LOL, now that you mention it, I am sure that few minutes was the highlight of the party. It went from the guests being like "oh ha ha, Farrah's going to go at this pinata" to "Wow...", and this sullen quiet where everyone was thinking "She really has some stuff she's got to talk to someone about", but no one says anything until they get in their car with whoever they came with, like "Whoa, that was fucking WEIRD!" She pulls off the blindfold, sweaty and out of breath, tossing that war club aside and spitting on the remains of the pinata. Everyone stays quiet for a beat, the kids don't go for the candy right away because they're scared but can't say why, until finally drunk ass inappropriate Debra goes "HAPPY EASTER!"

Or better yet, "Now let us pray."

Furnished By Farrah is looking for delivery drivers.  The comments are the best!

"Be prepared to be yelled out, told you suck, probably won't be paid because this ? face thinks she is above all, and probably thinks people should work for free. Be ready to install sex swings as well."

"You forgot to add in must be willing to be verbally abused by nasty narcissistic attention seeking fame whore owner."

How narcissistic is "Furnished by Farrah"... Farrah Who? She's assuming the general population knows who she is.

All the big stars who branched out throwing their name on products, Dessert by Jessica Simpson, The Martha Stewart Collection, even Paris Hilton did back in the day.  People know those names. A couple of senior citizens driving past "Furnished by Farrah" aren't going to have a clue who she is or why they should take their business there for furniture over another furniture store. "Sophia Laurent" is actually a  better store name because it's not "Accessories by Sophia Laurent" which would again, make the person wonder who SL is.

Speaking of guests, who were those people? I know they weren't friends of Farrah. Could they have been the family members of the production crew?

SPLAIN, I really want to know who those people at the Easter party were as well!!! It's been bugging me for days. Farrah never seems to have any friends, other than some random porn star that shows up each season. Or an old lady next door who takes pity on her. We've never really heard of family, other than her sister. Who were those people??? It was in someone's yard, not a church or park. So that would lead me to believe a personal invite was extended. I'm just at a loss. Maybe someone related to Michael's new girlfriend?

My best guess: people who work for her at either the yogurt place or the furniture place.

Someone in one of the other threads noted that Farrah was on "The Doctors" today.  She talked about wanting butt implants and addressed the issue of Sophia wearing makeup at her young age.  Here are links to the segments online:

Sophia and makeup: http://www.thedoctorstv.com/videos/teen-mom-star-under-fire

Farrah's butt: http://www.thedoctorstv.com/videos/teen-mom-star-under-fire

She looks super Mrs. Wiggins in this part where she goes into the office!  I couldn't stop laughing!  And there is NO way that she doesn't already have butt enhancements.  She did not get the Mrs. Wiggins Butt (tm) from exercise only!

That was interesting. The younger male doctor(?) was firmly planted in the middle of the road. He was not stepping off to either side. The older male wasn't saying much, it was difficult for Farrah to get a read on him. But the woman? She was having none of it and Farrah didn't notice at first. When she did notice, she got into her usual tizzy! Farrah tried her hardest to diminish this woman, dismiss her, continually speak, speak over, insult, speak over some more, and then ignore the woman. Just like Farrah usually does. And then this happened:

Woman: Can you take accountability for anything?

Farrah: Yes. Yes! I'm an, I'm an amazing parent and that's what I take accountability for.

Ha! You know how people say "the only people that are crazy are the people that don't think they're crazy"? Well...

Frankly, I'm surprised Farrah continues to do these interviews, because they NEVER make her look good. I LOVED that female doctor who not only called her out for the makeup thing, but Sophia's personal SM accounts as well. She kept trying to point out that Farrah is modeling these things for her daughter, so of course Sophia wants to be like mom. Farrah takes no accountability. Even with the makeup thing - she claims OTHER kids were doing it as well, but only she was called. A. I find it hard to believe that other 7-year-olds were wearing makeup. But B. If they were, how do you know you were the only one called? Self. Inflated. Ego. Oh! And she says Sophia can STILL wear makeup, even after the principal talked to her about it. She is basically teaching Sophia to do whatever she wants, regardless of how anyone else feels. Like Mommy like Daughter.

PS. Her hair is AWFUL!

Farrah was full on duck lips in this clip!  And, once again, Farrah is wearing cocktail party attire when there is no call for it.  Who wears a glitter jumpsuit to a therapy session?  I also like how Simon keeps his coat on the whole time.

Hah - right?!  He knows they won't be staying long.  So now she's going to hang her hat on him lying about talking to the jeweler, instead of focusing on how ridiculous it is to buy your own engagement ring when your "boyfriend" has expressed no desire to propose.

Is Farrah's delusion so strong that she can't see that he's using her for paid vacations and that she's essentially his sugar mama? Or do they have some kind of deal where she pays him to pretend to be her boyfriend on TVbecause 'only ugly girls are single'? If the second is true she should find a more professional employee because I'm sure a different actor would actually pretend to be into her for the right benefits.

  • Love 6

Doesn't everyone use Farrah for paid vacations? Or at least some camera time with the possibility of a paycheck?

That's no therapist, that's Dr. Jen

Dr. Jen is the female version of Dr Drew. She's Farrah's nearest, dearest, closest, best-est friend. As long as there's a camera and some money to be made, of course. Jen says Farrah has suffered the most horrific life event that Dr. Jen has ever heard of, in all her years of practice. Which was probably just that Farrah's previously paid boyfriend (before Simon but not James Deen) didn't show up to film Dr.Jen's show after James Deen refused to play along with Farrah's "celebrity sex tape with her boyfriend" was "leaked" and she subsequently had a pregnancy scare.

I should be embarrassed that I have knowledge of these things.

At least with Michael and Debra she gets free baby-sitting. I mean, there's some twisted love for Farrah there despite the creepy dysfunctionality. There's nothing in it for Farrah with Simon besides a TV boyfriend which, I guess, could mean everything to her.

What is wrong with Farrah?  She is fascinating, she's like an alien to me.  I watch her and seriously don't understand what I'm watching.

Did you notice when she realized the female Dr was calling her out she threw in that she lost Sofia's father.  I'm not saying that finding out the father of your child died wouldn't be extremely hard.  My problem is Farrah rewrites the history of Farrah and daddy Derek all the time.

It's terribly sad for Sophia that her father passed away and Farrah's boyfriends have no interest in stepping into the daddy role.  Who in their right mind would ? If daddy Derek had lived , I'm positive Farrah's TM segments would be filled with them brawling while trying to co-parent.  Farrah is certifiably insane.

I don't think we would've even seen him that much, honestly.  If I remember right they were fighting a lot and either broken up or about to be. At one point I think she was considering not even telling him she was pregnant (again if I remember right - it's been awhile!).  I've often wondered if she would've even made it as far as Teen Mom after her 16&P episode if she didn't have that whole story to rehash over and over again.

That's my memory, too. When she was trying to do the paternity test through his sister, she told Farrah that he knew she was pregnant because he heard it through the grapevine. Farrah didn't tell him. Although, there was a brief phone call played on her 16 and Pregnant episode that made him sound like a crazy jealous person, and Farrah probably shouldn't have been with him if he was like that. I'm sure she didn't bring out his best qualities, but it didn't sound like a healthy relationship.

In my opinion, and with absolutely no supporting documents for it, Simon is a key player in Farrah's financial shenanigans. He probably enjoys the parties she attends in the adult industry, and may even be bodyguard/manager/money launderer for her work as a paid escort, if you believe such things, and I do.

YES! Thank you! That was what I forgot to mention in my original post. She just trots Derek out any time she needs to deflect. It's gross.

I guess I'm a heartless dickhead, but she didn't even LIKE that guy. She was planning to keep him OUT of Sofia's life. The revisionism is so aggravating, they weren't some great love story. The bottom line is she's always been a fucking asshole and that lady doctor was right to call her accountable. The idea that you're a great mom because you SAY you're a great mom is laughable. "That's what I'm accountable for, for being a great mom!" I also liked the "If people want to look at me naked on theinternet, that's on them!" like she thinks they're all just gross perverts. The doctor was like "Well YOU put it out there for people to see, so it's also on you!"

Isn't it so strange that, if Derek's death broke Farrah's heart, it wasn't even alluded to on her "16 & P" episode?

I was gobsmacked when I read that he'd died, the story we got was, "bf's an asshole, I'm gonna be a single mom, baby's here, byeeeeeeeeeeee  Mom & Michael, it's party time!"

mind you, I haven't read Farrah's memoir so I might be missing a piece or two, but yeah, that was incredibly bizarre. (not shocking regarding this family;  maybe we should take up a kickstarter to pay estranged sister Ashley for a tell-all?)

ETA that many of these girls have an estranged sister Ashley.  Coincidence?

I don't think you're a dickhead. I do think it's possible to have a contentious relationship with someone and still be genuinely sad about their passing, especially sad over a child losing their father. However, I think Farrah takes it way beyond that. She DOES act like she lost some great love of her life and it still kills her to this day. And I'm just not buying it.

PLus it's like seven years ago. I guess I expect people to get over shit. Stop using it as a excuse, and a poor one.

I think a lot of what we saw during 16 & P in regards to her relationship with Derek was due to Debra & Michael. Michael had chased this young man out of his daughter's bed one night after she had sneaked him in her room to have sex (and maybe Michael even attacked him and the police were called? not sure about that part). Her parents didn't like him. I think she even says in her 16 & P episode that she AND HER MOM had decided that what they'd do was cut him out/not talk to him since he was controlling (or whatever adjectives they used). This was all before the the family dynamics flipped - when Deb was the control freak in charge rather than Farrah (as it is now). Farrah had come to her mom - scared and crying - and asked for an abortion. Her mom said no, and then I think Deb kind of took control of the situation so to speak. I have no doubt that Farrah was probably still on-and-off with Derek in secret throughout the pregnancy or at least probably thinking in her head that they'd be "on" again. She kept up the narrative that they were cutting Derek out for the 16 & P cameras because she knew Deb would see the show and it was the narrative the family wanted to show. Now, I don't think Farrah and Derek were a great love story or even a healthy relationship. But I do think that in Farrah's mind, she probably thought they'd eventually get back together and maybe raise Sophia. Then when he died she definitely rewrote history....but I still think in her teenage mind she thought they might get back together.  Plus, even if she didn't think they'd get back together, the idea of knowing your child has no chance of ever knowing her father (even if she planned to keep Sophia away from him - which legally I doubt she'd be able to if he'd wanted to be involved - Sophia could have sought him out as an adult...that chance is completely gone now) had really hurt. Then to add to that, when Derek died, Deb & Michael didn't really try to reach out or comfort her or anything. She says they just kind of never talked about it and almost acted like it was convenient that he died. I don't always believe Farrah, but I do believe that Deb & Michael probably did act like that. Seems believable to me. I also think that not having any kind of support (even from her family) to process his death, especially from her parents, probably helped create the monster we see today in Farrah. I don't think they even discussed it until the second season of Teen Mom...so for an entire season the family was still acting as if Derek's death was nothing and the family line was that he didn't matter (ie: Farrah's pain didn't matter). I don't think they were addressing it in public in front of the cameras or in private, but I think Farrah was suffering alone.

Of course she overplays how fairy-tale-happy her relationship with Derek was and uses it to deflect. But I do think some of her pain over Derek's death is real. I do think she probably thought she and Derek might be "on" again one day & that she did hurt for Sophia being born never being able to know her father. I believe she was especially in pain from this in the earlier seasons. I think she plays it up, but I think on some level, the pain there is real and has a lot to do with how she treats Deb & Michael.

Of course, none of this excuses that she uses his death to deflect now or that she's a horrible person. But I think at least some of the pain is (or was) very real.

Also....Farrah's story just reinforces to me that if my daughter ever comes to me scared, crying, pregnant, and wanting an abortion, that I'll say "Ok, get in the car. Let's go. I'll be with you through the whole thing."

Funny how this show influences parents probably more than it does kids now. I'm the same way, nothing's more important than your kid knowing they can come to you WITH ANY PROBLEM and you'll have their back.

I completely agree that she brings up Derek to deflect when a interview isn't going her way.  It annoys the crap out of me, y'all are right she never even told him she was pregnant and then painted him as a crazy ex from the little he was shown (well heard I guess) on 16 and pregnant.

I get it, minus the pregnancy and I was a little older (18) my ex died in a car accident... We had been broken up for 9 months, and hadn't ended well, so logically I have NO reason to believe he may have been "the one" but I do think about it sometimes if maybe at some point we would have gotten back together, I do still care (16 yrs later) and wish things ended differently...But unless you knew me at that point in my life, or you're reading this you probably wouldn't know that about me. My point is, while grieving and talking is healthy, bringing it up when it's convenient to deflect negative attention is just obnoxious.  As much as she still carries on you would thing she would still be wearing all black and abstaining from sex (the laughing at the thought of her ever doing that in my head is too loud).
