  7. Funny - there was actually a deleted scene of Peter telling Dean that he was bothered by that comment, too.
  8. I completely agree. I must have seen the other show that you watched as well. I saw some seemingly new show that sounded exactly like EU but with a different host. And I also thought he was very handsome, but he had the usual bland personality that a lot of these shows have. It just highlighted more how engaging Josh is on camera.
  9. In addition to school counselors, all schools have a school psychologist assigned to them (though not necessarily full time, depending on the school district). School psychologists also do some counseling, along with other things that most people are not aware of or have never heard of unless they had a reason to interact with the psychologist. Some school districts also have social workers or similar positions.
  10. Not sure if you guys watched Person of Interest, but his performance there is also a favorite of many.
  11. I think Adam is familiar to me from Signed, Sealed, Delivered. He was in an episode when they were doing it as shows and not movies - the one where he was in an accident and lost his memory. I liked the new mystery movie, but my Mom didn't. But one thing that is bothering me and I don't understand how the casters or producers (or whoever decides which actor will be which character) are so stupid that they
  12. I will preface my response now by saying that I've never watched an entire season of Bachelor or Bachelorette. I've occasionally seen the last episode or two of season out of curiosity regarding the pairings. So I can't speak to what most other one-on-one dates have looked like or anything else. Having said that, I don't know what it was that made Rachel gush over Peter so much already, although it might be things we never saw. I saw a link somewhere to a deleted scene of them on the initial plane ride, which was cute but wouldn't have added one way or the other. Regarding Peter's feelings - he didn't reveal his feelings a ton at this point (which is understandable to me). However, I rewatched the scenes after the funny Ellen show people's recap, because their brief highlights made me see something. Maybe I'm seeing more than what is there or I'm crazy, but I think his eyes were actually revealing and more expressive than anything else. When she was talking and he was looking at her, they seemed to show a lot of warmth and interest. It didn't look like just the polite eye contact that someone without interest might give you. I likely won't be watching this full season either, as I've never been one who could tolerate these more dramatic reality shows. But I'll be curious to watch out for more scenes with the two of them to see if he opens up more visibly moving forward. I also like Dean so far, and I don't think his being 25 alone should disqualify him for her. Plenty of 25 year old men are married and even have started having children. If he displays an immature personality moving forward, that would be something else. But I didn't feel like his nerves were necessarily a sign of immaturity. I'm Rachel's age and I'm still super anxious on dates and questioning things I said or did. I found it cute and liked that he tried to be considerate in not pouncing on her for a kiss. But in general, depending on the guy and his maturity level, I'm all about leaving room for guys a bit younger and a bit older than me. Why not? If men can date women a million years younger, why shouldn't we? Especially since women tend to live longer.
  13. More movie summaries. Including what sounds kind of like a Christmas version of the Valentine's movie Love At First Glance and a sequel to Father Christmas. http://ew.com/tv/2017/05/09/8-christmas-tv-movies-hallmark/
  14. I thought I remembered a Salsa to "Spice Up Your Life" on the English version of the show, Strictly Come Dancing, but when I looked I realized it was a Samba. Still good
  15. That commercial pisses me off because they're trying to show how awesome they are for this charitable work to help feed people in need while their company is one of THE reasons so many people are hungry and otherwise in need in the first place. People working for them and getting paid scraps while the owners get richer and richer. SMH.
  16. He was there to write his thesis, so technically it wasn't a vacation. Guess he wanted a nice place away from his usual life to concentrate on writing and be inspired, but he wanted his cat with him. I'm a dog person as well, but I guess his cat's company was a comfort to him while he worked. :-) A silly thing that bothered me about the movie was how they also felt the need to give him a terrible hairstyle. Just because he's serious and what they may have wanted to look like "nerdy," doesn't mean his hair needed to look like it did.
  17. I gave Cats and Dogs a try, as there have been several movies that I have enjoyed that others here did not like so much. However, this time I am in agreement with pretty much everything. It's too bad, because to some extent I appreciated the guy being the overly serious planner one this time.
  18. Poems don't necessarily have to rhyme. Thanks to those who explained it will be two episodes. I was wondering how they were going to handle 4 finalists.
  19. What I bolded is pretty much all that's keeping me watching the show at this point. So this past episode was tough to get through without them together.
  20. I don't think this one has been posted yet, but I thought it was funny. The Southwest Airlines commercial about getting away:
  21. Agreed. Not all parts of the country are super gun happy. I grew up in NJ and went to grad school in Boston and didn't know people who owned guns. I'm living in northern Virginia now and actually do, and it has been a culture shock.
  22. Yeah - he pretty much made a comment about that to his daughter. That they weren't really going camping, like real in-the-woods camping, but in nice fancy tents or something to that effect.
  23. Wow. I guess I'm not the only one watching like I thought was the case before this board was started. :-)
