It will never not amuse me that Sam had three kids fathered by three different mobsters, just like her dear old ma.

Does Drew count as a mobster?

I gave Franco not knowing about death certificates a gigantic side eye. He was a connoisseur of death in his SERIAL KILLER days.

This.  You know he has a scrapbook filled with the death certificates of his victims.

If Sam had any sense at all which we know she doesn't, she would choose to stay with Jason 2.0. Original recipe Jason never put her first. Jason/Jake/Drew is all about her and those non existent kids, horrible business decisions aside.

Didn't get to watch today's episode and I cannot get it to play on that ridiculous ABC.go app or site.  For some reason known only to the machine world my daytime shows did not tape.

I would love to see Brenda come back and take ORJason/Burton as her own.  Burton has/had more chemistry with her than with any other woman he has/had scenes with.  Burton had more chemistry with Marcel than he ever had with the current Pocket Venus. Putting Brenda with ORJason would really put a burr up Carly's butt.

Jesus. OGJason didn't even try to hide his feelings. First stop in PC? He went to his True Love! Sonny. Was there ever any doubt?

When this crap about Jason hiding ends, I just want Sam to figure out that she wasn't first on his list to come home and see. Keep Sam with Drew/whoever they at least feign mob disillusionment and interest in their kids.

She won’t :-(

I hate this show.

I always thought that OGJason had the best chemistry with Robin and  hope that Kim makes a guest appearance to work with SB.

When Sonny said that a media company could be legimate, I was waiting for him to say something about fake news.

It's a longshot, but Sam specifically mentioned that Monica was bringing the kids back to JaSam's apartment, so Monica may actually get to be in one of the first scenes involving OG Jason in Port Charles. (Although even if that's true, he'll probably just overhear her expositioning to Sam about how great it is that she's married to "Jason" and has a new baby with him.)

On a shallow note, I like that they've had Steve Burton in some softer pullovers and such. It may be back to black T's soon, but for now it is definitely more flattering, and less Borg-like.

I actually think she will...in the short term. That's just my probability forecast based on other soaps I've seen where a dead spouse resurfaces and there is a triangle.

They never want the person in the middle of the triangle to look too bad for casting aside the good partner who has been there in the dead one's absence (unless the supposedly good partner is a secret villain, which doesn't seem to be the case here). So it's usually some version of "What we had was wonderful, and I grieved over you, but now I've moved on!"

However, standard operating procedure would be to play it like Sam isn't sure she's doing the right thing, and she still has feelings for OGJason. Then "Drew" is all "I'm so grateful you chose me," happy and goofy. They make love, and the show ends on "Drew" blissfully dozing, but Sam turned away from him and looking unsettled.

This would be right out of the Hope/Bo/Billie triangle from DOOL in the mid-1990s. Lisa Rinna abruptly left the show before it went the distance, but it was definitely heading in a direction where her character "won" in the short term and "lost" in the long term. She was the Billy Miller in this scenario.

About GH specifically, I'd say the outlook would be that Sam decides to stay with "Drew," because they've made a life together. Jason blinks a lot and manfully accepts his Pain. Jason eventually starts moving on with someone else, but Sam remains obsessed with him, her relationship with "Drew" deteriorates, and ultimately Sam has a breakdown. It's all too much for her cat feces-addled brain.

It is nice to see BM Jason not sleepwalk through his scenes.   So did Julian just gift his media agency to his daughter or did sam/jason use illicit funds to purchase said media company?  Not that it makes a difference because show could have reduced the mob scenes but instead doubled-down - once again - by resurrecting a violent thug.  No wonder the cast is so bloated.

Yes! Didn't realize at the time that he was on staff!

Guess they don't do background checks.

You know, serial killer and all. With access to sensitive hospital info. He should have like a skull and crossbones on his ID badge. Or some kind of warning.

They bought it.  With OGJason's dirty money.

Sam and JasDrew remind me of two kids who decide they're going to have a lawn-mowing business and "become rich and famous."  They sound idiotic with their musings on "well, we know nothing, but how hard can it be!  And if we fail, we'll quit before lunch."

Loved Jason and Robin both as a couple and just as friends.  The scene when Jason found out Robin was dead and how he mourned for her was really good.  Wish they would give SB more material like that to work with rather than being all up Sonny's jock and emotionless all the time.

If these writers were good they would at least write in some stuff about how 2.0 has been using Original Recipe's money so everything he bought, including this media company, belongs to Jason and not him.

Yep. And I really want to see the scene we never got to watch play out; Jason finding out Robin is alive and their first initial reunion. And it will be extra goodness when he finds out what she went through for who she thought was Jason, as well.

HA! Griffin wants to give up the priesthood! Can we say that Ava's "goodies" were very good to him? LOL! I am kinda gonna worry about Griffy though. This is Ava we're talking about here. Reasonably assuming that Sam is going to ultimately reunite with RealJason, what's gonna become of FakeJason?

I thought he got fired and had to work in the parking garage.

The parking garage job literally lasted 20 minutes in the episode where Olivia Jerome put the bomb in the hospital.  He was hired long enough to be in the parking garage and find Julian tied up in the trunk, at which point Julian finally revealed OJ's plans.,

Franco got a boatload of money for selling his art collection at Ava's gallery.  He gave that money to Monica to restart the art program with him in charge.

Ugh. Why wouldn't she turn him down instead of granting him legitimacy? This show's inexplicable boner for RoHo is gross

I super don't care about the characters, but Jason having to listen to Sam enthuse about her "new guy", not realizing that she thinks JaDrew is him, was actually pretty good soap.  And then the show doused my good will by sending him to Morgan's grave, barf.

It was also nice to see Scotty, I do still like his friendship with Ava.

Alexis should be thrilled her bratty daughter is far, far away.

I'm kind of hoping that Original Recipe Jason is going to end up forging a good relationship with Ava. I never warmed to Crystal Pepsi Jason. Jason was the only one I liked in the Sonny/Carly/Jason/Sam universe when SB was playing him.  Wouldn't mind seeing Jason beat up Jason 2:Cruise Control. Ithink it's clear that Sonny and Carly are going to choose Jason Classic but maybe not Sam. With any luck, she will end up choosing Matrix Reloaded Jason, and the two of them can ride off into the sunset together never to be on my screen again.

Pretty much loving that Kristina wasn't on my screen today.  Now they just need to stop talking about her.

I see that Nina will be back tomorrow.  Boo hiss.

Hey, Father Gopher, I don’t think Griffin needs to leave the priesthood for a woman to leave. He broke his vows and isn’t sorry. He apparently doesn’t plan to change his ways. Let him go!

And does Father Gopher know about his affair with a married parishioner?  This isn't Griffin's first time at this particular rodeo.

I don't know why Alexis thought Sam would give a shit about Kristina giving up her education to follow Parker's manipulative ass across the country. Sam would NEVER see the value in getting an education over making your life entirely about a romance. Sam would NOT see red flags, she'd only see "ohhhh, that so romantic!" which is exactly how she reacted.  But fuck you GH for acting like Kristina/Parker is a totally normal relationship when it's so clear that Kristina is cutting herself off from her family, friends and education in order to be with ONE person. She's isolating herself in an unhealthy relationship and nobody but her mother can see what's wrong. Ugh.

The only good thing about Jason's return, is his quasi friendship with Ava, and Morgan's death looming in the background. Everything else is just BORING. And don't think I didn't see that misogynistic shit with Ava saying she hired an escort to readily imply she's so unfuckable and unworthy because she's old, scarred and her money is the only reason a man would look at her. Sonny never suggested he was not worthy of a piece of ass when he couldn't walk for those 3 seconds. Fuck you on that one too, GH.

Love Scott and Ava scenes. They are great together. Great chemistry. Not sexual - just as two seasoned veterans with chutzpah. Good acting.

Also love Father Gopher.

This was really gross. They should have had Scott push back on that a lot harder.

Sam and Billy Miller Jason gushing over their love while eavesdropping Eeyore mopes on the balcony, I just can't. So over the top. And Sam noticed her jacket changing location but can't notice her kids haven't been in that apartment since the summer, that's cool. Those random toys scattered around the place should really be gathering dust by now.

Griffin may not want to make a commitment to Ava but after he followed her across the globe to rescue her, then gave up a decade of celibacy to spend the night with her, I'd say she has every right to expect that she has a place in his life. His actions were significant and speak directly to how important Ava is to him.

I love me some Scott and Ava and I'm glad they revisited their friendship. It was gross that she felt the need to lie about hiring an escort, but I liked Scott's earnest offer of support. He's got a good heart underneath that crusty exterior.

Was it necessary for Jason to whip out his gun at the cemetery? Given the current climate of America I wish they'd dial back on that stuff. It sure is nice of Ava to offer her home to a man who hasn't even told her his name. We should take bets on who will be the first person to make contact with Jason (excluding Ava, of course, since she never knew this Jason). Winner gets a gift certificate for a complimentary BLT from Kelly's and a Morgancchino from Perks.

I get why he hasn't said his name or she hasn't asked (because it's a soap) but no way iin the real world, would he not have said or she wouldn't have asked by now.

And on the flip side, why wouldn't Jason go find Carly or Michael or, hell, HIS MOTHER MONICA instead of going home with a strange lady?  I know the answer is soaps, but he could have overheard what he did about the other Jason Morgan another way.

Weird with the name thing...neither Ava nor Jason has asked the other's name.  I guess she can keep calling him Patient 6 or something.  But then, he went home with someone whose name he doesn't seem to care about.  Just weird.

I've been over Sam and Jason for years, so I can't recall when those vows were exchanged.   Are those words from OG Jason?  I was confused through those scenes because I couldn't tell if Jason thought this was simply Sam's new man, or if he knew this was his imposter.  I notice she never called imposter "Jason".

SB did a pretty good job, IMO.  I always thought his only acting skills were in his blue eyes, and he was working them for all he had.

I'll fanwank it that he's worried about Kline's goons coming after him again and he wouldn't want to put Monica or Micheal in danger.

When he was at Morgan's grave he said something about Sam "and her new husband", so he must just think it's another guy and not realize who.

Bullshit to Franco's "art". Judging from the few pieces we saw on the walls during the exhibition, or in the studio, it was just moody, derivative, and slapdash. Didn't have method or technique, much less themes or thought. A kindergarten has better artists than Franco. Remember the big fishbone piece? And the BLT that was just stripes of color matching the BLT sammich ingredients? Nobody pays millions for that. In fact, frequently artists don't make real money until after death--if their work really did break the mold.

He thought it was her new man, which made her remarks that she's never had someone like him, blah blah blah cut all the deeper.  He didn't know anything about a second Jason Morgan until he overheard Ava's phone conversation.
