BTW, why do any of us believe that Phaedra has any power to slow down Kandi getting licensing for her restaurant?  Why, because Phaedra said she did? Just like she said she won the case against Angela S. Almighty Phaedra. A legend in her own mind.   According to Bobby Brown, everytime she was his lawyer, his ass went to jail.

I don't know if Pharisee Phaedra has the power to interrupt Kandi's business venture, but I wouldn't put it past her to try, just because that's the way she is. I don't imagine it being hard to make an anonymous tip to the authorities and cause them to investigate.

I dunno, Porsha is pretty dumb. She has sure changed a lot since her early pearl clutching, gay bashing, little wifey entrance to the Housewives Universe.

Gul your fellow posters in here trying to give Porsha credit for craftiness and you not having it.  Tambout, nah ya'll, she dumb.  I'm dying!!!!

I'm not gonna lie, when I was young I actually thought the Underground Railroad was a series of tunnels that ran underneath the US. I did, however, manage to realize that I was mistaken by the time I left elementary school.

exactly, a 35 year old woman who couldn't figure out something a 12 year old managed to suss out.

And this wasn't a girl who didn't have access to a better education about black history.

Oh Rosiejuliemom when I read this up top I was going to cop to the fact that I thought the same thing but when I was a kid.  Thank you for saying it first.  I am not alone.  Where we differ from Porsha, we learned exactly what Underground Railroad meant before we left elementary school.

LMAO....her stupidity is sad but my God that scene made me laugh until my belly hurt. When I was young, I also thought it was a series of tunnels underground, but I quickly learned otherwise. Considering that I'm not even American and I was able to learn this, and a grown ass black woman raise in the United States and a direct descendant of a civil rights activist did not know this....that's not only stupid, but it's pretty damn shameful. How the hell this fool thought the underground railroad was a train system underground? WTF....

I need a good laugh right now. I'm gonna youtube that scene right now, lol.

That moment jut has to be shared. Again and again. So that, in Porsha's own words, the youth of today never forget the stupidity of those that came before them. I mean, dang, I'm not American and even I know it wasn't an actual railroad.

LMAO, that clip will never not be hilarious.  How is it that every single one of those women knew what the underground railroad was, except the granddaughter of a civil rights leader?!?!??!!!!!

Everyone's TH was hilarious

What makes it even funnier is that prior to revealing that she has no clue what the underground railroad was, Porsha is busy pontificating.

Not just the talking heads. Check out Kenya's face at 00:58. Her reaction to Porsha is great.

WHILE it's being patiently explained, she says well one person actually built the whole thing, how did they get all that down there.

His deal with iTV was announced in November.

It's not particularly likely that Bravo would have let him continue to produce Atlanta and produce shows for iTV. In the UK, iTV airs some of the housewives shows. Here they would be competitors because Carlos King would be working with iTV America.

Gotta go with both.   With another company - totally verifiable.   Didn't say anything to Phaedra.   If he's as messy as rumored, neither one of em can be believed.   It strikes me as fairly dramatic that he'd even care to comment since nobody has his name in their mouth right now and he's gone.

I agree.  He's super messy.  So I certainly believe he said something stank about Todd and Kandi to Phaedra, especially if the 3 of them are on the outs now; however, I don't know if I believe he told her the drug/rape thing.  It seems more likely to me that Phaedra probably made something up to feed Porsha and used Carlos as an out knowing that he did say something to her, so him denying that he said anything would still technically be a lie.  But who the fuck knows!

I'm in the "he was already leaving so wasn't fired but still could have talked shit" camp. That said, this particular lie I call bullshit on, because think about it - who would have known about the encounter? Porsha didn't tell anybody, in fact she lied until Kandi brought it out. Phaedra never told Porsha that she was going to be drugged and raped, until after the whole "you wanted to $$%5 me until I $#%Q%" bomb as dropped. So where in this is anybody telling CARLOS KING of all people about Porsha and Kandi? Because you know if he had, it would have been out there. The only people who knew were keeping it to themselves, namely Porsha, Todd and Kandi. If not for the "in the closet" comment Kandi has no reason to say "hypocrite, what??" And Phaedra never brings up the drug/rape until after that "Yeah girl, I heard they were gonna drag you in their dungeon after that night."

Remember, unless they were all acting (and I don't think they're that good) even her besties Don and Carmen didn't know until she told and showd the post. So again, when, when was Carlos supposed to have dropped this bag into Phaedra's teacup?

Thank you so very much for bringing these bones!

No, girl. They weren't throwing those rocks at you when you were 6, they were returning them to you, they were dropping out of your head as you marched by.

According to Phaedra she presented the "producers told me" line of defense.  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4498174/Phaedra-Parks-blames-RHOA-producers-date-rape-rumor.html  Here is what I don't get, Phaedra is now claiming Porsha should have been smart enough not to believe the drug/rape story about Kandi, so why would she have not been smart enough to believe the rumors as false? It doesn't excuse Phaedra as she changed the entire tenor of the rumor, once she said Kandi told her.  According to Porsha she told her three times Kandi told her.

Now there is more her children are being threatened.  Phaedra and her young'uns are victims.  This is reminiscent of the guy who wanted to "blow Phaedra the fuck up".  First she was scared to death and her parents hired her bodyguards, then it was the lawful occupants of the building where he presented all sorts of crazy racial profiling the man. I call horsefeathers.  Who has access to threaten the children?  The kids are maybe 6 and 4 years old?  She is complaining about some fan filing a complaint with the state bar association.  Phaedra might want to study up on civil conspiracy if she is going to try and blame it on the producers.  Although she claims the producers didn't make her say it.  I was wondering why Andy and Kandi kept asking Phaedra why she didn't say something at this point or that point (renunciation), all Phaedra has managed to do is make a case for Kandi against her and idiot Porsha.  Production is towing the line they did not create this storyline for Phaedra.

Carlos King the former RHOA, is taking bows for a great season.  So he is apparently not too worried about Phaedra's comments:

This has always been the issue with Phaedra. She may have been smart enough to finish law school, pass the bar, and angle her way on to this show, but her petty venal stupidity always wins out. She doesn't get the irony of saying that Porsha who never finished college should have been more capable than the attorney to figure out that the drugging and raping story was bullshit.

Of course Phaedra is only concerned about the impact of her words on the lives of children when it impacts her children. Where was that concern when she was saying this vile shit that could impact Kandi's kids? An armed man walks into a DC pizza place trying to rescue some child sex slaves because of Internet foolishness and it never dawns on Phaedra the kind of repercussions that might result from her slander and gossip. She is completely detestable.

I finally got to watch, and it didn't disappoint. Still, I'm ready for less serious drama, though it will be hard to get invested in anything petty after this.

It was dragged out much too long though. Bravo should be ashamed, but we know that's not possible. I'm slowly weaning myself off all the RH shows; over-promising and under-delivering. The 4th part was ok, but it wasn't worth 4 weeks of my life I won't get back. It was the same with RHBH when Rinna skated for the most part; actually eliciting sympathy due to a toy being returned to her from Kim. What a victim she always seems to be. I thought she should be history along with Phaektra on RHOA. ...

Ya'll are taking me back to a time when this show was dumb and fun.  I miss those days.  The Savannah trip was awesome...we had Kenya and Porsha bonding, Phaedra and Kandi running after hurses, and all the women coming together to make a good 'ole' southern home cooked meal.  I miss that show.

Esp. if Nene & Kim are dragged back into the mess! I didn't miss them! People who think the "whole scene" is about them is not worth it for me! They're loud, profane, & classless! I was put on notice as a very young child to use "an indoor voice, listen sometime, etc.!" These broads are incapable of that which is why Kim "storms in on her broom," then cuts out before her red Dixie cup goes empty! I wish I knew what & where Kroy "buys" his patience to put up with her relentless BS? ...

I don't care if a third grader wrote it, I loved every word! I believe her too. It all sounds exactly like how Phaedra would set up a criminal scheme so that she wouldn't get caught. I hope that one day, she has to pay for her crimes against innocent hard-working people.

When the reunion first aired, everyone and their brother was hitting it on Amazon. I'm pretty sure sales were busy that week.

I devoured that sumbitch. I honestly didn't care how well-written it was, I just wanted the delicious gossip. I'm not sure if I believe absolutely everything she says, but I do believe that Phaedra was involved.

I also bought Sheree's novel to read after I finish We Need to Talk About Kevin.

When Angela has spoken in interviews she is very direct and speaks without bitterness or desperation. Her eyes connect with the camera and interviewers with confidence. She also has facts, details, and dates. She has a clarity and candor to her tone.

Yet, as others have mentioned she is not polished at all as a writer or speaker. This leads me to believe her words aren't contrived, that she's being honest. I have a couple felons in my family, sad to say, so I've seen them when they've lied or wanted sympathy....or when they knew what fuckups they did and the how and why and let it be known plainly. Angela comes across as category 2.
