Well considering Haley isn't exactly is type I wouldn't say he's in love with her I like to think he's doing this for JJ and the show remembered these two used to be close.

This gets on my nerves as well. TPTBs are painting a picture of a woman being obligated to marry someone. It's as though they still live in the dark age. Sarah should tell Rex off. Attending to a self-assertive and clingy guy's need is not her responsibility.

She started off fine when she went off on Rex after the engagement party and dumped him afterwards etc. Of course we know these things wouldn't last. 

I find women more progressive on soaps in the 80s/90s than now. Sarah could've realized Rex  isn't the one and just stayed single then try to resist Xander's affections while she's living her best life. There's no point to this marriage especially since Rex is leaving soon. This doesn't add any real drama to this as much as the show likes to thing it would.

The Shelle/Claire stuff sounds pretty good and Hope is interacting with different characters since she's no longer the commissioner can it stay that way please?!

I do wonder where they're going with Jennifer/JJ/Haley vs Jack/Eve the immigration aspect is mercifully over but what's next as far as angst etc.

True I think one of the most disturbing moments in the last few years has been when they throw Nicole doing porn in her face.Nicole has done a lot of sh itty things but the fact they bring up and blame her for this when her father forced her into it ect instead of bringing up the actual bad deeds Nicole has done.I

don't get me started on how thresea was treated after pretty much being raped when she came back to town.

I think they treated Theresa's plight as an afterthought but its not as if Brady threw that in her face more than her suing for custody of Tate because Brady didn't want her anymore and was moving on with Eve. Plus its not as if Brady knew why she left she told him she didn't want to be a wife and mother anymore I mean yeah Brady is an idiot but its not as if he was given a reason to think she didn't want to ditch the family.  

I was more bothered by Eve's reaction though I figured she would've shown more compassion given her history. And Shane/Kim were like whatever to their daughter being a sex slave to a drug lord.

I mean this show has done a number on Shane/Kim off screen with Theresa/Eve/Paige's recent history.

However I also don't like Nicole's porn past being used against her. Everything else but that is fine though.

The writers were banking that since Kim and Shane have not been on the show since the 90's, the fans who are currently watching would not care about their character assassinations. They were dead wrong. Nothing about Theresa, Eve and Paige made sense.  They have never mentioned Andrew.

Hope is one of my all time faves but she's so unrecognizable now even if this happened I think I won't be that upset considering everything about Days is off the rails at this point.

I'm surprised Ken would allow such a thing and that they're using JJ's old storyline for Ben(I kind of expected the show to have JJ hook up with Melinda but I guess not).

Plus, this is Ron.  In his warped mind, he probably thinks this is a good thing.  He thinks this is going to help put the serial killer over even more.  Also, it involves characters I don’t care about.  So, bring it the hell on.

Wouldn't that be something?  I haven't seen Hope animated by anything or anyone in so long I've begun to think she's powered by batteries that are almost out of juice.  And while I like RSW, he's not exactly a bundle of energy, either.  It'll be like watching two kitchen appliances get it on.

But, the REAL pleasure will be watching all those heads exploding around town like a case of Pepsi that got all shook up.  Ciara, Julie, Jennifer, Eve, etc., it'll be like a Freddie Kreuger 4th of July!

I don't think Jennifer will be involved here she's barely had a reaction to Ben's return I doubt they'd gauge her reaction to this either.  This show has gone out of its way to neuter everyone's reaction to Ben. JJ seems to be a bit of an exception he still hates Ben and hasn't budged and is allowed to hate him (that's probably why they barely interact).

I think this Hope/Ben thing could be okay so long as they play it as a growing curiosity/attraction during which they try to deny their feelings and keep them from Ciara, only to fall into each other's arms during some crisis. Maybe they'll wind up at the Horton Cabin in a snowstorm or get locked up in the DiMeara mansion's catacombs or something. It helps that I loathe all three of these characters right now, lol.

I loved Marlena saying that was a stupid plan but seriously Doc --you are SOOOOO late to the "Claire is craxycakes" problem.  And Shawn & Belle -- you are absentee parents.  I appreciate Claire is an 'adult' but she really has never acted like one.  She's definitely acted like a soap-opera teen with no parental guidance.  If Eve has been picking up your collective slack, I'd say you all (Shawn, Belle, Marelena) have failed this problem child.

Ha. Exactly.   I wouldn't even mind Hope hooking up with her daughter's boyfriend.  It could work and I think Hope is the perfect choice for an older woman/younger guy storylind but a serial killer?  Hell naw.

But I was wondering if the rumored story that could get Ron fired might be related to Steve's return.  Weren't people on Twitter talking about how Steve and Kayla fans probably wouldn't like it...tho I'm not sure how they know.
