I'm really hoping that nuJason tells Carly he will no longer be at her beck and call to deal with Sonny.  Seeing her head explode would  bring me a lot of pleasure. 

 

In the meantime, my highlight of the day was Scott. I loved him pouring Ava a drink and telling her to wet her beak while she was ranting about the dead bird.

I have always adored Anna Devane but now I just can't stand her.  Every time she talks of avenging Duke's death I want to scream.  Duke went back into the mob to get vengeance on Julian Jerome for the death of his and Anna's baby.  It did not matter to him that Julian was not responsible for the miscarriage, his sister, Olivia, was the one who was responsible.   Julian was the one who killed Olivia.  Duke was responsible for his own death.  He ordered a hit on Julian and TJ's mother.  Julian felt he needed to take out Duke because of this.  

 

Now Anna has become a part of the mob so she can get "Justice" for Duke.  Her actions are inexcusable.  She is setting up a mob show down and we all know that innocent people always end up being collateral damage.  Robert Scorpio needs to brought back to pull Anna back from the dark side.

 

Sonny ruins everything and everyone.

God, the more I hear about avenging Duke's death, the more I want to revive him so Carlos can kill him again and dance on his body. I'm sure he'll talk to Imaginary Carlos, who'll be taunting him about killing Duke. You know, the sperm donor that became a father to him like a week ago. As he operates on the aunt of the man who Duke betrayed and was an accessory to his murder. But fuck that guy because Duke must be avenged.

Not watching the show now, but I'll find some with Dr. Finn McBain. I only like Easton with Kelly Monaco, any chance of that?   I read that Laura has a no story story which makes me sad and angry.

I am in my happy JaSam bubble.  I am pretending Carly didn't show up at the end.  Although, I will say at least this time she looked genuinely sorry she interrupted.  But GO AWAY.  Once they have food in them that is not ketchup packets and cocktail onions, IT'S BACK ON.  But I do however want to move to PC....apparently they have breakfast delivery?  Is that really a thing in other places and I just live in such a hick town I have never heard of it??

 

I LOVE the callback to 05 with the "intense" line.  He said the same thing back then.  I love it when they (the writers) do their homework.

Only in the sick, sad minds of Ron and the current writers would Duke coming back from death ultimately be used to (1) ruin Duke, (2) ruin Anna, and (3) destroy the very message of what their entire original love story was about.

Me watching the credits - hey, I totally forgot Olivia was on this show. Seriously. I really did.

The rest belongs in the unpopular thread. Yep, I have proven to myself that I'm a ride or die fan when it comes to Anna. Because I enjoyed Finola's and Mo's scenes. Other than my involuntary twitches at the mention of that darn cat's name. I have no logic to explain it. I just liked their scenes.

So, I get some more possible Finn and Tracy tomorrow? YAY. I cannot help it, I am starting to adore them. And crap-there's nothing else on this show that I can say I even really *like* anymore. I did watch most of the show the other day, without FFwdng, and wasn't bored. But nothing pulled me in except them.

Great natural chemistry, instant connection,  and the relationship -doctor/patient- isn't contrived. Looking forward to them becoming friends and maybe more down the line. Everything I like gets ruined eventually, so I hope I haven't jinxed myself.

 

WAIT. There are some more things I really like on this show. Wally's dimples, NED, and Kin Shriner's haircut. He's had the same hairstyle for what seems nigh on thirty years now, and it works for him. It makes him look a little hedge hoggish sometimes, but he's the most adorable hedge hog that ever drew breath.

So, two things:

• I loved the Alexis/Kristina scenes. I'm glad that they finally hashed out the miscommunication between them. Alexis has a wonderful bond with each of her daughters, but I love hers with Kristina the most. There's always a level of warmth there that Lexi and Nancy convey effortlessly.
• Anna's take down of Paul was fucking awesome! I have to say, as of late, the rivalry between those two is quite entertaining xD.

I think the talk between Alexis and Kristina was even better than yesterday's scenes. At least they're giving this story some weight and not pulling a TJ on it. Kristina is her own worst enemy, she just needs to get out of her own way.

 

KeMo and Billy laying around in bed together is still hot. Sam might not always be in character, but Kelly is always sexy as hell. And good that Sam finally had some decent sex since she's missing out on that for almost 10 years (save Mexico, I'll give her Mexico because that was smoking but an anomaly).

 

Carly is just weak and pathetic now. I can't even enjoy hating her, because she's reached the epitome of lameness. The less said about Sonny, the better. But I won't be convinced that there isn't something going on behind the scenes.

 

I'll never be sorry for Ava/Julian bonding scenes. I always love seeing them realize they really do love the hell out of each other.

 

Anna, Anna, Anna. I don't have a problem with you chloroforming Paul, but don't go anywhere with that piece of scum, Scummy. And for god's sake, don't let him touch you.

Anna chloroforming Paul made my day. Then I remembered it was in service of a murderous cat who didn't appreciate its original fat owner and I'm sad again. Plus, Sonny. Ugh.

Finally Kristina lets Alexis talk without assuming she knows what Alexis is going to say. And, look, progress! And I'm sure Sonny will end up fine with her too since Kristina assumes the opposite quite emphatically. I'm sure Sonny will say something along the lines of "I love you always, honey, be you…you're only girlchild after all." But with dimples.

Jason and Sam were great again today. I loved them talking about themselves (rather than Nik and/or Hayden). But Carly didn't look all that sorry to interrupt. She looked sorry that Jason wasn't snapping to attention when she called him to heel. "It's an emergency!" Only to you, Carly. It's Thursday for the rest of us.

Show is not only dragging Julian back into the Mob/Business, they're stringing him up and putting several volumes of the encyclopedia stack up so that the Moobster can kick him in the nuts for killing McWhoTheFuckCares.

 

When I saw Ava's dream about the bloody gown, I thought, "Great. Show is now needing Product Placement for Poise."

Karmically, Paul's kinda had it coming...but yeah.  Y&R's doing the same damn thing--we get something we want (or didn't know we wanted) in the service of something stupid.  Anna shouldn't be actively collaborating with the Scowl; I might actually have been okay with them working separately to the same end and then ending up together in friggin' Ecuador, or if they had at least done a better job of establishing this as Anna's lone-wolf renegade op and not remotely sanctioned by anybody before entangling her with Sonny, but neither happened.  Arg.

It's a damn shame nobody is allowed to have decent heart to hearts with friends anymore. Because I would love Robert, Mac or Felicia sit Anna down and say: "I know the last 3 years have been insane, I know you're upset about Duke, I know you want to believe he was still a good man when he died ... but he lost his way and that's part of why he died. The Duke you loved wouldn't want this for you, he'd want you to avoid the mob altogether and move on with your life. Because right now? You're being crazy."

And then move her on to a mystery she's actually allowed to solve without becoming BFFs with Sonny.

Ion even care, the JaSam love scenes were fiyah. Now that's some old school soap love scenes. Somebody on the Twitter said it was soft porn and embarrassing. Please. Back in the day, when erbody says soaps were still good, that scene would've been tame.And dayum KeMo, she almost make a bitch question her sexuality lol!!

 

I believe BM and Kemo are dating.  So they can really go to town with their love scenes, whereas I think it's different when one of the actors is married or not.

I didn't see them getting turned on by the fighting. I saw Sam getting emotional about the year she lost with her husband already and the fact that if he had gone to jail she would have lost more.

 

I thought it was bizarre.  Jakeson looked happy and jokey in the beginning of the episode, then went all dark, and then back to happy and content.  Frankly, I don't get why Sam got so mad today over Hayden and NOT angry when she initially found out about Nikolas' betrayal.  I mean she barely reacted when she found out Nikolas knew the truth about Jakeson, and then yesterday, she goes ballistic.  It was all just bizarre.

I thought BH and BM had no chemistry, and I didn't like them. And I'm a Liz fan who ships Liz with basically everyone but Sonny! But I am not going to judge fans for what they like or don't like.

I don't think BM has chemistry with Kemo or BM.  Jakeson comes off as a sweet, nice guy rather than a dangerous, imposing former enforcer.  Jakeson could be any Joe Schmo on a soap at this point.  I don't see anything unique about him as compared to the rest of the soap characters on GH.  Jason Morgan use to be a force to be reckoned with on GH.  Now . .  . not so much.

Right??  I know.  Like I said, he looks like Joe Everybody rather than a mob enforcer.  He just doesn't come across to me as dangerous or a guy that would intimidate anyone.  Then throw in Curtis' line about how lethal "that guy" is?  Please.  The writers are trying too hard to sell BM as the mob enforcer Jason Morgan.  Just let him be Jakeson Doe.

I figured out what Finn's problem is: He's a vampire/werewolf/zombie, and he's injecting himself with serum to keep himself from transforming.

Hamtaro ended up, as I put it elsewhere, mainlining lemon-lime Kool-Aid in a shower.  Combined with the hand thing it appears to indicate that he's self-medicating against something muscular or neurological, but still--that was hilariously wrong, and punctuating it with Dr. Xerox revealing he believes in God (though that led to Hamtaro's faintly Alec Baldwin-esque diatribe about God in the operating room) only more so.

 

Jason going to try to convince Sonny not to go after Carlos would have been perfect if it didn't happen at all, but at least Jason himself was the one who basically went "Yeah, he's going, but I'll try to talk him down."  This would still have been one perfect time where Carly called and he didn't come running, buuuuut...

 

Nina freaking out due to her baby rabies?  In a bizarre way, this was almost graceful in its consistency--and it's reinforcing that Franco and Nina will likely split up over this, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how doped up the writers are that week.

 

The most annoying thing about today's episode, though?  Anna shutting Andre down cold thanks to the man handcuffed to her staircase.  At least temporarily, there went our chances for #teaandsympathy.

I appreciate that Sam and Carly have been allowed to remain...whatever it is they're supposed to be. I'm not interested in seeing them go at it, especially after the Sam vs Liez thing was unnecessarily restarted.
