Bandgeek77 February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 20 years since the first Toy Story? Wow. I still love Buzz and Woody! Inside Out won? I thought for sure it would be Anomalisa. It had some great buzz going. 3 Link to comment
Browncoat February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 (edited) No surprise there, but I'm not mad. I loved Inside Out. I loved When Marnie Was There, too, but I don't think it was Ghibli's best. Edited February 29, 2016 by Browncoat 1 Link to comment
CherryMalotte February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 Inside Out was kinda a no brainer for me. Other than Shaun I wasn't impressed with the other three. Link to comment
thuganomics85 February 29, 2016 Author Share February 29, 2016 Guess they needed to do something to make Inside Out's obvious win entertaining. Can't believe it's been 20 years since Toy Story. I just hope the fourth one doesn't disappoint, because I thought the third was close to a perfect send-off. 4 Link to comment
chitowngirl February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 I don't understand the intro music. Is there a reason behind all this old music being played? Former Academy Award winning scores? Link to comment

bmoore4026 February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 No. No no no. You don't pull this shit on me after such pretty violins and then give me this crap! 5 Link to comment

Potanical Pardon February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 (edited) Olivia Munn was fantastic in Newsroom, okay on the Daily Show, and likeable in a clumsy dorky/trying hard to gain credibility despite everyone knowing she was hired for her looks on Attack of the Show. There's an awesome video of her on Youtube doing a news report about MC Hammer, pronouncing his name as "McHammer", bless her heart, while her cohost loses it and she genuinely didn't understand why/know who MC Hammer is. Dewey Decimate February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 While the movie was worse than the fly that lands on a turd from Donald Trump's asshole, I love that song from 50 Shades. And the performance... sex up the Oscars, y'all!! 1 Link to comment
Artsda February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 Everyone started whipping out cash fast for the cookies, I think the audience is really hungry. Love The Weeknd. 1 Link to comment
wallflower75 February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 Just one thing to say--I would rather see the Bond song win than the one from Fifty Shades of Gray, if for no other reason than so I don't have to hear the following phrase: "Academy Award-winning film Fifty Shades of Gray." By all that's holy, please let the only awards that movie wins be Razzies. Having said that--I kinda sorta liked that song. And not show-related--I love that little commercial featuring Rock, Paper, Scissors. 11 Link to comment
ebk57 February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 That rock, paper, scissors commercial was adorable! 16 Link to comment
bjork February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 That was better than his Grammy performance, despite the "edgy" dancing. 1 Link to comment

thuganomics85 February 29, 2016 Author Share February 29, 2016 I thought that this entire time the reason the "See You Again" didn't get nominated was because voters turned their noses on Furious 7 for being a goofy action flick. But now that I know they were willing to nominate a song from freaking 50 Shades of Grey, I don't know what to think. 7 Link to comment
Zanne February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 The rock, paper, scissors ad was the best part of the Oscars, so far. 6 Link to comment

Bandgeek77 February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 I love the color of Reese's dress, but not sure about the fit at top. I don't think it's the fit, so much as the design. They purposely put ruffles at the top to maybe make it look like she had more cleavage? It is odd. 1 Link to comment

mtlchick February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 "We did that (looting) already and I didn't get anything the first time." Hee hee! The Man on the Street outside of the theater is hilarious. Though I feel bad for the people behind Bridge of Spies. 4 Link to comment
ByaNose February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 So Chris is still talking about the shutout of black actors?! Wasn't that three hours ago. I'm going to bed. Good luck, Leo! 7 Link to comment
Fostersmom February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 I thought Chris Rock had 3 daughters?! Oh well. How many did he say he had? 2? Apparently his wife, who he's separated from, did some shady shit to get the youngest, but I doubt Chris is as clueless about it as he's tried to claim. 1 Link to comment
KaveDweller February 29, 2016 Share February 29, 2016 Finally, The Weeknd. But Cirque du Solelil? Cirque du Soleil performs in that theater regularly, so I guess they wanted to work something in? Link to comment
