This is what frustrates me about this show, and now the reunion.  Why won't anyone call out Golnesa on her obsession with Mike, and if this "hook-up" was so one-sided why was she giggling, laughing and snuggling and most importantly, WHY THE F WAS SHE IN A HOTEL ROOM ALONE WITH MIKE IF SHE WAS SO UN-INTERESTED.    It frustrates me to no end that no one is asking her these questions or pointing out that she failed her 1st lie detector test.

 

It is painfully obvious to me that GG has carried a torch for Mike ever since he dated her sister decades ago and the source of all her frustration is that Mike is having sex with everyone but her.  When you put it all together, maybe Mike IS onto something and maybe GG set the whole situation up.  if the Bravo crew didn't tape them going to the hotel room, then who did?  Maybe GG placed her phone or had someone tape them walking to the room, just so she could bring it up this season to humiliate Mike and end his engagement.  And again, why isn't anyone asking GG why she happily trotted into an engaged man's room at 3am?

 

And while it's crystal clear that GG is jealous and wants to break up the engagement, one thing no one counted on was that Jessica is more determined to be a wife than LeBron James is to win a championship for Cleveland.  You heard her jump out of that plane "I'm going to be a wife!"  She picked her guy and she's sticking with it no matter what.  And she's certainly not going to let GG break it up.  And why break off an engagement when you can make your husband's life a living Hell and get whatever you want?

MJ is a lying bitch, but I think Asa is mad that even after Reza talked about her like a dog a few seasons ago, Reza and MJ are still close enough that MJ would be his maid of honor and not Asa. MJ and Asa compete for Reza's friendship and I don't understand it. These women are in their late 30's/early 40's, competing for his friendship is stupid and makes them look desperate.

Also, Asa knows good and well she would've been the Debbie Downer at Reza's bachelor party. That party was disgusting and Reza should be embarrassed, but Asa is the Fun Police. Sometimes she's too serious and overly sensitive.

I hope this is a one and done season for Asifa. She's a dramatic liar just like the rest of them, but somehow she irritates me the most.

Mike doing ANYTHING even shopping with GG's sis on the night before his wedding -- even two nights before -- IS a bit unusual. Most guys are hanging with their males friends, no? Unless Mike and GG's sis...go back really like family -- like Reza and MJ say THEY are......it IS unusual that Mike would be shpping with GG's sis. EVEN if he wanted a woman' friend's opinion on his suit or whatever he was getting....that it would JUST. happen. to. be GG's sis. is a heck of a coincidence. I'll say that about it.

 

I love Reza. But I couldn't hang with him. I'm not into absolute debauchery. Is THAT really what bachelor party's are about? I've NEVER under stood that. Sure, last night before wedding. Sure, hang with the guys. Sure, have fun. But what we saw was beyond the pale...for me.

Shahs get that set and all that pomp and circumstance before hand...even the Atlanta reunion we saw them getting dolled up....and the Southern Charm reunion got SQUAT:  the WWHL studio in New York, and some folding chairs. Geez. Really Andy.

Random thoughts....

I LOL'd at the beginning when they showed GG walking with 2 bodyguards and some guy holding an ashtray for her. The fuck she think she is, P. Diddy with his umbrella monkey?

Reza looked weird at first without his 'stache, but I got used to it after about 5 minutes. He's wrong though, shaving actually "makes his fat face" look rounder, not longer.

So I guess it's a given that each and every Bravo reunion will have at least one person walk off the set. I wonder how they decide who it's going to be - draw straws? Cut cards?

Asifa and GG were almost unrecognizable in that picture of them from however long ago it was. They've put in some some serious time with the plastic surgeon. Same with Reza and MJ, although the difference from then to now wasn't quite as dramatic.

Asa looked absolutely beautiful, that dress was tasteful and stunning.  MJ, as usual, looked beyond a hot mess.  I think Asa is a weirdo, with her wacky Persian Pop Priestess schtick, but out of everyone on that show she's the only one I could stand being around IRL.  The last couple episodes she's shown being sensitive about Adam's feelings about the cancelled wedding and (according to editing) the only person Reza talked seriously to about the whole debacle.  During the reunion she looked like she was almost revolted by all the shouting and hostility, like she's just over it all and wants everyone to shut up and get along.

 

Mike is a cheater and Jessica knows it and doesn't give a shit.  She wanted Mike and she got him, she'll turn a blind eye so that she can "be a wife".  I think that they do love each other in their own emotionally stunted way, but he's going to cheat forever and she's going to focus on wedding, baby, baby, baby, redecorating, classroom mom etc.

 

GG is pathetically obvious in her jealousy.  I think she always thought she'd end up with Mike in the end and she lost to Jessica.  Now she has to front with her "he's like my BROTHER, and he tried to SEX WITH ME, and I have been ABUSED!" story.  Too bad it ended up pushing Mike out of the group, but hey, he got a rich wife out of the deal.  It's not like Reza or MJ was gonna help him pay his bills.

MJ looks like she's coming off a weeklong bender in the photo attached to hers.  Kind of buttresses my suspicion that she's actively trying to seem like a skank--why, I don't know.  Also, I make every effort to keep myself off LinkedIn, so I don't know the details of how it works.  Is each individual responsible for entering and updating employment details?  If not, it's easy to see how somebody could've stopped working somewhere a few years ago and still be listed as employed there.  I also noticed that "Willaims" in Keller Williams was spelled like that.  So, good job, whoever.

 

I don't really understand what MJ and Asa are fighting over in Reza.  Or I should say I don't understand what Asa's fighting over.  It's like two street dogs fighting over a piece of rotten meat in the garbage.  Although at least the dogs need the meat to stay alive, so the parallel doesn't quite hold up.  I'm not seeing what's in this fight for Asa.  The meat is rotten, honey.  Can't you smell it?  Stop fighting.  Let the other dog have it.  She'll obviously eat anything.

Sadly, you're probably right.  I've read that some pet owners impose their own food issues on their pet, e.g., if they're overweight, the pet tends to be as well. I think that may be the case with Merce...

I completely agree! GG is so jealous, she can't take it. She's out to ruin that relationship and she probably thought they wouldn't ever make it down the aisle. Now, she's screwed....excuse the pun. Mike is a pig, IMO, and he's the type who may be cheating but there's no reason to drag that on TV.

My take was pretty much identical to yours up to now, that GG was jealous and was trying to break up the engagement.  Why else make such a big deal out of a drunken pass, especially when GG seemed willing enough to go with Mike's flirting and going to his room at 3 am?  But in the reunion GG went even more viciously after Mike and his relationship with Jessica, to the point that (to me) she seemed more of a scorned woman than a jealous one, and a new thought popped into my head, one that would explain why GG seems so bitter.  I'm starting to think that perhaps GG didn't say no to the drunken pass.  If they actually slept together, something that GG couldn't admit to without looking slutty or foolish, then it would make perfect sense for her to go ballistic at the news that Mike was going to propose to Jessica.   Of course, GG didn't have any qualms about throwing her own sister under that particular bus.

 

As for Reza, I can't for the life of me understand why any of these people would want to be friends with him, much less fight over his friendship.  He is a treasonous snake who has a habit of turning on friends and viciously attacking them, often to shift away attention from his own shitty actions.  A couple of seasons ago he did it to MJ.  This time it was Mike's turn.

 

The only one I can really stand in this group is Asa, which probably means that next season it will be her turn to feel Reza's ire.

FYI on MJ's boobs

 

Those are hers not store bought.

She normally uses DUCT tape....stuck from her nipple going under her boob and then pulling the tape under her armpit behind the shoulder. She does this to both sides. and also some pieces of duct tape horizontal to pull them up...and another long strip going along the underside of her boobs to life them. Then over this but under the top she would wear one of those corsets she favors.

 

The Missy Piggy outfit (someone else said this and it's perfect) she couldn't do it, the duct tape would have been seen and since she also can't use a corset which is usually worn to hide the lumps of tape...hence the boobs hanging at their normal relaxed mode - to the knees.

Uggh, I'm soooo mad.  What a COLOSSAL RIP-OFF! tonight's reunion episode was.   No Jessica?  That's what I've been waiting for - the big show down between GG and Jessica.  Now its not going to happen.  Stupid GG should have kept her big, fat mouth shut and not tipped her hand as to the whole "Mike effed my sister on the day he proposed marriage" bomb.  Dang, GG don't you know you're supposed to wait until you get your prey cornered before pouncing?  Mike was shitting bricks during the entire taping.  There was no way he was going to let Jessica sit on that stage while the entire group debated "Leyla-Gate".  No way.

 

Part Two of the reunion was a gigantic snooze fest.  Asifa needs professional help/counseling.  She needs to move out of Bobby's apartment, stop dating him and start working on herself.  If Asifa really wants Bobby - no worries.  Once Asifa physically moves out and stops contacting him Bobby will come running again.  Know that.  The minute a guy thinks you've lost interest they come sniffing around.  Asifa would know that if she would distance herself from Bobby for a hot minute AND START VALUING HERSELF.  That alone would probably make Bobby come crawling back.

This was a snooze, but apparently with this crew you need to keep the cameras on them 24/7. All of the interesting stuff happens when they aren't officially taping--GG's sister hooking up with Mike, all of the sidewalk/trailer convos from this part of the reunion.

Mike is so checked out from these folks. He couldn't even toast at the end.

The entire universe is telling Bobby and Asifa to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction from each other. Why won't they listen.

I'm not surprised Homeland Security investigated Asa. All of her "art" is her with a veil, naked, and or with a gun. Half the time she looks like a terrorist pin up. But I'm sure it took the Feds a couple of seconds until they figured out that she's a flake whose artistic thesis couldn't fill a thimble.

Asifa has no self worth. Sad. She's a little crazy, but she could do way better than Bobby.

 

Damn, Mike and Jessica's conversation in the trailer was a) very shady with allusions to something b) almost bordering on emotional abuse with the way Mike was trying to control her. There's way too much talk going on if Mike did nothing. Jessica says it doesn't matter now because they are married. She's in massive denial or she's so desperate to be married she's turning a blind eye. I really, really dislike her and her face looks TERRIBLE.

This group is so odd. I've been friends with my friends for a really long time too. There's no way we'd trash each other, call each other out of our names, call each other's parents out of their names, and then afterwards be like, "wanna get a drink?"
