  1. Hello! New to this forum. I'm not sure if it has been discussed here previously but WHY does Melissa wear so many dresses that seem to zip up the back? Just the wardrobe person's decision?
  2. If you like regency books, M.C. Beaton wrote a number of hysterical regency books under the name of Marion Chesney. They are in series of 6 books each and are most definitely NOT the typical regency bodice rippers. They are incredibly funny. My favorites are the School for Manners series with 2 eccentric old sisters preparing difficult girls for their first social season.
  3. Has anyone purchased the glare reducers that attach to your sun visor. We bought some years ago but they did not work. We now live in the southwest and sun glare in the afternoon is fierce.
  4. While I enjoyed this season I confess that I personally never felt the chemistry between Anthony and Kate...just never saw why they were drawn to each other. I loved the queen as usual...what a hoot! The scene with the mad king was so touching and Edwina shone. My heart aches for Pen...she can do better than Colin. Eloise is so selfish, in my opinion. She's more a spoilt brat than a rebel. Kudos to the Burger ton and Feathering ton moms! Loved them both.
  5. Though I try to keep up I confess I don't know what the red pill is. I do know about the blue pill though!
  6. Love the e trade commercials with the baby investor and helicopter pilot!
  7. I like the commercial with Flo's gum chewing sister and the baby. I also like the Liberty Mutual commercial with the actor who can't remember his lines.
  8. I hate any commercial with that little green gecko.
  9. I'm not sure who writes these commercials. The latest stupidity imo is the Chevy commercial where the hubby asks his wife what she wants for lunch. He suggests sushi but she says she had sushi yesterday. A while later he suggests seafood and she replies," you know I don't like seafood.". Correct me if I am wrong but isn't most sushi seafood?
  10. I have never actually seen tears from Robyn. She is quick to 'wipe' them away. I don't believe she is actually crying. When I cry my tears come from my inner eye near my nose. I think that's where your tear ducts are located. She's a phony in my opinion.
  11. I am really tired of the car commercial set to "It's a most unusual day". It is supposedly set in California with a snow machine blanketing a family's house and yard. It plays endlessly in my location.
  12. Respectfully disagree. Religion is a major part of their lives. They look to Jesus for comfort, support, and help. As a Christian myself I thought their wording was sensitive, truthful, and classy. I wish them well as they go forward. They have come far and have a way to go.
  13. Olivia won't compromise. It's her way or the highway. I feel she shouldn't have put Mariah in that position...your parents come and I don't play...or at least I'll make everyone aware of how miserable I am. Kim should not have come, or if she did she should not have brought the family. And Ethan stalking around the parking lot was plain creepy, although it won him points with Olivia. Does Ethan ever smile anymore? It's one thing for Ethan and Olivia to want to have nothing to do with his parents...no problem there, although I think they are extreme. But to drag other family members along in their little drama is unfair, especially when they know Mariah is beginning to make peace with her mother. Just my opinion.
  14. Moriah's makeup puts me in mind of Tammy Faye Baker. Perhaps her sheltered upbringing made her unaware of the difference between current fashion and looking like a street walker.
  15. It's very good. Typical pyramid scheme. What interested me was the similarities to Scientology. If things aren't working out it's YOUR fault. And they encouraged other to sort of shun those who had the good sense to get out. It is a kind of cult. Even hubby was fascinated.
  16. Is he actor in the long blonde wig in the Liberty Mutual commercial the same as Captain Obvious? Their voices are so similar.
  17. I love the Kraft singles commercial with the guy singing, "It's time for grilled cheese. It's time for grille cheese" as he cooks his sandwich.
  18. OMG! I was watching a program called Log Cabin Living andthe woman who was searching for a cabin in Vermont sounded exactly like Michelle. Her name was Shelley. The woman has a doppelganger!
  19. Hubby and I are yelling at the TV, "Some of these guys should be fired!!" Fingers crossed.
  20. These things would make me happy. Get rid of LaCroix's father and his wife. Bring back his in laws and Clinton Skye. Sarah can stay (for a while). Just my opinion.
  21. Bravo Jill. Ok she is not wearing a bikini, but compared to what she wore under her parent's roof, this is progress. Nothing wrong with modest swim wear especially if you are packing a few extra pounds! She looks genuinely happy.
