I don't know how many of you are familiar with Reddit but it's a site utilized by mostly young people ( ages 19-29 are their biggest demographic) . Anyhoo I am very active on their adoption sub helping adoptees find bio parents but I always check the real housewives sub when I visit. Well the tides have turned on Brandi and Kim big time! I wonder who Brandi thinks she is going to buy her wine? Based on the comments it won't be anyone in that group.

I am not sure how reliable the Inquisitr website is, but they claimed that Lisa Rinna called out (and then deleted) Tweets accusing Kim Richards of being too drunk to do any blogs this season.

However, Glanville denies having hinted at a possible relapse and claims it was Rinna who has led to the drama surrounding Richards’ sobriety.

“[Rinna] says she feels sorry for Kim and cares about Kim and wishes Kim well. The truth is a lot less pretty. Some people have been attacking Kim’s sobriety online this week, but we won’t name names.”

As for why her Real Housewives co-star doesn’t participate in blog and hasn’t tweeted much in the last several months, Glanville said Richards is busy with more important issues.

“Kim is sober and not online. She is busy caring for serious ill family members and driving back and forth to doctors and hospitals and being strong for her family.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Rinna called out her Beverly Hills co-star, Kim, on Twitter earlier this week for not participating in cast blogs — possibly because she was “too inebriated.”

Although Rinna eventually deleted her tweets, she shared a number of comments with fans, and confirmed her Beverly Hills co-star, Kim Richards, was the inspiration behind her posts.

The tweets were later shared by Reality Tea and read as follows.

“My guess is people who don’t write blogs have something to hide-this excludes [Yolanda Foster] who is battling Lyme. A thought.”

“Or are they too inebriated to write a blog? You tell me.”

“Clearly that was something bothering me. Got it off my chest now moving on. Somebody stop me! Lol.”

My biggest takeaway from Eileen's interview is that she's neighbors with Camille. If Camille comes back next season, this will be helpful and more scenes filmed from Camille's house. MAKE IT HAPPEN, BRAVO!!

The ratings are good-if you are a Bravo show and you get a million viewers in prime time you get renewed,  Vanderpump Rules was the dreaded unseen footage. The only show that knocks it out of the park is RHOA.  Even last night's restaurant show on Bravo only had under 400,000.viewers.

 

I think the WWHL ratings had more to do with the guy on with Brandi has been accused of the attempted rape of a co-star on Shahs.  I think the guy on with Kyle, Jerry O'Connell was far more entertaining than Mike or Brandi.  Maybe his wife would like to be a RHOBH.

Networks like Bravo are looking at 18-34 and 18-49 demos that's where they get their money when viewers watch the commercials.  Plus BH's demos have been slightly better than they were last season.  So trust Bravo is satisfied.  But this is the lowest finale they have ever had in total numbers which isn't great.

 

I do agree people like to watch WWHL when the more popularizing figures from HWs come on like Nene, Bethenny or Brandi come on.  I watched it myself to see what tomfoolery she would put on display.

Yolanda leaves and we are back with a recap of Lisa Rinna’s season. For the love of God. This woman is painfully dumb and so desperate for fame and attention that watching her makes me itchy. Rinna says she made over a million dollars making commercials for adult diapers and I don’t believe her. Kim is very judgmental, claiming to be more selective with her career than Rinna, but is reminded she did Diving With the Stars. Rinna says she turned the diving show down and the pissing match has begun.

Andy asks how the ladies feel about Rinna being so open and I’m laughing because she’s not. She lies, get confused by her lies, and talks in circles.

Adrienne does nothing for me. After how she chickened out of the reunion in s3 and left Kyle hanging I was done with her being a regular cast member again. Keep Kyle but depose of Kim and Brandi.

If memory serves, the reason why Kyle was the targetted for that reunion Adrienne didnt want any hard questions thrown in her direction about her lawsuit with Brandi and her marriage ending with Paul. Adrienne and Brandi's storyline would had been the focus of that reunion if she showed up. Then Kyle/Lisa V stuff would had been secondary. Followed by Kim being high in Paris.

Yes.  Brandi saying that she brought conflict to the table in response to Eileen's query said it all and broke the 4th wall.  In that moment it was clear to me that she has been given props for being a shit stirrer.  I am willing to bet that Bravo has, now, told her to bring that down a few notches for the next season.  They don't want to fire her.  We will see a  different Brandi next season.

I totally agree.  When I saw how "feisty" LisaR was, speaking her mind, laughing at herself, willing to do anything - without the vulgarity, more fun, a "bit" more self-aware, I thought she's going to replace Brandi.   The others, except for Kim, are pretty much going to refuse to film with her, or if forced, will completely ignore her.  LisaR at least knows how to behave when she needs to, she knows how and when to let go.   She seems Beverly Hills light.   She can hold her own without going gangsta.    Hopefully Bravo will see the same.

ITA Lisa is, in her own way a truth cannon, without the vile underbelly that Brandi brings. Gotta love how she summed up 4 years of Kims tenure on the show in one sentence..." There is addiction going on here and no one wants to talk about it". God that was like music to my ears. Much better than " at least I'm not smoking crack in the bathroom motherfucker". Same result but much better delivery. Conversely she also brings some glamour. She's been in Hollywood a long time and I'm sure she can bring more to the table then a rented house, leased car and Jen the lady from sober house to the table. I dont think so. The top HWs shows has always been ATL/NJ/BH. It use to be NY until Andy did that massive firing after s4 then people stop watching it. I'll be honest Im one of those people who enjoy the top 3 and watch OC/NY/MIA when I find the time. Maybe their numbers will recover in the coming weeks. If not that would be something if Andy brought back his homie and she cant bring in those viewers he was hoping. Hes counting on Bethenny to deliver him ratings. I thought RHONY would had least been a 1.7 but wow.

Well first off they snagged BH's timeslot and usually Part 2 of the Reunion the numbers start to go down.  It was a much ballyhooed premiere with Bethenny being back.  Which to use Bethenny's description of Jill Zarin the first season-"she is like black licorice you wither love her or hate her."  It felt like the show was more about Bethenny than the ensemble cast.  I will be curious to see how it does and my other thought is sometimes with three shows running concurrently the ratings suffer.  Maybe NY should have tried the Monday night slot.  It seems to me there will be a big blank on Sunday night's slot with no RHONJ ready to follow RHOA.

 

I think any mention of Bethenny's not being a huge draw or Carole not being a fan favorite falls on deaf ears with Andy.  NY is his baby and he sees absolutely nothing wrong with any decision he makes.  If RHONY is banking on LuAnn's surprise popularity from last season to sustain or improve the ratings I think they are barking up the wrong tree.  I think the finish line surge in ratings had far more to do with Ramona and Mario's final separation which happened after the filming of the Reunion so we got to see the very nervous Ramona and the rest go after her like prey.

 

I feel the same way about BH-Andy continues to force Brandi down our throats because she will take her clothes off just for the asking and bring any amount of conflict she can manage and then scream she is being bullied.  There are times that once one of these woman has played out it is time to move on.  Now Brandi is just all about telling secrets or making unsubstantiated allegations.  Personally, I smell book with Brandi's latest high jinks with her attempting to skirt her way around legal my making the attacks and revelations personal and not necessarily show related.

My guess is that NY's premiere was below expectations due to the promotion it got, Bethenny's return, RHoBH as a lead-in and being in RHoBH's timeslot, but if it would've gotten higher ratings than RHoBH,* I'm thinking that would've been a massive exceeding of expectations.

 

* Part two of the reunion was the second or third highest rated episode of the season.

The stars indicate pre-Brandi and Brandi being in the hot season which was PT 1 of Season 5.  While Season 2 was probably it's most controversial season it had the best overall ratings in the first 5 years.  The finale episode helped LVP get her spinoff, that episode pulled a 3.02!

Omg Zoeysmom, thanks for posting that recap from Vulture. I don't recall having read a recap there before but I might have to start making it a thing. Some of my favorite bits:

Didn’t anyone tell Lisar that, due to the Giudice Violations Act of 2011, all Housewives must keep their hands and arms inside the ride until it comes to a full and complete stop?

 

The worst, though, was [Kim's] discussion with Lisar about what she said about Harry. She told them all she wouldn’t reveal what she heard because “that’s not who I am.” No, she’s just the kind of person who will make vague accusations on national television and then not tell anyone what they are so they can’t refute or disprove them. Instead, everyone just has some sort of foreboding feeling that Harry is a drunk womanizer who likes to dress in magic Mormon underwear and have baby kiwi birds eat cashew nuts off his grundle.

 

Lol, I feel like even Harry might get a laugh out of that description.

 

One last quote that I thought was fairly insightful--

In so many ways, Kim is actually the opposite of Brandi. Kim refuses to apologize to anyone about anything, even when she is wrong. Brandi apologizes profusely and thinks that completely absolves her from wrongdoing. Kim doesn’t want anyone talking about her or what she is doing. Brandi makes sure that every conversation is always about her and what she’s doing. Brandi can dish it out, but she can’t take it. Kim can dish it out, and if anyone tries to give it to her, she tells them never to talk about her again. 

In some ways I actually think that Kim and Brandi are very similar but I get what this guy is saying too and it's interesting how different they are when it comes to making apologies yet they still have similar expectations from people after the apology is given (in Brandi's case) or if it isn't given (in Kim's case). Both still think they should be absolved from whatever it is that they've done but they have different reasons for why they always feel they should be absolved.

Kim. Ah, Kim, a Koosh ball that has been left out in the rain. The only time she told the truth all night was when she told Brandi that, yes, Brandi does seem to have a problem with just about everyone she comes across. That was the one second of clarity Kim had, like somehow that pinprick of light shined through her fog of denial and narcissism. Other than that, it was just Kim deflecting, deflecting, deflecting, like she is one of Wonder Woman’s bracelets.
