Second what do you mean by "all students equally"? You want some parents who are pro NRA to "use their kids" to push your agenda? And Derick, putting a young child in an anti-pro choice shirt is awful. Either you're "using them" or you're explaining to them your views, in what I would guess in a scary and horrid way. Nothing right about either of those scenarios. And in case you didn't hear me the first time - Fuck-you Derick. Ooooohhh, I love it when you get feisty! And you certainly have good reason. I'm glad you mentioned the thing about those little kids wearing those t-shirts, in particular. How do you explain to a child what Roe v. Wade stands for or what an abortion is? I don't want to think about it. I guess the best that can be hoped for is that the kids got no explanation at all and their parents just popped them into their little t-shirts to exploit them in furtherance of their political/moral agenda. Just like Derrick claims is being done with Jazz. But since the parents are on the right side of the issue, it's okay. Obviously, it's the epitome of a hypocritical double standard. Some people were pointing this out on his twatter but he hadn't responded last time I looked. I'm guessing he is taking time to craft the perfect non-answer to intentionally leave everyone baffled like he always does. The little chicken shit. Did a women, blind and deaf most likely, flirt with the American male? Did the women there wear too much NIKE wear and it led to Derrick not getting Jeramy's speech on masturbation? Thus making Jill even more insecure? And I can totally see both Jill and Jim Bob, telling Derrick that he can't work for the man at Walmart and we've seen the webpage of walmart customers and the way they dressed so Jill was probably terrified about what her husband would see there. I know, there's been a few times I wanted brain bleach from what I've seen in a walmart - thank Merlin they now do 2 day shipping. I've never understood the widespread theory that Jill was being this desperately clingy wife who showed up with Derrick's lunch everyday and contributed to making Wal-Mart fire him. Is it that big of a deal? What's the harm? Does she perch on the edge of his desk and get in the way? Or hand out bible tracts in the employee lunchroom and piss people off? And do we know the reason she went there every day was because she was lonely and it was all based on her neediness and not on Derrick's? I could see her constant presence being seen as weird or a little awkward by the other employees but not really something that might contribute to Derrick actually losing his job. I mean, who cares if he eats lunch with his wife? Of course it's possible that Derrick just sucked at his job and was a bad all around employee. Maybe her presence was what put it over the edge, I dunno. I guess I have just worked alongside too many horrible, unprofessional, incompetent people who managed to keep their jobs to think something like your wife showing up for some leftover ham salad can really be the straw that broke the camel's back. I think what it boils down to is if Derrick had been a good employee, they would have kept him and put up with Jill or at least had him put a stop to her showing up every day. The ultimate reason he was (probably) fired was because of his own poor job performance. I can't see Jill having been that big of a factor. And for all anyone knows, Jill showed up every day because she knew Derrick was absolutely miserable at his job and she was trying to provide some kind of support to him. Because if he didn't like her coming there or it was some kind of problem for the company, he would have put a stop to it. He apparently never did. It seems just as possible that her showing up at Walmart every day was as much his idea as it was hers, and not just something Jill did because she was lonely. bigskygirl March 3, 2018 Share March 3, 2018 If Jill showing up every freaking day he was at work started affecting his work performance, you bet it his boss would have said something about it. I have worked in places where spouses, family or friends constantly showing up affected certain employee's work performance to the point their fellow co-workers were not happy about it. I am sure Derick's co-workers thought it was interesting at first Jill showed up everyday, but after awhile they were not too amused about it anymore especially if they had to pick the slack because he was spending too much time trying to appease Jill because she was lonely. I know women who would call their boyfriend or husband's place of work because they were checking up on him to make sure he was not cheating. I even know one woman who actually called his house, the place he worked at, and a few of his co-workers at home because he was not at work one night. I often wonder if Derick did not think too much about it at first or actually thought it was sweet she was showing up every work day or had to drive him back and forth to work, and after awhile thought she was being a little too clingy. She and JB also were probably pushing him to quit which could have lead to poor work habits on his part. I think it was a Jill being Miss Cling Along, JB and Jill pushing him to quit his job, his lousy work habits, not being happy about his marriage and his life, and being a total ass lead to him getting the axe because I do not believe he just decided to quit one day. Celia Rubenstein March 3, 2018 Share March 3, 2018 ... I thought the story was that she just came in and brought him his lunch. I don't know for sure that she necessarily even sat with him while he ate. I'm not entirely sure why anyone he worked with would care either way, really. I admit I'm envisioning a big impersonal lunch room where her presence just wouldn't make that big of a difference, but who knows. Maybe Walmart does seat assignments for dinner like they do on a cruise ship and people got tired of having to shoehorn Jill in at their table, lol. Seriously, though ...I've never heard anything about her making a bunch of phone calls during the day that impacted his job performance or annoyed his coworkers. And there is zero evidence Jill ever called Derrick's co-workers at home to check up on him. That hasn't even been rumored as far as I know. I don't deny her calling him at work is a possibility. But just like her showing up with lunch every day, it would have been easy enough for Derrick to put a stop to - - if he wanted to, that is. 7 Link to comment
bigskygirl March 3, 2018 Share March 3, 2018 I thought I saw a few pictures of them eating in the car at lunch time. I think she even had a few of her siblings go with her when she went to pick him up. I would not be surprised if she did call him at work because she missed him, but I bet she thought some of his female co-workers had the hots for him. I for one could not picture any of them thinking he was attractive, but I am sure Jill has been drilled into believing any female could have the secret hots for Derick. She did not want him working for someone else, so I would be surprised if she was plotting to get him fired. I think he humor her at the beginning about having lunch everyday with him while he was at work to keep the peace, and the fact she was pregnant because he did not want an unhappy Jill. It might have pleased his ego at first, but I would not be surprised if he started hating it after awhile especially if she was bringing one or more siblings with her at lunch time or taking him back and forth to work. She probably even sat outside the bathroom at home when he was in there because she was so lonely and clingly. Link to comment

Vaysh March 3, 2018 Share March 3, 2018 I always thought Derrick leaving Walmart had more to do with him taking leaves of absence all the time for the purpose of his wedding and honeymoon, then filming, other people's weddings, more filming etc. I remember it being discussed that new employees would normally not be able to take so much time off in their first year and that his collegues and supervisors might have had to pick up his slack quite a bit because of it. It might also have kept him from developing the skills needed for the job, if he wasn't there as much as he should have, Also, there was a post elsewhere supposedly made by a fellow Walmart employee, claiming that Derrick apparently had some issues working with female collegues and supervisors (no idea if this was legit, but as a newly incorporated Duggar I think Derrick enthusiastically adopted a lot of their beliefs in the beginning, so I don't find it unlikely) which would also make him a problematic employee. Add an over-enthusiastic wife keeping him from bonding with his fellow workers and I could see how Derrick could have been both unpopular enough and unproductive to the point where management figured he wasn't worth the hassle and just dropped him. 21 Link to comment

Yeah, Jill bringing him lunch every day in addition to driving him to and from work AND using the company gym was likely her desire and idea and something they probably both enjoyed considering they didn't get to spend time together before getting married. Jill's on the record on being desperate for dick marriage long before meeting Derick so was super enthusiastic to spend as much time as possible with her new husband; and awkward follower-who-desperately-wants-to-be-a-leader dork Derick was probably thrilled to be worshipped by a fundie princess. Derick's an asshole, but in the context of his married life and maybe even his in-person interactions in general? I highly doubt he has it in him to be all that forceful. That's why he's on twitter all the time...it's much easier to sound "commanding" behind a screen. No way could he say what he tweets to people's faces. He is, at heart, a coward using patriarchy to make him feel strong. I'm inclined to think that he's actually quite sweet to Jill--they're on the same page on everything, anyway. 6 Link to comment
cmr2014 March 3, 2018 Share March 3, 2018 At my current job, one of my colleagues is being walked through the steps required for firing (one-on-one counseling regarding job requirements, documentation of issues, etc.). It's a time consuming process, and one of the things that I noticed is that there has been no improvement in my colleague's performance. If anything, he's become less productive, and he spends a lot of time making very public excuses for himself that involve blaming other people for his problems. It's possible that the woman who posted about Derick's behavior at WalMart was experiencing something like this. My colleague comes from a culture that is not particularly respectful toward women, but I've only had issues with him recently when he has displayed open contempt for me when I've tried to help him. It may be that once it became clear to Derick that he was being pushed out of Wal-Mart that he started flailing around for excused about why it was someone else's fault and women are always a popular target . . . 13 Link to comment

I went to a creation museum once and it had a case of fossils the pre-dated whatever date they decided Adam and Eve were created. The exhibit actually said something to the ilk that !SATAN! made these fossils carbon date to before Adam and Eve. Jilly Insta: "Where has time gone, my baby is so big!" First, cute Jilly/izzy shot. 2nd: Hon, your baby was ginormous and 2-yearr old looking at 3 months! Tea out the nose! I am very jelly you went to a creation museum. I think it would be quite entertaining! On 3/1/2018 at 9:40 AM, cdp73 said: I'm beginning to wonder if part of his problem is jealousy. The new season of Counting On is about to start without him and he's upset that other members of the family are still getting paid. Maybe he's trying to sabotage the entire clan.* *Yes, I realize he's probably not smart enough to do this and his Tweets are probably just whatever thought crosses his mind at the moment. Nah, you may be onto something. He has to get attention somehow and the show used to feed his ego. Now he has been taken out like the contents of my cats dirty litterbox its driving him crazy. No one is putting Baby in the corner! 2 Link to comment

Unless Jimboob stopped Michelle from aborting any of those kids they survived nothing. Well some survived an abusive brother. How about a shirt for that? Oh and Michelle apparently has survived Jimboobs halitosis. I am beginning to wonder if he is jealous that Jazz had the guts and family support to live her true life? I mean really, why would this loser bother with Jazz all the effin time? Dickweed, should you decide to live your life being true to yourself we promise we won't judge you. Jazz may even be able to hook you up with some good doctors. He bothers with Jazz for the same reason that many of the nation's other politically and theologically conservative fundies and evangelicals, especially the leadership, bring transsexuals into pretty much every conversation. By their lights, the American Christian community must fight a win-or-die "war against transsexuals" or see this country's morality finally crater to absolutely nothing. It's the number one priority of most of these very conservative Christian leaders. I've spoken with conservative Christian law-school professors, among others, who speak of all this in exactly the same terms as Derick. They see fighting the phenomenon that brought us Jazz as a bitter war that they must wage against Satan to save humanity. They see it as the crusade of this generation. And they promote it. This doesn't have to be some psychological quirk or personal obsessions of Derick's -- although it might be that, too. He's following -- to a letter -- the revered leaders of his religious community. The stuff he says is word for word what they say. 13 Link to comment
Lunera March 4, 2018 Share March 4, 2018 I scrolled back through Jill's Instagram and geesh... I'd get sick of her shit real quick. Her whole damn day revolved around Derick. Driving him to work, making him lunch, eating lunch with him at work, preparing dinner, picking him up from work. He probably couldn't even say no to her because she start crying or get suspicious. Of course, after the baby came that all stopped when Derick quit. 21 Link to comment
kalamac March 4, 2018 Share March 4, 2018 If Eve really was created from Adam's rib as the bible states, she would have been 100% genetically identical to him, including the sex chromosomes, making her the world's first trans women. You'd think Christians would support trans people, and gender confirmation treatments as following God's path of helping people be who they need to be. 12 Link to comment

Jynnan tonnix March 4, 2018 Share March 4, 2018 I had forgotten how much better Dreck looked before his jaw surgery. Even aside from his teeth being off center now, they look so huge and wide and out of proportion to the rest of his face. Granted I always tend to find narrow bites more attractive than wide ones, but his teeth look positively grotesque to me now. Plus he actually looked happy and reasonably pleasant back then. 12 Link to comment
