And he said it like, "people wanted to play with their toys and shit..." Hee! Really Ryan? People as in three little girls? Yeah I totally don't get them not grabbing their purses and drivers licenses and heading out the door. As someone who got moved around a lot as a kid, I feel sorry for those little girls. Especially the oldest. Her mother clearly has poor judgment, and she more than likely looks out for her little sisters. I noticed she took the initiative to ask Rapey if they could have breakfast first before driving back. Because two adults apparently couldn't figure out that that might be a good idea. And why was he in such a rush? Did they have to move right away?

Your daddy sounds like an absolute riot! I think that counts as a "good secret."

There was so much more in that conversation that was not said out loud.

My first thought was that Sarah (Ryan's girlfriend) was the one he was trying to insult, because he was kind of hinting that SHE should have gotten the girls away from their toys to eat breakfast, as well as that she should have prepared breakfast for Ryan, as well, because, y'know - he's "wasting away, from stress" (or, the fact that Sarah isn't the Suzy Homemaker he thought she would be.)

My second thought was - where were they staying, that they have toys with them?  As Ryan so clearly mentioned, they were living NINE HOURS away - it wasn't like they took a quick ride down to the OC to see their new home.  Were they staying at Tamra and Eddie's?  If that was the case, there really was no reason for the mother of those three girls (well, four, but the baby was too young to eat actual food at that point) make sure the girls ate something.  I don't think Ryan knows, nor does he care, anything about what goes on with raising children, even though he has younger siblings.

My third thought - lack of communication between Ryan and Sarah.  Ryan could have said "We have to be at the new house for filming, let's make sure the girls eat before, so we can get right on the road from there".

My fourth thought was that Ryan is lazy, entitled and whiny.  He is angry and bitter that life hasn't handed him what he thinks he deserves without having to work for it.  We've seen it time and time again.  Simon got him the job at the Mercedes dealership.  He didn't like it because he had to stock shelves with auto parts and look for them when the mechanics needed them.  The parts were too far away for his lazy ass to walk.

Then, he wanted to become a state trooper or cop, or something.  That was too hard, because he had to take a test, and pass a physical (well, we now know he wouldn't have passed the physical because he was abusing his body with steroids at the time).

The last thing I remember that showed how lazy he is, was when he opted to go to jail instead of doing community service.  The community service (cleaning parks, sides of the highway, whatever) was too hard - it was easier to just go and lay around a jail cell for eight days or whatever it was.

I understand a mother's love, and I understand it's difficult with a child who has problems, but it is also up to Tamra, at this point, to realize that handing him everything he needs or wants is not the solution.  He is not even grateful for anything--complaining about the house, etc. and just barely thanking Eddie and Tamra, with hardly a handshake and an awkward hug.  Tamra is blaming herself for Ryan's issues, and he is guilting her into that, because he knows that works with her.

I don't think we've ever seen Ryan look happy or laugh.  Even when Ava was born is was all "woe is me" and "how hard that was"....holy hell, man!!  The mother of your child just gave birth - stop being so selfish!!!

It will be interesting to see where Ryan winds up in about three to five years from now (or, three to five could be his prison sentence), when Tamra can't financially support him.

Yea, I'm not one to question Brooks's choice of treatments. I've said from early on that someone choosing to stop chemo and try more alternative therapies doesn't bother me a bit. I'm of the mind that I'd probably never even try chemo, and go straight to that route. I respect people's medical choices. The issue I see is, his stories don't add up. One minute he's doing chemo, then he's not. Then he's taking the Revrsetrol as a replacement for chemo, then he's taking it to boost his immune system FOR chemo. He can drink, no wait - he can't drink. Vicki goes to his appointments and keeps watch over his binder, except no - she works and doesn't have time to go to his appointments.

No one's business really. Except they chose to use it as a storyline and the more they talk about it, the more these discrepancies pop up.

But my thing is if you are looking THAT closely to everything that is said and stringing it together so it makes sense you ARE going to see inconsistencies because people misspeak all the time or are making one point but others are taking it to mean something else or think you're explaining it in reference to what YOU'RE thinking about and not so much the message THEY are trying to convey. If that makes sense... LOL.

I can't have a conversation in a day about anything without using the wrong terminology and then correcting myself when I see people's amused reactions at my mistake with "oh you know what I mean." Add the fact that whenever Brooks has spoken on the matter it is usually tacked onto or in regards to a conversation so and so had ABOUT Brooks situation. He has to backtrack or revisit information that has already been very possibly incorrectly shared so he is then forced to discuss it using his first hand information plus Vicki's or someone else's second hand misspeak which makes it sound like he's full of contradictions. I mean isn't a lot of this "information" based on how Vicki has presented some of the details and then compared to what people hear directly from Brooks. Just because what Brooks says contradicts their understanding of how Vicki explained it in a previous conversation doesn't mean that Brooks in the one who is inconsistent.

I think a lot of the "inconsistencies" really arise out of the fact that Brooks has to clarify Vicki's muddled version or everything while at the same time trying protect Vicki's image of the supportive significant other so when he's clarifying he's also trying not to contradict what Vicki has said so as to not make her look bad. This in turn makes him look like he's got a million different stories. Another thing is that Vicki doesn't want to talk about it so when she does she's pretty frazzled and incoherent, bothered and resistant so I'm not surprised that her version of things aren't completely clear being that she doesn't even want to share too much to begin with. I think some more of those inconsistencies stem from the fact that Vicki wants to abbreviate any conversations about Brooks  cancer, that she can't manage to avoid, which  means that she's throwing out information and it's not that thought out because she's desperately trying to abbreviate this information that she's unwillingly sharing.

Yes, definitely with traffic and pit stops. Also, CA is huge. From LA to SF, it's a 7 hour drive. It's an additional 2 hours to SD (south) and several more hours north of SF to the border.

But you would drive straight up 5 through the central valley to Sacramento and pick up 80 east to get to Auburn.

Concerning the nine or ten miles Ryan had to drive to OC, was he exaggerating or does it really take that long? I know it takes about eight hours to travel the length of Florida south to Miami, but I seem to recall this came up before and it was a lot less time.

As others have said, probably with the kids and needing to make stops it would take 9 to 10 hours; without kids and maybe on short stop, he could get there in less than eight.  We used to go to Donner Lake, another hour up I-80 from Auburn, but it usually took around seven hours, with one quick stop, on the way to get to Auburn itself.  We left from the South Bay area of greater LA, so it's probably about an hour less than from OC (doesn't Tamra live in Ladera Ranch or around there?).  That's with no So Cal traffic of course!

My only take-away from this episode was the fact that Shannon was cooking the family dinner in the catering kitchen. AHA! Gotcha Shannon! She obviously built two kitchens in her house so she could have one for show and one for actual, you know, cooking of potatoes and chili and other stuff.  The real question this raises is does Heather's Ramada Inn have two kitchens right next to each other too?

And another question. Why has no one asked Shannon why her house is for sale, and what their plans are? Maybe she is trying to move out of the OC now since she can't go to any of the restaurants anymore due to the affair.

Heather will probably have three (one more than Shannon) :p

IIRC Shannon said smaller and closer to the water.  So she may be going for a beach house.  Although there are views from the development Shannon and Heather are in  they are not exactly within walking distance to the beach.

Apparently the lunch had long lasting ramifications.  I just thought Shannon was a little determined to get a response and maybe a thank you from Vicki but I guess it set the stage for a split.  http://www.eonline.com/news/698773/real-housewives-of-orange-county-s-shannon-on-the-state-of-her-marriage-and-huge-unresolved-vicki-battle

Here is what is odd-Tamra claims to talk to Vicki every day so apparently she wants the dark side in her life.

This whole show is BOOOOOORING.

It's time for fresh meat, someone fun and enrgetic ... with money.  Vickie's life is boring, Tamra is a loser, Heather can stay, Lizzie is too settled, Tall chick is another loser with a boring life and husband..plus no fashion diamond or house porn.  And the one that got cheated is an old lady, as in her vibe is soooo old unless she is drunk.

Then he has to pack.  And pack some more.  Why the Hell didn't his inconsiderate mother just call North American Van Lines after she leased his house?  He has to do EVERYTHING.

Except feed them I guess.   Poor kids.   I don't understand why their mother hadn't said something except considering she chose to procreate with Ryan tells me she doesn't have great judgement herself.

I hate Ryan for a lot of reasons and I think he will be as bad a parent as his mother was to him. But his griping about the drive, not wanting to delay geting on the road by "going out to breakfast" reminded me of my grandparents, mom and dad (countless uncles and aunts) and myself when I am trying to wrangle friends into a long car ride.

I forgot to tell you all that I'm a psychic. I predict that in the finale we'll learn the Brooks has been "miraculously" cured of cancer and he and Brianna are now best friends. Tamra and Eddie will get baptized on the beach right after Ryan and Sarah's wedding ceremony. Shannon and David will have a re-commitment marriage ceremony in their backyard. Heather and Terry will be shown having dual facelifts inside a special "surgery room" in their new house, and Meghan and Jim will announce she's pregnant, with twins. Oh yeah, and Lizzie will announce that she will return next season.

Now all that would have made a better season.

Yep it's a thing.  Just finished a huge remodel job and my client not only wanted a huge kitchen, but a large, separate catering kitchen nearby - and and enormous outdoor kitchen.   All this for a woman who never cooks!!!   Rich people problems.

When Heather & Terry were discussing the tree, it really made me laugh.    Years ago my husband and I came up with a very workable solution for the "opinion" argument.   Because for us, it's not just home, but we work together too.  When he wants my opinion on something I ask, do you really want my opinion, or do you just want me to agree with you, I can do either one.  If I'm set on a specific design, I will narrow the question down to one aspect.   Turns out that worked well with my kids too.  When my daughter was shopping for a prom dress (hell on earth), before we went into the store, asked if she wanted my opinion, or for me to say every dress looked great, or was I there just to hand over the credit card.

I agree with everything you said. I commented on the breakfast issue before, and I even wondered why Tamra couldn't at least offer to babysit the kids or at least the baby while they were gone. I was trying really hard not to criticize Sarah because every parent knows how hard things get with a newborn. I now want to confess my evil thoughts:

I know she probably was up a lot the night before with the baby and Ryan should have enough caring to help her by getting up off his ass and getting the older kids around. But since she should know by now he won't, why didn't she? She's not a first time mother, she knows the drill. Most mothers will take care of their kids needs before their own needs.

I hope there were snacks in the car for the girls to have on the way, but the fact that they didn't get breakfast tells me there probably weren't. I thought ok, she sees her boyfriend is getting agitated with the girls for wanting to eat, if there were snacks of some sort in the car she could have gone out and gave them something to tide them over until they could get a proper breakfast. But from what they have shown of her and Ryan there probably wasn't anything in the car for the girls. I just don't understand these people.

But they'd have to get through the 405 first, which is often a nightmare between OC and the Valley. Unless the 5 all the way up? Still, it's usually a pain in southern ca. Plus, kids.

Yes to this whole post Ryan is just beyond lazy.

I forgot the opportunity Simon gave Ryan. It definitely would have been a great opportunity for a young guy with a little hustle and want. My father in law started out working as a mechanic's helper as a young man. He ended up owning a dealership. He worked hard and figured out how to do what he had to do. Ryan looked down on the job because he thought he was better than it.

So at their luncheon, Vicki told Shannon to "put a pin" in the Brooks/cancer talk.  So that means she wants to talk about it later?  Dumb ass probably thought that meant to stop the talk by popping it with a pin.

Heather was excited for her Mom to "collabo*RIT*" with her on that stupid etching.    I am so annoyed with her new tick of smoothing her hair behind her ear.

Both Tamra& Ryan = unbelievable stupidity.   Eddie & Sarah - good luck with your idiot significant others, you're both just as stupid for getting involved.

Even the 5 all the way is bad because you have go through Downey, Commerce (doesn't it narrow around there?), East LA and then Downtown and traffic is pretty bad that way.  I don't know if the 5 has a carpool lane.  Traffic is bad from the airport to the Westside, but least the 405 has a carpool lane all the way from OC through the Valley.

OK so this a quote from Gotham talking about baby batman BUT all I could think of was MEGHAN! This is why we harp on her age. It's not that she's 30 (big friggin deal) it's that she acts like a dam teenager. She is gawky, mean, hormonal, dismissive of "adults" and DUMB!!!

I find this whole "show us your medical records" SO nasty I just don't have words for it.. What your medical records say are no bodies business. In real life (and not reel life) people would get restraining orders for people like Megan...Psyco

I thought Jim, Heather and Shannon mentioned showing the medical records to cease this endless drivel. Would a restraining order stop someone googling information. Sure, she couldn't taunt Vicki to her face but Meghan's making phone calls and reading blogs. Would a restraining order help? This, unfortunately, is Meghan's storyline. Shit stirring just like mentor Tamra. It's also sort of Vicki's storyline and Brooks is featured a lot too. Bonus! Edited by turbogirlnyc

May be because of BS articles like this-with direct quotes from Brooks-the others are asking questions:  http://www.realitytea.com/2015/03/20/vicki-gunvalsons-brooks-ayers-cancer-not-responding-chemo-shannon-beador-holistic/

This article would have been before Vicki went to Oklahoma, before Shaonnon's party and certainly before lunch on April 15th.  I am not a believer in turning over medical records and Brooks with his motor mouth  is leading readers to believe he has explored Shannon's doctors.  Hardly the Brooks has his own team of doctors.

Bottom line. It was my choice. Sometimes the treatment is just not worth it. Sometimes quality of life is better than quantity.

Is Brooks lying? Maybe. But how many people watching this crapfast may now look at the next person and question their status? There are some Idiots out there.

And if Brook IS lying I will be furious at him. But frankly, I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt to one person who is lying about cancer  then open the door to question people who are legitimately sick.  I am just not going to go there if there is even a slim chance that Brooks is sick.

First, I am so sorry you are going through all of this, truly sorry.  Second, I am dealing with a health issue and that bolded area stood out to me and spoke to me completely.

I honestly think, Brooks has told several versions of his treatment plan to the different HWs, hence their confusion and ensuing questions. Then to top it off, articles like this where he is "quoted" make it even worse, more confusing, added together with Vicki getting all the different stories confused/mixed up with each other and you have the perfect formula for this crap season we are watching. He has been saying 1 thing in interviews and then something different on the show, the man can not keep his stories straight and neither can Vicki. IF he were telling the truth, there would be no confusion and very little difference in his story to each of the HWs.

So the world renowned doctor that Shanon has been braging about is a holistic one?

1 of the Dr.'s (the City of Hope Dr.) she, Shannon, recommended used both Traditional/Western medicine and Holistic/Eastern medicine according to what Shannon said on the show and this was the Dr. that Brooks claimed he got 2 flat tires going to and never rescheduled . Maybe the 2nd one, she gave him 2 different Dr.'s, was strictly holistic. He did end up using a Dr. that did not use Tradition Western medicine with the resveratrol treatments.

The Duggars have two kitchens. They have the regular kitchen and then a bigger, industrial type one in back. So I guess maybe it's either a large family thing or a rich people thing. Or a reality tv thing? LOL. I guess I could see Shannon having the second kitchen in back for catering parties. A lot of people tend to congregate in the kitchen at parties. Maybe she wanted it free of people cooking, so her guests could hang out?

According to Brooks-but Shannon clearly said something else.  I think Brooks is what I call a straddle-feet planted on both sides of the issue.  Here is what makes no sense-Vicki called Shannon back in October and told her of Brooks' cancer.  At that time Shannon claims to have spent the day finding the referrals.  Brooks went to CUT Fitness on or about March 20th and made the pronouncement he was quitting chemo.  His last chemo session was January 23rd-according to Brooks.  Shannon talked about the referrals at CUT Fitness so I am curious what took the guy so long?  Aren't his numbers "checked" shortly after chemo or shortly before a new round?  He made a big deal of saying "as of today" well the date would be about 10 past when his chemo would have been scheduled.  So he had time and energy to find Dr. Cellulite/resveratrol but had two flat tires getting to Shannon's referral.

I am so wanting to side with Brooks because I don't want him to be strong armed in showing his medical records but the dude has got to start telling consistent stories.  He is going to the press announcing the state of his health.  This is no longer just reality TV fodder extemporaneous discussions.  He is wanting the attention.

Sarah may be breastfeeding and didn't have extra pumped to leave the baby. IIRC, Ryan said they wouldn't be back for several  days. I also think Tamra wanted nothing to do with babysitting kids that aren't really her grandkids. She probably didn't want to take care of an infant that long either. That whole "I want a baby" storyline from past season was just that - a storyline since she had nothing else going. Needless to say, Eddie would want a houseful of kids for several days either.

I hate to say it, but if Tamra is somewhat disinterested in the three oldest girls, I don't blame her.  Sarah has relationships that are fast and furious, and then end with all bridges burned.  When she and Ryan break up, she and her children will be out of their lives forever.  It would be extra difficult if grandma had gotten close.  Unless Ryan fights for custody - which I don't see happening - Ava may be out of their lives for good.

HE IS AN IMMATURE LITTLE PRICK.  How did neither Tamra nor Eddie kick his ass and tell him to grow the fuck up and feed those children?  Uhhhh, Mom?  Any chance you might interject here?

Eddie and Tamra are done for.  Run, Eddie, RUN!

What about the children's mother?  They all just tiptoed around him and it reminded me of how people were around Ragey Ryan.  So Sarah has already handed all control of her children over to Ryan.  If he says they don't need to eat, then they don't need to eat.

The 5, the 405, pretty much any freeway in this area usually is a mess at some point during the day. It was a whinefest because they filmed this for the show and insisted leaving at mid-day during the height of traffic with the kids wide awake. They could have filmed this the day before leaving. They could  just left at 4-5AM for daytime driving and gotten breakfast on the road after they got through the metro area or left around 8PM and driven through the night with far, far less traffic and the kids would be asleep most of the drive.

How friggin lazy are you that you can't put some spoons and bowls on the table and pour some cereal and milk in the bowls. I won't even suggest slapping the lever of the toaster down 3-4 times and "MAKE" toast.

Ryan is a slug.

Even though there have been umpteen posts with conspiracy theories regarding Brooks' cancer, I thought I'd throw out one more. We've been told that Bravo insisted that Vicki include Brooks during filming this season since he was living with her. We also know that she didn't want to but agreed just to keep her orange. What if during that negotiation with Bravo, Vicki thought she could get her way by telling Bravo that Brooks' cancer returned so he shouldn't be filming? Either Bravo didn't believe her or they didn't care and forced her to include Brooks as part of her story resulting in her having to continue the lie.

IMO, we are only hearing/seeing the tip of the iceberg that is made from Brooks's differing stories concerning his cancer/treatment compared to what the HWs got during filming. The guy can't keep his story straight now even though he could easily watch the show and refresh what stories he gave during filming to keep it straight but No, he is winging it and thinks no one will catch his discrepancies.

Has Heather and Terry's "beauty line" - or whatever the hell it is they're hawking - been aired yet? If so, anyone know how it did? I've never even heard of the shopping channel that's carrying it and I have full cable. Guess I'll have to scroll through the guide on my tv and see if it's broadcast here. Guess it was too hokey for the better known shopping channels? Didn't Melissa and Kathy from HWNJ get on HSN, which people have at least heard of?

Yea, that really bothered me. He scares me a lot more than the other Ryan does. Maybe it was because she was on camera, but if it were me - I would have spoken up. He was talking in a very nasty way about her children, and they weren't doing anything more than playing with toys and expecting to be fed! But also, why hadn't she already fed them? I have no idea what time it was when they went to see the house, but I typically feed my kids before we go out for the day. This woman just doesn't seem much better than Rapey Ryan. And we already know she left one of the children alone with him in the house when the domestic violence incident occurred. I shudder to think....

It is on EVINE, which was Shop NBC. I think it did pretty good as they have had several airings of it now. The feedback/ratings were on average 4 stars out of 5 stars, so I think that is pretty good for any skincare line on a shopping channel, the prices are middle of the road as well.

More than the whole Brooks cancer fiasco, this 'Ryan/baby mama/no breakfast/nine hour drive' makes me so angry....why??  Innocent kids in a situation where Ryan is in control (thanks RedheadZombie) of baby mama's kids....WTF?  Why isn't baby mama doing anything to get her kids breakfast?  What a poor excuse of a 'mother' she is....she's a piece of trash, no wonder she chose A-hole ('floor still bothers me') Ryan to hook up with....and make a baby with....Hey Ryan: how bout finding a place that YOU can afford with your own money (not your mommy's) that has the kind of floor YOU want, how bout that, A-hole?    These 2 (Ryan and baby mama) deserve each other...but the 4 kids??  Not so much, unfortunately....SMDH

Exactly.  (That's what I meant when I asked if there was any chance she might want to interject - although now I see that it looks like I meant Tamra when I said "Mom")  As if possible to have less respect for anyone other than Ryan, I do have less for any mom who is going to allow some jackass to pull crap that results in their childrens' needs not being met.  Have your kids' back, Dumbass!  Nobody else will in this situation.   That disgusts me, and I see it all the time.   THEY should be her number one priority, period.

Evine is the same shopping channel that sells Luann DeLesseps' clothing line.  We get the channel here, on cable.  I just happened across it one day, when checking the guide.

They also have a website, and "Consult Beaute" products can be purchased here:

Shannon's face, during the lunch with Vicky, when she realizes she's sold her soul to Satan to partake in HW fame. Priceless. I've seen it on every HW face eventually, and it's always the same face. Only one left is Meghan, when oh when will it be.

Never.  She doesn't have a soul.  Anyone with a soul would not be calling doctor's offices trying to prove someone is lying.

I can't help but wonder if Vicki and Shannon had that falling out off camera and Bravo forced them to reenact it at the lunch.  Shannon was way, way "off" from her normal self.  It felt very unnatural.

Shannon had her feelings hurt when Meghan advised her Vicki said she had never asked for her help.  She was the only one continually standing up for Brooks and Vicki and she got the worst treatment. Yet lo and behold just three weeks earlier Brooks was giving an interview talking about Shannon's referrals.  I don't think Vicki was acting but I think Shannon had pretty much had it with Vicki blowing her off and then going to Tamra and confiding in her.  To me, Shannon nature is more of a talk, talk, talk.  I am still waiting for a snappy one liner from Shannon.

As one of five kids ( with one dad) my older sister and I were 9 and 10 years older than our younger brother and sister. Guess what, we made the younger ones breakfast every morning before we went to school. My mom worked the night shift and my dad during the day. This gave mom another hour to sleep. No one went without food at our house. In Ryan and Sarah's neither leaves the home for work and there are older children who could help. Something tells me Ryan's rant was fabricated to drive the audience crazy and have us talk about it for pages. One thing Tamra is astute about is drumming up the DRAMA. Her nick name should be Trama!!! :-)

Interesting point. I did notice that Ryan was the only one acting grumpy. I've been around hungry little ones and must say that those children were very well behaved and mannered for not having been fed. Who knows with these people.

This episode seems like something straight out of the Hotwives of Orlando/Las Vegas parody series on Hulu. It just ticks off a lot of the most common tropes of all the various Housewives cities. I mean, in just one episode you have:

1. The cast gathering for a party with a random as hell theme

2. Public confrontation at said party for no other reason than to get camera time.

3. Housewives making sure to get their product placement in for their various business ventures

4. Husbands who look like they hate their wives

5. And my personal favorite trope: the "I hate to even be discussing this nasty rumor" while simultaneously bringing that room up on camera.

Like the show itself is its own best parody.

Good grief - if chaos ensued getting ready to go see your paid for new home and the kids miss breakfast....why not call Tamra and say "we're on the way but need to stop at McDonalds for take out. Not the ideal - but a treat for the young ones on occasion - especially facing a long ride.

I just can't criticize the children's mother in that situation.  We don't even know if they were staying at a motel or at Tamra's.  No?  We don't know what the situation was with the baby.  Maybe Sara was up during the night and was sleeping in to catch up and Ryan was in charge.  Or, if they were in a motel, the kids couldn't just make breakfast for themselves.  There's just to many things we don't know to lay blame on her.  Now, Ryan is another story.  No doubt he's over this instant family situation.

And I'm not saying that Sara doesn't have issues.  How many baby daddies are there?  How many marriages, if any?

I just hope that those kids will be ok given the situation they were born into.

Concerning the nine or ten miles Ryan had to drive to OC, was he exaggerating or does it really take that long? I know it takes about eight hours to travel the length of Florida south to Miami, but I seem to recall this came up before and it was a lot less time.

9 hours from Auburn is a bit of an exaggeration, but when you add restroom stops, food and traffic 9 is not that far off

Breezy424, with all due respect, I have no problem at all criticizing Ryan's baby mama...no matter where they were staying, there should have been a plan for the kids to eat breakfast, period....kids should not have to ask 'can we eat breakfast before we leave (on a nine hour drive)?'  Most moms consider the needs of their children before their children have to ask about something as ordinary as eating breakfast....and the little I have seen of Ryan, I would not trust to him to feed a dog on time, let alone a child....I feel horrible that these kids have to deal with a mom with no decision making abilities whatsoever and her boyfriend with all of his issues....

Oh, I absolutely agree with you on the kids having breakfast.  My response was to why they didn't have breakfast before they gathered at the new rental, which was basically an appointment.  We don't know if they requested breakfast before then (according to Ryan, they didn't).  I give the mom some slack on not speaking up because they were on camera and Ryan was in a pissed off mood.  We don't know what she said after the cameras stopped so I give some leeway.

Again, as I stated in my post, she has big issues but I'm not going to condemn her on this because I don't have enough information.
