OMG, so I'm not the only one who couldn't stand the way Dawn was dragging out the word "wrong"! She's so full of crap, she knows exactly what she's doing. Her and her hubby have a very strange dynamic going on. I can see him "selling surgery" to a patient and he seems to carry over his patient talking finesse to his wife or something. That house they live in with the armor outside (and this is coming from someone with a smallish medieval armor in my living room - his name is Fred), and the painting of her and the poses of the "medical clan", are just tacky, tacky, TACKY. Baby Belle DEFINITELY looks exactly like Jared, and I find this hilarious and fulfilling at the same time. 

I thought Brittani looked HORRIBLE. She's definitely not bikini material. She has not butt, no waist, she just presents as dumpy in whatever she wears. And now she has that telltale "I had a tummy tuck" stretched belly button that looks like a button hole. I've also realized that Mary's face reminds me of a mouse wearing makeup. 

I think Miguel needs to cut his losses and run. The looks he gives and his body language smack of just being very uncomfortable. Sarah really only wants to have a relationship with Laurie and a dachshund she can share with her Mother. I get the not wanting children, but for the reason of not wanting to disrupt that relationship seems like an odd reason for not wanting kids. Not exactly sure what she's doing with Miguel in the first place. 

I was honestly surprised at GPHG's "news". I thought she was going to say that SunME was moving in with them. Yeah, the abrupt change in SunME's demeanor shows just how fake this show really is. Yet we continue to watch weekly, like programmed lab rats. Call me shallow, but I noticed GPHG needed a fill in, who goes on a vacation/cruise without getting your nails done prior? LOL!

I know!  I described her as looking like a very tall toddler in that horror of a bathing suit.  Her mother might look 10 years younger if she changed her dated makeup style but the sun damage is there to stay.

Yes! Most of the Florida crew are metro NYC transplants in their 50s - probably too young to retire, unmarried, and never hint at any former careers.  Elena's mother, is in her 60s (I think), still in Westchester County, NY, and does seem to be retired.  Dawn and the mother in Chicago acquired their wealth in marriage: Dawn to a doctor, the mother in Chicago to a lawyer and as a widow now.  

I can't assess the income of Carlo's father's pizzeria - maybe it's a local institution or chain.  I can't imagine that Frank the (masturbating) tailor is secretly a wealthy, famous fashion designer.  As for Miguel - it appears he's a real estate agent or broker, but Sarah seems to have no job.

I have always wondered how any of these participants seem to live with no visible means of support, it is infuriating.

Ok, so Angelica is pregnant and going to marry Jason, Sarah offered her kidney for her mother if she needs it, Cher stood up to her mother and said her & her husband need their alone time with the baby, and Brittani got her tummy tuck.

Also, the women from Chicago, all I remember is the son in law came in and said he quit his job. Unless I missed something, those two story lines ended abruptly? The Smothered pillow talk is comic gold. What those pairs think is acceptable and what they bag on, based on their own boundary-breaking relationships, is hilariously hypocritical.

I had forgotten how awful that one girl's birthday lips were. She looks like a 40 year old from the housewives shows -- not a 21 year old.

In the regular season, I found them obnoxious but on the pillow talk, they were great I thought so many of them were really very nice  and much more normal on pillow talk.

I tried to watch this show last year, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Now here I am attempting to watch it again. This time I sat through the whole thing. 

I think Sunhe just seems evil to me. It seems like everything she does is to make her feel in control, and that she doesn’t have any compassion for the people she hurts in order to feel that way, even her own daughter. Angelica is doomed, until she kicks the bucket anyway.

I have a feeling that the girl whose mom is inseminating her didn’t accept her being gay and so she’s constantly trying to feel close to her. The mom looked so uncomfortable when she was telling her coming out story and also, she has no regard for Laura Leigh at all.

And the one mom and daughter (Karla and Rykia) show each other their sex tapes? What in the actual fuck? And there is no amount of money that would ever make me wax my mom’s cooch or let her wax mine.

I also want to say that I personally LOVE that Kathy did the Gene Simmons theme. That wig was killing me! It looked exactly like her hair.

With Sunhe and Angelica, I really didn’t expect Jason to have a Japanese mother. Two mothers who don’t approve of their children’s partners. This should be interesting.

I have missed some of this -- did they order a sperm-to-go insemination kit? I didn't even know self-insemination was possible. That was beyond weird.

Jason is not a hoarder. He is just keeping the house junky so Sunhe will stop trying to move in with them.

I will never discuss my husband’s sexual likes and dislikes with my mother and I don’t want to see my mother’s lingerie.

I actually feel badly for Jason. It’s absolutely despicable that Sunhe took away his ability to see his own child being born. She has no compassion at all. We all knew the pandemic had hit and visitors at the hospitals were limited. She should have stepped all the way back and allowed Jason to be there to support her and see his child being born. I’d never forgive Angelica or Sunhe.

Lauren is a brat. She is sneaky, dishonest, and downright shady as hell. It’s incredibly weird to want your mother to be the one to impregnate you. As soon as that came out of her mouth that her mom was involved in the impregnation, I’d divorce ASAP. I felt so sorry for Laura Leigh. 

Why can’t Cher be open and ask Jared for her and the baby to stay two more weeks instead of manipulating him sexually? I don’t blame him for being upset. Also, the baby was doing well with the parents leaving until she saw them get upset at having to leave her.

I cannot stand Lauren. I really felt for her wife when she was telling her about the insemination. It was such a violation of trust. I wonder how the left out sister feels about the closeness of Lauren and her mom?

The pair that live in Hawaii reminded me a bit of the nude duo from the first season. (Although the sex tape mom and daughter would be more likely to do a nude photo shoot together.) Actually they are like a mash up of season one nude photo session duo and the ones from last year with the sick mom who kept the baby teeth to smell.

Cher and Dawn drive me crazy with their voices. Hey Cher, how about just asking your husband instead of plying him with sex. I don't know about any of you, but having my mom set up a sex date for me and giving me sex toys and lingerie would not put me in the mood. Especially if she offered her used lingerie. Yikes.

Sunhe and Angelica should just kick Jason out of the picture and raise the daughter Sunhe named by themselves. He can visit every once in awhile. There is no way Angelica and Jason will ever have a halfway decent marriage. Also -- who wears full makeup to labor and deliver a child?

Cathy and Christina continue to bring the laughs. They are the most normal close mother/daughter. Christina is completely annoying and intrusive, but at least they aren't sitting around waxing each other and sharing sex tapes. 

With most of the moms/daughters, it seems that the dad is absent and/or the moms had the kids young. I get being close to your mom, but this is just insane... which is why I watch.

I like when Cher’s husband asked if she was lying. It was such a lie. I hate Dawn’s house the way it is decorated. It’s so medieval but it doesn’t work. She is taking him away from Belle. I like that he said to never scheme behind his back again. Jared is very good natured.

Lauren is an entitled, spoiled, immature brat. Laura Leigh has every right to be pissed and feel betrayed. She asks for more defined boundaries, and then mom gets invited to the specialist appointment. I’d fucking leave, go to my favorite bar, and park my ass until I felt like leaving. Then I’d stay with friends or get a hotel because you couldn’t pay me to be in the same space as Lauren. Fuck her.

My heart hurts for Laura Leigh. She is too normal for TLC.

Laura Leigh has so much right to be pissed. The whole situation is weird. Even Lauren’s Dad was like WTF when he heard about the Mom home insemination.

Here's another thing that bugs about the whole Lauren situation. She doesn't have regular periods. Since any chance of conception would cost money, I would think the first thing that she would do is see a fertility doctor to find out what's going on with her reproductive system. 

Laura Leigh deserves better than Lauren. Trying to figure out how she fell in love with Lauren in the first place. Even without the whole mom issue, Lauren doesn't seem that appealing. 

Dawn and Cher's scheming was so unfair to Jared. He is such a good guy.

I remembered Cher from My Super Sweet 16 & Exiled.  She seems like a decent person for a spoiled girl. But I was thinking “nooooo” about the dentist appointment.  Jared has sacrificed a lot and he already feels left out.  She needs to throw him a bone or two

I wonder if Papa Lauren is from Boston, the accent seems familiar!  Kinda love him, he makes sense.  I caught Laura Leigh saying  “let me ask your dad for the day off.”  I wonder what they do

I am so amused by Kathy & Christina, they just seem like sitcom characters.  I love how Kathy says “sah-sage” for “sausage!”

I don’t know if I dislike Jason or Sunhe more, but I wish Angelica would speak up

It is the very best justice that Belle is the exact image of her father and doesn’t even look vaguely related to the shrew twins.  
 

I don’t like Sunhe or Anjelica at all but I do agree with them about Jason.  That house is disgusting and always has been and I wouldn’t bring that tiny baby to live there either.  Has the lazy cow Anjelica even held her child?  I think she will totally let her mother raise the baby.

They are ridiculous. That mom is something else. She's got a real problem not butting into Lauren and Laura Leigh's relationship. Lauren needs to suck it up and go home to her wife. I wonder how much of the dynamic is because Lauren is married to a woman, and her mom doesn't want to be replaced by Laura Leigh. I feel like mom is sabotaging Lauren's relationship with Laura Leigh.

What strikes me about many of these pairs is that the mom is hanging on for dear life to their daughter to fulfill a need in their life. They foster this extreme co-dependent relationship. Then both parties can uber defensive when anyone comments about it or they think someone is trying to "break them up".

Kathy and Cristina are my faves. They are over the top, but not inappropriate. You can tell there is so much love in the extended family. Carlo may bitch and moan about Kathy, but you know there is love there.

Karla’s “but we always did this before” crap was so annoying! Like, your daughter is literally telling you what her boundaries are and you are blasting right past it and then gaslighting her over it. Giving her a foot rub does NOT make up for it. She makes me think that she looks at her daughter like her personal toy to keep her entertained and nothing more.

It really bothers me when Sunhe was holding the baby and telling Angelica if she wants Jason as the future father of her child. Um, there’s no future father of her child there! He’s the father! She may not like him, but he’s now the father of her grandchild. She needs to suck it up and let them figure it out on her own.

I was fucking screaming at the TV for Laura Leigh to divorce her wife. My heart was breaking for her trying to communicate and her shitty wife and mother in law saying not to upset Lauren. They completely invalidated Laura Leigh’s feelings. And then when Lauren’s mom told her husband that she was always going to be #1 in her daughter’s life, I lost it. Laura Leigh needs to bounce. No one deserves that. Their relationship isn’t going to get better if mom is #1. Lauren is insufferable, immature, and obnoxious, and Lisa is a piece of work.

Father Cher’s home was so tacky. It shall be named Cringe Castle, the ancestral home of The Ladies of the Screeching Dildo. Lady Cher of No Backbone and Queen Dawn the Perpetual Overstepper. All hail Princess Belle, long live her reign (especially since she looks like her father).

Dawn having Cher’s breast milk painted on her face is next level, man. Fucking disturbed me.
