Starfish35 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 (edited) If my calculations are right (assuming they continue to have 23 episodes a season), the 200th episode would be episode 9.16. I don't know that I see the show running that long, but maybe. *shrugs* Edited January 8, 2017 by Starfish35 Link to comment
Delphi January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 I think the whose more "successful" comes with a lot of criteria that you need to take into account though. Including talent, looks and desire. For example Tom Welling I'm sure wants more work, but I'm sure people instantly think teenage Superman from that we show. Then there's actresses like Busy. She's talented but probably not considered Hollywood beautiful even though I think she's gorgeous. But she waits for jobs she likes because let's be real even a bad actor makes more than the rest of us and she's happy being a mom. Then there are your breakouts, cw has had a few but really they are all from the wb/UPN merger. EBR has the talents and the beauty to be that break out star but I'm not sure she's all that willing to leave Canada. Then there is Katie, who I normally defend. But, no, she's too old to have a breakout role and her ability won't help her because she is no Streep. She needs all the work she can get and being a diva, which she was, btw, is not the way to stay employed. 3 Link to comment
insomniadreams88 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 Maybe the goal should be to get to 150 episodes before thinking of 200. 9 seasons of a show is impressive/somewhat rare these days. 3 Link to comment

Starfish35 January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 (edited) 150 episodes would be episode 7.12 (again, assuming 23 episodes a season). I can see them doing that easily. I'm pretty confident they'll get to at least season seven. It's after that I'm not sure about. I know Smallville did 10 seasons and SPN just got renewed for a 13th season (wow), but on the other hand, you have TVD, their former flagship show, wrapping up an abbreviated eighth season (which...eight seasons is still a good run). So...who knows? :) Edited January 8, 2017 by Starfish35 3 Link to comment

I think Katie could potentially have a chance to make her career work out huge. But it's probably best not to make enemies and it doesn't look like she's making any friends with her attitude. 1 Link to comment
Primal Slayer January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 (edited) They didn't have con footage to be diva's about. But con footage isn't going to make or break her career, especially when actors don't come to agreements for plenty of things. This isn't Katherine Heigl whose career isn't fully dead after all the drama she's gone through, now that is more detrimental then a con video. Edited January 9, 2017 by Primal Slayer Link to comment

Mandy Moore is 32 and has finally had her "big" role. Justin Hartley is 39 and finally getting his breakout role. It is harder the older you get (esp for women) but it is still entirely possible. Katies had a very good career thus far and if she wants to put more focus on her acting, I'm sure she'll be fine. Link to comment
Chaser January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 KC's biggest problem is that she has a reputation. I don't think she has the resume to over come that. She was fired from two CW shows. Spoiler Recasted on one and maybe another. There could be a big break role out there, but would they even want to look at her? 2 Link to comment
Primal Slayer January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 (edited) Actors are killed off of shows all the time, neither show has said anything bad about her so no one is going to be holding that against her, if she was trouble to work with on shows, CW isn't going to waste their time on her. Sean Bean has been killed off of nearly everything he stars in. Like it's been said, all it takes is the right role to truly blow up. A lot of times they have other people in mind who fall through and someone smaller steps in. Edited January 9, 2017 by Primal Slayer Link to comment

I think there are so many variables that it's hard to predict, including actors like Parker Posey who prefer to be in small indie films or move into writing and directing if they can even get into that (see Lexi Alexander). tv echo January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 (edited) This video includes portions of SA/DR panel at Wizard World New Orleans... Stephen Amell and David Paul Ramsey Panel Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans 2017 Published on Jan 10, 2017, by Geek Squire -- SA noted that morning's announcement that Arrow, Flash, LoT and Supergirl were renewed for another season and joked about Supernatural being renewed "for Season 28" (lol) -- DR noted that he and SA are the only two actors who have been in all 100 episodes. -- Fan asked which was better, DC Cinematic Universe or Marvel Cinematic Universe. SA answered: "Marvel has a better track record in the cinematic universe. Um, concurrently, nothing touches Nolan's Batman trilogy." -- SA gave a mild spoiler for back half of this season: "It's, uh, some pretty big Mayor stuff... a lot of Mayor stuff. We have a couple of episodes that I would call for the show, you know, thematically or wardrobe-style, um, a little bit of a departure, compared to what we normally do." -- Fan asked if he was anything like his character, Oliver Queen. SA replied: "Stubborn." DR: "Yeah, he's - you are stubborn - but smart. Both really smart. Actually, Stephen's very smart." -- SA said that Johnny White's is his favorite bar in New Orleans. DR said that they "danced a lot last night, but in two different places." -- Fan asked about their most memorable moments on the show. SA said that when you first put on the suit, that's pretty memorable. But he also mentioned that director David Nutter had told him that he wanted to make a pilot that was "undeniable" so that the network would have to make the series and that, after one take of a scene from the pilot with him, DR and Suzanne Thompson, David Nutter came up to him and said "Undeniable!" This was a deleted scene from S1 that was cut from the pilot and involved Oliver speaking up for Diggle because Moira wanted to fire Diggle, since Oliver kept ditching him. SA will never forget that moment. DR talked about the S1 scene where Diggle looks in the back seat of the car and Oliver is gone. He said that David Nutter came up and said to him and AK, "Do you feel it? Do you feel it? This show's going, man." And DR and AK were like, 'Don't say that, don't jinx it." DR said that he didn't feel it until he saw the pilot and then knew that this show was going to go to air. DR: "There was nothing I saw that year that even came close to the pilot." -- Fan asked if they thought Oliver could still beat The Flash now that The Flash is more experienced. DR: "I think Arrow would still win. I just think experience trumps power... I think Oliver Queen would find a way like Bruce Wayne would to beat all the superpowered guys... Oliver Queen kinda deals with this criminal aspect, this dark side of himself a lot like Bruce Wayne, right? And I just think that that's what gives him the edge. And Barry Allen just doesn't have that." SA: "Agree." -- Mod asked if they thought Oliver was already assessing the other superhero teams for weaknesses. SA: "I think Oliver has already researched kryptonite, for sure... Like, kryptonite. And how do I take away his superspeed. And I might need to waste these guys at a certain point and I'm gonna need to have my bag of tricks." DR: "What about some of that element in the next crossover? That would be kinda dope... Just that Oliver Queen would think that way is an interesting twist." -- DR would love to see Bruce Wayne "duke it out" with Oliver Queen. -- Fan asked about seeing the "iconic" goatee again, whether Nyssa will ever return, and getting Sara Lance's number. SA: "Last question, first answer: C'mon, man... (to the Nyssa question) I hope so. And the answer to the first question is, if we ever saw a version of the goatee, we'd be able to do it after the end of Season 5." Edited January 13, 2017 by tv echo 2 Link to comment

Not this Wednesday, but the Wednesday thereafter. I haven't talked a lot about the show since we went off the air... in December, after our 100th episode and our fall finale - our winter finale, mid-season finale, whatever it's called... But, uh, we are in the thick of it now. We are filming our 15th episode of the season. We have a couple of episodes coming up that are really fun. Um. A couple of episodes that I'm barely in the Arrow suit, which is not to say that the action is lower. It's just different. And I'm very proud of the latter half of the show. I mean, I'm always proud of the show. And I don't know that I've been live - well, I have been live. But I don't know if I've discussed with you guys since we got a 6th season. It's pretty incredible. We're going to be able to make 138 episodes of the show - unless The CW wants us to do one more per year, which is always possible, even though I begged them not to. I'm kidding, but 23 is enough. Seriously. We have such a great infrastructure on Arrow, from our cast to our crew to our writers to our producers to the network that distributes our show and the studio that founded it. Um. All of those people deserve a very special thanks, but the people who deserve the most thanks are you - our fans from all over the world. Um. You guys are the ones who made this happen. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... Thank you." -- SA: "We are going to do some semi-regular Q&A's on the page. Um. I've got, uh, my buddy Zacko working with me now on the facebook page, to curate some questions. And those will probably happen in the live format. I'll try to make them at a semi-regular time, and I think that it would be fun to maybe do them on a Thursday, after an episode of Arrow has aired. And, uh, we'll create a theme for the Q&A, try to answer some new questions, just give you guys a little bit of a sneak peek, and I will definitely put a spoiler warning if it's a live video. I promise, I promise, I promise." -- SA: "Working out with T3 Athletics. Worked out with Josh Segarra today. I'd suggest, if you're ever doing a personal training session, bring a friend. Josh and I did this one exercise today where it was just three different grips of pushups and comibined, we had to do a hundred. So I went, and then he goes. Then I go, and then he goes.
