I always had great shoes...starting with Baker's cheapest (but still cute) in the mid 50s. Before being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in my early 50s, my KNEES started really killing me and I had to quit wearing high heels...stilettos, strappy shoes, etc. That was the 90s and I wore "nice" brands...nothing like today's shoes that cost a month's rent on a nice apartment. I still yearn for those heels, but joints and income keep me from them. There have been a lot of REALLY cute flats the past couple of years. Radar October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 Was watching Pitch Perfect 2 on dvd last night and there is a quick View cameo towards the beginning of the film featuring Rosie O, Rosie P and Nicole Wallace reacting to the wardrobe malfunction of the Rebel Wilson character. I was struck by 2 things: 1. How quickly outdated this appearance became with all of these ladies no longer co-hosts. Actually even at the time of its release back in May, it would have been outdated with Nicole being the last one standing at that point. 2. I wonder why Whoopi didn't appear. Was it a money thing? Was she holding out for an extended role, or did she just not want to share screen time with Rosie O. With her love for musical entertainment, I'm sure Rosie O was easy to get on board for this and Nicole probably was just thrilled at the chance to appear in a movie. 1 Link to comment

That's exactly the reason I kept my (awful) married name rather than going back to my maiden name when I divorced and my boys were small. I didn't want them to have to "introduce" me at school, etc. when most people would assume my name was Mrs. XXXXX, rather than Ms. ZZZZ. I still haven't changed it, but now it's b/c all my records, credit, etc. would have to be adjusted, and that's such a royal pain! 3 Link to comment

It's possible that Sherri, like many other celebs, uses her legal (rather than stage) name for personal matters, such as school registrations, taxes, etc. So it makes sense to me that she'd go with Tarpley for Jeffrey's sake, especially with his special circumstances. Ivana Trump, Tina Turner and Demi Moore are just 3 examples of many who kept or returned to an ex's name even after remarriage, for family or business purposes. I don't have strong feelings about women changing their names after marriage..everybody does what feels right. She went on to keep his last name even after she married and divorced Bruce Willis after 13 years of marriage. She did finally change it to Kutcher after she married Ashton Kutcher in 2005. His job coach (helping on site) and the agency needed to rectify this by contacting Applebees and the state labor board. The position was initially unpaid and the transition to paid was when the confusion resulted. The agency had means (and contacts) to rectify this- They dropped the ball. The only thing I can think of is a reporter or "fan" calling the hotel on thr phone and asking for her by name and getting connected to her room. (She fails to realize she is in the city of Toronto, province of Ontario in Canada)She said there was a fire alarm at 3 AM & she had to hobble down 17 flights of stairs (she had hurt her ankle jogging, not walking on 6 inch heels) AND she was sleeping naked & had to scramble to find something to wear. If I had to evacuate a hotel room in am emergency- Searching for my wig (and tweeting about the search for it) would not be my priority. Think about the number of times the same gag is used in movies, tv shows, commercials. Someone is in a hotel, they get out of the shower, wrap a towel around them, or have a bedsheet around them. They step out into the lobby, or outside of the motel door, for 2 seconds, and the door slams, catching their towel or sheet, and leaving the person naked without a way to get back in the room. Sherri WANTS to be able to say this happens to her, so she can use it as a gag. so she makes it up, exaggerates, to tell the story. In her mind, she's the modern-day version of Lucille Ball, with the facial expressions and the hysteria, over-reacting, etc. Sherri gets acting jobs, she may be good at taking direction.
