Meghan can be confronted with irrefutable facts and she will just disregard them.  It's not that she doesn't believe them, it's that they don't fit her narrative.  And I don't even know what her narrative is.  She says she isn't a "Trump republican" but she sure does defend his policies.  

Her meltdown about socialism yesterday was a sight to see.  It's easy for her to condemn socialism (in reality democratic socialism which we are already practicing in a lot of ways) because she hasn't ever needed a helping hand. And for all her screeching about how much things would cost maybe she needs to consider how much things cost us now.  Health care and a college education aren't affordable to most people without some sort of assistance.  But in Meghan's mind that is OK because she doesn't want to have to help pay for anyone else.  When it comes time for her collect social security and Medicare I'm sure she will say no thank you.  I mean after all she wouldn't want to partake of a system she finds such fault with.

Can I have a seat at your table? Hope springs eternal. I am in denial that Megan will be back next season.  The only way that she will tolerable, is if Anna or Tara is seating at the table. Plus, I want to see her reaction to the Blue wave that is coming..

Meghan once again proves how entitled she is. Complaining about the bailout of farmers. I know other bsilouts controversial (banks, auto, etc) because of misdeeds by BIG BANKS, and how many innocent people hurt by their actions, so on. but the farmers are victims of a trade war they had no control over.   They deal with floods, droughts and other shit...but MM, a GOP administration put them here, now a GOP needs to help.

Something I've also wondered. Perhaps Abby could be coming on for the first month of the new season (the last month on Meh-gun's contract) to see how Meh-gun acts even when she has back-up. This is just me grasping for straws at this point. The show is unwatchable with McCain there and it's only going to be twice as bad with a "friend" there everyday.

yes, she could NOT shut up today about her idea that there is a split in the Democratic party (there IS one in the Republican party).  Twice, she tried to bait Valerie Jarret into saying something about it.  I loved how VJ dismissed it with "there's room for everybody."    I think Meghan was trying to get a quote she could use later.  Because you know that for the next 18 months, Meghan, whether she's on The View or somewhere else, is going to try and make sure there IS a rift in the Democratic party.  She will ask every democrat to comment on what another Democrat said, to try to get them to disagree with each other, and then hold up a disagreement as  proof that the party is falling apart.  

Her agenda is so transparent it's ridiculous.

She was correct that the Hillary/Bernie split is part of the reason Trump won, with Bernie supporters failing to show up to vote in critical states.  But she fails to realize that it was a huge wake up call.  That form of self destruction is not going to happen again.  The Valerie Jarretts (love her!) of the party are going to make sure of it.

Yes, because that's what she does.  Meghan looks at the red and blue map of the country and believes that it tells her all she needs to know about people. So the fact that there are plenty Republicans in New York City escapes her because NYC=Blue, and that's all she feels she needs to know.
