Adam: "because I had to do this."  Yeah, the weight lifting "competition" in someone's garage converted into gym space is more important than Aubree.

Watching Leah read that text was painful.

Jesus.  She can barely read and you can just see the wheels slowly turning in her head, trying to figure out what Miranda even is saying and why she is upset.  That clip was short but I'm sure the rest of it will show her confused and not understanding what the problem is because she is so fucking stupid.

Can anyone catch a clear screen grab of Miranda's text message?

No screeenshot, but the Inquisitor transcribed it:

“Hey, Corey was talking to me about you all’s discussion about the girls. I rarely have her carry her own backpack and if I do it is because I have to carry Remi in and other stuff,” Simms explained in her text. “I do care for them and try to give them the best life when they are here but it really bothers be that you are claiming you have some sort of sneaky video of because I have absolutely nothing to hide.”

Kind of ambiguous to me. Sounds like Miranda is saying she does at times expect Ali to carry her own backpack when Miranda's hands are full. She does not say she told Ali she would carry it in later.

Also in the clip: Leah whining to Kayla

“I want to save them. I want to make them feel better, I want to rescue them and I can’t. There’s nothing I can do and they’re my kids,” Leah Messer fumed.

I know some things you can do Leah! Please, pick me, pick me, I know the answer! Um, you can be sober and awake for a day, you can feed them actual meals and fruits and veggies, you can comb their hair and watch them instead of locking yourself in a room to cry about your life, and oooh, here's a good one- get that damn wheelchair in use and don't let your psycho daughters play on it and break it. (Not saying Corey isn't also responsible for this, but Leah is the one who is asking what she can do to "rescue" them.

I won't be watching this episode. I'm already fuming at what a hypocrite bitch Leah is.

It is a kindergartners backpack. It doesn't have jack shit in it besides a few folders with papers in them.

Leah lets her play softball and doesn't use the wheelchair. I am sure both of those are more strenuous than carrying a 3 pound sack 25 feet into the house. Also what does she do at school?

If Lead really gave a shit, she would be using that wheelchair. Not letting her play softball. And buy a backpack with wheels.

Yeah I'm not understanding how she is able to play tee ball but not carry the bag.

@ClassyCourtHeels Supposedly she uses her wheelchair at school, so she'd just hang it on her chair there, not carry it. 3 pounds could be heavy for a girl with muscular dystrophy who weighs so little. But they could be lying about her using the chair at school. Wouldn't be surprised by anything at this point.

I can't deal with the "medical woes" storyline. Might have to skip those segments.

I'm not even sure why Jenelle is still on the show when it's supposed to be about being a young mom. Her storyline has always consisted of 1. drama she brings upon herself and 2. engagements to awful boyfriends. She's had pretty much nothing to do with raising Jace, who is the reason she's on the show in the first place, and we rarely see her spending any quality time with Kaiser, or doing anything with him that isn't lugging him from highchair to playpen to crib. And now we're watching her explore NYC with David Gump to find pillses a cure for restless leg syndrome? Girl bye.

  • Love 20

Hmmmm. It sounds like Miranda did make Ali carry the backpack. If she'd told Ali she would bring it in later, I think she would've mentioned that in the text. Not sure how I feel about that.

Adam is such a dick. He can make Aubree sit and watch his lame ass powelifting meet but he can't take a couple of hours to bring her to a dance. Because roids and trophies are what really matters in life.

  • Love 5

All this TV money and neither Corey nor Leah thought they should get a van capable of transporting wheel chair to and from school so Ali can use it as directed by world renown specialist? I can understand why Miranda wouldn't think the backpack is a big deal when Corey and Leah barely do not do anything they are supposed to be doing to support Ali medically and what they do do (he he) is never consistent. If Corey and Leah are going to pick and choose then I can see why Miranda does as well - especially if she hasn't been privy to all the conversations with the doctor. Maybe if she was she might wap Corey upside the head and take it seriously, but she could also have the same mind-set they do regards to "knowing best". I think all three are in for a world of hurt as Ali's condition worsens and of course - it will be Ali and the other girlses that suffer the most for it.

  • Love 13

I believe all of Ali's parents are in denial about the implications of her condition. I don't think they want to believe that she needs to use that wheelchair and be helped with things all the time, because while she's running around playing softball and carrying her own stuff and climbing stairs to get to bed every night, they can kid themselves that it's not as serious as all that. It's understandable that they have difficulty accepting their daughter's limitations, but it's also selfish as hell that they're choosing to ignore them and harming her future health in the process.

It drove me nuts on the Aftershow when Leah was all "My baby might not make it to 25. How dare Miranda make her carry the backpack" and then in the next breath mentioning tee ball. Of course Miranda should help Ali with her backpack, but Leah and Corey letting Ali play tee ball and not listening to the doctor about the wheelchair are much much bigger issues IMO.

thank you. I said this on the other thread. it's not like me running around with 4 books and other shit when I was going to college. The backpack shouldn't have that much in it.

And I am no mean saying she should carry it, just that it shouldn't be that heavy or have much of anything in it. When my daughter was in Kindergarten, they brought their folders home and that's it. All books were left at school in their desk and they never had homework, so what could be in there. Gracie could have drug it in the house for her.

neatoburrito, love David Gump name. And Jenelle is in for a rude awakening, there is no cure for restless legs and most doctors don't understand it. It is very hard to explain. My mom went for years telling the doctors about her 'crazy legs' and none understood. You legs are so crazy they make you miserable and not where you can't walk, Jenelle. She just looked up a bunch of shit and said she had it all but then was out bowling and all dolled up on her Instagram. I loved the comment someone put on her Feb 8th picture about her trip. Wish someone from here would fess up that it was them. The comment was awesome.

I agree. Was Miranda, likely preoccupied trying to lug her baby (who, born prematurely, may still be at increased risk for infections and therefore needs to have limited exposure to germs) and all the things she absolutely needed to get into the house, less than sensitive about informing Ali that she couldn't help her at the moment, but would come back out for it later? Has she, at some point in the last 4 years that she's known the girls, shown some frustration with the girls or at any time acted less than perfect? Most definitely. But like, show me a parent or stepparent who hasn't. Miranda never claimed to be perfect, unlike a certain pill popping Princess of Entitlement and Delusion who won't even admit she's wrong when confronted with documented evidence of her failings.

Looong time lurker, first time poster on this site.  And may I say how much I love you all and how it validates my feelings that it's perfectly okay to have a quiet, private life.

Now, onto my thoughts, which echo most of everyone else's.

Chelsea - there's something about her and Cole's relationship that I can't quite put my finger on.  He seems like a nice enough guy, but they don't quite seem like a "match", if that makes any sense.  And please, for the love of all that is decent on this Earth, stop with the baby voice.  And stop bashing Adumb in front of his daughter by pushing Cole to step up to that responsibility.  That shit's not gonna fly too well as Aubree gets older who, btw, looked positively radiant for her dance!

Leah - as a previous poster stated:  "suddenly she understands the implications of her daughter's disorder when she can blame Miranda for it."  That's exactly it.  What next, a shocking video showing Miranda handing Ali a can of frosting for a snack?

Kail - boring.  I'm bored already with that repetitive story line.  So bored.  My brother and I have more passion in our conversations (albeit random texts) than she does with Javi.

Jenelle - this one makes me want to cry so much, although I'm not quite certain why.  Or for whom.  But I am a blubbering tender-heart with a strong bias for children.

My own struggles with infertility and my son's stillbirth make me want to love and hug Jace and Kaiser because they're innocent.  They are just so goddamned innocent in all of this.  Yet they are subjected to the very life that Jenelle most likely had growing up with Baahbra.  And I can't stand how much they are neglected, ignored, unloved, emotionally abused ... but they know no other way.  Much like Jenelle knows no other way.  As long as some dick is around to validate her feelings and actions, Jenelle will forever associate that behavior with love.  As soon as said dick challenges her, he's gone and she moves onto the next enabler who'll validate her feelings and actions.  And seriously, sometimes I want to hug Jenelle even though she'd start an argument with me (sigh).  I can't even begin to imagine how much emotional damage a therapist would have to sift through to get to her core personality.

So as long as Jace and Roll (poor kids) are in their current living situations, they'll never know what it's like to be loved, to be hugged with the fierce protection only a parent can provide, to have their tears wiped away by a caring Mommy.  A Mommy is supposed to be a child's safe landing place.  Where  and when will they EVER have that?  Gawd, Jenelle's story line shatters my heart into so many pieces, and it makes me angry and sad all at the same time.  I wonder if anyone reads either of them a bedtime story?  I wonder if anyone bakes brownies with Jace?  I wonder if anyone sings the Roll to sleep instead of just tossing him into a crib whenever he cries?  Jeezis.  I hope that somehow, in some way, they'll know that feeling of being a child.

They're two perfectly nice people, but I agree they don't click. It reminds me of the Tom Cruise/Renee Zellweger relationship from Jerry Maguire where Jerry was more attached to the stepkid than he was the mother. Aside from Aubree and Adam, I don't think they have anything to talk about.

Dude, it's Spring Break. It's like the Ke$ha of holidays. She can't miss that, restless leg syndrome or no. Speaking of, what a crazy bitch. Her storyline each week has zero to negative cohesion. Her stupidity and delusion would be much more entertaining if her kids and Mother didn't suffer from her idiotic hijinks.

I am still in awe til this day that Jenelle told Dustin with a straight face that she could not turn herself in because she had to go to a Kesha concert. Lol Then proceeded to explain the importance of Kesha to him.  Like how delusional do you have to be!

  • Love 16

I am so sick of backpackgate. No kindergarten backpack weighs so much that a child cannot carry it. Ali probably had SOMETHING ELSE in her hand to carry such as a treat or toy, and did not want to bother carrying her backpack.

Leah should have been concerned when Adderrall was being smothered by that backpack in her SUV last season. Didn't Leah get upset at the haters for implying she ignored her child as she struggled in the backseat from all the shit that was falling around her? How dare the viewers point that out to her!!! But, it is ok for Leah to hate on Miranda for something Ali claimed. This is the same child Leah called out as a lying liar for saying they are always late for school when Leah takes them.

Of course Adam had something more important to do than to take his daughter to a dance. Ha! Someone tell me how that is Chelsea's fault again? Better yet, tell me that Chelsea lied or did not text Adam. smdh

  • Love 15

@GreatKazu, you'd think so, since I'd assume a kindergarten backpack would be very light, but Miranda seems to imply in the preview that she usually has to help her carry it, so something must be in there. I see no reason to assume Ali is lying or lazy, and she is very physically weak and falls often. Miranda's note actually supports what Ali said.

A simple routine change would fix that minor issue. One simple little conversation. But noooo it has to be an MTV worthy drama.

Dude, it's why I have these feathers in my hair!!!

The best part was that Lawyer Dustin was probably legitimately wondering when she came in, "what the fuck, are those feathers in her hair? Did she get attacked by a hawk?" and then she gave him the explanation, certainly leading him to think "What the hell is she talking abouit?" A true seminal moment in the Teen Mom pantheon.

"Adam is such a douche. Aubree was cheering him on so adorably and was so proud of him and he barely acknowledges her. Why is he spending the time he has with both his daughters at a dirty ass gym? That Dollar Store trophy he got for "first place" must be more important to him than QT."

Aubree absolutely adores him despite everything. She's at an age where she probably doesn't realize yet that she should be expecting more from her own father than hanging out in some ratty ass gym. I think Chelsea has to bite her tongue as it is to not talk more shit about Adam.

To those thinking Chelsea's shit-talking would negatively impact Aubree's perception of her dad... My dad shares a lot of the same qualities with Adam, and I didn't realize until I got married and he didn't come to the wedding what a terrible father he was. So the delusion runs deep in father/daughter relationships and it may be a long time before Aubree picks up on it.

  • Love 10

I feel badly for both Aubree and Paislee in the gym scene from the previews. For Adumb to spend the precious little time he does have with them lifting weights in a stinky gym full of sweaty men is the height of stupidity. There was nothing for the girls to play with, no toys or coloring books to keep them occupied, they just had to sit there and be his little fan club. He should be spending his time taking the girls to the park, the zoo, buying them ice cream or doing fun activities with them that THEY enjoy, not the other way around. In every episode, he just proves more and more what a truly rotten father he is. It's not about you, moron!

In one of Jenelle's recent twitters she says she wants to point out she did everything for Jace's derby that she could do. Yeah, except be there, which is the most important thing. The way she treats Jace truly disgusts me. But it's nothing new really. The times Barb has really needed her to be there for Jace (like the soapbox derby in this case) Jenelle finds an excuse. Plans can be changed, hotel rooms can be rebooked, but she'll never get back the time she's missing out on her son's life.

I still can't get the previews to work on the MTV site and it's driving me nuts.

It sounds like the scene of Aubree and Paislee at the gym will just make me mad anyway.  In one episode where Adumb has Paislee at the gym she's shown playing on equipment by herself and I always cringe at thought of how dangerous that must be.  That poor kid make me sad.  She's such a mess when Adumb has her that she could easily pass for Leah's fourth daughter.

He's douchey for sure, but is Adam taking his kids to his workplace really that much different from a musician taking theirs to the studio, or an actor to a set, a landscaper to one of their properties, etc. etc? He is proud of what he does (regardless of what we may think) and is sharing that with his daughters. Sure, they might well be bored, as are many kids when their parents bring them to their workplaces. I can definitely picture Chelsea bringing Aubree with her to the salon/spa one day, and having her observe while she talks to her clients in a baby voice.

Except Adam has supervised visits. He is not supposed to have Aubree anywhere without his parents being there.

Didn't we also see Ali riding in the car and getting hit in the head/face with a backpack that fell from a pile of shit in the car?  I would say that's worse than carrying the backpack.  Getting smashed in the fucking face with it.
