AnnaL November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 I have always thought that Lisa Vanderpump had the best manners of anyone on this show. I think now, though, that Lisa has been through enough hard knocks by others that she's learned to play the game like everyone else is. I think after the reunion show fiasco, supposedly set up by Kyle, when everyone ganged up on Lisa, it was Lesson #1 in how to be victimized. Then, after the beach scene in Puerto Rico, when Yolanda led the charge and others followed, Lisa finally woke up to see that good manners just don't work with this gang. My own guess, after watching this first show, is that Lisa is now slinging sarcastic and pointed remarks to and about the others. It will be interesting to me to see whether she continues in this vein as a way of shoring herself up all season. There was no gang up meeting to take Lisa down during season 2 IMO Take it from where it comes, the one and only who said it happened was Brandi and we know she lies, if Brandi had to say that to get in the graces of Lisa then I am sure she had no qualms about making it up. Kyle denied that she was ever even invited to this supposed meeting, right to Brandi's face and Brandi admitted that Kyle's name was not mentioned. Camille confirmed that she was invited to a lunch with Adriene but that the issue of Lisa was not mentioned so she assumed it was just a lunch. Taylor also denied being invited. Brandi received an invitation to have lunch with Adrienne few days before the reunion and IMO she took it upon herself and her vivid imagination to assume the lunch was to talk about Lisa, Brandi saying that somebody from Adrienne's staff called her to tell ask her for confirmation about the "take Lisa down" meeting is laughable, as if any staff member would ever be so careless. So that again leaves us only with Brandi's word for it. Brandi was able to make up a whole lawsuit, she didn't blink an eye as she was spewing this lie time and time again. Kyle has showed season after season that she has no problem going face to face with Lisa and telling her when something bothers her. The fact that many of them seem to have an issue with Lisa doesn't mean that anybody is plotting to bring her down, the only thing is comes to mind is the same Kenya issue, if everybody around you seems to be having problems with you, maybe it is time to consider that YOU are the problem. Lisa gives her particular kind of sarcastic humor to anybody around her, backhanded compliments, digs, "jokes", brings their private issues as they are the elephant in the room and it is up to her to bring them up to the viewers to show how real she is, but when it comes to her she really doesn't like anybody "joking" about her, she doesn't like anybody talking about her, she doesn't want anybody not defending her. I saw Lisa's true colors last season with the way she aligned herself with Brandi to mock Joyce and the rose colored glasses come off. Lisa was enjoying the way Brandi tortured Joyce, she was belly laughing, not for one second did she thought that Joyce was another human being with feelings too, yet she demands that everyone thinks about her feelings and the things that hurt her. Lisa was to pretend that she is one step above all of them but the sad truth is that Lisa is just at the same level and they are all rolling around the mud of reality tv stardom. 17 Link to comment
zoeysmom November 20, 2014 Author Share November 20, 2014 Brandi seemed subdued all night - after the bathroom trip. I don't think they were snorting coke. Her talk with Adrienne was too calm not coke-heady. I think she was genuinely nervous seeing Adrienne and Lisa and realizing that she was odd man out. Brandi has been complaining of anxiety/stomach problems for the last couple of seasons with all the social messes she gets into, I think the bathroom trip was to build up courage, not to get high. That vendor looked like he could have been living out of his van, but if Yo and David have two entrances to their property, they might not have seen him there. He seemed pretty well established. FWIW I would totally live there, highway or not. She has stunning views. Here is Kyle's explanation of the party and Brandi's behavior: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills/season-5/blogs/kyle-richards/kyle-brandi-was-looking-for-troubl?page=0,0 Nice of her to set the record straight on her comments about the party. I think Brandi likes to draw attention to herself-so she takes guys into the bathroom with her and if later confronted she can screech how sick she was or they are gay men. She seemed to have no problems latching on the JR and then later went on to say how wrong everyone's impression of her was with JR and their trip in and around the bathroom. Link to comment
FozzyBear November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Wait, so, by my (admittedly faulty at times) math, Lisa is only 53?? I am not trying to be mean, but she is aging herself with her, ahem, "style" and whatever work she gets done. To me, Lisa looks a good 10 - 15 years older than Kyle or Brandi. I love LisaV, but even I'll admit she has really bad taste. I'm sure her clothes are expensive, but they always look like she shops at some mid-level mall store like White House/Black Market. Not that there's anything wrong with that (I shop there myself), but if you outfit cost $5000 I shouldn't ask you if you got it at The Limited. TBH I've never been impressed with the BH clothing. Houses? Yes. Clothing? No. LisaV and Aidrene can't resist looking like mall rats, Brandi dresses like an escort, Kim clothes are okish but her hair and makeup are a mess, and Kyle has great taste but no idea how to dress herself and constantly picks out beautiful things that look awful on her. Yolanda usually looks nice and I'll reserve judgement on LisaR. 2 Link to comment
jinjer November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Camille has worn some beautiful dresses. Her best choices are not strapless. She really has the best stylist on the show. Kyle's Kaftans have been sold on QVC I think. lol. 2 Link to comment
Lura November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 On the subject of Lisa's and Ken's ages, I find it hard to swallow the supposed "facts." When I was watching the show, I thought that Lisa looked like she could easily be in her 60s. I'm not saying I'm right -- just what my impression was. I think that both of them have been under the knife more than once. At his age, Ken should be all gray or white by now, but hair dye and a toupe work wonders in making the Hollywood men look years younger. Women in their 50s can easily appear younger, and you're not so old in your 50s as you used to be in bygone days. Lisa looked old to me. That's why I would put her somewhere in her early to mid 60s. During the past two seasons, I've also thought that Lisa's voice has grown more quivery and old-sounding. I just don't think that the age difference between the two is as great as it's purported to be. 3 Link to comment

copacabana November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 I like Lisa for the most part -- (side note: don't ever ever need to hear about her privates in any context!) -- and have wondered if she dresses for her part on camera. I wonder if she's in fact more elegant when she's not playing her Bravo character. She's obviously taken bits and pieces of Joan Collins, mashed them up with some Jean Shrimpton from a million years ago, and thrown in a dollop or two of Jacqueline Bisset from back in the day too. Including the long hair -- now, weirdly, tinged with pink -- Yipes -- a total Adrienne Mane move. A good, modern haircut would do wonders and, yeah, lose the hooker heels. Her dressing room is both incredible and testament to just how vulgar she can be -- Absurd levels of ostentation, but it does make for entertainment. Who can forget the wedding tiara? Ouch! The way she talks to her maid when she's in that space -- asking for tea or whatever -- always makes me think of Marie Antoinette. Ken, for his occasional airs, gives himself away too -- He gives off a kind of cockney, street brawler vibe when he gets angry. I'll bet he was a tough little scrapper once upon a time. That being said, I can't imagine the show without them and their various Villas, SURs, and overly chandeliered PUMPs. I miss seeing her in her home kitchen. She prepared a meat and potatoes meal for her family years ago that was right up my alley. Yolanda and Camille are definitely the chicest of the lot but Yo needs someone to help her deal with her straw like head of over processed hair. I'm expecting Lisa to engage in all kinds of crazy, disgusting talk this season -- We've already been treated to bushes, pink bushes, come look at my pink bush ... etc. All of them have some real competition from the two new ladies so the shock talk is bound to be amped up. I did think that LisaR. was totally mocking them and their weird boob touching fixation by latching onto to Kyle's at the party. Why these chicks think that kind of move is oh so hilarious, I just don't understand. 7 Link to comment

I think it has more to do with her hair and makeup than anything else. Like in S1, I thought she looked great at the Tonys, but her hair and makeup were toned down from the platinum blond and porny "nude" face she did a lot. And the dress was well fit and made her boobs look better proportioned to her body. I dunno. Maybe I just expect better styling from a bunch of rich BH ladies. 2 Link to comment

I despised Camille with the heat of a thousand suns during season 1. I do have to say that she is more tolerable nowadays and I ponder if that has to do with Camille being on her own without that hangeron DeeDee, That women sure knew how to kiss Camille's behind and was picking up fights right and left with anybody that got close to Camille. Now that she is out of the picture Camille seems more vulnerable and real and that might have something to do with her new and improved image. 4 Link to comment
copacabana November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Wendy -- DeeDee was a sycophant extraordinaire, wasn't she? I wonder if having Kelsey out of her life hasn't been the best thing ever for Camille. Getting divorced the way she did ain't no fun but he sounds like a pretty despicable fellow. Can't imagine some of that didn't rub off on her. His family history alone is so sad and dark. Glad she okay in terms of health. Like a lot of us, myself included when I was young, her taste in men doesn't seem to be the greatest. She's set up for life though. There is a vulnerability to her, so agree, that is appealing. And an elegance in her movements that most of these other ladies don't posses. She knows how to enter a room. 2 Link to comment

Amen AnnaL. I cannot believe how long the "take down" rumor has stayed put. Even after we have learned of all the lies that have slipped so easily out of Brandi's mouth. This one seems to have taken hold, even with Brandi herself minimizing it to the point where it hardly even exists anymore. To your point Brandi is the one who admitted that Kyle's name never came up and that she was not in any way involved. Still, I have heard over and over where Kyle is credited with being the mastermind of the whole plot (but never by Brandi). The fact that the only person to ever talk about this "take down" is Brandi says it all to me. She created all the drama way back then. Were some folks having issues back then? Sure they were. Would they have probably ever morphed into what they became without Brandi having her dirty little hands in it all? I don't think so. 5 Link to comment
ScoobieDoobs November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Have to say I was kinda fascinated watching Brandi & Yo take a walk on the beach -- it looks so beautiful. The sand, the beach, the exquisite colors and man, that weather. Wow, the sunlight looks so bright. Sigh, so jealous. I live in NYC where the weather is always shitty (except maybe 3 days outta the year) -- ugh, either too hot & humid or too cold & rainy/snowy (like now). Well, at least I have better skin than ANY of these gals -- and dat includes you too, Kyle. I've never had a botox needle anywhere near me, thank you. And btw, Moaner & Lulu are kiddin' themselves. The Hamptons are OK, but unless ya got a shack like Seinfeld or Howard Stern or Martha, I'd so much rather take Yo's place by the highway & that gorgeous beach & year-long beautiful weather & incredible sun. So er, how did Yo have access to the beach? By going thru someone else's property? Spend upwards of 30 mil & ya gotta trespass on someone else's property to get to the beach? Really? How low rent! 1 Link to comment

I expect rich BH ladies to have much better styling than these women do, too! Damn, anyone can go to Nordstrom and ask for a personal shopper to help you find clothes that actually flatter your body. I'd expect these women to do better than that. Instead, they have terrible clothes that don't reflect their age or figure strengths, and they have terrible over-processed hair with porn heels and makeup that ages them. (Except Kyle. Kyle has very nice hair, though I don't love her style). The worst is their plastic surgery and overdosing on fillers, though. 1 Link to comment

Persnickety1 November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Man, I completely forgot that this show was starting this week. In my search for last night's Top Chef episode on the xfinity site, I saw the thumbnail for RHOBH. I don't know if I agree about that. She's been snarky from moment one of this franchise, and she's inserted herself and stirred the pot since then, too. I'll never forget the lunch she had with Taylor where she urged Taylor to "sort it out" with Kim at the wrap party, even though by then it was obvious that Taylor and Kim had been snipping at each other since the trip to New York. And long before the season one reunion aired, she was using Giggy to snark on her fellow housewives by penning that ridiculous blog "written" by him. It's curious that the Bravo site no longer houses those season one Giggy recaps. To further the conversation that was going on about how Taylor managed to snag this guy: Never underestimate that there are many men (many, many, many of them) who love playing Superman. They see a woman who looks like a "damsel in distress" and whoosh! out comes the cape. I would classify Ken as that type of man, actually. Look how he was all about Brandi before Brandi shat on Lisa. He also treats Lisa the same way. Adding fuel to that particularly nasty fire, it was also obvious to all cast members and the Bravo crew that Kim had a raging substance abuse problem (I remember Bravo addressing the fact they had edited out a lot of drunk/high Kim in season 1 and apparently saved most of it for the Limousine Debacle). Lisa knew with certainty that "sorting it out" with Kim would lead to fireworks. And it did. Lisa's always been savvy to the ways around these women. I didn't buy any of her crying and woe is me scenes last season. Her chickens had come home to roost, and she was doing her utmost to look like an innocent bystander in this mess. That being said, I am totally on Lisa's side about Kim's daughter's graduation party. They RSVP'd to the negative and sent a gift. They were under no obligation to attend that party. Kim was totally off her nut in her ranting about them not attending. She knew well in advance they wouldn't be there, regardless of the reason. 4 Link to comment

The entire CA beach line is public property (state or fed. I forget) so there's no such thing as a private beach in CA. The closest you come is places like Malibu where the beach itself is public, but has very little access that doesn't require trespassing on private property. It's one of the reasons Malibu is so expensive, it's about the closest you can come to a private beach in CA. 1 Link to comment

I can never understand these moron’s that insult someone’s age. So immature, unoriginal and pointless. To me that’s like insulting your race or background, it’s something you can’t change. Ugh. Agree with others that Lisa V desperately needs a makeover. She’d look so pretty with an updated hairstyle, makeup, wardrobe, etc. I’m over her not being able to admit making mistakes. I used to have a friend like that & it’s like hanging out with Mother Theresa, that person feels they can’t do no wrong. Stop trying so hard, Lisa R the boob grabbing is not fun nor cute. Damn, both her and Taylor’s lips are beyond distracting. I was pretty taken aback by how utterly horrid Adrienne looked. Downright scary. Kim & Kingsley: Sigh. I called it *pats own back* from Kingsley day 1 (in TWOP). I said that she was not enough of an alpha to handle that breed; and that the dog was going to end up being BIG trouble for her. I hope the trainer he’s homed with is as good as Cesar Milan or Tia Torres. I just had a crossover visual …………… Tia (Pitbulls and Parolees) vs the women of RHOBH. Hilarity ensues. 5 Link to comment

Take this with a grain of salt (because I really didn't watch much of last season though I kept abreast of topics via discussion on TWoP), but I think it has to do with the story about Lisa trying to get Brandi to bring tabloids related to the gossip about Mauricio cheating. I did see some clips throughout the season, and I remember seeing one where they were all at Carlton's and Brandi brought up the tabloids. Kyle really looked ambushed. Then she had Yolanda starting in with the "Where's there's smoke..." only to have Lisa cut in and be loud, all "[Yolanda] is just saying, where there's smoke there's fire." Lisa was more than willing to sit around and really go in on Mauricio because of a conflict that she had with Kyle. One constant with Kyle is that she loves her family and really takes pride in her marriage. That Lisa would pick at it because she was upset with Kyle seemed a low blow. Seriously (TM Carlton) If that's it then I'm going to have to do one of my "shut up Kyle." Lisa said she didn't do it so she's not very likely to apologize for something she didn't do. If Kyle doesn't belive her (I've always maintained that I thought everyone's story about that one seemed fishy) than she may want to accept that she and Lisa aren't friends. If Kyle does belive her then she has no reason to expect an apology. Either way, shut up Kyle. Edited November 20, 2014 by FozzyBear 7 Link to comment

Nothing wrong about acknowledging that and then, yeah, snark away. That said, thanks. Many thanks for providing a home -- Can you find Brandi a permanent place to perch too? I'm sorry Brandi-Hell has closed and there is nowhere else for you to go. Please pack your tampons and leave. ScoobieDoobs November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Agree with others that Lisa V desperately needs a makeover. Can we tawk hair please??? Da Pump needs to do somethin' bout that mess. Any guesses if she wears extensions? It looks awfully thick. Not sure what she needs to do, but she needs a change desperately. Just over all, it looks too thick & heavy. I'm not into hair rules at all. I don't think it's that she's too old to have long hair. But this style just doesn't look right on her anymore. Mostly Kyle's hair looks great -- altho when she met Lisa in the empty restaurant it looked too flat & dull. Rinna's hair looks great. No change needed. I like Yo's hair. I may be the only one on here or anywhere who does, but I dig it. Brandi's hair looks OK. It ain't her looks dat is her prob. She needs a personality makeover & since that ain't a gonna happen, I keep thinkin' bout when is she gonna get the fuck lost already. Oh Kim, Kim, Kim. I wasn't really luvin' that CVS color, but when I saw the preview of her in a dark wig, I'd say she should stick to the CVS color. 4 Link to comment
motorcitymom65 November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 (edited) Take this with a grain of salt (because I really didn't watch much of last season though I kept abreast of topics via discussion on TWoP), but I think it has to do with the story about Lisa trying to get Brandi to bring tabloids related to the gossip about Mauricio cheating. Agree with your whole post. Has Kyle asked for an apology from Lisa? In her TH interview she just said that she thought she was the one who should be expecting a call from Lisa. I took that to mean that she thought Lisa had as much responsibility to reach out if she wanted to fix the friendship as did Kyle. As others have said, it isn't always about the apology. Sometimes it is just about admitting that you might have hurt someone, even if you didn't mean too. Just to acknowledge someone else's pain is comforting. Lisa should have never brought up the cheating rumors on TV. Period. End of story. She is not a newbie. She knew what she was doing when she did it. She tried to dress it up and talked about how she wanted to address the "elephant in the room". Bullshit. She wanted to get it on camera. That is a horrendous thing to do and I simply cannot see any way around it. This incident happened only about 2-3 months after the reunion, when Lisa called Mauricio's integrity into question. Lisa was clearly unhappy with Kyle at the reunion, and more so afterwards because of the interview that Kyle had given that said she felt ganged up on. When Lisa came to see her the tension was obvious. This was a low blow for anyone, but especially for Lisa. I guess my bigger question is what does Kyle have to apologize for? What did Kyle do to Lisa last year? I guess her big crime was in that she might have believed Brandi? Who knew in S4 that Lisa would ever consider believing Brandi to be a crime. Wasn't Lisa the one who told everyone she brushed up against for two years that this girl was good and honest to her core? Didn't she tell Kyle this? Didn't we watch her tell Joyce this just a few weeks before they went away? You know, the usual crap about how Brandi had been through so much but was really such a good person. But then suddenly, Kyle is wrong for believing Brandi when she comes to her with a story that sounds like it could be true, given some of the other things Lisa has said about Kyle. What the fuck, Lisa? Didn't you say she was honest to a fault? What Lisa really owes everyone else an apology for is in believing and advocating for Brandi. She was the one who crammed Brandi and her supposed positive attributes down everyone else's throat. Edited November 20, 2014 by motorcitymom65 16 Link to comment
ScoobieDoobs November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 (edited) Am I mistaken, or is everyone involved counting on that viewers have forgotten all this stuff? I know I mostly have. I couldn't even remember what they were supposed to be forgiving each other for. I mostly tuned out in the scene with them in the restaurant & just noticed how empty it was & how flat & dull Kyle's hair looked & how shitty Pump's hair looked. copacabana November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 One of the lamest aspects of these shows is that, in order to keep the ever loving DRAMA about all manner of BS up up and up, they give the impression that women aren't capable of breaking off with former friends and staying away for good. Or deciding, as we all do, that someone simply isn't our cup of tea and that there is no point in pursuing a friendship. Instead, we get an endless revolving door of phony betrayals about pretty petty stuff and then the gals on the periphery of that season's civil war taking sides and urging the participants to patch it up! Fake fake fake. I would hardly have remembered the various reasons for the pile up on Lisa last season had I not rewatched some of it a couple of days ago. I also noticed that, while I remembered Carlton and Mr. Joyce, I had somehow managed to wipe poor Joyce from my memory banks. Speaking of Carlton, she got points from me when she flat out told Lisa that no, she didn't need to pursue making amends to Kyle or working it out or whatever. She basically told her that no, she was under no obligation to do any of that and wasn't going to even try. Because this is how people operate once they get to a certain point -- not just men, but women also! Of course, this doesn't help one get recast, although Carlton had many other strikes against her. The Lisa-Kyle fight is so worn out and silly. In the words of street brawler Ken, Don't be so stooooped! I'll bet these ladies do spend quite a bit of time on the phone, trying to work out in advance how they're going to play their scenes, etc, and getting into character. Poor dim Adrienne is one who did have a legitimate beef because what Brandi did to the Maloofs was nonsensical and vindictive. You can't convince me that Adrienne would ever give Brandi the time of day again, for any reason, if not for this show. Or that Brandi herself would be much interested. They can talk for the cameras all they want to but those two are done. Adrienne will never trust Loose Lips again, I hope!, and Brandi must know that Adrienne will never really do anything more to help her again so, really, why bother? Brandi's now moved onto sucking the life force out of YoDa and Adrienne is doing this lame comeback to help restore her image which got badly dented on the way out the door. All this stuff does is give the impression that women are incapable of making final decisions, letting go of what doesn't work, and plunging ahead. Instead, endless chatter about clearing out the "negativity" when the only real way to do that is to remove oneself from what doesn't work. It's considered a strength somehow to be a perpetual doormat, doling out phony forgiveness -- being womanly and soft and supportive and ... bleeeeccch! 4 Link to comment

Lisa has apologized for what she is willing to. Kyle can accept that or not, as is her right, but Lisa has made it clear she has no interest in spending anymore lunches talking about Kyle's feelings. It's not going to happen. 3 Link to comment
car54 November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Brandi reminds me of people I've known that when they are lying or feeling guilty--they can't stay quiet--they talk more and more and faster and faster to fill any quiet space. 3 Link to comment
MatildaMoody November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Brandi saying that somebody from Adrienne's staff called her to tell ask her for confirmation about the "take Lisa down" meeting is laughable, as if any staff member would ever be so careless. Well, there is Bernie who often times spoke on behalf of the Maloof's without vetting his information first. So, it isn't that laughable. 4 Link to comment
RedHawk November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Ken, for his occasional airs, gives himself away too -- He gives off a kind of cockney, street brawler vibe when he gets angry. I'll bet he was a tough little scrapper once upon a time. That's exactly as I imagined him. He must have been tough to play professional soccer in England. I also don't believe he's only 69. I know he had hip surgery and thus walks stiffly and seems uncomfortable, but it's more that his mental state often seems doddering. My guess would have been that Lisa is around 63 and he is 75. 5 Link to comment
slade3 November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Yea, but Brandi didn't mean it as a compliment. For me, that is how I evaluate what is insulting and what is not. It is all about the intent. Brandi meant to be insulting and so IMO it certainly is. I do co-sign that the above list of gals are true beauties. Completely agree that this would be the way to handle most people, but Brandi is so far off the charts crazy, that this doesn't work. Remember, this is literally word for word exactly what Adrienne said to Brandi at the S2 reunion. When Lisa said that she had been told about some bad things that were being said about her, Adrienne asked who had told her these things. Brandi raised her hand and said "I did". Adrienne said. "Why would you say that? That's not nice". Brandi went on to actually say - in front of real live people and on camera - that she had said these things because Adrienne had stopped returning her phone calls and texts. To most normal people this would not sound like a legitimate reason to throw a friend under a bus, and they would be stopped short before they threw out such an excuse, embarrassed by their own emotion. Not Brandi. She proudly owned it all. She was considered the winner of the reunion. Lots of folks loved her. She sold lots of books. This is why Brandi believes that this type of behavior is OK. Oh, okay, I didn't know that. I started watching during season 3. That kind of depresses me! 2 Link to comment
Deputy Deputy CoS November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 I couldn't agree more with the Vulture article. He is on. Point. I can't believe how long the magazine rumor have stayed either. Replace Take down with Magazine, Kyle with Lisa and you have the same story. The common denominator is Brandi, but somehow Brandi's tale about Lisa is legit and there is nothing Lisa can say that would appease some, including Kyle. Who is so gracious that she wants to move forward and forgive this grievance. 2 Link to comment
Leroux November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Ok this really isn't Kyle snark exactly, I just can't remember. What does she want an apology from Lisa about again? How about a simple but direct apology for saying more than once that Mauricio and kyle are a couple of user who would befriend anyone just to secure a sale? Iirc this is one of the most hurtful and unfair accusations that I have heard from all franchises. Lisa who threw a fit because brandi said as a rumor that once upon a time they filed for bankruptcy and it could affect her businesses , but she had no qualm is dragging Mauricio's reputation as a realtor through the mud by not insinuating but flat out saying to any one that could hear her that Mauricio and kyle only use people to get a profit from them. That was extremely petty and lisa more than anybody know that this is not true as Mauricio was already their realtor when he introduced Kyle to them, that was 10 years before there was any show in the works. Lisa and Ken are all about the money and the only reason why they used Mauricio to sell their house was only because Mauricio is the best and the top realtor on that area. Lisa was very petty and extremely unfair, add that the fact that it was Lisa who brought up the issue of the cheating allegations time and time again like clockwork, I don't even add the issue of the magazines even though I believe that Lisa did have a hand in it, but even without that I believe that out of everybody Kyle was the only one with a real complain against Lisa and she did deserve an apology from her. Lisa and Ken comment about Mauricio's business ethics very petty and undeserved and Lisa should had apologized for making those allegations repeatedly. 16 Link to comment
psychoticstate November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 I love Lisa Rinna and am so happy she is on RHOBH. I agree with others' hopes that she will bring this show back to what it was. Add me to the people who love her house too. Not too ostentacious, not ridiculous. It's clearly her family's home and it just looks warm and comfy. Kyle looked fantastic at the White Party but those silver stripes on the white suit she wore to meet Lisa for lunch? Um, no. Can I move into Lisa V's closet? Please? Giggy in a bathrobe was unintentionally hilarious. I like Yo's shorter hair but am disappointed that we did not get a lemon reference. I look forward to what Eileen can bring. I did a quick IMDB search on her and did not realize she was married to Christopher Meyer, who was the replacement Luke Duke back in the day and that he died a few years ago. Sad. Brandi . . . take your poor, woe-is-me act over to Lifetime and have a chat with Tori and Dean. Why on earth doesn't she buy a freaking condo or townhome to live in? $50 grand for moving and storage for two months? Crazy. While I initially thought she would be a good addition to this show, she really has brought it down and brought negative energy to it. What does she offer? Well, besides the drunk and crazy, that is. 6 Link to comment
ryebread November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 I did think that LisaR. was totally mocking them and their weird boob touching fixation by latching onto to Kyle's at the party. Why these chicks think that kind of move is oh so hilarious, I just don't understand. For the same reason they think us watching them get waxed is funny. Every damn season. 4 Link to comment
ScoobieDoobs November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 (edited) Man, I remember when Adam was trying to drive Ashley nuts & it was the first time I saw her acting so darn squirrely -- I mean Kim-style unhinged, hysterical & wacky. I really hope Eileen brings that (or at least a little of dat), rather than Ashley's usually sensible, mostly dull tone. Have no idea what Vince is like, but just lookin' at him, I'm gettin' a douchey vibe. OK, at least I'm hoping so -- for my popcorn entertainment. charming November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 (edited) Lisa repeatedly denied on the show and off the show that she told Brandi to put the tabloids in the suitcase. Lisa also specifically apologized to Kyle on the Reunion show about Mauricio wanting to be friends with Adrienne just to get the sale of her house. At the sitdown on the premiere Kyle says she wants to move on. Then in her TH she says she wants Lisa to admit she was sorry about one thing. Lisa and Kyle are never going to get what they want out of each other. Lisa is still smarting from Kyle calling her manipulative and preying on weak people. Kyle is upset about Lisa puling away after she made those comments because that's how she feeeeeeeeeeeeeeels. So in this instance, I agree with Lisa. If they're going to try to be friendly again they have to put that behind them. Of course they won't because they can't. I don't think Lisa will ever fully trust Kyle again. Taylor already blew the whistle on the other women bitching about her. Paul even confirmed that Kyle had lots to say about Lisa behind her back. I'm just ready for Eileen. She has a too cool for school secure vibe that I'm interested to see the other women react to. Edited November 21, 2014 by charming 5 Link to comment
ScoobieDoobs November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 (edited) My guess would have been that Lisa is around 63 and he is 75. I remember on TWoP there were posters who were so convinced Lisa & Ken were telling the absolute truth about the ages they claim to be, any question otherwise would bring about near bloodshed -- and that horrible Howard woman. So talk of their ages actually skeers me a bit. But I'll give my 2 cents & never repeat it anywhere here or anywhere else & take cover after, I think your guess on their ages makes a lot of sense. Ken just looks to me like someone much older than 69. As does Lisa, being much older than what she claims to be. She doesn't look or act or walk or dress like someone who is 53/54. I'd guess her to be in her '60's. Edited November 21, 2014 by ScoobieDoobs 8 Link to comment
charming November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 If Lisa was in her 60s I'm sure Brandi would have screamed that from Yolanda's mountaintop already. Put that $9.99 internet search to good use. 6 Link to comment
jinjer November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 Kyle has plenty of gripes against Lisa and vice versa. Disparaging Mauricio's career, bringing up the other woman in front of Portia and then allegedly telling Brandi to bring the tabloids and in general being a mean girl along with her dream team. Kyle basically back stabbed Lisa with the other women for 2 or 3 seasons with Taylor and probably Adrienne and Camille, she didn't "have Lisa's back" because "That's how I feeeeel!" And then she believed Brandi. (As said above, why wouldn't she, Lisa had vouched for her for 2 seasons.) They are both guilty and should just drop it. They are frenemies! Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa and Ken were both older, but I think they both smoke and drink and that ages you terribly. 2 Link to comment
