The whole JaSam stuff, it's not like I didn't know it would happen, but I thought it was very extra the way it played out. I didn't want to hurt him. He's got a name, you know. And I'm pretty sure Jason told her he loved her once, didn't he? I feel sorry for Drew. He deserves so much better than this.

There isn't enough bleach in the world to scrub my mind from that shower scene. So first, Liz decided to stay at the church during a major crisis to wait for Franco. Then we see her take care of one patient and then she shows up in the shower to bang her nasty boyfriend who is keeping things from her. Nice going.

Yes, Josslyn you were a bitch and owe the pretty cop an apology. Oscar and Joss are the answer to insomnia.

Molly and TJ are sweet. I hope Molly is going to get passed that Julian hate, because it would be nice to hear talk about other things than Julian.

I hate Franco so much. I hate how everything is a quip or a joke, how his ass was stuck and he didn't find that funny, but the situation with someone else is full of japes. Get outta here, man. And now he is such a hero. FV's hard on for the character is so gross.

How did Franco get recruited to help Dante rescue Drew?  Did I miss a scene?  Last I saw he was supposed to check on Liz's kids

At one point, when Julian was asking Joss about Oscar, you could see Franco in the background on the phone.  I assumed that meant he was checking in with Bobbie about the boys.  Then cut to the next scene and he's helping Dante with Drew.  I thought it was odd that Dante would recruit Franco but not Julian, who was sitting right there, especially since 2 extra men would have lifted that door right off Drew and we wouldn't have needed the nonsense of Franco climbing under the door himself.

Thanks.  And Julian is Drew's FIL, so that might have made some sense.

Oh, and is Curtis still handcuffed to an oh so needed bed?  That didn't make sense either since he could have been helping in rescue efforts too.

I am so disappointed in Sam, even though I know she and Jason have a history.  I just can't understand why someone would choose a robot over a real boy.  Is she going to start worrying about Jason's job impacting her and her kids' lives now, like she did awhile back with Drew?  Because I'm pretty sure Jason won't change his lifestyle for her...

But you don't get it, she doesn't panic with Jason.

This show, I swear . . .

I think they are setting up a good number of weird triangles (or whatever it would be called with this many people) here:
Jason/Sam/Drew/TB's character (can't remember her name)/Julian/Alexis/Finn/Anna

GMTA: I was trying to calculate how long the "love chain" is and there are an impressive number of links for a show that hasn't been as strong on relationships as it could be. You could potentially add Andre's name to the end of that chain, making it 9.

Edited to add that you can probably through Friz into the mix, once she finds out about The Secret. One or the other of the Jasons is bound to be free. Not to mention Scorpio will come back and be flirty with Anna....and there's even a rumor about Rebecca Budig who after all has a secret baby with Finn....

I have a headache.

He could have gotten out of bed but his leg was injured.

Someone tell FV the shaky cam just makes the show look amateur, not dramatic.

Was that trailer on the edge of a cliff or something?

Franco whined his way through helping Drew and Dante compliments him so Liz can give him a shmoopy look?? Argh.

Too much Nurse Amy. I would have rather seen Bobbie.

Liz looked pretty with her hair like that at least.

Rocco was probably house sitting the attic for Cam and Aidan.

Nope.  Not even a mention of Scotty at all.  But we got Liz and Franco having sex in the shower, so there's that.

Poor Scotty, although it's probably better for his health that Franco isn't crowding him, given that proximity to him is rotting Liz's character from the inside out.

I didn't see today's episode, but based on the previews, it's basically business as usual tomorrow?  So, seriously, nobody died or was even injured that badly during this soap disaster?  What a fucking crock!

GH ER should have been overrun with patients, gurneys, doctors, nurses, support personnel for every department. Instead? Business as usual. We can treat one patient at a time, take time to have sex in the shower, etc. What an absolute crock of an earthquake. My nine year old grandson could have come up with something more realistic than what we’ve seen the past few days. BLECH.

Yes, the list of injuries is hypothermia (Oscar and Joss), broken rib (Molly), bruised leg (Curtis), "bruises" (Drew), facial lacerations (Ava, Jim), concussion (Michael), false labour (Nelle) and leg shrapnel (Scotty)

Who did BM anger so he had to spend half the episode facedown in a bunch of aluminum pans?

Dante called Drew "Oscar's father" when he told Joss about the freezer door flattening Drew, which was dumb. Also, is it supposed to be a shock that Sam and Jason still love each other? They were married; they share a kid. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. What matters is what they decide to do about all of this.

Sam and Jason jumping hand-in-hand hopefully meets the rider in SB's contract requiring he does a heroic stunt at least once a year.

"Guys, it's Falconeri. I'll be right there." That's some genuine official police talk right there.

I'm glad they had Joss realize she was an asshole to NuCop.

ETA: I know Julian is OMG TEH EVUL, but I really wish people wouldn't act so surprised that he helped TJ and Molly. He did more than Sonny, our ostensible hero.

BM didn't need to anger anyone, he just needed to be himself in the way of a St. Jasus storyline. The only thing more unrealistic than Sonny being the romantic hero of the show is how ridiculous the plots are to make Jason look good and a moral centre.

Where is Monica in all this?  At least Bobbie had the excuse of babysitting but Monica's a doctor, she and Lucas should have been at GH helping out.

At least Franco knew about levers and simple machines, which is more than I can say for anyone associated with the Corinthos mob (Mike, Jason or Dante).  Mike at least has an excuse.

Every time Sam gets around Jason, it seems like she drops 30 IQ points, which frankly she really can't afford.  (It's as bad as Liz around Franco.)

The JaSam scenes felt like really terrible fanfiction that could have been penned by Carly. From the two of them basically rocking around in a carnival fun house, to the slow motion dive to safety and perfectly timed pyrotechnics display, to Sam's emotional outburst that only flimsily connects to her behavior from the past few months, it was all excessive and overwrought. There's no way I can buy that Sam has been longing to be with Jason when we've consistently seen her happily invested in her life with Drew. She never once seemed to consider Drew as inferior to Jason, so it's jarring for her to now act like he's some kind of consolation prize she's stuck with. I don't know if the intention now is for Sam to break Drew's heart by leaving him or if she's just going to love Jason furtively, but either way, Drew deserves better.

Drew definitely deserves better!   Not only has Sam been consistently showing how invested she has been in her life with Drew, SHE was the one who urged that they get married when he suggested waiting a while.  Annoying woman!

One thing for sure - I'm not ready for any more longing, moony eyes between Sam and Jason - so I sure do hope she womans up and is honest with Drew for a change.

BTW, I have no investment in either of Sam's pairings.  But she, Drew and Jason are featured so much that opinions are inevitable.

I think the writing is showing that they both have been in denial over the inevitable because looking back on it Drew's ass knows better than anyone that she'll will pick Jason over whoever is currently in her life because it was Drew as fake Jason that took Sam away from Patrick who had engaged himself to her who had brought her into his daughter's life as her new mommy. Sam had set up her life to become mrs. Patrick Drake and she was going to take on Emma and he was going to be the new Daddy to Danny they were going to be the brand new family until in Port Charles.

Sam had cleaned up her act too she was going to walk the straight-and-narrow because Patrick wasn't going to accept anything less he didn't want her involved with the mob he didn't want her involved with shady dealings as a PI and Sam basically signed all of that away and she was totally on board with being the wife of a doctor and upstanding citizen and then Jake began to show signs that he had Jason's memories and before you knew it as soon as Sam realized that this was her Jason or so she thought she dropped Patrick like he meant nothing to her all of his declarations of love his ring his promise to her to give her a life outside of crime she had Jason and she ran into him at full f*cking speed like a damn drug addict getting their fix. Sam bulldozing over another guy because she wants to be with Jason again and loves him more than anyone else is karma for Drew what goes around comes around.

Drew should have known that he only got with Sam because she thought he was Jason that's it and when real Jason came back he should have long ago been prepared for the fact that regardless of the time they spent together and whatever else Jason owns Sam's heart for whatever reason and it's dumb but that's the way the show writes it and that's the way the character has been written since she stopped hooking up with Sonny and being played as the drity cheap slut  comng between he and Carly Sam has been all about Jason all the time 100 1000% so really all that's happened since real Jason came back is watching the show write Sam and Drew as a bunch of morons who pretenednt to not know the truth IMVHO. Both of them have been lying to themselves and each other and it all just has been a huge waste of time Sam should have moved out and taken the kids with her to figure it out and Drew should have been focusing on trying to research the life that was stolen from him and Jason went back to kissing Carly and Sonny's asses as usual so there was no surprise there but that's the way actual adults would have handled the situation but it's this show so no one's allowed to have a brain anymore.

I picked the wrong day to dip back into this BS. None of my selected quake victims are even close to deceased. So the whole point of the quake was to rehab unpleasant characters and dumb down Sam and Liz? No thanks, I'll have none of that. A lot of times you hear or read people saying "That must have been so hard for that actor to play." Usually it's when someone plays a horrible character, a murderer, a child abuser, a violent bigot, something like that. I even remember seeing it here on Previously TV about the actor in American Crime Story who played F. Lee Bailey (Nathan Lane), because he had to say the N-word a bunch of times in a faithful recreation of the famous court scene from the OJ case.

But I think what Max Gail is doing much be very hard. Maybe harder than any of the above, because statistically speaking, he has to be telling the story of some of his friends. He's giving the performance some other actors around his age can't give anymore, because they are living it. Julianne Moore won an Oscar for Still Alice, and she was wonderful, but the hook of that story was that this beautiful, vibrant, accomplished woman of only 50 was such an outlier for what she was developing. Gail's character is exactly the kind of person who is "supposed to" have dementia. I have a lot of respect for actors who look so unflinchingly at a situation like Mike's, and make us do so as well.

A far better scene would've been for her to acknowledge that yes, of course she still loved him, but she was *in love* with Drew.  That she'd always cherish their past together and she's sorry for all he went through, but there's no going back for her.  That would've given them closure.  But, no, of course not.  Because Jason has to win and Carly needs to gloat.

This awful, awful show.

I'm not a big Sam fan, but I'm going to disagree.  I think she has a great friendly chemistry with Maxie, probably because the actresses are good friends in real life.  Not that that chemistry means anything.  GH would actually have to have friendships on this show rather than just romantic drama all the time.

"But why do you even care? Last time I checked, Mike wanted me with Brenda." DAMN, Sonny, that's hitting Carly where it hurts. I live for these fleeting moments that create weakness in Carly's armor of superiority. Mike's breakdown over Rita was pretty brutal. Poor guy has lost his companion, is slowly losing himself, and is unlucky enough to have an insensitive ass like Sonny for a son. I can't believe he really thought Mike would be okay in an apartment by himself.

I'm rolling my eyes at how effortlessly Anna's midwife was able to procure information about the birth, but I'm glad we settled the matter of Peter being Anna's child. Peter and Maxie are still working for me; there's an ease and a sincerity to their conversations, and I can understand why Maxie would open up to him.

Jason is so fucking boring, y'all. He walks around stoicly and spouts glowing shit about Carly, that's his day. This guy is in the middle of a love triangle that's not compelling at all, because he's a perfectly composed saint at all times. There's no resentment, jealousy, or pettiness at seeing Sam with Drew. Jason always being the good guy is such a detriment to the storytelling.

What's the best way to follow up a St. Jasus episode?  A St. Carly episode, of course!   If anyone needed proof that Jason is brain-injured, it's his glowing testimonial about how wonderful Carly is. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but wasn't Carly against Hannah because Sonny was interested in her, not because of AJ?

Could Michael get any stupider?  I know 7 year olds who are savvier than he is.

Poor Drew.  He's about to get hit by a ten ton truck because Sam is as stupid as Michael.  I did like how he included his family beyond Sam and the kids as things he's grateful for.  If Sam leaves him, can he keep custody of Scout?  Ruining Danny's life for the hitman who will always put Carly and her kids ahead of Sam and his own should be enough.

Peter and Maxie are working for me because it seems like Peter is trying to make up for taking Nathan away from Maxie and the baby rather than because he has the hots for her and for Maxie because she doesn't have anyone else to open up to who isn't going to go hysterical or doesn't have time for her (Sam).

I think Max Gail is really doing a good job.  I know Ron Hale is Mike for many people here but I don't know if he could have done it as well.

Another example of really hard to play is when they write in an actress's pregnancy but have her miscarry the TV baby. One of the soap operas did that, I can't remember which right now. And Caterina Scorsone on Private Practice had to play finding out her was growing without a brain, deal with that on the show, and then delivered her own child afterwards.

Even more, KeMo has not been playing Sam as yearning for Jason.  She's acted as if he's at best, an irritant.  I'm sure she wants to stick with Drew if she's still dating BM, but that really shouldn't shade the way she's portraying her character.  This leads me to believe that KeMo has not been instructed that she yearns for Jason.  I don't know what to think.  They completely dropped JaSam in the water.  I found it compelling when Jason first returned, then Jason simply skulked in the shadows while Sam went on with Drew as if the fact that he wasn't truly Jason never mattered.

Here's my dream scenario if Sam leaves Drew for St Jasus -- Drew sues for full custody, and because he has all of Jason's memories, he can testify to every murder and dirty deed St. Jasus ever committed.  I know it will never happen but imagine that!  Talk about justice!

Seems to me the audience feels how strange it is for Sam to want Jason now after telling Drew so often that they are a couple that's working. Sam is a liar who lies. She's betraying her kids' best interest to take up with a killer. It's a parallel to stupid Liz, who is also exposing her children to a killer. What a terrible message to give to impressionable people who watch this show.

It's time for the ladies to taste the wakeup call of lost custody and confused kids acting out in rebellion and troublemaking, firestarting and running away from home.

Ewwwwww!  Who has a couples shower at work?  Particularly at a hospital during a crisis when victims from the earthquake are still needing treatment?  Yuck, yuck, yuck.

That being said...wasn't the entire hospital rebuilt or renovated after an explosion I-have-no-idea-how-many-years-ago?  Because that was not a recent shower by any standards.  I know it's a utilitarian shower in a hospital, but those tiles were dated, as was the shower head.

And I was wondering...if Lulu was being all reporter-y at The Floating Rib, and Dante was off being a police officer, who was looking after Rocco and Charlotte?  Because neither of them expressed the least bit of concern over their kids' safety, and if they were staying at the Quartermaine's with Olivia, she neglected to mention that they were okay when she talked about Leo being fine.  At least one of them should have expressed concern about the kids.

Patrick got in on with someone in the work shower - Britt?  I think Sabrina even saw them, which makes it more disgusting.

I'm just now catching up but I had to laugh when Sam wanted Jason to take her to Drew and even Olivia, who has been awful lately was like "umm, but your KIDS are here and we just had an earthquake??"  And Sam was all whatevs, and of course robot Jason was just like sure l'll take you because I can't think for myself.  Give these two the Parent of the Year award!

It is amusing when contrasted against Kim packing up Oscar, with a "see you later" to Drew underneath the fridge door.   She's so not a Sam.
