Gam2 said it perfectly.  Katie was all hot and bothered and scared that somebody was going to see her passionately making out with Wyatt. Next, she's standing there, hands firmly planted on hips in judgment, giving the sanctimonious staredown to Maya and Zende.  Now I am kind of embarrassed for getting so hot and bothered myself over a spoiler.  The Zaya hug and the buss of gratitude on Zende's cheek was perfectly natural and appropriate. Now, Lemonheads is going to take the money and run with it.  Her big mouth (and nose) will blow this W-A-A-Y out of proportion and stir up shit when there was barely a fart.   Unless ... of course ... there is more to come from the party scene with Maya and Zende but I doubt it.

Why is Zende such a standup guy with Maya and such a pouty bitch with his own wife.

It's because KM can act (most of the time) and RE can't. The guy who plays Zende (sorry, I can't ever remember his name) has more natural chemistry with KM (and everybody else) than he does RE. (RE doesn't even have chemistry with that baby.) Anyway, we've seen that he can bring some decent chops to the table when he's given good material and plays off against more talented actors. He still has a long way to go but vastly improved in the recent months.

I cannot believe that Puffy missed her own party. That's another huge inconsistency. She really had to fly back home for "work?" Why couldn't Rick handle it? He was doing business from his hotel room anyway.  I can't believe that he'd be such a horse's ass that he'd begrudge Puffy her spot in the limelight for one night (even thought it would be hilarious and well-deserved) just because she bested him as CEO ...

I actually liked the scene at the party where the two guys were hassling Maya. At first I was excited because I thought it was actually a gay couple who was stopping by to compliment her.  I'm not advocating that type of treatment of transgender people, but at least it was something different and something that could actually happen IRL!!  BTW, I loved Maya's evening dress. I think she's worn that before on the show. Beautiful cut and color on her. Brooke looked exquisite as always. All I could see of Katie was rhinestone-outlined cleavage but she looked pretty good, too.

Watching Katie and Wyatt kiss made me throw up in my mouth more than a little bit.

Same.  And did you see how tight their mouths were closed?  Either one of them just ate onions, or they like this storyline as much as I do.

Caroline is as big a piece of shit as her uncle.

I'm so sick of her whining to Uncle Bill about telling that lie.  You know, dearie, you could always tell Thomas the truth yourself.

This will be an UO, but is there any reason why Saul, Darlita and Grams can't be cut back to recurring?

Not with me it isn't!  I don't have any use for any of them.

When I saw Katie spying (accidentally) on Maya & Nicole. I screamed, "Mind your own business Mrs. Kravitz!" Why is Heather Tom being written as some old shrew? She's only 42. Not 82!

Right?!  My first thought was, "Mrs. Kravitz had a chance to get some from her former stepson, decided against it and now she wants to piss on somebody else's parade."  I know that HTom is young, but she's written as such a priggish heifer with a perennial stick up her butt.  KKL posted a video on FB of the cast getting down on the dance floor in Monte Carlo a few weeks ago.  They looked as if they had such a blast!  DD had some serious dance moves but the surprise for me was HTom.  She looked so loose and carefree.  It was hard for me to believe because none of that comes across onscreen.  Well, at least she has beautiful hair.

All Katie witnessed between Zende and Maya was a hug and a simple kiss of gratitude.  The way she reacted, you would have thought there was lot a lot of tongue and that they were out there bumping and grinding.  All I know is that I feel really sorry for Wyatt.  He must have pissed somebody off in a previous life because he sure as hell is being punished for it now.  What a shame he has to waste all his macking powers on Katie.  He deserves to have a love interest who doesn't still have a love hangover and who probably can't wait to see how her ex and sister will react.

And, speaking of total drips, I have to take my hat off to Nicole.   That sure didn't take long, did it?  What happened to that vibrant, fun, laughing and confident young woman on the runway and earlier in the evening?  It's as if her fairy godmother swooped in and took it all away just before the stroke of midnight.  Now, it's back to the maudlin, despondent, melancholy persona.  "Oh, Zzzzzzendaayyy!  I'm sooooo tired...must go somewhere and lie down...."  I could understand it if Nicole was under the weather or exhausted for hormonal reasons.  But, she is almost ALWAYS like this!  How Rick managed to stay awake during their conversation is a miracle in and of itself.  Why do I get nervous every time she's around Lizzie?  The writers had better NOT be trying to dredge up that mess up again.

I thought Maya looked gorgeous and I loved the gown.  Those two creeps don't want none of Zende!  As lame as the scene was, it's a stark reminder that not everyone is as accepting of transgender females.

Brooke looked ethereal in gold and she and Bill make such a striking couple.  I don't mind their public displays of affection especially as someone who "grew up" watching Brooke Logan and Brad the Abbott pool boy.  Let's hear it for the 40 to 50-somethings who've still got it!

Recap for Wed. 8/2/2017:

We open at the after-party in Monte Carlo. Lots of bright lights and bling, techno music pumping, people shaking their groove thing on the dance floor.

Bill and Brooke are sitting in a plush-looking lounge section.

She looks absolutely gorgeous in a shimmery silver gown and partially upswept hair and damn, she is smokin'! Just look at those legs.

Brill.jpg.d6a6481f4c9d342e75c6eb5de296795c.jpg

Bill shares with Brooke that Thomas already flew back home because he misses Douglas. Lying right to his wife's face. Not cool, Bill.

Bill gets out the champagne and sparkling water for his wife. At least there's some continuity on this show.

Bill-Brooke-celebrate-MC-BB-HW.jpg

Katie and Wyatt join them and Katie has changed into a sexier getup.

Katie.jpg.a938c77405c74452a51ed8b073f36f27.jpg

I find it funny how they are practically glued to each other's side (with no one the wiser) and there's ALLLL this space for them to spread out.

Fauxdi had to fly home early for business. Darn, I would have SO enjoyed seeing her.

Brooke asks them: "Where were you guys? I was looking for you after the show!"

Katie and Wyatt flash back to their kiss and Katie gives some "catching my breath" excuse that the Brooke I know would have seen right through.

Wyatt proposes a toast to deflect and they all raise their glasses and toast to the Spencer Summit.

Over at Rick and Maya's suite, Lizzie is feeling fine so Rick tells his wife to go have fun at the after-party. She heads out with Zende before he throws another shit fit about not being at the party already. Nicole assures her husband she'll be along "soon." She is so not coming.

And isn't this cozy...she plays with Lizzie while Rick finishes up some work for FC. And this after Rick has encouraged her to go ahead and go.

Rick: "You know, every time I look at Lizzie, I say a little thank-you for everything you've done for your sister."

Nicole: "Well, it wasn't just for her. I mean, if Maya had ended up with another man, I don't know. But I saw how committed you are and devoted, and I wanted Lizzie to have a dad like that. Someone who's there for her, shows good judgment. Not like mine. I'm glad that Lizzie has a dad she can always look up to."

They exchange smiles while the anvils drop. I've thought they were going to play swappsies with Rick/Maya/Nicole/Zende for a while now, so get on with it already.

Maya and Zende arrive at the after-party and he wastes zero time downing vodka shots. This should end well.

Zende-Wyatt-Katie-Brooke-Bill-party-MC-B

Brooke, watching him guzzle it like Gatorade: "You better take it easy!"

Zende: "I'm fine, I'm fine. Listen, we killed the show, okay? We deserve to cut loose a little bit."

There's some chatter about Zende's designs (which are nothing to get down tonight about).

Maya thinks they might see some of his suits on the dance floor. Doubtful.

Zende: "Speaking of the dance floor, we should go out there."

Maya: "You don't want to wait for Nicole?" Nope, because he could not, would not wait.

Zende: "Well, she can catch up when she gets here."

Back at the suite, Nicole has changed into some jammies and Rick comments that it doesn't look like a clubbing outfit.

vRick-Nicole-suite-MC-BB-HW.jpg

She says she's exhausted (pregnant) and that (flimsy excuse) she wants to make sure Lizzie's fever didn't return.

Rick: "It didn't. You know, if you're gonna be sticking around, you probably should call your husband. He's gonna be worried."

Nicole: "And disappointed." ZenZey? Disappointed when the slightest thing doesn't go his way? Neahhhhh.

Rick: "I'd give him a call. He just might change your mind." It is hilarious how bad Rick wants her out of there. I agree with the comment upthread that he just wants to chill in his boxers and catch up on reality TV. Not babysit this grown ass heifer.

She calls her husband and he's predictably understanding.

Zende: "I wanted to share this moment with you, Nicole. Look, you won't believe who's here. Everybody's celebrating. Maya's here. She's not worried about Lizzie." Ooh...propping up Maya...

Nicole: "Baby, I'm sorry. I'm just too tired. You can tell me all about it when you get back, okay?" Um, you'll be asleep.

Zende: "Yep. All right. I got to go."

Nicole: "Have fun with Maya." He's already hung up at this point, but trust, he will...because this is ZenZey and boy knows how to party.

He's already getting tipsy and plops down on one of the couches to bitch about his wife. I mean, didn't she know how much this meant to him. RF seems to have regressed, acting-wise. Bring back the Zende who more than held his own with Julius. Because I am not here for whiny little bitch babies.

Maya, sensing his ego needs stroked, gives a little speech, praising him to high heaven.

Zende and Maya hit the dance floor while Bill and Brooke circulate and I'm putting aside my Bill hate for one day as I love seeing him show Brooke off. I also find it adorable how he seems incapable of stopping himself from kissing her. He's besotted with her and can't hide it - not for a second. And why should he? After all, they're not dead...

Wyatt and Katie are also dancing, quite close, and it's kind of laughable that Katie keeps looking around. Honey, no one is watching you but Wyatt.

Back at suite, Nicole hopes Zende can have a good time without her - he already is. She leaves then to go to her own suite and I'm sure Rick is thinking "About damn time!"

Katie gets a little flustered on the dance floor so walks away with Wyatt following her like a puppy. He moves in to kiss her and she lets him.

Katie: "Oh, um, you should be out dancing."

Wyatt: "That's not gonna happen."

Katie: "We should not be doing this."

Wyatt: "Why shouldn't we?"

Katie sighs and looks around: "Somebody could see us."

Wyatt calls BS on that: "What? Who cares!"

Katie: "That's a good point. This is crazy."

Wyatt: "Why is this crazy?"

Katie: "I could give you 100 reasons why it's crazy."

Wyatt: "Okay. We're narrowing it down. You said millions before. Now it's 100. So we're making headway. Give me one good reason right now. Right now."

They lock eyes.

Katie: "I got nothing." They resume making out.

A few moments later, Brooke goes looking for them so she can say "good night" and Katie about jumps out of her skin when she hears Brooke calling for them, quickly disengaging herself from Wyatt's arms.

Brooke finds them and questions Katie about looking flushed while Wyatt pats down his mussed hair.

Watie.thumb.jpg.f99cf12bff0c30f686d5dd9bd59724a0.jpg

There's a lot of stammering and excuses and Brooke must be in a really big hurry to get to her private celebration with Bill on the Stella Maris because she senses nothing.

The moment she's gone, Wyatt, wasting no time, archly asks: "My room or yours?" Damn, Wyatt...you are acting even thirstier than usual and for lemonade of all things.

Katie totally wants to hook up since she's the Sahara compared to Wyatt, but tells him he should stay and party while she heads back to the hotel.

Wyatt: "Okay, so, this kiss was like a good-night kiss?"

Katie: "Yes. Yes, it was."

Wyatt: "I can do so much better than that." And he looks oh-so-tempting right now and we know from Hope, Steffy, and Ivy that he's got the goods.

Katie is torn but tells him "Good night, Wyatt."

Wyatt continues to press: "I promise. I don't want to stay here without you. Come on, let's get in the car. We'll go back to the hotel. We'll tell the driver to take the long way, right? The cliff, the lights on the water, the view of the sea... it's romantic at night. When we get back to the hotel, though, um, I'm definitely gonna need someone to escort me back to my room, 'cause I've been -- I've been drinking tonight." If I had been Katie, he would have had me at "I don't want to stay here without you." DB is pretty irresistible here.

Katie tells him they're going to go back to the hotel...each to their own room.

Watie2.thumb.jpg.dad4d9a84bcdea5ec775ee13fff53820.jpg

Wyatt gives his best pouty face: "But what about the lights on the water?"

Katie: "I know. The lights... it's tempting. But not tonight." Ah, playing hard to get, are we?

Wyatt perks up at the mention of "tonight." "Not never?"

Katie: "Not tonight."

Wyatt: "Not never..." He kisses her and she pulls away.

Katie: "I'm gonna get my purse."

Wyatt: "Okay." He watches her, apparently a smitten kitten. She returns a moment later and tells him: ""You're gonna be a good boy and let me go." I'm thinking she likes having Wyatt as putty in her hands with her in the driver's seat. That's a first for her, I think.

Wyatt: "Okay," then, "Good night, Katie."

Katie: "Good night, Wyatt."

Good luck getting any sleep tonight, kids.

We end with Maya and Zende hanging out in the now deserted lounge area.

Zende.thumb.jpg.29755445259fe407ca5a22bc4a491a4b.jpg

These two dumbasses walk up and one clearly is wanna be startin' somethin' as he is rude to Maya, telling his buddy "she used to be a dude."

Zende is immediately furious as he stands and tells them to go.

But dumbass bigot continues to throw insults.

Maya: "Okay, you're being rude, so we're gonna go."

Zende: "No, no, no, no. No, he's gonna apologize to you first, right?

DB: "For what?"

Zende: "That's not how you speak to a lady. Now give her an apology."

DB: "That is not a "her." And what's your problem, anyway? You want to shove it in everybody's face, but we can't ask questions? You're out there dancing, showing off for everybody? I see you. You're out there dancing with her. You one of those freaks, too?"

Zende takes another step towards the two idiots and warns: "Call her a freak again."

Maya doesn't want to make a scene and tells him "don't."

Zende: "No, it's okay. You two, walk away. Now. Because you have two options here. One, you can leave on your own merit, or... I could throw your ass out like the trash you are. Now, this offer expires. So I'd think quick. 3... 2..." They make an exit. "Right." He nods, then throws out as they pass by, "Lovely haircut, by the way." He turns to Maya once they slink away. "You don't have to listen to them." I do see a little of RF's fire here and I appreciate Zende speaking up for his sister-in-law.

Maya shrugs: "Yeah, well, I have the privilege of not having to hear that stuff very much anymore."

Zende: "It doesn't matter. No one should ever talk to you like that, Maya. Okay? You deserve respect and common decency." He's exactly right.

Maya tearfully thanks him and he tells her to save her tears and she can still have a good time.

And...here come some more anvils.

Maya: "No, no, no. People like that... they just make me appreciate people like you even more. The people who care about me. And stand up for me. Your support means so much, Zende. Thank you." She moves to hug him in appreciation.

Maya.thumb.jpg.16ede2cc9f4704c1e55c9e676b8de14e.jpg

She then reaches out to stroke his face and lay a kiss on his cheek.

Maya2.thumb.jpg.fd0e42dc8735d3b3e2434f9242960839.jpg

The camera pans back and surprise, surprise, surprise... Gladys Kravitz is at it again...and so hypocritical, considering she didn't want anyone to see her and Wyatt playing kissyface and remember how pissy she got when Quinn jumped on her for kissing Eric on the cheek way back when. What's wrong with "just a peck?" Huh, LemonHeads?

May3.thumb.jpg.2eb8dd2759268b723bccc46056433ec6.jpg

Run, Wyatt, RUN!!!!

Katie is the classic has nothing going on in her life so she's gotta mess and stick her nose into everyone else's.

Although I do cut her a *little* slack since Rick is her nephew so she has some legit reason to side-eye Maya just a little bit. She may be all noble and what not now, but that's only because she now has everything she wants. She did her part to break up Rick and Caroline's marriage with the express purpose of supplanting her because 'she should not only be a Forrester but the Forrester matriarch'. When she's in entitlement mode, she has no problem doing shady crap so if Brooke ain't gonna pay attention might as well be Katie.

But also since Katie's crazy Quinn obsession was magically wiped away as they pivoted her into her new job and romance, going back to that well of her being a busy body is way too soon. I think Wyatt is supposed to be the 'remedy' to her needing to focus on her own life and needs and stop bothering other people.

Katie and Wyatt make a fine looking dark haired couple but there's no fire or urgency or stakes for whether they get together or not. With Taylor and Rick, it was an unexpected tryst/connection made by a desperate, spiraling Taylor which added to her complicated relationship/rivalry with Brooke. I really don't think Bill would care THAT much since Wyatt is the 2nd line spare heir (after Liam and Will), but if they actually make this about Bill having to work on his relationship with Wyatt.

I agree with much of your post @TobinAlbers, but IMO, I don't think Katie gives two figs about nephew Rick.  If she were an involved auntie, I could see it but I don't think she's cared too much about what was going on with him since the days of babysitting him and Budge.

With Caroline, she cared more that some young thang was taking her revenge toy (Ridge) away from her than the fact that Caroline was cheating on her nephew.

I saw today's preview and Wyatt is all but laughing in her face over spying on Zende/Maya, proving all along, if she got a life of her own (and laid in the process), she'd stop being such a damn busybody.

Pfffft. She's sat back as Bill fucked with Rick before, so she can miss me with that looking out for her nephew shit.

On that tangent, I'll be pissed off if Brooke leaves Bill over this current shit. Not because he doesn't deserve to have his wife pissed at him or because I fear a Bridge reunion, but because this is the exact shit he pulled on her own children and she wasn't bothered enough to end the shit ages ago.

That's true. Forget the mistaken identity wall boink with Oliver, if my mom hooked up with a man who made it his mission in life to interfere with my relationships and repeatedly and cruelly mocked and ridiculed me to my face and just shook her head at him and say 'Oh, Bill' without telling him to quit that shit or we're done, we would not be as on good terms as Hope and Brooke are. That should be a major point of contention for them and probably would be if Hope were on canvas. But then Hope, like Rick and Bridget know their mother - nothing stands in the way of her and her man, not even her kids.

Come to think of it, Nick is the only man( besides maybe Grant) loved and accepted all her kids regardless of their father. Nick was great with Hope and even RJ and it's too bad they pushed the Ridge adopting Hope angle instead of honoring how much a part of her life Nick was when she was small. Nick may have looked down on his dressmaker son, but I don't recall it spreading to Thomas, Steffy, or Phoebe. He kept his bile reserved for the one who deserved it.

And let's get real, everyone on this show has stood back and allowed a family member to be screwed over for plot purposes. Bill could use his villainy for revenge and avenging against the Forresters and yet he chooses to be a petty punk by going after Sally over a building.

I just realized that Steffy wasn't there at the awkward after party because she had to fly home to attend to "business". When has she ever attended to business? Other than everyone else's personal business? Ack. Shows how much I missed her on this show. Thomas flys to NY to see Carowhine and find out she's not dying? Hope so before they drag this out into infinity. How long before Brooke finds out what Bill did to Thomas? How long before Katie starts spreading unfounded rumors about Maya and Zende? I was really disappointed today when Eric said he wanted a divorce from Quinn and ordered her to move out of their house. He put up with much, much worse from Stephanie! Oh, vey. My head hurts.

I don't understand why Maya doesn't want to tell Rick what happened to her at the after party. It's after the fact so there is nothing Rick (or Nicole -- ????) can do about it and would be pointless to wring hands over 'I shoulda been there.' What would Rick have done any differently than what Zende did, anyway? Nicole would have just stood there and pouted.  I think Rick would want to know why Maya seems so bummed out and it has little to do with being hungover. I'm sure it's not the first -- or the last -- time there's been a run-in like that.  Wouldn't be better to clear the air? It might be a good sharing/bonding experience to smooth over any remaining bumps from Lizzie-gate. Instead, we have this looming "secret" and you just know that Lemonheads isn't going to let it drop. It's a good thing that Chez Logan isn't within telescope viewing distance from Katie's house. I'm glad that Wyatt firmly shut that shit down and said the words I've been dying for somebody to dare say to Katie, "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS." Thank you.

So now Charlie shows up. What was that all about? It seemed like Sheila summoned him to the hotel and he really was dumb enough to leave work and go??? This one is too stupid for words and it would actually be less painful for all of us if she'd just blow into a fit of rage and off him. I don't understand what he's supposed to be doing for Sheila. Is she going to try to extort money from him again? She was right. Eric went to see Quinn to ask her for a divorce. Who saw that coming? /winky-wink

That was a filler episode.  I guess the fools that run this show think they're 'setting a foundation' but what they're really doing is boring their audience.  AGAIN.

I can't believe a lightening bolt didn't come through the window when fucking SHEILA said 'there are some betrayals that are unforgivable'.  Eric just stood there and didn't say anything.  I'm hoping BigBadEric is opening a can of whoopass on EVERYONE, including the woman who bust a cap in just about every female he knew.  I'm not surprised he wants to divorce Quinn.  What she did was pretty nasty.  Quinn believes her and Ridge's lie, that it was just a 'couple of kisses'.  But she knows and WE know better.  If Eric had any idea about what really went on, he would stroke out on the floor, leaving Quinn a very rich widow.

Charlie needs to die.  I was hoping he had served his purpose.  But if we're in for more scenes with Sheila and her trusty sidekick, my FF button is going to get a workout.

I don't find Wyatt attractive at all but the one thing that I really like about him is that he likes women.  Not just likes to fuck women, but enjoys their company too.  That's rare.  I get the feeling that might be the actor bleeding through the character (if that's the case, then his wife is a very lucky woman) but he's a breath of fresh air, especially on this show which is run by the President of the 'He-Man Woman Haters Club'.  Katie is a sad and sick woman to be worrying about Maya and Zende when she has such a cutie-pie interested in her.  Clearly she doesn't have any qualms about making out with her former step-son (I do) so I don't know what she's waiting for.  It's not like her dance card is that full.

I agree with those who think Maya and Zende should tell their spouses what happened.  We all know that Katie's going to start a whispering campaign and then it's going to look like Maya and Zende were 'keeping secrets' instead of trying to spare their significant others the gory details.  I would hope that Katie would feel ashamed when she finds out what REALLY happens, but we all know that Katie Kravitz is shameless.

It would be nice if Sheila tried to kill Quinn and the missed shot or poison accidentally strikes Charlie. He wore out his welcome a long time ago.

Actually she could do away with him and Zencole and RJ.

Katie cannot go a week without being all up someone's personal business. She is the thirstiest buttinski ever. Shameless!

I feel like I got fucked by TIIC without any foreplay. Shelia is the demure bystander who is needs two scoops of STFU. Charlie is Eric's newfound Pitt Bull. Maya and Zende bonding.  Caroline dying.  There are no other buildings for Bill to buy. Eric won't forgive Quinn, who is the love of his life, when he has forgiven every other woman in his life. Etc etc. B&B stinks like week old fish.

Why are the TIIC recycling the transgender PSA?  ?

  • Love 6

I'd be pissed by that confrontation Maya had except for the fact that the show was all but twisting itself in knots to have her be accepted by the Forresters as breakneck speed, which in itself would have been a stretch even if she hadn't all but blown up the Caroline/Ridge affair and being a nasty bitch towards everyone when Rick did go for her again. Her story has been so ridiculously charmed i swear Hermione Granger was Head Writer the last two years.

No, more than another PSA, it just seems like a forced way to get Zende and Maya comforting one another and Katie to insert herself into yet another couple she needn't be a third wheel in. And given how B&B loves the "Babies need their birth parents" trope, I wouldn't be surprised if that was just a red herring for Rick and Nicole hooking up together, much like Bell had intended for Brooke and Nick after baby Jack was written into the show. I guess this doesn't count as a recycled story if the original one never made it to air. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for Quinn and Eric, I'm sure they'll get back together. At least, I sure hope so. After all Eric has managed to forgive Stephanie lying about their child being dead, Brooke cheating with Ridge, Brooke conceiving a child with their lowlife son-in-law, all the shady shit Stephanie has done to be rid of Brooke, and apparently Sheila's actual criminal actions towards most of the rest of his family. So yeah, he can forgive this eventually.

Oh ZenZey, I get that this was your big moment, but if my very young, healthy wife was going on about being too tired to celebrate it, I would be asking if she was ok, instead of getting all butt hurt and whiny. In all honesty, after watching the “after party”, I think Nicole made the right decision. Staying in and watching some TV looked more exciting than that mess.

Lame. That is the only thing that comes to my mind when I think about that celebration. Seriously? Half the principle players weren’t even there. How much better would it have been to have Steffy and Sally sparing? Not to mention working Bill about who actually won the competition? Sally and Thomas getting their drink and dance on? Steffy, picking up on the Wyatt/Katie vibe and growing jealous because all her ex-s must hold court at her feet for eternity. I don’t know what to make of those two losers who showed up and accosted Maya, but I think at the very least they would have been wearing my champagne, or at the worst, my foot up their asses. I am no Maya fan, but I am a fan of individual preference. I am also a fan of having the right to be who I want to be. So fuck off bigots. RuntheTable has a list of her most hated things, and bigots rank pretty high.

Nah! Nah she didn’t! Stink eye, hands on hips, little lemon mouth all pursed in displeasure. I really can’t believe this. Now Nosey Nellie is gonna burrow herself into Maya and ZenZey’s world? What imaginings will her warped mind come up with for these two? Let us not forget how she saw Bill and Brooke flirting right in front of her, when they were actually chawing down on some salad. And then there was Ridge and Quinn talking on the balcony, as NN watched through her gold plated telescope, growing more incensed by the moment, ending the scene with how much she hated Quinn. What Katie needs is to bent over and spanked. Or fucked in the ass. Whichever, I wish someone would do it and give her something else to think about than other people’s business.

Just as I suspected we now have stubborn Eric. As always, he is keeping to form when he has been hurt. I am not saying that he shouldn’t be, but he always plays it this way, and Eric Forresterizes the perpetrator. So, now he wants a divorce. Indeed. I recall him saying the same thing to Stephanie after the fake heart attack. And after Jackie fell over the balcony. And after Brooke’s rape. And after stalking Brooke to Big Bear and terrorizing her. And now it also appears that he has forgiven Sheila for nearly destroying everything he knows and loves. And Brooke too, although I have never found her crimes as heinous as those of Stephanie and Sheila, but she did cheat on Eric with Ridge. And not just kissing and fondling either. I would take Quinn over Stephanie or Sheila any day of the week. At least she has the balls to own her shit. It might come after the fact, and it might come too late, and it might be selective, but at least she acknowledges it. Stephanie would never do that. Oh no, Queenie was always right. Like the time she tried to give Morgan “abortion pills”. I don’t care how wrong Morgan’s actions had been, that was still your grandchild, and you wanted to kill it. Oh, shut my stupid mouth, how could I forget that only Taylor’s children by Ridge were acceptable. How about pawning Ridge off as Eric’s child? Again, how stupid of me; Stephanie had no idea. Right. And I am Wonder Woman. Stephanie Douglas Forrester was in control of every aspect of her life. And if she couldn’t control it in a natural way, she would conspire, manipulate, lie or anything else to plan an attack to regain control. And I am supposed to believe she wasn’t in control of her own fucking menstrual cycle? But Eric always forgave her. So I think I am going to be mighty, mighty pissed if he stands firm and won’t forgive Quinn. Yes, mighty pissed.

Quote

Is there some first commandment in B&B's "bible" that decrees that "Brooke Logan, no matter whom she marries, shalt not, and will not ever be happy?"  Does that commandment end with, "So let it be written; so let it be done?"

Historically, being a Brooke supporter has been a very lonely road; lonely and combative. That was until I discovered this board’s predecessor, and now this group. I know there are detractors here, but there are many Brookenites too. What I appreciate most is that we all respect each other’s right to have our own opinions. I have loved Brooke from the moment she ran into the house in her torn blue dress, and all I have ever wanted for her was to be happy. Whenever I discuss Brooke with friends who are not Brooke fans, I find the discussion always becomes about the elephant in the room. The big enchilada. The really, really big deal. So, let me just say it:

BROOKE LOGAN SLEPT WITH AND HAD A CHILD BY HER SON-IN-LAW

Ok. I am still here; solid ground beneath my feet. I sometimes just want to scream that there is so much more to Brooke Logan than DeaconGate. But that transgression is what has come to define the character, and what has made her so polarizing. Here is my thing; when you love a character, then you have to love the whole character. You can’t pick and choose. And you can’t make excuses when there are none. In this instance Brooke was a heaux and a rotten bitch. Forgiving her has been hard. But I know that Brooke is not malicious, although many times Stephanie pushed her to be so. But Brooke has never woke up in the morning and said “Let’s see, who can I fuck with today?” The only time I can ever remember her doing something with intent was sending drinks to recovering alcoholics Deacon and Macy. I was steamed at her for that because it was low and it was dirty. But I still loved her and wanted her to be happy. I thought Thorne was the guy; man, they were so friggin awesome:

59848cc86614b_brookeandthorne.jpg.adf6b6bb8e62ebd9389c44d65e23c4bc.jpg

Unfortunately they were thrown away for more Bridge time. Then of course we had Nick, who was completely, and totally sexily awesome too. I loved them in the beginning:

59848cc769051_brookeandnick.jpg.3fb76bae29a69a5433bc03f54a37cdd9.jpg

But Bridge came calling again and destroyed them as well. If Bill and Brooke implode, it will be the first time it happens organically, with no Ridge drama, so I have to believe there would be a bigger reason. Maybe losing Brooke over his lies will shake Bill so badly that he changes? I don’t know if that would be a good thing or a bad thing because Bill’s dastardly side is what keeps him interesting. So maybe he could still be a Dick, but he just wouldn’t lie about it?

Katie really had the girls talking in that dress. I thought Wyatt was going in there for a minute.

Brooke looked gorgeous.

Sorry to those who liked it, but I didn’t like Maya’s gown at all. It looked like tinted Saran Wrap to me.

Recap for Thurs. 8/3/2017:

I had to practically pinch myself to keep from falling asleep from today's episode.

Ridge stops by the mansion to see if Quinn has heard from Eric. Quinn is upset about the "growing divide" between her and her husband.

Quinn.jpg.fc7fc3ebdd90e42501b4f62294a2d10a.jpg

I kind of wish Eric would stop by and see how they just can't seem to stay away from each other.

At Eric's hotel room, Sheila is stunned to see that he's packing and that he's going home.

I love this red blouse on KB. Great color for her.

tumblr_ou4x6y7JlU1s1tyj7o1_540.jpg

She tells him he should divorce Quinn, for doing the unforgivable. She is the last person on the planet who should be talking about what is or isn't forgivable. Eric finally calls Quinn to tell her he's coming to see her, which Quinn shares with Ridge. Ridge makes a hasty exit.

Charlie shows up after Eric leaves and I feel like TPTB are giving us all the middle finger right now because it's basically Charlie and the Ambiens and Gladys Kravitz today. Charlie is all twitchy and paranoid that he's going to be found out for giving Sheila enough pieces of the puzzle to bust Quinn and Ridge. Could she just off him? Choking him with one of Pam's lemon bars would be fitting.

Maya, Rick, Lizzie, Ambiens, Gladys, and Wyatt are all headed back to LA on Bill's plane. Bill stayed behind with Brooke on the yacht and Sally took a commercial flight home.

Maya and Zende are choosing to keep the nastiness of the previous night a secret from their spouses and much ado about nothing if you ask me.

Katie pulls Wyatt into the kitchenette where he immediately pounces with a kiss, then teases her about the "mile high club."

But instead of taking him up on that very tempting offer, she wants to blab about how she saw Maya kissing Zende Claus.

Wyatt: "Maya and Zende?"

Katie: "I know, I know. It sounds crazy." Because it is crazy.

Wyatt presses her for details: "Okay, so, was it like a kiss-kiss, or more like a peck?"

Katie: "It was dark. I think it, you know, was maybe on the cheek?" Oh my God, Gladys! The club was not that damn dark. Clearly, you could see it was a peck on the check. It it was that dark, you wouldn't have seen anything at all.

Wyatt restrains from rolling his eyes: "On the cheek? That's it?"

Katie, struggling: "Well,  they embraced. It seemed intimate." She thinks everything is "intimate," except, hypocritically enough, her own pecks on the cheek with Eric. She needs to put down the romance novels and start living a little.

Wyatt, deadpan...hilariously calls her out: "Oh, God.......they hugged." DB's WTF expression made me LOL.

Watie.thumb.jpg.60952b591fc437538c243154abdca6e3.jpg

Katie is starting to realize she's being an idiot and that's refreshing: "Shut up, Wyatt."

Wyatt: "Okay, Katie, he's her brother-in-law. There's got to be a viable explanation. Maya is totally devoted to Rick and Zende and Nicole are like the newlyweds of the year." Don't tell Fauxdi and Waffles that.

Katie sighs, her little "secret secret, I've got a secret" bubble burst, for the moment. "I know. I know. You're right."

Wyatt: "Either way, it's none of our business." I could not love Wyatt more in this moment.

Katie: "Okay. I'm probably over-reacting." Katie? Overreact? Neahhhh.

Wyatt: "Mm-hmm."

Katie: "I have trust issues."

Wyatt, sarcastically: "I had no idea."

Katie: "Thank you for indulging me and for talking me off the ledge." That right there makes me think maybe this could work and why I'm still sitting on the fence. If he grounds her and helps take the giant stick out of her ass, that can only be a good thing.

Wyatt: "Yeah. I mean, we could do more than talk. You want to talk about the mile high club? We can do that again if you want." How she is resisting him, I'll never know.

Katie laughs nervously: "No, I'm good."

Wyatt: "Oh, okay." He knows she's decidedly more interested than she's letting on but what happens once they land in LA is anyone's guess.

Quinn thinks back to happier times with Eric when he walks in. For the first time, maybe ever, she seems to own what she did.

Quinn: "I've been so worried about you, Eric. Wondering where you are. How you are. It was so hard not to hear from you. But I understand. I mean, I hurt you and you needed some time alone. I spoke to... I spoke to Ridge. He said that he saw you and that Sheila's been hanging around."

Eric: "I don't want to talk about her."

Eric.jpg.beb9cc031d21a4591db8a46e6d181203.jpg

Quinn: "No, I don't want to talk about her, either.  I want to talk about us. I betrayed our marriage. I betrayed our vows. I betrayed your faith in me. I can't tell you how much I regret that. I would do anything if I could take that back. I also know that I can't change the past. All I can be is the wife that you deserve to have from this moment forward. Look, I know that we have a lot of issues to work through. We have worked through so much in the past, and I know that we can overcome this, and I believe you do, too. I mean, that's why you came back home. To me. Because you want to fight for our marriage as much as I do...Eric, please, just say something."

Eric: "How can I stay married to you? How can I ever trust you again? You betrayed me with my own son." And after watching all of this unfold, I don't think it's really about what happened with Ridge because that's what Ridge does. I think it's about the fact that Eric went out on a limb for Quinn, even against his inner misgivings initially, and believed in her and trusted her when everyone else despised her and with good reason and called him a fool for being taken in by her and she KNEW that. He hand-waved her past and declared he wasn't some doddering old fool being suckered..and that's exactly what her actions made him look like. She proved all the naysayers right and for what? I think that's the bigger issue.

Quinn: "I...am so sorry."

Eric lowers the boom: "I want you and Ridge off the property."

Quinn: "Ridge already moved out. I-"

Eric: "No, Quinn, you're not listening to me. I want you gone. I want a divorce."

Quinn is shocked: "No!"

Eric: "I've started the proceedings already."

Quinn: "No, Eric, wait! No, no, no! Please! Not a divorce. Please, I made a mistake, and I am so sorry, but I will do anything! I'll go to counseling.  I'll give you your space. As much as you need. Please, just sit down and talk to me!"

Quinn2.thumb.jpg.7d062de059853d4a408d43fa3bf165d3.jpg

Eric: "There's nothing to talk about. It's over, Quinn! It's over!" I think some of this is Sheila's influence, absolutely, but this is Eric, too. But his is a natural reaction to betrayal...whether he actually goes through with it will depend a lot on her. But he's in self-preservation mode right now.

Eric2.thumb.jpg.2bb1b0f92c20644c212e0ae4be10018c.jpg

Quinn: "Eric, no! No! You cannot mean it! Not a divorce! We can work this out! Please! Eric, I am begging you! You have to give me another chance! Please!"

Quinn3.thumb.jpg.13002d075ae0c0f1b1920a00cf5727fb.jpg

She really does seem desperate to hold on to her marriage her, but he doesn't have to do anything.

He looks back at her, probably thinking, shit on me once, shame on you...shit on me twice, shame on ME.

ERic3.thumb.jpg.4c16b2372ec45eceb7918d50c9c2b6df.jpg

I still find Queric to have rooting value and I would love to see them come out the other side, all the stronger for it, while Ridge is alone for a good long while (and stays the fuck away from Brooke).

The next few weeks will tell the tale because if Quinn goes running to Ridge for comfort instead of fighting tooth and nail for the marriage she claims to so desperately want to save? It's game over for Queric.

@RuntheTable, excellent post, especially all of the history and the shared loved of our girl Brooke.

I've loved her from day one, always have, always will, and the haters can eat a lemon bar. ;-P

Mrs. Kravitz is at it again!  Fortunately, Brooke's house (where Rick, Maya, Zende and Nicole are apparently living) isn't next door to Katie's place.  Otherwise, that telescope would be put to good use.  Between Katie's fish-eyed fool looks, snide commentary and suspicions, I'm ready to pull my hair out.  Run--not walk--Wyatt to the nearest exit before you get in too deep.  You are way too young and vibrant a guy to be playing "AB-NER!!" to Gladys Kravitz.  Thankfully, he shut that noise down by making it clear that whatever is going on was none of their business.  Now, if only someone in Katie's family could remind her that they have a brother resting in peace because of her need to butt into grown folks' business.  I'm glad that Katie finally admitted that she was still having trust issues.  It was obvious that she was projecting her rage toward Bill and Brooke onto Sludge and Quinn.  Now, it seems she's doing it again especially when she mentioned that the married people she saw kissing were in-laws.  Katie needs to get back into counseling, get laid or get a life.  Just leave other people alone.

I understand that Maya doesn't want to get her husband riled up about the bigots, but why needlessly toss logs onto a fire by keeping it a secret?  And, what is preventing Zende from telling Nicole what happened?  This is more of the writers' messiness in trying to figure out what to do with two couples who don't have a viable storyline right now.  Another thing that confuses me is why people are calling Zende's surname "Forrester?"  Now unless Tony is one of those husbands who chose to take his wife's last name, Zende's surname is actually Dominguez.  Get it together, writers!

So, Sludge decided to dress up and it appears he's going to work.  Given that fall is rapidly approaching, who is working on next year's spring collection?  Or is neophyte Zende expected to do all the heavy lifting now?  Poor Quinn. She still can't quite function without knowing what's going on with her huzzzzbend.  And, like the proverbial bad penny, Sheila is still lurking about in Eric's room, albeit with his express permission.  Contrary to what Sheila claims, Eric most certainly had not always been honest with her.  How could she possibly forget that he had a vasectomy without telling her and that he secretly recuperated at the Forrester mansion with Stephanie playing Cerberus, his Hades hell hound?  That's how Eric was able to determine that Sheila was lying when she claimed that she was pregnant (whoever supposedly sired her hamster, it wasn't his).  Heifer could barely contain her desperation when Eric announced he was going home.  I've just about had it with her mouth.  Yes--what Quinn did (to Eric anyway) was despicable, but I can't believe that Eric is so woebegone that he has developed amnesia about the one-woman crime spree dressed in red standing in his room!  And, these are just the crimes that she committed against his family after arriving in Los Angeles.  I'm not even talking about the stuff she did in Genoa City where she terrorized Lauren Fenmore for years just because.

I have no problem with Eric telling Quinn to get gone.  But, I'm curious.  When did he have time to start divorce proceedings?  Does he (like Sludge) keep domestic relations lawyers on retainer "just in case?"  Did he speed-dial his lawyers on the way home and tell them to whip out some forms reserved just for the Forresters?  Given the schizophrenic, plot-driven writing, I wonder what the end game is here.  I was certain that the end game would be Quinn and Eric, and it still may be.  The added bonus I figured would be Quinn's "redemption."  I was even convinced that Quinn and Sludge would ultimately end up in a hot affair because that's where it was leading.  But, the moment Sheila was airdropped into this storyline like some kind of kamikaze pilot, this whole storyline became even messier.

So, Charlie is still around.  The stupid is real with that one.  Other than being worried that Sheila might spill the beans that he was the leaker, why does he feel compelled to leave work and meet Sheila in her hotel room?  Why is he grousing about it if he's going to end up doing what she wants anyway?

And, for the last time, Katie:  TEND TO YOUR OWN BACKYARD!

But, I thought that this storyline recycled repeatedly since the show's inception.  Eric was practically engaged to Beth Logan (nee Elizabeth Henderson) but married the most beautiful freshman on campus (Stephanie), whom he wasn't in love with because she was pregnant.  Given the social mores of those times , I guess that was expected.  Too bad Eric had no idea that his not-so-blushing-bride took a ride on the wild side other than that campus frat party.

That storyline trope was recycled several more times with Ridge/Taylor; Rick/Amber; Felicia/Dante; Ridge/Brooke; Steffy/Lame; and now, Caroline/Thomas.  The only people this didn't always work out for were Sally and Margo, who basically had to raise their sons by themselves.  The single common denominator in both those relationships was Clarke Garrison, who made it clear he wasn't here for fatherhood.  It didn't always work out for Brooke either unless it was at Ridge's convenience.  I was surprised when KKL just said no to a Brooke/Nick/Jack family unit, and Brad Bell actually agreed.  Too bad he didn't listen to her when she objected to Breacon.

Some of us wondered years ago if the Bells injected their own Midwestern values into their storylines, which often seemed semi-biographical especially when it came to the family make-up and dynamics of the Forrester family.  This was also a common theme over on sister soap, Y&R, especially with the Newmans.  That could explain why grown children on both soaps pushing menopause and being just a few years away from Social Security eligibility often whined about their parents reuniting.

That was a disgusting, low point for Brooke, but it would've been far easier to push past had TIIC not decided to revisit Nick and Brooke *after* he'd gotten involved with Bridget three years later.

That being said, Brooke  does have a lot more to her than just that mistake. For me, her excuse of "I didn't plan it, it just happened" has worn thin...but you're right that being purposely devious and deliberately hurtful was never in her makeup. As much as she hated Amber, it never crossed her mind to poison her nor would she go along with some scheme letting Taylor think her father was dying to get Ridge.

@MulletorHater , fair enough on that. Wow, I never realized just how much this was repeated. Eric/Stephanie was one thing, considering the time period, but Rick and Amber in the late 90s? I was barely a teenager myself and I was rolling my eyes a bit at how hard he and CJ were fighting to be little Eric's father.

Today has me torn. Watching Eric and Quinn was so great because you know, actors actually acting. And as much as I'd rather Katie not continue to jump from Spencer bed to Spencer bed, Wyatt is actually fun and might help her mind her own damn business for five minutes.

RuntheTable, fellow Brookie here!  I cheered and rooted for this woman through every good, bad, and downright tirfling thing that she did.  However, I remember being so angry about Breacon that I cried and took a hiatus from B&B for a while until that shit ended.  I just couldn't watch it.  My kid sister never bothered to return because Brooke was totally ruined for her.  It's interesting that Brooke chose to carry Hope to term instead of taking the coward's way out and going to "a spa for a rest" and coming back not pregnant anymore.  I can't tell you how many good-natured arguments I've had with non-Brookies, especially the "Taylorettes," back in the day.  I remember sitting in my stylist's chair years ago and we were all watching B&B.  The stylist at the next work station said dreamily, "Girl, everybody loves Taylor!"  Before I knew it, I piped up and yelled, "Oh, hell no, they DON'T!"  Everybody got quiet for a moment.  After that, we all engaged in a spirited debate, which ended up with everyone agreeing to disagree, but also agreeing that both Brooke and Taylor were way too good for Ridge.  Good times!

I agree that Thorne, Nick and Bill are her best partners for different reasons.  The relationships developed rather organically and were based on friendship first.  It was refreshing that Brooke didn't have to jump through hoops to get their attention (at least at first with Nick).  I get the sense that Brooke would accept Bill's assholery if he just didn't lie to her face by omission or commission about the trifling shit he does.

I just don't want Bridge to even be an option, and I sincerely hope that Brooke meant it (this time) when she all but said she had outgrown the dysfunction she had with her "soulmate" and wanted no part of it not even for Slouchy's sake.  Now, if only Red Suit Brooke would return...

I guess I don't hate Brooke but I do see her as more devious and opportunistic than not. A recent example being  just so disingenuous in telling her sister's husband that she still loved him and destiny, whatever. That was very uncool.

May I pull up a chair to the Brookie table? I've always been a Brooke fan, even when she was at her lowest point. I LOVED the ongoing rivalry with Taylor. I never liked Taylor and wasn't crazy about Caroline 1.0.

A chunk got pre-empted by the local news, smack-dab in the middle of the show, so I missed a few minutes. Was it explained who the weird woman was who came to Sheila's hotel room and what she was doing? She looked like some crazy psychic who was doing a smudging ritual. It looked like filler and a waste of time. Sheila obviously summoned Charlie there and she threatened him but it was never revealed what she wants from him this time. He's pretty stupid to bait her like that.

Listening to Quinn beg and plead was pretty pathetic. There were too many "ever agains," "nevers" and "last times" for me to feel comfortable with her capability to be a sane, loyal partner to Eric, no matter how many chances he gives her. RS has an ugly "cry voice" like JMW. But at least RS is able to bring the real tears. I know that Stephanie and Sheila were far worse partners to Eric than Quinn has been, but true, neither one of them cheated on him (physically and emotionally) and sorry if the line is finally drawn at Quinn's feet but perhaps Eric has finally wised up and refuses to be turn a blind eye for the third and final time.

I can't believe that Katie tried to go there again about Maya and Zende. At that point, I think that if I were Wyatt, I would bought a clue and figured out that Katie is still way too messed up in the head for any type of relationship and to cut his losses after the proverbial "few kisses." It also didn't help that she acted all jealous about Charlotte's flirting with Wyatt right after Katie decided that there was no "us" between the she and Wyatt. She doesn't know what she wants/needs and is terrified to find out. It's easier to project her anger, mistrust and insecurities onto others and deflect by meddling. I agree with the person who said Wyatt should not walk, but run to the nearest exit. Katie needs to run straight to the nearest therapist's couch.

A lot of the storylines mentioned Brooke would be going on about her "destiny" and "following her heart." Now at that time I was big Passions fan and watched Port Charles so was already hearing those phrases uttered 137x a day.

Please... for the love of Wyatt's hair plugs and Bill's penis tower over LA can Show wake up and smell the lemon bars and get rid of Charlie, Zencole, and RJ and bring back Bridget and Deacon?! I guess that would make too much sense given the current plots. I also think it'd be super easy to undo Aly's death by saying she was comatose and sent for experimental treatment abroad.

I've been a Brooke fan since day one too and I don't see that changing no matter what these bone-headed writers decide to do to our girl. I will admit that Deacon-Gate is still the one all detractors run to first but, at this point, the show is so incestuous that I feel even that has lost some of its "power". Traylor's halo was finally knocked off eons ago so even her fans can get it lol It's funny that you guys mention that we are the minority because I have been the lone Brooke defender at many a break room at work LOL

So, I watched a bit this week. And because I'm obviously a glutton for punishment, I stuck around for them to put a stake in Queric.  In a normal soap, I'd assume that there's a health crisis for Eric looming just after Quinn and Ridge share a couple of bottles of tequila but I hope not, because I'm over guilty Quinn begging and pleading for anything.  And Sheila and Charlie need to DIAF, the sooner the better.

When I started watching, Brooke was in an embarrassing middle-aged sex kitten phase. Thankfully they cut out that finger snapping nonsense. It was painful.  She could really use a rival who wasn't her sister but she doesn't have that kind of chemistry with anyone who's onscreen right now.  Her scenes with Quinn always felt flat to me.  Maybe it's time to bring back Hope or Bridget?

Please... for the love of Wyatt's hair plugs and Bill's penis tower over LA can Show wake up and smell the lemon bars and get rid of Charlie, Zencole, and RJ and bring back Bridget and Deacon?!

I wonder what would happen if Deacon and Sheila met?

Katie and Wyatt make a fine looking dark haired couple but there's no fire or urgency or stakes for whether they get together or not.

I like this pairing. I might be alone in that, but I do like it. I don't even mind that there's no stakes or urgency. I'm okay with someone genuinely being smitten with Katie and Wyatt being with someone who hasn't been with Liam first. I suspect I have really low standards when it comes to couples on this show!!

That being said, Brooke  does have a lot more to her than just that mistake.

I tend to view sleeping with a son-in-law more than once and getting pregnant is far more than a mistake. But then again, I fall into the Brooke non-fan side of things. The only time I found her tolerable was with Thorne.

I do see her as more devious and opportunistic than not. A recent example being  just so disingenuous in telling her sister's husband that she still loved him and destiny, whatever. That was very uncool.

Exactly. Deacongate is far from my only issue with this character.

It seems that the character of Liam has been reduced to showing up every once in a while to remind us that Fauxdiloks is the sexiest, most gorgeous creature on earth and her husband is madly in love with her.  Scott Clifton is a talented actor but he ain't Daniel Day Lewis!  After watching Friday's episode with Fauxdi's casual and callous dismissal of Sally's heartbreak, I want something really bad to happen to to that bitch.  Maybe she'll catch whatever it is that Caroline's supposed to have.  There are some characters who are aware that their actions will hurt another person but they do it anyway. Fauxdi never even stops to take a second and consider the people who could be hurt.  Other people and their feelings don't exist.  Fauxdi wants her brother to return to the fold.  She doesn't bother to wonder just why her brother felt he had to leave his family business which is as much his birthright as it is his sister's.  She just wants him back under her thumb.  In order to get what she wants she's willing to destroy Sally's business and break her heart.

I honestly don't know why Fauxdi and $Bill were nipped in the bud so suddenly.  It has to be because the actors didn't want it because the characters are made for each other.  Even though Liam tortured the girl he loved and who loved him, for years, just because he got a whiff of Fauxdi's magic kitty-cat (not the one on her head!) he's still basically a good guy and deserves so much better than a heartless slattern like Fauxdiloks.

Personally, I think Fauxdiloks is waaaaaaay past her sell-by date.  She was the 'edgy, quirky' girl but that role has been filled by Sally a character who REALLY is 'edgy'.  I know the character has a huge and very aggressive fan base but even her most devoted fans have to agree that Fauxdi only comes alive when she's torturing another young woman.  Just like $Bill.   Like I said, I'm tired of that hateful bitch and I want to see her broken in two.  Maybe Liam could remember what a hateful hag she is and give her another 'state of the union' speech when he tells her ALL about herself.

What the fuck was up with Sheila's 'spiritual advisor'?  The character was so fucked up, I didn't know whether to burst out laughing or be offended.  I ended up doing both.  I guess we should count our blessings that she didn't have a bone in her nose.

Quinn is going to have to grab what shreds of dignity she has left and let Eric divorce her.  She FUCKED UP.  There are some things you just can't fix.  All the begging in the world isn't going to change things, especially since she and Ridge haven't even resolved what the fuck it was that was going on between the two of them.  I don't really want to see Ridge and Quinn together because I don;t think he deserves a woman as bright and interesting as Quinn.  Ridge deserves CAROLINE,

But not Taylor, cuz she'll somehow make it about her (Taylor's) relationship with Brooke ?

But damn, yeah. If I had the chance to get some cougar action, Maya and Zende wouldn't be on my radar at all. Who the hell did HT piss off to get these whack ass stories?

I've been a Brooke fan since day one too and I don't see that changing no matter what these bone-headed writers decide to do to our girl. I will admit that Deacon-Gate is still the one all detractors run to first but, at this point, the show is so incestuous that I feel even that has lost some of its "power". Traylor's halo was finally knocked off eons ago so even her fans can get it lol It's funny that you guys mention that we are the minority because I have been the lone Brooke defender at many a break room at work LOL

That's a good point. The Breacon story was the first time the show had done that (or maybe the second, since Stephanie and Clarke had some thing way back in season two when Kristen finally gave him a chance?), but in the years since it would be far easier to count the people on the show who haven't fucked a relative's ex (Phoebe and...yeah, that's about it ?).

I honestly think it was cuz Batie was far more popular. I came around to Bill and Steffy way, waaaaaaay after the fact for this very reason; I liked how seemingly stable the two of them were at the time. Despite her blunder with Bridget, I still wanted to see Katie happy because she wasn't nearly as shrewish as she is now. The biggest mistake was putting Steffy on Bill's path so soon after his marriage to Katie but that was pretty much par for the course on this show for nearly every pairing by the 2010s.

I still can't agree Liam deserves either Steffy or Hope however. He may not be as blatantly entitled as Ridge nor shares his rapist tendencies, but his waffling is no less grating. It's probably worse because Ridge could usually make some effort to stick with a decision but Liam just gets pushed around in life and it's boring to watch.

And more than even my borderline pathological hate for him, I'm just so sick of none of the male characters being held accountable for their shitty actions. Thorne and Darla sleep together and conceive a child, yet Macy is still aiming the bulk of her wrath against Brooke for their divorce years before*. Nicole all but gave Zende a free pass for the shit he pulled regarding the pregnancy while Sasha is persona non grata and now he may be moving on to her other sister. Then there's Caroline singing Thomas's virtues to high heaven. And now Eric palling around with Sheila, which will inevitably end with some innocent bystander (probably Ivy because the writers don't seem to like her or know how to use her) being killed when she inevitably reverts to type.

It's a pattern that needs to end.

*In fact, her pushing Deacon to give Eric III's shares to Eric and take control of the company from Brooke happened well after she'd ended things with Thorne yet she was all too happy to trash Brooke. If I were Brooke,  I would have sent a cocktail to Macy's table, too.

I'm just trying to figure out when Miss Cleo got her SAG card.  Like, what in the ever loving fuck was that mess going on in Sheila's room?  As if there wasn't already enough crazy going on there.  Between the smudging and whatever else she was doing, I was waiting for her to shout, "CALL ME NOW!"  And, I still don't know what the source of Sheila's income is.  How much does her psychic charge for house calls?  I would be eternally grateful if she could predict Charlie's death.  Why that idiot chooses to poke the crazy is a mystery for the ages.

Stuffy is such a trifling slippery slag and no amount of Lame nuzzling her neck and waxing poetic about her non-existent beauty and sexiness will change that.  Every time I see her, I can't help but think that the wrong twin died.  At least Feebles didn't run around with hair that looked like a rat's nest.  This is one of those instances where I wouldn't mind seeing Lame donning his red cape and playing Cap'n Save-A-Ho to someone else, preferably Sally.

Knowing these writers, Sally would be defanged the minute she buttered Liam's Eggos....the same as with Ivy and Quinn, who literally hated him the week before she found him and took him to Captive Cabin.

But maybe a new love interest? Mary Warwick, perhaps? He can save her from her mother and it has the added bonus of Steffy's head exploding as he dares associate with someone with evil Carter blood. And there's the off chance that Sheila will finish what Quinn started three seasons ago the more he interferes.

Even apart from that, having him play hero is way too similar to what Thomas has been doing with her lately, so I wouldn't want to see that play out again. I'm wanting to see Sally step up and get that first, unequivocal victory over Steffy and Bill. I think Wyatt would make the far better choice because he may not have the Forrester pedigree, but he did help run the Quinn Artisan company when they were still independent of FC, so he'd get her in a way that Thomas wouldn't.

Good God. Idiot Charlie is going to do Evil Sheila's bidding?  I hope this bullshit storyline doesn't go on for months, but knowing Bell's lack of imagination, I'm guessing that Sheila going after Quinn will go into the New Year. If that's the case, I see me fast forwarding this show and watching it in less than 5 minutes.  I've always hated Sheila stories and I refuse to watch this latest incarnation.

I've been out of town so am a bit behind and from reading these posts, it seems I've missed...nothing.

It boggles the mind that a show that can bring us the Brill reunion, Sally's arrest, and Eric disowning Ridge can air so much other boring shit.

*Insert Janice Wannabe-Bing voice...*Oh My God!* Carter is the absolute worst lawyer ever. Ever! Is attorney/client privilege a real thing, or just something I've heard about on tv? That is the 2nd time in a few months that he's told not-the-client crucial, should-stay-private info. Ironically, that's also only the 2nd time in a few months that we've seen him. *Oh My God!*

I like the chemistry between Wyatt and Katie. He has a cute / sexy charm thing going on.

Also liked the Quinn and Eric temporary happy ending. Something was up when the papers said she got nothing. Thought he might have been testing her. Loved when he ripped them up. As a relatively new viewer, and just as a big TV fan in general, it was nice to have a payoff - a happy ending - at least for now. I might have even gasped a bit during the ending. However, I'd like to see the fierce Quinn I've read about here. Maybe she could come out to kick Sheila's ass.

So glad Eric wants to try again with Quinn! That was a surprise, for sure. But now, we have to worry about what crazy Sheila is going to do. At least, it should be interesting. I hope it comes to a showdown between Q & S and Q shoots her dead.

Did Quinn sign a prenup? I do seem to remember something about some paperwork after they got married.

I agree Carter is godawful. Between him pressing Liam to drop the charges against Quinn, hiding the Power of Attorney from Quinn and Ridge's request and now this, he ought to lose his damn law license.

Why the Hell did this show kill off Storm?

For all the good it does. Sheila is basically a Phoenix personified. :/

That was Justin, Bill's lawyer. Who instead of admitting he was out of his depth, knuckled under Quinn's deplorable attorney instead of calling in an old law school chum who deals with sex crimes and kidnapping and who had balls and know how to make sure Quinnn was convicted and buried under the prison.

Eric taking Quinn back smells of a set-up. I wonder if he'd be so crass as to test her? I hope not as Eric doesn't need to go the way of crazy obsessed old man over Quinn.
