GRRRrrrr ... Ugh. I just can't with Brooke. Get a grip, woman! I can't believe she spent Christmas crying over that loser and then sent him a Merry Christmas text! FFS! Doesn't she have a single scrap of pride and self-worth? You know? If she's that pathetic, she deserves to get her heart broken. 

And boring Taylor was even dressed in a boring beige dress. And I was gobsmacked by her hypocritical toast and speech. To "love, acceptance, openness." I hope that Brooke and Carter blow up FC as a multi-billion-dollar luxury brand and there is no return for Ridge and Steffy. (I secretly think Eric would come around at the whiff of success.) Let sanctimonious Tridge trio, lap dog Finn, and Zende got out and try to launch a competing fashion house and fall flat on their faces.

Ridge would have been shown the front door as soon as he called my daughter a bitch and a s***. The Logan Christmas should have been spent toasting to their success and plotting their next moves in the FC takedown.

SHOW, we have seen this so many times before. How long will we be subjected to Brooke weeping and moping about this time? And once Zende spills the beans, Ridge will not be able to get to Brooke quick enough to say how sorry he is, and Brooke will cry out of both eyes and fall into his arms.

Good God woman, this man called your daughter, a person he raised as his own for many years, a bitch and a slut. Outside of him being fully aware of how that word affects you, is the fact he used it against your child. Then he went on to essentially tell you that you, and your entire family are trash. I guess that would include his son and his father’s wife. He compounded those insults by bellowing how you have betrayed him, as he had just come down from sexing up his Jock Rider. That is bad enough, but worse is his automatic assumption that you have gone to the dark side. Why won’t Brooke see that every time something happens, Ridge always jumps to the wrong conclusion and runs to Steffy and JR to be reassured that he is right about her? And if Zende does come clean and Ridge believes him, that will also be a slap in Brooke’s face because she tried to tell him herself, but he was so full of man pain and butt hurt, that he couldn’t be bothered to listen or believe her.

And don't get me started on how Ridge dressed Brooke down, acting as if she was some upstart intern, that he and his vaunted family had "helped" become a success. This is when I would have spun his greasy head around with the slap heard around the world. Forrester Creations would not be the fashion house it is today without BeLief. Nuff fucking said. 

I don’t care who’s side you are on, this writing sets women back 1000 years. Neither woman has a shred of self-respect or dignity. They have been fighting this battle for over thirty years, and no one ever comes out the winner except Ridge. It’s insulting and appalling.

This. After last time, when his man pain wouldn't allow him to have a direct and honest conversation with Brooke about the CPS call, you'd think he would have learned something. But there Brooke is, telling him "I did this for you," and he won't stop venting his sad aggrieved little spleen long enough to ask her to explain what she means when she says she did it for him.  So to, on top of that, have him end up listening to someone else and then go running to her? Brooke seems to have either forgotten and/or forgiven that Ridge called her daughter a “worthless sl*t”.  Uh, why?  And since the only one she told about it is Katie cuz she has no friends, I guess Show will forget about it too.  Wow, that is lame.

What’s also lame is the idea Show has enforced that both Brooke & Taylor believe.they MUST be with Ridge FOREVER, no matter how badly he treats them.  I blame the writers for this misogynist crap, encouraging women to desire someone who is abusive to them — and tolerate the continued abuse, and believe in some mistaken romantic idea it should go on forever,  Ew, really gross stuff.

Finally some forward-movement in the Electra story. Good on Ivy, sitting there, sipping her wine, side-eyeing that creeper Remi. She’s always entertaining.  I’m glad Electra saw the pix, it was sooner than I expected. 
 

Guess when you reeeeeeallllllly love someone, you make a shrine of them in the bathroom. I figured it was in the bedroom, but when she saw it in the mirror, I was legit surprised. I wonder how she’s going to get out of there, because you know he’ll high-tail it up there the second he finds out Deacon inexplicably sent her up there. Sure Steffy all the times Brook broke Ridge's heart the last 5 years or so:

• the LLC to take over Forresters? oh right Brook told him the moment she found out
• calling child services on Thomas? no that was creepy Thomas
• kissing Deacon? happened when Sheila switched the nonalcoholic champagne with alcoholic and his two safety-net child knew about it but kept quiet
• getting drunk and getting "married" to Shauna? nope that was Ridge
• playing kissing face with stepmom Quinn to get rid of her but ended up doing more kissy face with her? Ridge
• this was more than 5 years ago, but having a huge hissy fit that Brook was in contact with Deacon in regards to their daughter and basically ending the marriage because of said hissy fit? dummy Ridge

I am sure there are other times but at least for the most part since TK's Ridge and Brook has been together. either he messed upt or his safety-net children have interfered in their relationship.

Steffy can continue to egg on her parents together. It will be all the more hilarious when mommy gets dumped and suddenly needs to leave town again. Maybe Steffy can finally get angry at her mother for always leaving town and Steffy because her feelings about Ridge are more important than her children and grandchildren.

So Ridge more or less confided/confirmed to Steffy today that wrung-out beige dishrag (and also the Taytots) is Ridge's "safety net" when things go south with Brooke.  Does he need to hire a skywriter over Beverly Hills to get Taylor to get it through her thick skull and BHS that she is always his second choice and backup? Then, idiot Steffy rewarded him with a hug. 

Now it sounds like Brooke is going to forego the CEO position to keep the butt-hurt man-baby happy. I am not sure that's actually going to happen, but it sure sounded like it when Brooke was talking to Hope. Brooke could be throwing away a wonderful career opportunity just because Widgey got his feelings hurt.  I belie(f)ve Brooke will do a lot of good things for FC, regardless of who is in charge.

Where was this sage wisdom from Hope during her entanglements with Thomas, Liam, and (almost) Finn?

I truly believe the writers hate women and write them to be pathetic Stepford Wives with no dignity, self-worth, intuition, or agency to function without a MAN. Or, to objectify them as in the case of Electra and cyber-stalker Remy.

Very easily."  But, that would be bringing up something bad Steffy has done in the past, and this show doesn't do that. 

I've noticed they've changed how they do JMW's hair and makeup recently. Are they trying to make her look younger because she and RB look like contemporaries instead of mother and daughter?  Because it's not working. All they've really accomplished is making her look more like Hunter Tylo. 

Katie, you don't need to tell Will why you fired Electra, but you absolutely need to talk to Electra and answer her questions. Despite all that's going on now, Eric is your BIL and friend, and this is his niece. Have an honest conversation with her about this. Also, even beyond the work issue, you owe her a woman to woman conversation about those pictures being sent to you. You should be well aware that there are so many women out there who have no idea that their naked pictures are floating around out there. Electra deserves that information just because she has a right to know that someone is sending nudes of her to anyone. Of course, you should also be aware of the possibility of AI generated fake nudes. Which is another reason to make Electra aware of the pictures. 

And, Electra, being reminded of the fake nudes while you're bemoaning being fired for not fitting the company image should have raised a little bit of a red flag for you. If those pictures harmed your image and relationships back home, wouldn't you think it's possible that they're doing the same in L.A.? 

I love that Ivy could smell the creepy wafting off of Remy. 

Can Sheila just go away for some reason?  I don't care if she dies, becomes obsessed with some random customer passing through town and follows them out of town, commits another crime and gets locked up, kills Steffy and has to go on the run, or just gets bored with her existing life and cuts out. So finally Will gets to see the pictures of Electra and immediately recognizes them as AI deep fakes but is Katie going to give 💩💩, and admit she’s wrong. 

 

Brooke not coming to the meeting today was included in her plan to win back FC for “Mr Wonderful”. 

 

It turns out that Remy is actually Thomas Jr.  

 

 

The main thing I’ve learned today is that Electra and Luna are excellent actors and should be given more airtime than Stuffy or Taylor.

In my opinion, as much as I liked crazy Luna, the only reason to bring her back on is if they're going to revisit the paternity story and reveal that Finn is her father. I do not want to see a Luna/Bill romantic pairing, and I just don't see the storyline value in him getting her out of prison to play daddy/daughter again. Poppy and Li barely exist anymore.  Honestly, having Luna be the killer and kidnap Steffy for the glorious Bitch in a Box fun mostly works best if she's Finn's daughter and Sheila's granddaughter.

I'm a baby boomer and even an old dinosaur like me would question the authenticity of those pictures, since I'm aware enough to know that AI can do all sorts of weird and not-so-wonderful things, but my answer to your question would be because Will is both more tech savvy and is familiar with, at the very least, Electra's general body shape - plus AI isn't always successful at not revealing where the "cut and paste" lines are for a different head on a different body.

Despite what she later said, Katie & her puzzled looks seemed like she never heard of AI. Uh, not a great choice for a PR leader.

Not only was Katie not savvy enough to recognize a deep fake, but even when it was pointed out to her, she was all "but that's her face!" That was embarrassing. 

Electra, scream already. That apartment is pretty close to the restaurant, someone will hear you, and Deacon knows where you went. 

Luna is laying it on so thick that it's going to be ridiculous when Bill fully buys it and most likely helps get her out of jail. "If I stay here, I'm going to end up dead." I mean, come on. I had a tiny ray of hope when he asked her to tell him what happened with Tom and Hollis, like he was trying to record her confessing all the details. But I fear that tiny ray of hope was wildly misplaced. I like Luna, but I don't want the story that brings her back onto the canvas to be stupid and make Bill look stupid.

That had me laughing, too.  LA is so horrible and full of superficial losers...but yes, the egalitarian paradise that is NYC will solve all your problems.   Dude was certifiable off that line alone.
