It's so annoying yet unsurprising how they kneecap the Alzheimer story.  And expecting the audience to believe that Sonny might go to jail, fuckin' please.

Prediction: The body is found and gets pinned on Mike due to his DNA being on it from burying it. 1-800-Diane. The photo of Mike and Charlie is used to explain his DNA and defense, they were friends and Mike helped him build the pub but he knew nothing about any body. They predictably exploit Mike's Alzheimer's some more in the process of trying to prove his innocence. Sonny also predictably, never chimes in with the truth. They shoehorn in a stupid way to posthumously bus Charlie into being the one responsible. Sonny the criminal goes free for the millionth time. Julian's business is tanked from the bad press and probably bulldozed entirely due to a warrant to rip it apart for other possible bodies. His attempt at going straight is blown to bits. The only option left is to vow vengeance against Sonny. Kim is horrified by Julian "returning to the dark side" and she leaves him only to end up in the arms of.... Sonny! All logic suspended. See she's been falling for his yellow toothed grin since he first started coming around Charlie's during all this nonsense. Sonny is a multi-tasking mobster. He can evade murder charges and woo his enemy's girl at the same time.

Does this asshole know that his son had cancer?

I want the answer to this question, too.  It seems like in any conversations Jason's had with Sam, Sonny, Carly about Julian, the fact that Julian saved Danny's life gets left out. How convenient.  How about putting it simply: ""Jason, while you were dead, Danny was dying of cancer. Julian donated bone marrow, saving his life. Sam was grateful to have Alexis and Julian to lean on . You missed that awful time when your wife and son needed you more than ever because as usual,  you put Sonny and the business first, leaving your infant son on his first night home. So Sam got to grieve your death and then face the potential death of the child you share.  Let me guess, you had no idea your own son had cancer but you know every last detail about Michael and Carly's problems with Nelle."

If he was told, he doesn't care too much about it since it's been almost a year that he graced the audience with his black t-shirt and showed where his priorities lie.  Never bothering to ask any questions about his kids in general. Bringing it up now means shit and would only serve as a plot point at this point.  It shouldn't take a year to start caring about your kids.  That character will forever suck.

So ... what was with the writing for Sonny and Jason today? Lordy, but the repetitive rationalizaton of crime and killing by Stumpy and Blink is overdone!  And then, once again, we see Sonny summon a member of the PCPD to his home to threaten him. Make it stop!!!!! I'm trying to be invested - not run for the hills when I watch.

They are so despicable. Nothing like being okay with bumping off a man because reasons and threatening a cop to bookend the episode.

I love how Jason is so desperate to get Carly out of Ferncliffe and Sonny is like, "Eh, let's not be too hasty here." I don't blame Sonny for wanting a break from that shrieker he's married to.

I also love how angry Sonny was that he wasn't in on Michael's dumb plan from the beginning. If only we knew it would backfire and Michael would be stuck with Nelle forever. That would serve him right. I'll never understand why the option of giving Nelle a giant check and a custody agreement wasn't considered.

Sonny's fumbling (or maybe MB's) excuse for buying the gastropub was laughable. We always knew the story was going to be about Sonny and not Mike, the actual Alzheimer's sufferer.

Since when is Nina a strawberry blonde, which is how the bartender/fake DEC officer described her.

Awkward plug for the Espys, Sam and Curtis. Hee. And wow, are they terrible PIs. They just expect information to fall into their laps.

Why did Valentin need to show Chip (Skip?  Whip?) the picture of Nina to get him to identify her?  Nina was with both men when the quarantine sign was put up.  Wouldn't Valentin just ask the guy if it was that woman who hired him?

Ok, now Michael's plan makes a bit more sense.  Have Nelle ask Chase to kill MIcheal, therby implicating her.  It's not a terrible plan as far as plans go.

But why give her any money at all?  Plus, give her money and she'll keep coming back for more.  By marrying her, writing her out of his will, having her sign a prenup and then divorcing her she gets nothing, which is really what she deserves at this point.

It really is hilarious.  "We think Obrect kidnapped Peter.  Do you know where she is?"  No, maybe you should investigate and find out on your own.

I don't understand how KeMo and BM aren't chewed out by the director and told to SPEAK UP. The mumble twins really do belong together. You're an actor, you're on camera, you have to be able to speak clearly. Even Mo's whispering isn't this bad. Unless you have some other issue its just rude. Like we know you don't want to be there, we can tell, but can you at least annunciate a little bit. Damn.

So why marry Michael in the first place? Nelle knew all this before the ceremony. At least with a check she gets something, and it even gives her a bit of control. She can threaten to leave town or refuse to give Michael access to the baby. It's gross she's using the baby against him, but Michael isn't exactly playing by the rules either. They both suck.

The discussion about killing Julian, simply because he wants to renovate HIS business that HE bought LEGALLY and has the bad luck of it being the spot Idiot Mike buried Sonny's first kill was vile.  How 35 year old bones are going to be traced back to Sonny is laughable.  Hell, they've charged him with crimes he's done THIS decade and he skates.  At this point how is he not just shrugging this shit off?

I'm glad Sam is taking the night off from her grueling PI work to watch the ESPY's. I wonder if she will get a bucket of chicken to go with that.

PS. Based on how many people have been held captive at Spoon Island and in particular in the stable room (it seems like just yesterday Lulu and Obrecht herself escaped!) that is pretty much a place one should automatically look for any kidnapping victim.

There should be a baby book version of keeping track of all milestone events like this so there won't ever be any confusion or inability to remember exactly when and where it happened. Mobster's First Murder?

Well, at least today she didn't sigh while reciting her lines; or I didn't catch it if she did. For at least the last two weeks, she's been sighing when she she has to speak -- to anyone. Yes,  I've been keeping track. It's more interesting than the storyline she's involved in.

I’m way behind, but I am a long time GH watcher, and the early 90’s was my hey day, as I was a late teen viewer and Sonny \ Brenda shipper.  I was enraged that Sonny claims his “worst” was Morgan’s death.  Ummmmm. Hello?  Clink Boom.  Baby McCall.  Carly’s miscarriage.  Good lord, Brenda with the wire was way more dramatic and memorable than this BS.

Sam and Curtis are the worst PIs I've ever seen.  Their big clue were that the shoes belong to a woman and they've been milking that for weeks.  The big lead was brought to them by Finn.  Jordan needs to be reprimanded for using police department money to hire them.

I think Sonny and Jason are unbearably gross and foul with their threatening people but I bet their fans must love this demonstration of how strong they are.

Why kill Michael at all?  Why not just live as a Quartermaine with more money than she can ever spend?

People on this show don't get what they deserve.  Carly certainly doesn't deserve to be as wealthy as she is from Sonny's mob money and her divorce settlement from Jax.  Jason certainly doesn't deserve all his money most of which came from illegal activities and the rest from the grandfather he completely rejected.

Nelle ran a con on Michael because she didn't get any money from Zach. Maybe if she gets an allowance from Michael, she'll go away.

Even though to us, the BryDawg version of Morgan was just some obnoxious bro who made a few bad years of the show a little worse, in the reality of the show, Morgan was Sonny's twentysomething son who was the culmination of all previous Morgans, beginning with the infant Carly squeezed out right before he shot her in the head.

So I don't mind him saying that Morgan's death is the worst thing that ever happened to him. As sad as they are, I don't think miscarriages would compare (especially not for the father) to a child who was at the center of decades of history and memories. Nor would a very short-term wife from an organized-crime marriage of convenience, nor his old girlfriend Connie, his long-lost and briefly found sister whose name escapes me, or other characters in Sonny's orbit who came to violent ends. (Strange how that keeps happening. It's almost like there's a pattern!)

Anyway, even if he was equally sad about all those other things, he sure as hell wasn't going to say it to the She-Beast. He's not that dumb. He knew what answer she was fishing for.

How funny would it have been if Sonny said the worst thing that happened to him was Deke? It’s not like Carly could argue with that. Heh.

No offense, but Brenda wearing a wire isn't even in the same universe as losing an adult child.  Nor is losing a baby in a miscarriage.  I cannot stand Sonny, Carly and everything in their orbit, but Morgan's death, of course, would be the #1 worst thing to ever happen to either of them.

Julian: "Sonny's trying to strongarm me into selling, and all of a sudden, it's difficult to get permits. It's as sketchy as when Jim Harvey was around trying to buy up the area. But I found this picture of his dad and the original Charlie....."

Kim: "OMG! You're going back into the mob and retaliating! You're slipping into your old life!"

Considering Julian doesn't know what the fuck Sonny wants with his bar, he's doing everything above board and legal, and isn't even away Sonny and Jason are going to take him out JUST because he's not selling (something even Jim Harvey didn't do)..... HE'S NOT GOING BACK INTO THE MOB!

Sorry, but most people agree that the worst thing that can happen to you is the loss of a child.  It's not supposed to be something that happens as parents expect their children to outlive them, but, of course, it sometimes does.  And, while I'll grant you that miscarriages and newborns dying are very tragic, it's still not the same as losing a child that you have raised and loved their whole life.  And Brenda?  Nobody even died over that, so not close at all.

Let's put it this way, the show's not surviving on Joss and Oscar as the "hot young couple".  That's why you need a good group of twenty/thirty-somethings.  I mean, Michael got married for the first time and the story's all about his mommy.  That's ridiculous!

Watching/thinking of Joss and Oscar as the “hot young couple” makes me need a shower - it’s kiddie porn. Aren’t they like 14 years old?

Yeah, its gross. If they had aged them to 18/19 that'd be a different story. They aren't the rare teen actors with real chops either. No Natalie Portmans and Leo Dicaprios here. They suck. I don't want to watch them involved in anything that requires even moderate screen time. They can have their puppy love but don't sell it as an adult romance and main focus please.

It's time to pry this show out of the bitter clutches of the 40s and 50s screen hoggers and share the wealth a little bit. The FV pets, Mo/SBu/LW cabal, and now free agent KeMo ain't the draw that they used to be or ever were. I'm not saying they have to sit on the porch in rockers playing checkers but its way past time to move them aside whether they bitch and moan about it or not. And that bitching brigade includes Frank.

And move on from the fucking mob garbage already! Its not 2000. Times have changed. The response to Jason's "I'll take care of him" for Julian yesterday rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. That is to say they were completely disgusted. I'm just happy viewers are starting to see what horrible people Sason really are. That they're criminal killers that the writers have gaslit the audience into believing were heroes for twenty years. If you make them mobsters, fine, but portray them as such. Nobody watched Tony Soprano and thought, this guy is really likable. He kills and cuts people up into little pieces because he really cares or some shit and has a family that he loves, I guess, so its all ok. Go Tony! No we hated him because he was contemptible and the obvious bad guy. Law enforcement worked to bring him down not praise and help him. I guess Guza missed that trying to turn PC into his wet dream vision of The Godfather. Time to take this show back to the hospital and WSB as the main focus, along with the media angle. Real heroes and antiheroes you can root for.

I'm sure Sonny/Carly/Jason are going to scream at him 'til they're blue in the face, but I kinda loved Kevin heading off to visit Laura without caring a wit about what that meant for Carly.  I certainly don't care a wit about what's happening to her.

Maybe Dr. Lazarus refers to Ryan who is also thought to be dead.

Port Charles really lives in another dimension if they haven't had a case of West Nile in 10 years.  We get cases of West Nile every summer up north here.  Also, you don't quarantine for West Nile.

In today's "Sam and Curtis are the worst PIs ever", they tell Maxie that she's no longer on the list of possible people who kidnapped Peter  Why tell her at all that she was on the list? She was in the hospital when he disappeared so she always had an alibi. Why cause her the pain of knowing Sam and Curtis were suspicious of her? As for "Nina could never do it", didn't she for the birth and kidnap Avery a few  years ago?  And how do they know that Obrecht hasn't been at her home in weeks unless they broke in?  Just because no one has seen her doesn't mean that she wasn't there.

Kathleen is far too good an actress for this show even when she's chewing the scenery. I like the metaphor of using Faison's lighter to light the Molotov cocktail.

Carly looks good in a straight jacket.  She's just as disgusting threatening everyone as Sonny is.  And Carly, you don't have any say in your medication because you're in a prison psychiatric hospital.

Because MIchael's planning on divorcing her.

But she didn't know that.  Michael's plaaaan depends on Nelle trying to kill him as soon as she has a chance to get to his money.  In other words, Nelle being as stupid as he is.  (She probably is but it's a lot to count on.)

Nelle can still cause a lot of legal trouble for Michael and the Quartermaines if he divorces her as soon as the baby is born even if there is a pre nup.

So, Liesl lights up the molotov cocktail and throws it in the corner and Nina just stands there going 'oh no'.  Uhm, turn around, open the door and hightail your ass out of there.  I mean, that might be what she ends up doing tomorrow, but the standing there wringing her hands today, annoyed me.  Also if they have Maxie saving Peter, I will be pissed.

When you get Chase out of Nelle's orbit, JS is actually a decent little actor.  I thought he did a great job in the scene with Valentin, the sarcasm up against Val's, 'just because I was standing over the body with the weapon, and I'm a criminal, does not mean that I did this, so let me go'.

Better Call Ashford and McCall. They are the worst PI's to ever live. I think Josslyn and Oscar could do a better job. Scratch that, Jake and Emma could do a better job. And can someone explain why there aren't real cops or WSB agents pursuing Peter? This isn't just some dude who embezzled money or cheated on his wife that needs catching. Not that I think Sam and Curtis could handle that either.

Jake can get run over by a car again and stay dead this time, but yes to Emma. She was the only one to notice that her grandma Anna wasn't really Anna and it only took her five minutes, when no one in Port Charles knew anything for months on end.
