Uh huh. I also got a lot of satisfaction when Robin pissed off Carly yet again when she told Nik that Spencer (Jon at the time) was his when Jax and Carly were trying to raise him. Not because I liked Nik more than Jax but just because it pissed off Carly and made her relive the whole Michael situation.

Wait....What???? Carly was raising Spencer??? wtf

It was how Carly and Jax started.  Courtney died after having her baby, and Jax was still her husband.  Carly was invested in the baby since Courtney was her BFF.  The baby was named John after Jax's father, and they called him Little John.

At some point Jax and Carly knew Nikolas was the baby daddy, but they kept it from him.  Of course it was wrong, but I rooted for them to keep him*.  Self-appointed bio-dad-outer, Robin, spilled the beans.

*I'm just realizing how evil I am.  I have always rooted for the person passing themselves as the parent.  I guess it started with Michael, and extended to Marcie on OLTL.  Although I did root for Starr to get baby Hope back.

I say this as someone who's never been a Sam, especially  re: her relationship with Jason. The issue was that she was drugged and only semi-conscious when she went into the water, so it's not like she could just kick a little and swim to the surface. SBJason got her to wake up for a second and cough up the water after pulling her out of the harbor. It seemed like BMJason was the one, with both lines and behavior, who was emphasizing how fragile/messed up he believed Sam was as a result of what she'd been through.  BMJason seemed motivated to over-emphasize her fragility to puff himself up as her big, strong protector husband not about to allow "imposter" Jason with his nefarious intentions near her (also because he already felt his Jason status threatened by the insta-love and acceptance as the 'real Jason' that SBJason received from S&C).  The writing for SBJason somewhat emphasizing Sam's fragility is (IMO) to show what a hero the real Jason was for saving her/to re-invigorate the old "Stone Cold" guilt about Sam being a target because she's connected to Jason who has mysterious people coming after him.  It didn't seem that Epiphany thinks Sam is a fragile kitten so much as she was annoyed at the Jason-Jason drama going on in Sam's room, especially BMJason's yelling.

Except she's still in the hospital resting!  And good point that Liz has been up and around with a gunshot wound but I haven't seen Sam's butt leave that bed.  I had SURGERY near my baby maker and the hospital kicked me out the same day! I know. Soap hospital not real hospital. It's just...all this attention to Sam and Sam crying in the hospital flashes me back to monkey virus Sam when I hated her the most. Wow I never got over that I guess.

Yikes, who did Carolyn Hennesy piss off in the makeup department yesterday?  She looked like she was doing a revival of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"  Also, while I don't hate this twin storyline overall, I do hate the "that dirty imposter" implication that's been used at every g.d. turn in regard to BMJason.  Because, yes, what a long con he's been running by first refusing to believe he's Jason and then not acting in any ways Jason would act.  What a manippleator.

Also, did Sonny actually make Griffin leaving the priesthood about HIM?  "You were committed to saving my soul."  OMFG, you egomaniac--not every decision everyone in the history of the world makes is about you.

Yes, but you weren't being used to prop the return of Steve Burton/the "two Jasons" rivalry. Griffin told BMJason and Franco (neither of whom are Liz's legal family, btw) that Liz's gunshot wound looked worse than it was; she 'just' needed a blood transfusion. Basically, BMJason had to be occupied in that moment with taking care of Jason's not-severely-injured first baby mama, so that 'real Jason' could then be the true hero saving his love, Sam, from kidnappers who drugged her with something and then threw her in the harbor. Sam has to be the true/real victim everyone is super concerned about, for the sake of storyline.

So when Liz finds out Franco's lies, she will leave him. Will we be treated to OGJason heading Liz's way? Oh Joy

Will someone please place a heavy duty mike on Kelly Monaco? I'm tired of straining to hear her lines. And her "I don't give a fuck expression".

I love this sentence so much that I want to marry it then shoot it in the head while it's giving birth to my asshole son.

Me too.  I think she's done fairly well in the confused, wtf is happening right now moments.

Having said that, I found it odd that Jason says he's going to check on her discharge papers but she stays lying in the bed.  He comes back and says she can leave and she still stays lying in the bed.  Most people would have been up and getting dressed waiting for the official release.  I also found it ironically funny that when she got home she was wearing tight jeans and those seventeen inch heels, like whoever, Alexis or Jason went home to get her some clothes to change into, and they picked out that outfit, instead of like sweats and running shoes, which is what most people would wear leaving a hospital.  Eh, I clearly overthought the moment.

Of course he did! It’s always all about Sonny! That cracked me up, as it was totally in character, but then Sonny grilling Ava about St. Petersburg like she’d set up the whole thing was so idiotic. Yes, Sonny, Ava got burned and had a risky  surgical procedure just to mess with Jason. WTF?

OGJason is going to find out Liz nearly married NuJason while believing he was OGJason and just think that's soooo romantic.

He already found that out from Ava when she was telling him the background on NuJason. For a moment he thought she was talking about NuJason marrying Sam. He seemed a little surprised about an interrupted wedding to Liz, but no real reaction.

Color me shocked, shocked! ? I say, when the Shebeast said “Robin” with a straight face, let alone a smile, when Jason said he gained back two people he thought he’d lost. And that she didn’t blame Robin (YET) for the mixup.

I was literally ????? when she plastered herself all over him, trying to crawl inside him, blathering on about their “friendship” like it was a Love For The Ages.???

I’m just sticking around until Kimberly comes back for her reunion with Steven.

There’s no point in my snarking over how this show made a BIG.FUCKING.DEAL about how Robin was Jason’s “Best Friend” when she “died,” because that had nothing to do with the truth, and everything to do with Jason’s MANPAAAAAIN.?????????

Does the Frank show  really hate Tristan Rogers? Because I totally expected Finn to say he got a call AND text from ROBERT!FUCKING!!SCORPIO!!**

**Yeah, still bitter but grateful he’s still alive. BUT.  BITTER.???

It's not about that though. SB didn't beat him up because Franco is a serial killer while he is a "mere" mob killer. He beat him up because he remembers Franco as someone who personally targeted him and the people he cares about.

This perfectly describes how SBJason is a sociopath.

I think it would be interesting to go into the differences between SBJason and BMJason even though they have the same memories and the same genetic makeup.  The differences are 1. being raised by Monica in the Quartermaine mansion as opposed to whereever and however Drew was raised and 2. the brain damage.    Who would Jason be without that?

I will be genuinely pissed if Liz is penitent with JaSix when she was a defiant, self-pitying snotbox with Jakeson, especially since Jakeson is the one that was actually wronged.

Why was Jason shot on the pier five years anyway?  And who shot him?  I have a feeling it was Faison, but have never understood why.

Franco.  Omg.  How the hell could he believe that people would blame him for his actions when he was three years old, if he indeed pushed Drew down the stairs?  An event which no one saw, and which none of the participants would remember.  How self-centered is the guy?

Because he followed that up by becoming a serial killer. And honestly, if one of my siblings fell down the stairs - none of my family members would ever think I'd done it - which makes me think it wasn't the first disturbing thing he'd done.

Which is great, since Liz supposedly has super rare blood. But didn't seem to cause much concern to the staff of TFGH this gunshot wound. Liz should be cancelled from all health insurance at this point. How can anyone afford to have her premiums? How many times has the woman been shot, in car accidents, attacked and other suffered injuries?  Why not just have Liz pushed down hard, suffering either a sprain or perhaps a possible head injury. And with her last brush with death, BMJason was concerned and decides to go with her. Sam was fine and insists that he go with Liz. She'll finish up with the police and call him. Either to meet at the hospital, home or at the Qs. Which would allow for the crazy kidnapping to continue. Instead we get Liz shot and nobody freaking out. Not Monica. Griffin was more worried about Ava. Rather than his friend being shot and bleeding out. Nope. He was just "Eh, it is just a flesh wound. No biggie. Why should I be here rather than with Ava?" Weird.

I look forward to Olivia and Ned getting their every-60-days episode in...I guess, late December? Is that the schedule? Because I really want a progress report on their extremely slow Lord and Lady Macbeth act. Maybe they'll get an acceleration with Thanksgiving opening up the possibility for holiday cooking hilarity.

I hope the show won't reverse the usual Quartermaine Thanksgiving angst by allowing obnoxious Olivia to succeed at producing a multi-course feast. Did Olivia learn her lesson from Monica's verbal smackdown? I doubt it.

Franco is an apparently unrepentant serial killer. That is, he still secretly hugs himself for his specialness as a killer/artist, and the show usually lets him get away with it. He should have been wiped from the canvas long ago.

It can. It all depends on your insurer, your plan and if Liz has union insurance or if she has private. But how the hell would a normal person with her claims NOT be bumped up into a higher premium. Or be a major cause why the GH employee health plan maybe expensive.  That would be a fun day for a claims rep to investigate. "Excuse me, Miss Webber. Can you tell me about your daily life. And why you have been shot multiple times. Why you have been hospitalized at least once a year for serious attacks for years? I'm trying to help you and save on your insurance!"

It's funny, I was watching back then and I don't remember the storyline at all, just the glorious conclusion.

I zoned out with all the memory download/upload explanations to Anna but if indeed Drew was sent away from his family (even for his own safety), surely that would be a pretty traumatic memory, even for a young child and possibly not completely wiped out with the memory transfer.  Could that be the thing that differentiates Drew from Jason?

And I have to say, him beating the ever living crap out of Franco just might be my fav soap moment this year. How he went after him again in the handcuffs. Go Jason! It made me so happy.

I’m amazed anyone in Port Charles can keep a health insurance policy, given the shootings, natural disasters, and general level of violence in town.

The only time this show had someone lose health insurance was for Greg Vaughn’s Lucky. Which was ridiculous in itself because by virtue of his job ( the whole union thing), and it being his back pain due to his fighting Manny, it was BEYOND STOOPID, and was only for plot-give him a drug/pain killer addiction story, jealousy over Liz and Patrick friendship, leading to him boinking Maxie, so that Jason and Liz would have their chance.  Fully knowing it wouldn’t last.????????

Carolyn Hennessy looked awful at the Metro Court with MB. It was (I think) due to bright lighting & a early shooting time. She looked much better when doing the jail scenes with SB. There was low (dark) lighting and a possible later shooting time.  She looked totally different in both scenes. IMO!

Had to look high and low for the answer to this.  The man is Faison, and here's the explanation

n 2012, a man that looked like Duke Lavery appears at a Swiss mental institution where Duke's stepdaughter, Robin Scorpio-Drake is being held captive. This man is responsible for moving Robin from the Swiss facility before her mother, Anna Devane, can find her there. The man later appears in Port Charles, and it is revealed that he had been in Port Charles the previous year, to orchestrate the transfer of Sonny Corinthos' assets to his daughter Kristina's name by threatening Sonny's accountantBernie. This man also worked with Joe Scully, Jr. Joe had his son, Trey Mitchell, marry Kristina. Joe then tried to murder Kristina so that Trey would inherit all of Kristina and Sonny's assets, but it was botched. The man appearing to be Duke then sent Joe to Pier 52 to kill Bernie so that he couldn't tell Sonny or his enforcer Jason Morgan about what they had done. On the docks, Joe shoots Bernie, then Jason shoots Joe. When Jason goes to check on Bernie, the man who looks like Duke appears and shoots Jason in the back. Duke then kicks Jason's body in to the harbor. Bernie dies and Jason's body is never found.

The fake Duke was actually Faison in a latex mask.  Fake Duke and Anna went to the Swiss Alps for a romantic getaway.  Robert figured out that something was not right with "Duke" and followed them.  He exposed FakeDuke by throwing a pot of oil/cheese fondue in his face which melted the mask.  Those masks were pretty popular at the time.  Dr. Obrecht wore an Anna mask during a prison visit Faison so she could test his loyalty to her.  After she helped him escape, he kept trying to get her to wear the Anna mask so he could have sex with her.
