Should read "Kody wants out of the financial burden in Las Vegas". And why is "the race on" to find a venue? They didn't have to get married immediately. I guess Aspyn is following in the family tradition of "do it now, not do it right".

Yeah and the location Aspyn chose was $15,000 for 100 people if I heard the lady correctly (although Aspyn indicated they'd have 400 people).  To which Janelle and Christine confirmed they spent that much if not more on Mykeltie and Maddie's weddings.  Those Browns sure know how to splurge on weddings!

I saw these photos on the People magazine website . Mykeleti is plotting revenge against the “fair Aspyn.” I can see it in her eyes. 😄😂. Where’s Taco Tony?  

What is up with Mitch’s half beard? All he needs is a straw hat, and he’s ready for Amish country. Grody forgot to condition, or comb his rat’s nest. It would have looked better tied back. Aspyn looks lovely. A natural beauty.

Cheated and saw this episode last week! My 2 cents:

Noticed Janelle wasn’t at the Grand Opening Extravaganza, but didn’t catch the reason why...did she throw one out? 

Was aware because I wanted to watch the dynamic between her and Meri’s mom. But interesting that she wasn’t even there. What could Janelle possibly have had going on that was more pressing? Was she struggling with the latest health trend? Was she trying to figure out segmented sleep? Shopping for Placental pills? Looking for her Third Eye in a junk drawer? What kept her away from Meri’s Star-studded grand opening? Other than awkward encounters with Meri’s mom and/or brother. Janelle doesn’t do awkward. 

Also...those interest-only mortgage payments are going to change to principle+interest. When that happens, their mortgage payments will all DOUBLE monthly. That’s right, DOUBLE mortgage payment. That’s why Kody has this burning need to leave. That’s the only reason. He’s so full of crap saying he always felt in exile. When they first made the move to Vegas, he was saying he always wanted to live in Vegas because there he could be free. Now suddenly he’s in exile. Now that he’s staring down the barrel of doubling his monthly mortgage payment x 4. He’s re-writing history to suit his current financial condition.

An alternate name for Aspyn's thread could be "Gnomeo and Juliet." After watching this episode, I agree that polygamy is on this guy's agenda. I see it happening within 5 years - sooner if Aspyn doesn't get pregnant in the next two. He'll have "a calling" and somehow Aspyn will convince herself she has a calling too.  "I'd never force her into polygamy" is vastly different from a definitive "no."  When he feels the time is ripe, he can probably get her to think it's her idea, "it's destiny" or some other crap. It's really a shame.  (I have nothing against polygamy if it's what both of them want, but Aspyn seems very definitely opposed to it.)

Was Meri's brother Adam, Janelle's ex-husband, at the grand opening? Even the possibility that he'd be there might have kept her away.

Hell, just do some basic research. He says "I don't know" when talking about the surgery. As a parent, he should be doing a shit-ton of research to understand just how bad it can be for Ysabel if she doesn't get the surgery.

Yes, they said not everyone is having dinner.  I know someone who did that, they had dinner just for the close family and friends and others invited came later just for drinks and finger food.

I'm a member of a crafting community that has a lot of LDS (Mormon) women in it and I have heard that there are a lot more available LDS women than men. So sadly that paired with the way they were raised given scraps of attention from their father (Kody) has got to have screwed these girls/women up when it comes to men.
