Note to Meghan:  If Brooks is faking having cancer, then when the truth comes out, he will be even more reviled than he has been with his grifter past.  You just need to let it play out.  However, you stalking his previous girl friends and his doctor makes you look just as morally sick and disgusting as he will if he doesn't have cancer.

I with you on this, I'm a nurse also but a person doesn't have to be a nurse or have to see someone dying of cancer to realize that the direction of this franchise has gone entirely off-track when it pushes the drama created by Meghan, Shannon and Tamra about Brooks having cancer. It's more than disturbing, it's despicable and intolerable. I don't even want to watch anymore because I get too angry at Meghan and Tamra and the attempts at getting camera time by continually digging away at this Brooks cancer story. I'm going to a funeral tomorrow for my brother that died of cancer on Sept. 1st and this constant bickering about whether Brooks is lying about cancer is becoming an even more sore subject with me than it ever was. I'm really feeling hatred towards Meghan and Tamra and that's not normal to feel towards some stupid-ass rich strangers in a TV show.

 

I've narrowed down the list of who I like and who I don't and I don't like any of these women. Lizzy is the one housewife I don't absolutely detest, she's okay. But, Shannon, Meghan, Tamra, and Heather are all worthless human beings in my opinion. I can just barely stand Vicki. I think I watch only to see Meghan and Tamra get what they deserve. Eddie stuffing his mouth like the dumbass he is while Tamra acts like a raving lunatic, and Jim Edmunds who goes slack-jawed when Brooks confronts Meghan is a piss-poor excuse for a husband. I can't stand either of them and Vicki is right, their marriage won't last 2 years, Vicki predicted 4 and that's not happening.

 

I think I got some of that off my chest and feel better, so I'll stop there and not rage about shallow, materialistic Heather and Terry Dubrow or weak, mealy-mouthed, emasculated David Beador.

This episode was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.  I'm appalled and disgusted that this entire season has revolved around the women gossiping over the validity of Brooks' cancer.  It is not the business of any of them, at all, for any reason.  Brooks being sick or not sick does not actually affect their lives other than if they choose to be kind and emotionally supportive, and even then, you don't really lose anything by being kind and supportive - if he is lying, then there is something very wrong with his mind, and therefore he is still sick, just in a different way.  He can choose what doctors and treatments he wants for himself, it's no one else's place to determine whether those choices are right or wrong.  Not that it matters, because I don't believe any of them actually care whether or not he receives helpful treatment, or is cured, they just want to "crack the mystery" that is only a mystery because they nitpick and gossip about what things he said seemed hinky to them.  YOU ARE NOT DETECTIVES, calm the fuck down.

 

Meghan really is the ultimate mean girl.  Her crazed, desperate, unstoppable need to investigate...oh, I'm sorry, "research" Brooks' past and get to the bottom of his story is actually one of the most vile things I've seen someone do on the RH franchise.  What is her motivation, indeed.  I thought Brooks handled that confrontation extremely well, and if he'd lost control and punched Meghan in her smug, bitchy face, I wouldn't have even been mad at him.  Vicki was doing really well, and almost made it through the entire episode without making this all about her, but she just HAD to squeeze in, "I lost MY mom and MY boyfriend has stage III cancer, why can't you just leave us alone?" 

 

I can't believe Tamra the Pot tried to call her Mom the Kettle a hoochie.  That outfit was perfectly nice, and looked good on her mom, it was nowhere near as hoochie looking as most of what Tamra wears.  Tamra was way too excited and gleeful when she was looking for Brooks at the party to take him down.  She looks demented when she gets that way.  Probably because she IS demented.

 

Shannon's party scene was pretty, and it was nice to see her back yard.  She seemed like kind of a terrible host, though - very distracted, never really giving her full attention to whoever she was talking to, and answering questions in what came across to me in sort of a terse tone.  "There's a dragon in your pool, Shannon!"  "I know.  I know that."  I guess only Vacation Shannon is Fun Shannon.

Brooks gets his own TH? It was so nicely lit with rouge and styling. I hope he gets his orange.

Rapey Ryan looks just like a creepy character named Hans from one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies, "The Burbs."

Ok, I owe Vicki an apology.  I still think she shouldn't have said anything about Meghan's and Jim's marriage, but she totally owned that she was the source and yet the other screecher drama queen still goes off her rocker.   Who would have thunk that Vicki can actually sound rational once in a while???? I guess it's all relative---particularly when it comes to Tamra (and Meghan too).

 

And Brooks is right: he doesn't owe Tamra anything including repeating the whole 20 minute conversation that took place between him and Jim.

According to Vicki, Brooks said Jim said two of the four months he and Meghan had been married were "challenging."  But Brooks also said to Tamra that that was in the context of a 20 minute conversation.  So it seems plausible that there was more to it than just that little snippet, but it is not known how much Brooks shared with Vicki and whether or not she knowingly passed on just that part of the convo.  I am speculating that Brooks did share more of the conversation with Vicki, but Tamra twisted "challenging" into "bad."

Vicki told Tamra at her Sex Party that Brooks told her (Vicki) that Jim mentioned two of the four months married to Meghan were "challenging." Obviously Tamra and Vicki could have misinterpreted the meaning of what Brooks said. That's one sentence from a 20 minute talk Brooks had with Jim. Tamra repeated a twisted message back to Meghan that instead of "challenging" the 2 months were "bad."

With the step kids, ex-wife dying and constant moving around it had been a challenging few months for Meghan...not necessarily bad months. Brooks confided in his S.O. and Vicki should never have disclosed what he said. Brooks got the bad end of that issue unnecessarily.

In addition, half the time the newly married couple lived apart which seemed to be Jim's decision. He does have two minor children living in another state.

If Vicki was glad to be rid of the grifter, I imagine she'd have, you know, off-loaded him a while back. Of course she's upset; her own self-worth appears to hinge almost entirely on constant affirmation and the attention of a male partner. And she also seems to need a very specific power dynamic in which she is the party in control. Brooks probably did a cost-benefit analysis and decided to move on to a new mark for whom he doesn't need to make daily trips to the greeting card shop. I'd blanche more regarding Meghan's stalking were it not for Vicki's own history of obsessing over a cast mate whose personal life had no impact on her own; Tamra was obviously the chief driver of the anti-Gretchen campaign but Vicki was perfectly comfortable with all of the tactics her friend deployed against their target. And it's comical that Vicki suddenly feels like public screaming is reflective of foolishness considering her ear-splitting record of tantrums when she doesn't get her way - didn't she just throw a fit last week when Brianna didn't hop to it on Vicki's command? Production needs to bring Lauri Waring back next season for an unholy alliance with Tams and Meghan if the show wants to see how much Vicki will debase herself for an orange.

If Bravo expects us to believe any of the BS they show us each week, they need to pay more attention to details.

For most of the season, Shannon and Meghan were at odds and yet tonight's episode starts off with a cozy threesome (Shannon, Meghan and Heather) gossiping while having lunch.

Not only was Shannon " cozy" with Meghan during lunch, she did a complete about face on backing up Vicki. Shannon involved herself in Vicki and Meghan's fight at Tamra's party and was solidly on Vicki's side. She even questioned Jim.

During the lunch Shannon tells Meghan and Heather that Vicki asked her for help when she learned of Brooks' diagnosis. Shannon arranged for Brooks to see a world famous doctor specializing in lymphoma. That's why we heard Shannon repeatedly commenting about Brooks' doctors and treatments all season. Then Vicki tells Meghan and Jim that she never Shannon for help.

We've heard Vicki scream at Meghan more than once and tell her "I'll take you down" to her face and in her THs and yet tonight she did a complete reversal.

If this is the case it could be why when Meghan called Brooks' doctor she was told he does not treat cancer patients. As a new patient Brooks' doctor's office said she needed to see a oncologist. In Brook's case he had records from his oncologist and had a medical history the new doctor studied and may have felt comfortable in treating him.

Yeah, it seems ole rat face realizes he bit off more than his little teeth can gnaw.  I bet a nickel to a donut Tamara ends up paying his child support for him if he and his baby mama break up.  Of course, she'll hide it from Eddie.  And I agree about Tamra's mom having an unforgiving mouth.  It's almost like her lips have shriveled up and disappeared.  Still, she looks way better than she did a few years ago.

 

Meghan and Tamra are two peas in a moldy pod.  They can't even wait more than a few minutes to runtelldat to whoever they've been gossiping about.  At least wait until the person you're gossiping about is out of earshot.  They may as well get a bullhorn and yell it out as they are hearing it.  And I don't think Jim reprimanded Meghan at all when they got home for starting shit at the party.  He knows that that's the kind of crap that will make sure she continues to get her orange and out of his hair.

And did you hear Vicki contradict this to Meghan tonight? She said that Brooks' doctor was the one that recommended stopping the chemo. It's hard to keep your lies straight when you set up an elaborate scheme. I noticed how quick Brooks was to shut down the conversation right after that.

They showed (on tonight's epi) Brooks saying his original doctor wanted more "aggressive chemo treatment" and that's why he stopped and switched treatment. With the new doctor and treatment he said his numbers were doing better. Maybe the results were shared with the original oncologist and afterward he approved Brooks' new cancer treatment.?!? Who knows they are keeping the suspense up till the very end.

I agree...It's getting stupid boring. Bravo producers/editors always try to switch things around and present one case scenario then turn it all assbackwards on the audience during the finale. All so we keep coming back each week. Those sick bastards!

Pretty sad when there is nothing original coming out of entertainment anywhere as new voices in this new world of tech. except recycled stories.
