I have had a kinda traumatic week (my sweet 6yr old cat went missing for a few days until I found her under my bed, she had died) and have been trying to catch up on this thread and I finally made it, but my thoughts are everywhere  so I'll try to keep it coherent.

i am in awe, when this series started I was mostly neutral on all 4 girls, over time I have fluctuated , at the beginning of this season I would have said Maci is "meh" I don't buy her miracle birth stories.., but I don't have much to say about her otherwise, I was pulling for Amber post prison, but with Matt on the scene have given up hope on her, and thankful that though I previously considered Gary a lump of nothing, he has evolved into a great parent for Leah. Cate has been steadily working towards being the one I despise which is a surprise, because Farrah has had a pretty good grasp on that title... so I am shocked to say that the other 3 came from behind (no porn pun intended) and have not only made me absolutely dislike all 3 of them, but made me marginally like Farrah.  

Im so over this "she did porn" witch hunt, we are all aware of the tapes, move on.  It's not a choice I would make for myself for many reasons... but who cares if someone else does, it's not illegal. The sanctimonious 3 keep crying and screaming that they don't want to be represented by people linking teen mom to the porn tapes... but they are the ones who keep bringing it into the conversation, the general public doesn't care anymore. 

My thoughts on Matt... can Amber even take a shit without him near!? They are literally always together, even in the parasitic Cate and Tyler relationship they are filmed separately, but there hasn't been a scene with just Amber from the moment he showed up. I know they broke the 4th wall, but Matt and Amber barely even talk to each other, they are always talking to the producers/cameramen.

the backstage Sophia outrage: I guess was I kinda get that even the normal conversations on the reunion maybe are a little adult for the kids, but I don't think it makes Farrah a bad mom (well for this reason anyway) that Sophia was there, how was Farrah supposed to know they were going to storm the stage... why wouldn't Sophia be there.

I said this when the news broke of the reunion walkout... way to "stand up" at the end...if they were really mad and wanted to negotiate something they should have stood up *before* MTV had enough footage for a 2 part reunion special, that was the most pathetic half hearted walk out I have ever witnessed.

I finally watched the reunion in its entirety. I had a flashback to the high school, wait, nope middle school lunch room. (honestly my 13 year old said it reminded him of a fight that started between two girls in 7th grade)  Farrah stirring the pot, Amber reacting irrationally and Matt doing what he "thinks" he is suppose to do to stand up for his meal ticket. The thought bubble is almost obvious above his head. Then the mean girls at table 2 decide to take a stand and "walk off" which really accomplished nothing. (and they came back!) 

I hate that they so harshly judge each other. They all made the same choice to be on this show. 

I feel so sorry for Michael. He didn't deserve that.  Though Farrah certainly knows how to create drama and stand back and watch the fall out!

I think my wife is a great mom (none of us are perfect parents), but when the subject of how great a mom she is comes up, it's never "Please quantify and validate my greatness." It's "I hope I'm doing what's best for them" or "I feel like a shitty mom for not allowing (10 year old daughter) to borrow my lip gloss" or "Yeah, I had a glass of wine at dinner, I guess I'm the world's shittiest mom." Good moms strive to be good moms, they don't insist that they are, because the quality of your parenting will only matter to ONE PERSON on earth: the person you're parenting. I've never been wowed by Maci's mothering.  She's Okay-ish, a best.  Not many GreatMothers spend the first few months of their infant's life binge drinking or the first weeks/months? of pregnancy consuming alcohol as well. I agree that it's true of real celebrities, but not these Z list chucklefucks. Catelynn, Tyler, Amber and Matt don't have anything better to do with their time than read tweets and respond to them. So.... either they knew what was about to go down and had someone take Nova out or Nova was still there. And Cate can take a fucking seat with saying Farrah is a bad mom for having Sophia there because it's horseshit and because Cate was running around calling Sophia's mom a trashy bitch where Sophia could hear. His home health nurse (aka girlfriend) probably told him NOT to stand up, as it wasn't safe. They probably had her come out there partially to be able to escort him off when they were done.

I was thinking the same thing about catelynn knowing something was going to go down and not having Nova around. Also, Cate and Maci are adults, they could have noted that there was a young child in the vacinity and either ushered her away so she wouldn't have to witness this (the moms on dance moms do this a lot)... or maybe just not acted like fools calling her mom a trashy bitch repeatedly. It feels so surreal to be on Farrah's side of an argument, it makes me uncomfortable.

When the news originally broke about the brawl, and it was reported Amber and Matt were the ones escorted off by security, and she was going online saying that we would see what happened etc, I figured there was something fishy about her side of the story because it seemed pretty clear she and Matt were the aggressive ones... so I'm not surprised that now it's faulty editing...although it's pretty clear that she came charging out so I don't know how that would have been edited.  Sure maybe Farrah/Simon could not have said anything about Matt... but Amber did talk about Farrah uninterrupted so she doesn't have much room to be angry.

oh and thanks for all the thoughts about my cat... I never thought I would be that person who was devastated over a pet...but surprise I am. (There is nothing wrong with being devastated, I just generally stay calm/levelheaded and don't get extremely emotional over anything). It was extremely unexpected, when I hadn't seen her I didn't even consider death.

I agree.  Her fame helps the business and gets orders in her inbox, but I've still seem her working pretty hard to make sure it is successful.  She also does a heck of a lot of work with the nuts and bolts of the business.  She doesn't run a business in name only.
