Finally, we see Hope and Deacon together.  That scene has been needed ever since Steffy fired her.  

It would have been hilarious if Luna would have called the cops to accuse Electra of assaulting her. 

I still really do not get what the show is going for with Bill.  

Brooke pretending that she's going to hold Ridge to any standard just because she didn't agree with Carter and Hope's takeover plan is hilariously not self aware. She wouldn't dare hold her hobo to any standard, because she just pathetically, desperately wants him, and she knows that she can't put up any opposition to him if she's ever going to get a shot at getting him back.

Ridge's line (family, not designs) runs the company, for sure.  But the actual shares in the company have bounced around so often, it's hard to keep track who has what.

BTW, I have to say I'm finding Hope's complaining about Ridge's control of FC and "I'm tired of Ridge having the last word on everything at the company" more than tedious.  It's Ridge's company.  His name is on the building, the door, the stationery, etc.

Damn, I love $Bill, he’s my favorite, maybe ever, but what an absolute dickwad asshole today. Liam is farrrrr from my favorite, but he’s not the worst person on a show where the heroine is Steffy. With Steffy mentioning $Bill multiple times, I’m guessing she rides her broom over to confront him & finds Liam passed out, saves his life, & he wakes up with amnesia, thinking he’s still with Steffy, causing marital strain with Finn (because according to Taylor, “when someone has amnesia, it’s imperative to play along with whatever they think, or it could be damaging.” Bonus points if it benefits a Forrester.). Pure speculation, no spoilers, but I’ll die if that’s what happens.
 

They actually have the perfect setup, Hope is looking for a new career path, Liam is looking for a new career path. While I’d prefer they just be friends, both are single now, Hope’s been like 2 years syrup-free…

 

While $Bill was trash today, I do appreciate the shoutout of him calling Liam waffling between Hope & Steffy.

Yeah, I'll be shocked if Liam doesn't have amnesia and think he's with Steffy.  

I rewound to listen to Deacon talk about beating up Ridge a second time. But how is it going to work with her living next to him and Sheila, when she has a child?  

The only thing I can think of as to what they're doing with Bill is that his conversations with Luna have brought up some specific really bad incident from his childhood that he had blocked out. Something that did not come up in his commiseration sessions with her. Liam mentioning not knowing anything about Bill's childhood today made me think that must be where they're going with this. And he doesn't want to tell anyone about whatever it is, so he's acting like an ass instead, because he doesn't want to share that to defend himself. High five to him for calling Liam a waffler, though.

Especially since Taylor would love to have a reason to push Steffy away from Finn now. And since Liam was the subject of the proxy war she and Brooke could fight for their daughters, Taylor would look at Liam waking up thinking he was with Steffy as a victory.

I hope she and Beth move in next door and that Hope never look backs to the cabin on the mausoleum property. 

Not Brooke, refusing to see where her choices of chasing after her DESTINEEEE have shaped who Hope became. You would think she would have more sense than to try to hop on the rusty, broken-down, listing to one side merry-go-round she's been on for the better part of forty years (FORTY YEARS, people!) but it's Brooke. The only thing that could salvage this is if the real Ridge returned. Let Beige have the hobosexual. 

Elsewhere, I'm with those who think Liam will wake up, thinking he's still with Steffy. Which she'll be all too happy to entertain because true wuv with Finn or not, she relishes in more than one man wanting to be in her orbit.

I'm okay with a sick of being her lapdog, especially when she has Liam in waiting for that job, Finn, circling around Hope, whom I would like to see bonding more with her father, Sheila going all protective mama bear with her and them bonding over how much they both love Deacon and Finn realizing he could have some sort of relationship with his biological mother and daughter and the only thing he's losing is a pile of hair and a big mouth. 

I am intrigued by what's going on with Bill and like the idea of exploring his past. We all know Bill Sr was a piece of work. Perhaps Brooke could get her head out of Ridge's behind long enough to see him struggling? Anything would be more interesting than her chasing after destiny and the snoozefest that is Electra and Will.

Speaking of, Will don't talk to your mom about how Electra isn't ready to give up her v-card and how you are doing all you can to change that. Boundaries...oh wait, I forgot what show I'm watching.

Also, Electra, sweetie, don't bring a knife to a gun fight. You are no match for Luna. Andplusalso? Will isn't your property. You can tell Luna to stay away from you but Will is free to decide what he wants and I think it's only a matter of time before he takes Luna up on her offer of "not even friends with benefits."

More proof that Stuffy is a fantastic executive. She’s off on another crusade instead of working. 

Why isn’t Brooke’s tongue brown and her breath smell like 💩 with all her ass licking of Ridge.  Oh I forgot, Ridge’s shits unicorns and rainbows. 

Again what’s old is new again. I polished my crystal ball to see that Stuffy and Hope will be fighting over Liam again.  Stuffy is in the hospital but Stuffy, as of now, doesn’t notify Hope nor Bill.  Bill is the only person that can sign a convent form for a life saving medical procedure.   One more thing, my crystal ball is telling me that Finn, who is not a neurosurgeon, will save Liam’s life. 

 

Next week:  Deacon and Carter duke it out. Deacon goes for Carter’s balls not knowing they are in the desk draw of the CEO office.

It was so weird during the scene with SC on the ground and JMW finding him. It was like it was during the Covid years. She didn’t touch him. She was just ranting and raving at but was so far away from. It was just odd staging. That said, Clifton falls really but also looks like that when acting in general. LOL!!!!! I assume Bill be sitting vigil soon or just blame Liam for being dumb and falling. 

I had totally forgotten that Cassandra Creech had joined the cast……..last year. I almost didn’t know it was her until her second scene. At least, they used her because they could have just used unknown day player. I guess this will be the beginning of Steffy loving Liam again and they will have Liam recover at some Swiss clinic when she goes on maternity leave. Although, when JMW has her babies she is usually back in 3 days. LOL!!!! How does she do it?

The previews for next week look good, but I wish it was going to be Ridge that Deacon decks instead of Carter. (Even though both men deserve it.)

This show is really committed to the whole "the takeover was all Hope manipulating poor, naive Carter" narrative, aren't they?  When Brooke pointed out to Ridge that they accepted Carter back, he got all indignant, saying Hope and Carter aren't the same.  No, Ridge, they aren't, because the takeover was Carter's fucking idea, and he executed it. If Brooke was remotely serious about advocating for Hope, she'd fucking point that out. But, of course, she can't, because she also bought fully into the Forresters' narrative about her daughter, and heaven forbid she actually truly stand up for her in Ridge's face. 

Did I hear mention of Liam's blood type?  I've been watching soaps long enough to know that we're going to get a paternity storyline when they mention someone's blood type. That could go two ways - Kelly isn't really Liam's, or Liam isn't really Bill's. And would it be too much to ask that we get Wyatt back in town while his brother is suffering  serious medical crisis? 

Kelly is definitely Steffy's kid with all of that "I love when me, mommy and daddy are together as a family" talk. Of course, when that's about 50 percent of what her mother talks about with her own parents all the time, it's no wonder Kelly is saying the same shit. Next, she'll be telling Finn "you're not allowed to see Sheila or Luna!"  Also, I get that she and Liam are co-parenting and all, but I love how Finn is not allowed to speak to Sheila, Luna, or Hope, but Steffy can have special family dates with the guy who kissed her (and she still hasn't told Finn about that).  Hey, Finn, you might want to pay real close attention to your owner's rants about Brooke, because you are going to become Brooke.  

That preview of Deacon attacking Carter, be still my heart. But, seriously, Deacon, it would be so much better if you did that shit to Ridge.  And I laughed at the preview of Beige wandering into Ridge's office, only to find lingerie clad Brooke there.  I'm honestly surprised she didn't show up in today's episode when Brooke and Ridge were alone in the office.  Were her spidey senses not working today?  Did Steffy fail to call and alert her that she's left the office, and Ridge is unattended?

Among many other reasons to have a new soap opera after 25 years make it to air, I love Beyond the Gates because it holds up so many mirrors to the other shows, but to B&B especially. Cuz on that show they have a similar rivalry with one suspecting the other of being shady but Kat has the ability to STFU about her hate of Eva and have normal conversations with her boyfriend and her cousin & other people in her family.

Steffy doesn't have that ability to enjoy *anything,* and it's even more sad knowing that a huge part of the reason she became so popular in the early 2010s was because she could be the fun counterpart to Hope's ice princess persona. I got to watch the episodes I missed during deployments from 2012 and I honestly got why people could cheer for her over Hope. But now she has the loyal husband, her parents reunited (for now--it won't last but this is honestly the longest they've been together since before Beats by Dre were invented), the business is back in Forrester hands and most importantly she's gotten everyone in Hope's life to turn on her, including her own mother, who Steffy also hates.

She's not the poor little rich girl living in the shadow of Daddy's favorite daughter anymore, if she ever was that in the first place. And at least when B&B was blowing smoke up Hope's ass ten years ago, she wasn't covering up manslaughter or getting to talk to everyone any stupid way without getting popped on the mouth.

Same here. For all that Liam absolutely deserves to be dogged for the shit he's done to Steffy and Hope:

1) Bill is screeching this at Liam to deflect from the fact that he brought an unhinged murderer into the house that he told no one about, for no reason anyone can discern 

2) Bill had his hand in all of Liam's relationship drama until the very recent past, pushing his thumb on the scale for Steffy until he got the opportunity to finally fuck her himself. Much like with Ridge and Brooke, Liam would've been forced to make a clear decision if he and everyone else hadn't been butting in for their own agendas.

Regardless of my complains about Liam, it's certainly a logical thing to ask "Hey dad, WTF" in this situation.

Oh, there's plenty of Deacon's karate chops to go around. Ridge, Thomas, and Liam have all done Hope dirty, but Carter did as well and is the most recent, especially with letting her take the blame for being the mastermind behind the coup when it was him all along.

I know Steam has almost always been overhyped and needing the scales tipped to work. But Liam needing brain surgery, that conveniently took 5 minutes, and literally no one else being notified even though that's basic protocol, so that the chosen one can be the only one that knows/be by his side is truly some next level propping. Was Hope randomly throwing her marriage away over Thomas, and Finn being night and day over Sheila & being Luna's father (not that those weren't also pro steamless psyops) really not enough? I've been calling a forced steam reunion ever since Hope started fantasizing about Thomas, but this scenario specifically was not on my bingo card.

Why is a cardiologist taking care of Liam when he should be seen by a neurologist and  hematologist.  I have had a brain bleed!  They put you in neuro ICU till they find out why it happened. And if you need surgery to fix it you see a neurosurgeon NOT a cardiologist.

Didn't you know that all of the physicians on B&B have boards in multiple specialties? Dr. Taylor Beige-Hayes is a family doc, psychiatrist and oncologist. Dr. Bridget Forrester is a family physician, pediatrician, surgeon, OB/GYN fertility specialist and cardiologist. (She earned her final degree from Google U.) 

Both Drs. Finnegan are ER docs, family physicians, surgeons, and pathologists who can run DNA and paternity tests.

If Dr. Buckingham is only practicing emergency medicine, neurosurgery, and cardiology, she needs to pick up the pace! 😂🤣

So, I see Dr. Buckingham is trying to keep pace with our multi specialized doctoring staff. 

Did Steffy have all Liam's medical details at her fingertips to register him at the hospital? 

In my neck of the woods when someone is taken to the ER the next of kin is notified.

Also, in my neck of the woods, random people are not allowed in the room when life saving procedures are being carried out. 

Why is it these rich young people are unable to get their own apartments?

What is going on with Bill? He has become some type of unofficial parole officer/jailer, whose home is a stopover for wayward criminals.

First of all I have to ask. Was there an episode yesterday?  If so, my DVR failed to record it. 

Why has Stuffy failed to call her fantastic doctor husband to let him know that Liam was in the same hospital where he works?Even Li doesn’t know that Liam is in the hospital. 

Did I hear Ridge correctly?  Daphne designed her perfume for HFTF and he would find a place for her even though Daphne’s line was very successful.  Wasn’t it a standalone new FC product as is the jewelry line?  Ridge feeling very altruistic will also find a place for Z. I hope Ridge doesn’t have Z design shirts for FC. Speaking of men’s shirts. Has FC ever have a line of men’s clothing?  

Once again I have to say it’s Ridge’s ego that won’t let him believe that Carter was at fault. 

Carter, Deacon was the first man to abandon Hope?  No Carter, it was Brooke that kept Hope from her father. 

Is Daphne going to be another Raggedy Taylor with showing up in scenes that she really has no business even being there. I guess she’s going to be there as another soldier in the disparagement of  Hope and Brooke with a French accent.
