I really don't like when Erika talks about what it takes to be an artist. I'd much rather hear that from, you know, a real artist. Her "artistry" is limited to average singing, average dancing, and above average attention to a look. Don't bore me.

I've stopped watching this season, but please tell me that Erika was not pontificating about her artistry. "Cinnamon at Crazy Horse II, Peaches at Scores, and Chardonnay at the Yellow Rose are here tonight to give a Learning Annex seminar on the artistry of writhing around in latex and your underwear." What artistry? She's someone who convinced her husband to spend a million dollars on her mediocre talents. If she's going to talk about her real talents, like how she managed to convince Tom to spend so much money on her negligible singing and dancing, I'm all ears. Hell, she could stop paying gay men to squeeze her into uncomfortable clothing because I'd happily pay up if she taught courses on how to hook a sugar daddy who indulged your whims.

HIS FACE when she said that (that basically she is paid to bring the drama and it was producer driven)! Priceless. His face was all: "C'mon Erika you can't say that" and her non verbal face back was all "But I just did. ANDY."

I am confident she wore it because it was a $12,593 Versace track suit, not because it was comfortable (though it might have been) hand selected for her by clothing buyers she has on standby and the glam squad she pays. No broke ass JUICY or PINK across that ass separates OTR sportswear for these bitches.

Erika is feeling like a big deal lately - she doesn’t need Andy or Tom anymore, ya know.

She might be more relateable to a lot of people for that, but for someone who is very into clothes, whose career is dependent on those things, and to whom image is very important, that could have come across as at least dismissive, if not an outright put down.

I like Teddy. I also think she's kind of slick and not as innocent and laid back and not into the drama as she claims to be.

Sometimes, she does come across as judgy.

I admit that I really wanted the boat people to say that they couldn't wait anymore because they had to keep to the schedule. I would have been totally okay with Erika finally arriving only to see that the boat was long gone.

Sort of like how Kim expected the women to wait for her back in season 2 when they were in Hawaii and she arrived just in time to see the group taking off.

Sometimes a person needs a wake up call like that to be reminded that it isn't cute to keep people waiting.

I was hoping that Erika would arrive via Helicopter ala Dorit/PK Casino Royale party and then was lowered onto the Berlin Boat via winch rope

None of these women would want to be friends with me, and I know that. I could probably maintain a social type of friendship (the superficial sort) with most of them. I couldn't with either Dorit or Erika. My disdain for Dorit is scattered throughout these pages as is my dislike of Erika. Honey, if you invite some friends to go with you to a place (a zoo or a boat ride or whatever), you cannot be the last person to show up. You are the freakin' hostess. You should be there first. I won't even discuss her costumes. The only time she looked like a human woman was on zoo day.

Like many of us, I'm sad to say goodbye to Kyle's old house. It's a lovely house. The new one is grander, but it's not homier.

While I agree both Lisa and Dorit looked good at the spa...they were not makeup free. Both of them had foundation and under eye concealer.

That was finally Dorit's real hair we could see - no volume, flat and dirty streaked blond.

Didn't Dorit say at Teddy's spa event - I won't let just anyone touch me. I'm very specific and have my own people?

I thought that was a weird thing to teach her kids, to be honest.  I can't decide if I think it's strange that such little kids need that lesson (I mean middle schoolers okay, but a five year old? Are five year olds saying negative things about their friends? Mine sure wasn't). And then, little kids see things in black and white, so the "negative" things they might say are like "Jimmy was bad because he hit Bobby".  Let's be real, in that scenario Jimmy was being bad, and the negative comment in that case would be a teachable moment, so it's actually good to talk about it.  I don't see the value of, or the need for a rule like that with very young children.  The whole thing puzzled me.

Coincidentally, however, it worked well with her current storyline.  Imagine that.

see I don't believe anything about Horrid Dorit is real . . . not her current bathing suit line, not her accent not her boobs.

But she is still determined to sell herself as authentic.

Last night when Andy quizzed the cast at WWHL about what plastic surgeries the women had, had.  Horrid Dorit didn't admit to anything.  Yeah . . . right . . . here's her h.s. picture.

I am at a loss-I don't see what Dorit had surgically altered.  I see new hair color but she still has a less than small nose, her lips are pretty much the same, her eyebrows are tamed.  Dorit still has bags under her eyes.  See latest without make up photo:  http://people.com/style/real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-makeup-free-photos/

I think Dorit's nose looks very different now in comparison to how it looks in the above pic. JMO.

As far as the producer-driven stuff goes, I also get that feeling. For me, it's something about the extreme confidence level Teddi, the newb, has in her Ths when she's going for someone (mostly Dorit, sometimes Erika). I can't quite put my finger on it, but my spidey senses are activated.

Saying someone has "pretend amnesia" is equivalent to calling them a liar. There's no other reasonable interpretation for that expression.

Teddi wants to be able to say whatever she wants to someone and suffer no consequences.  At the beach house when Erika began to tear up Teddi didn't back down from her stance on Erika being weird and sneaky and even wrote about it in her blog.  The same with the dinner in NYC-Teddi stands by what she says but if someone namely Erika or Dorit stands up to her and states their feelings or opinions Teddi starts crying.  Teddi might want review the way she talks to others -it isn't all that pleasant-she is fairly dismissive, condescending and contradicts her own edicts.

Teddi actually threw everyone out of her beach house and cancelled the day's events because Erika asked that Teddi et al, not pet her.  I guess by the time they got to Berlin production let Kyle and Teddi know there was no cancelling the day's shooting because someone was late.

Good God, is that what a Versace track suit goes for these days? The $12,553 markup on that is criminal. Versace is making a killing. Money certainly cannot buy you sense, or good taste for that matter.

Erika's Berlin Boat Outfit/Makeup

I liked the look - it was fun.

I was curious enough about it to YouTube How to put on a latex outfit.

I found a video where a man wearing a full bodysuit - head and all (I mean like Spiderman/Deadpool in Latex) listing the pros and cons of each method.

You don't use both lube and talcum powder - it's either or.

Con for talcum powder - it takes the shine away from the latex. When you sweat and you will sweat - should a rivulet of sweat trickle down it will be white and it won't look nice for white streaks to show on your latex outfit

Con for lube - one hour after application it gets "tacky". If the lube is anywhere on exposed skin things will stick to you. Taking off the garment may require getting in the shower to rinse inside before pulling away from skin or it might be painful - OW!

Then there's chlorination - which changes the chemical makeup of the garment but makes it so that it is easy to put on

I am curious as to where does the sweat go? Does it just dribble down all night or is there a sweat puddle in there?

I took it to mean, not gossiping or being mean.  Of course a 5 year old is not going to understand that term, but they do understand, "Don't say anything if you can't say something nice."  Whether a double standard or not, Teddi is raising her kids with manners and a care for others feelings. I doubt very much you'll hear her them calling people "chubs" like Rinna's girls did when she took them to her hometown.

I think I was being too subtle --  what I really meant was I didn't 100% buy that she was teaching her kids that.  Rather I thought "that's what I teach my kids" was more a convenience of speech, to lend authenticity and credibility to her tv persona.  That's what I came away with anyway.

Just this viewer's opinion, based on nothing but speculation (and my awesome powers of intuition! ;)

If there is concern about using pyrotechnics when the fire marshal is there, then they  shouldn’t be using them at all.

That scene was interesting to me from a professional standpoint.  We are not allowed to have fog/haze machines in our building because it can block exit signs and has the potential to set off the fire alarm.  I really felt for the venue rep when they wouldn't easily accept the no.  I have always felt if you NEED those extras you aren't very talented.  Ok Go performed at my venue and I thought there was going to be a fight when their manager wanted us to turn off our fire alarm so they could have their fog machine.  I am not endangering 800 people so some jackass can have a fog machine.  If you haven't watched the Station fire video from 2003 (?), I recommend it.  You will pay very close attention to any venue you enter from that point on.  Haunting.

That latex outfit looked so horribly uncomfortable.  I don't want to wear an outfit that requires lube and powder.  She also looked very uncomfortable.  And FFS, she was sick as well.  Nice of her to spread the plague.  The Panda's were the star of the show for me.

Her makeup was a testament to the powers of contouring and shading -- her eyes looked very different than they usually do. I was impressed with the skill level of her glam squad over that.

(And now I am extremely intrigued about KFB's knowledge of all things latex clothing -- I feel there's a story there, KFB!)

Don't forget that the other moms at her kids school have a hard time relating to Teddi because "I only have one Cartier bracelet, not a bunch" sez Teddi in her intro brunch with Dorit.  She still cares enough to humble brag.

I posted it up there - Erika on the show was talking about how difficult it was to put on. So I YouTube searched it and watched the video of Deadpool Latex man. I also thought to myself - those mummy wrap spa treatments or what Teddy did with her client - I wonder if wearing a latex bodysuit would make you sweat just as much.

I can't imagine  where that Latex get-up would be even remotely comfortable.  And I don't understand why these women, when they know they are running late, can't take 10 seconds to text the people that are waiting for them.    Why didn't she make Mikey text them - oh, never mind, it probably took the entire glam squad to pour her into that latex number.   So sick of Erica's costumes and her glam squad and her "performances".  We get it Erica - you're "edgy".  Give it a rest for an episode.

The other annoyance continues to be Dorit.  Ridiculous red boots.   And her over the top fake reaction to the fashion show rehearsal.   I sincerely hope she is gone next season because she ruins the show for me. But I suspect she's back because the finale is apparently going to focus on her.  I don't know if I can take one more episode of her, much less another season.  PK probably showers alone because it's the only place he can get away from her and her theatrics for 5 minutes.  Marriage to her must be exhausting.   (And I'm no PK fan, he can exit with her any time now)

I'm loving Rinna's talking heads this season, though.  I also was wondering what the group dynamic would be like once LVP left, and it did seem more relaxed  (other than the "pretend amnesia" moment.).  I guess because Dorit didn't have to spend any time worrying about who LVP likes best and thinking of ways to ingratiate herself with her.

One more thing - Rinna - hire an exterminator.  Lola doesn't care about the rats.

Honestly those boots are the only thing I think I like about Dorit.

My two cents;

Erika - I don't mind her costumes. She had admitted she's playing dress up and owns the look despite its weirdness as opposed to Dorit who thinks she's being stylish, and is wrong. What I do mind, is Erika's attitude towards Teddi. When she apologized to Teddi, Erika implied that they'd discuss it privately but instead she attacks Teddi in front of everyone again. I agree, Erika's smugness needs to be physically, permanently wiped from her face.

Dorit - Her jealousy/envy is so obvious; Last season her looks were more subdued, except the bird poop hair, and this season she is copying Erika's over the top looks and travels with a "glam" squad. She's competing for LVP's affection with Kyle. I've seen more attractive bathing suits in Lands' End catalogs. I'd be more worried about the substandard suits she's sending down the short runway than whether the curtain falls right. If she was so concerned about her "fashion show", shouldn't she have stayed home or gone home early? Her yearbook photo from Amity Regional High School in CT shows just how much work Dorit has had.

Kyle - meh. Nothing awful, nothing great this show.

LVP - ditto on Kyle.

Rinna - She does have a smokin' bod, but does she need to flash every season? Can you imagine what people on the shore of that display, her jumping around in her teddy? If she still has rats in her house, she has more important issues to deal with than the housewives drama. You have enough money Rinna. Hire an exterminator. Ewwww.

Teddi - I loved the scene with her family, and I want her hairdo in that scene. Say what you want about her husband's looks, but I don't think they're bad, and he seems to really love spending time with his family in a down to earth way. I felt bad for Teddi when Erika attacked her again, but was confused why Dorit was saying "You scare her.". That came out of left field even though Erika can be pretty scarey.  Some people think Teddi is boring, but I think she's the calm within the storm which is a breath of fresh air. Every so often, I see her dad's face in hers or her kids.

Overall, there wasn't as much drama this season as last. Wonder what they are going to talk about for 3 reunion shows.

So far Teddi seems to be a pretty benign human being.  One who may have said the wrong thing but seems to be a decent human.  As evidenced by how sweet her kids are and how she really wants to make things right when she may have made someone mad/upset.  Erika seems to think her niceness is a weakness and picks at her like a scab.  Fucking with someone for sport is a cunty maneuver.  I can stand behind a well deserved take down but for gods sake, pick a fair fight and don't be a bitch just because you can.

Kyle has really been bugging me this season.  She plays dumb quite a bit and that is getting old for me.  While Rinna may have a slender figure, I am sure the staff on the boat really didn't need an intimate look at it.

No pain unless it’s champagne ? How long did it take PK and Dorit to write that line? They are SO insufferable.  Dorit stressing chatting with PK was a totally different accent than when she greeted the fashion show staff and still different in her TH. This finale fashion show is going to be an EPIC shit show.

Erika In that latex what is her deal? Avante garde ish outfits in an edgy back alley restaurant eating stuff you don’t even recognize isn’t my idea of fun. Different strokes I guess ... it  truly is Stefon personified from SNL.

WTH are the pink things The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick was packing up from Portia’s room?

“Investing in a horse” doesn’t mean buying a horse and flipping it, Teddi is most likely looking to buy a young prospect, train it daily, show it, and sell it for big bucks. Long term project and very risky. Horses are fragile. They get hurt sick and moody when it counts ya never know, good decision on her part if she’s happy and busy already. Ride for fun Teddi! Love her with her y down to earth.

So EJ makes what 50 grand (I am being generous here) for her show and the glam squad travel designer clothing and back up dancers cost her like 100 grand ? She is so strange I cannot figure out what makes her tick. The closest I can come is she wants to be totally unapproachable as a defense mechanism for her insecurities .

Very generous.  She prob gets about 5K per show based on what I know we pay for acts people have actually heard of.  She isn't a serious act.  She is a kitschy act.  Which is fine.  If she gets more that is because the person hiring her didn't negotiate.  They also aren't paying for her entourage so that is on Erika.  At most they got comp tickets.

*we had one act that wanted about 17K, she accepted 3K

This was the best summation I could find...

Quote

As viewers saw on last week’s episode, Lisa was not happy upon seeing Faye at Kyle’s BBQ party. Several seasons earlier, Faye accused Lisa, who at the time was feuding with Kyle, of using Brandi Glanville to doing her dirty work and being a chess master. The accusation came during Lisa’s vow renewal/30th wedding anniversary, which Lisa obviously did not appreciate. At Kyle’s BBQ, Faye told Lisa that she was just defending her friend at the time. Lisa agreed to move forward. Yet, Lisa made clear in her interviews that she still did not like Faye, and wasn’t going to forget what she did.

I have to wonder if part of the reason I'd like The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick to join would be the difficult position it would put Kyle in...and Kyle is one of my favorites!  Why am I like this???

LVP disliked Faye because Faye called Brandi out for what she did to Adrienne.  Then Faye, at LVP's vow renewal, called Brandi out again and said she thought LVP stirred Brandi up.

Years later, Brandi agreed with Faye about LVP and LVP eventually realized Faye had done nothing to her and apologized.  Faye after the awful staged Kathryn dinner pretty much told Kyle she was done with going to production parties where she is the main course.

Three words; The Station Nightclub. In Feb. 2003, this Rhode Island nightclub let a band set off pyrotechnics which started a fire, and as a result, 100 people died, and 230 were injured. People's safety is not worth taking the risk to further inflate a performer's ego.

I am at a loss-I don't see what Dorit had surgically altered.  I see new hair color but she still has a less than small nose, her lips are pretty much the same, her eyebrows are tamed.  Dorit still has bags under her eyes.  See latest without make up photo:  http://people.com/style/real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-makeup-free-photos/

Dorit, is that you making this comment? That's the only explaination I can think of for it.

From what I was told by our Fire Marshal (who followed this very closely and has listened to survivors talk about it) the Fire Marshal responsible for NOT making sure that venue was safe killed himself that night.  Tragic and really has had a huge impact on my career.

I think Dorit has been surgically altered in some way but change of hair and weight loss can also make a huge difference.  But was that high school face we see in that pic the same one we see on the show?  I don't think so.

I like Teddy. I also think she's kind of slick and not as innocent and laid back and not into the drama as she claims to be.

Sometimes, she does come across as judgy.

I like her too.  Not LVP or Dorinda like, but enough to want her back to see how or if she plays the game next year.

This year, no one got on my last nerve.

I've gone from being meh about Ericka to liking her and tolerating Mikey.

Kyle lost points by reverting back to her early season self.

Dorit.  Eeee.  Yeah.  Last year I liked her. This year she was cringe worthy in almost every way.  Final judgement will be season 3.  Still don't mind PK.

Rinner.  Still getting massive side eye from me.  She was funny, but I still picked up a vile vibe, bubbling under the surface.

LVP still has my enduring loyalty and love.

And due to the fact that Mauricio has yet to walk around with a teeny tiny puppy in his shirt, Ken ended the season as number 1 HouseHusband.

Yes walnutqueen.  I know my place!  I can look, I just won't touch.  Unless the sister wives lifestyle isn't a deal breaker. ;)

The funniest scene in this episode for me was the cyclist almost running into Ericka. Because her whole outfit screamed "Look at ME!", and he didn't give her a backward glance. Lol. I really don't think I have come across a more insecure person in the HW franchises that I watch. (RHoOC, RHoBH and RHoNY). She is as fake on the inside as she is on the outside.

I laughed at Ericka trying so hard with her condom inspired outfit, and LisaR stole the show with hers. Less really is more sometimes.

My second fav scene was Dorito telling PK that he can expect a plane in his future. Does Dorito think that her swimwear line is going to be so successful that she will be able to buy a plane? Too funny.

Props to whatever poster (sorry I should have quoted you) said that the server at the restaurant looked like two out of the three Three Stooges. Best line of the thread.

The first time I saw that pic I would have agreed with you, but now that I've seen it a few times I actually think it does look very much like Dorit.  The hair is sooo different, and she's definitely much thinner, but other than that I think she looks the same.  Maybe a minor nose tweak :)

I don't see much difference and I am not Dorit.  Not a lot of these women share their high school year book photos.  People act as if she had a face transplant.  If I were DOrit I would invest in having my post child bearing breasts lifted.  I f she has truly decided not to have more children time to address the chest.  Dorit for all her faults has beautiful legs-which cannot be bought.

Dorit is that woman people look to who learns how to pose ad apply make up.

I really don't like when Erika talks about what it takes to be an artist. I'd much rather hear that from, you know, a real artist. Her "artistry" is limited to average singing, average dancing, and above average attention to a look. Don't bore me.

More like a bad stripper who is past her prime and still trying to be cool

Touch all you like, if LVP's cool with it.  I'm just in in for the animals (poor Ken would be lucky to get a cuddle a couple of times a year from me!)  ;-)

I've always wanted a wife, and a sister - it seems like it would be nice to share dog-walking duties, animal tending, and flower arranging with someone, and you seem like a decent sort.  heh.

I don't even remember them getting off the boat.

Sorry Teddy - but I'm still team Erika. You did call her a liar...and even though you apologized you then said to LVP in the car - that Erika lied

Erica was a full on witch to her since she met her,  and I believe Erica was lying at this point.

Unless Erica was purposely going for "aging drag queen who impersonates a mash-up of Britney (the costume), Madonna (the hair) & 70 year old Bette Davis (the face)", then she lost me with this particular latex "look".  While I think Erica has an amazing body and can literally wear anything, I think her glam squaT has been missing on the makeup all season.  In her TH's, or in scenes without the entire MAC counter at Sephora troweled on her face, Erica looks great.  Once Mikey and his makeup monkeys get involved and focus on dress up day at Barbie's Dream House, oh boy.

I still like Teddi.  I like her vibe, her kids, her husband. Unlike some folks, I don't find her "too cool for school" on this show.  IMO, she has self confidence and is self assured in a way that some of the other HW's can't attain.  I think she looks stunning whether she is dressed up or (especially) in casual mode.  She has lovely face.

Question about LVP's rescue center...she seems to have a lot of puppies there.  I would think they get homes very quickly....who doesn't love a wriggly little cutie pie puppy? Is that her "niche" for that center? Are there no older dogs in BH or the surrounding area that her center can help?

Since Dorit's fashion show will be full of too much dramatic sighing and breast heaving and ridiculous, vaguely fake-foreign, over-pronounced descriptions of her stress level,  I will record the final episode so I can just FF'd through it.  Plus, unless A LOT of changes were made since the initial look, I think most of her swim suits were ugly AF.  PK had better not plan to heavily on retirement based on the success of "Beverly Beach".  The only plane I see in your future is the Fisher Price model on the 'everything must go!' table at Toys R Us.

Because I haven't seen any shots showing kennels in the store where the puppies might otherwise live during the times the store is closed, I think Lisa's place is more like the pet stores that hold pop-up adoption events.

I foster for a local cat rescue organization, and we take our charges to once-a-week adoption events.  From experience, I know that when I have kittens I will be told to take my fosters to X location on adoption day.  But if I have, say 2 near-adult siblings, I will be told to take them to Y location.  It certainly could be that Lisa's place does best with puppies.  (Or they just staged it for production - is that cynical of me?)

The rescue organization I'm with is run by devoted, organized people who keep track of trends in their partner stores.  They learn demographics of adopters for each store, and using the web to advertise pets helps a lot too.  Some stores have the most success with little kittens. Some have more demand for a bit older kitten and cat.  People can arrange to come to a certain store to visit a pet they saw online (we fosters take the photos and write the personality descriptions).  Quite a bit of effort goes into placing pets in the right stores to get a good adoption turnover.

We also do a bit of feral cat management, and when the little ones have good personalities and can be adopted out of the colony, we get them there.  In fact, I just recently adopted one of my fosters who was born to a feral colony and is just the funniest cutest most affectionate little all-black clown (8 mos).  I think it's true - the all-black ones have a harder time getting adopted.

Here in California, in order to address shelter overcrowding/euthanization and to force out of business the "backyard breeders" who produce unhealthy and/or too many, it's the law now that pet stores can sell only animals from registered breeders or shelter rescues.  And rescue organizations get preference and a price break to take shelter animals.

I've personally seen so many successes I'm convinced it's the right direction.
