I can't remember which wife said that Kody just begins to ignore a wife more and more until the wife wants to leave, thereby making it seem that SHE is the one responsible for the breakup. I totally agree. He did it with Meri, and the Christine called him on it. He made a big mistake challenging Janelle to choose between him and her sons. It's apparent to me that he, consciously or unconsciously, wants to be only with Robyn.

I discovered something interesting. There is an old time radio program called the Investigations of Quentin Nickles. It's about a police officer working in Toronto around 1895. There is also a feisty female doctor in the program who appears to be sweet on Quentin. Another character is a newspaper writer who writes about Quentin exploits. These mysteries were written by someone named John Richard Wright. Can't find any more details but it's quite a coincidence, no?
