Whatever happened to Marybeth, Paige's friend who hated JJ and who pretended that she had broken her arm to get Paige away from him at the party?

I'm pretty sure Paige figured that whole thing out. We never saw her reaction to Marybeth, though. The actress was in Straight Outta Compton and is going to play Storm in the newest X-men movie, so presumably she left to go film those roles.

Eduardo is creepy - especially with that icky bit of chin hair.  Does he or someone think that is attractive?  Ick.  Sorry - just my opinion of course.

Show is very dark - they need to throw in some light headed fun stuff - just a bit; every story now seems doom and gloom -

A Martinez, who plays Eduardo is a busy actor. I think his chin hair is most likely from his gig on "Longmire". I've always loved A.Martinez. He was half a supercouple with Marcy Walker on Santa Barbara back in the day. He also played Camilla Banus' father on OLTL too!!

I agree..all these murders for the 50th do not say "Happy 50th Anniversary" to me in any way shape or form. (Typical Higley IMO)

The glow of the new writers and storylines is starting to fade for me.  I am really getting tired of Eduardo being on in every other scene.  And his chin whiskers are starting to bug me too.  He's only been on for a few weeks (maybe less) and, for me, he's already overstayed his welcome.

And then there's Bo.  Is he ever going to have a scene with a character we know!  Seriously, he must have gone to work only 1 day to film all his repetitive, no dialogue scenes we've been watching the past month!

Poor Kayla, though.   Those were the best, albeit sad, scenes of the day.

So... Mary Beth is the new Storm? I thought she looked familiar...

I'm mostly tired of Brady speaking to Theresa like she's his younger sister. Dude is super condescending and in no way worthy of her time. I also feel like the writers have her repeat his name at the start of every sentence that is designed to further his seduction. It makes her look so desperate and makes us seem like complete idiots who won't get the point of every scene unless they spoon feed us information.

Like the rest of you I am also tired of Justin Eduardo and even Eve. Her mourning may feel very genuine but her story line continues to be sucky. I don't care at all whether she hooks up with Eduardo again or not. Girl needs therapy.

The thug giving Steve info really wasn't doing all that well with the scene. It probably seems like a minor qualm, but even day players can make a huge difference in the believability of the story.

After today's episode, I can honestly say that I still hate miracle cure storylines. They are the very type of stories that makes people laugh at soaps. It also doesn't help that this story is linked to Caroline suddenly developing a psychic link to Bo, whose impersonating Hannibal Lector, who appears to have been kidnapped for the miracle cure as the doctor who created the cure (who is not Bo) is well and dispensing the drug in Salem. Or will this latest Brady kidnapping be part of yet another evil Dimera plot, much like the retconned Aiden mess, which makes less and less sense as it progresses.

Speaking of what's going on with Bo, whoever said that if the writers don't move Bo's story along and have him interact with actual characters on the show, they will no longer care, is dead on. Bo has been back for about a month and this is all we get. I guess the show is trying to maximize the days he has committed to filming. Steve's return is being used for Silence of the Miracle Cure instead of backstory/explanation of his departure. However, since Bo got the "I was being held hostage, it was all a lie, forgive me in two days storyline," the writers probably need more time to spin a story that doesn't make Steve look like ish on a stick to Kayla, Joey and the viewers.

Because it can't be said enough -- Justin STFU and have All the Seats in every stadium in America. At this point, even if Chad were guilty, I think I'd be rooting for him to get away with it just to wipe that smug look off your face.

I love A. Martinez, but Eduardo can leave at any time now. I don't care about his issues or his sperm donating, family abandoning self.

I also agree with those who say Days is über depressing. The only characters who seem to have found happiness are John and Marlena, and they haven't been seen since she was nearly killed (which naturally put a damper on their happiness). Besides, knowing Days, these two will be miserable again before you can say, "Like sands through the hourglass..."

On a side note, plastic surgery continues to lose to its nemesis High Def. Names need not be mentioned.

Forgot to mention I have been thrilled with TP's return as Andre, but I didn't realize how much he was bringing to the show until I thought that TP was needed to bring some flair to the show as he was the most enjoyable part of last week.

I have been FF Bo's torture porn. I can't stand to watch it. We get it it. Bad bad horrible guys have been torturing Bo..do we know why? Do we care? I love Bo but what's the point? I want to see him with the characters he KNOWS for crying out loud!

And Justin??! I didn't think anyone could make me dislike Wally Kurth bit these jerks are coming mighty damn close.

Stop it show. Stop sucking.

And while your at it...lighten the everlovin' eff up!!!

Here's a first.  Or at least the first I remember.  Josh Taylor was pretty good today.  Roman Brady, who I usually only notice because he seems to share the same bad rug with Doug Davidson aka Paulie Tightpockets on Y&R.  He was good.  Very good, talking with Kayla and Victor.  Who knew??

I hear what you're all saying about the show being depressing in storyline lately, but for me, it was even more depressing just a few weeks back with the endless Sparkle Tooth Whitening and Sex Toy storylines, and the Abigail and Jenn "Whack a Mole" show.  Plus, Dirty Dan and his constant Tan Attack, so I'm happier more than not right now.

I am skipping through the Bo storyline - the torture is tedious, but the whole storyline is, to me, at least.  Steve roughing up the young guard who could have cracked him open and dipped him in warm butter was stretching credibility, but all was forgiven when Steve and the guard were wrestling and it looked the the guard took the time to fish a packet of tic-tacs out of his pants and stick one in Steve's mouth.  Dude must need mouthwash really badly.

Do you think there's somebody who could puncture Maggie's windbag of chirpiness?  She sets my teeth on edge on a good day, but that "my dentures are new, SEE?" gring she has, along with her passive-aggressive conversation keeps me convinced Mickey is hiding out in witness protection.  Is it any wonder her daughters and REAL grandson have changed their names and gone into hiding?

I'm probably in the minority but I'm not minding Eduardo at all.  Once again, that's probably because even though his character is new and disposable, we were subjected to months, hell, years, of having Dirty Dan and Abigail shoved in our faces on a daily basis, so a new face, especially when played by someone who can actually act is a pleasure.

So, when Caroline wakes up, think she'll be like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz and start rattling off mathematical equations?

If it's the Dimera's who are holding Bo, what the hell do they need the formula for?  Both Stefano and Andre are already charter members of the Hair Club for Men.

No one will deny it's good to see different faces on our screens, Boes, I just think the actual pace of the storylines and division of screen time are the persistent issues.

We're spending days and days and days on Eve's sadness and mourning, which the show seems to want to - once again - make all about Jennifer. Because Jennifer needs challenges in her life and apparently that's all Eve was good for.

Now we get to see Eduardo be a challenge for Rafe because he's suddenly UBER important to the show because the new head writer (according to you guys) insists upon it. Um...okay. But far as I can tell ten scenes a week of Rafe and the Whiteboard of No Progress is time wasted.

Meanwhile, Bo is stuck in a perpetual loop of agony and Caroline is getting a miracle cure for Alzheimer's?? Tasteful, show.

Frankly, the storylines I'm interested in are as follows: Kate, Theresa and Nicole getting Basic Black off the ground (I really hope they build an office set and we get to actually SEE Theresa sewing), Julie and Maggie repairing the new house (I don't really know why but it sounds sweet), whatever is going on with Andre and Stefano, and John somehow maturing enough to make up for his past stupidity in the Marlena department...bringing me to...

The only characters who seem to have found happiness are John and Marlena, and they haven't been seen since she was nearly killed (which naturally put a damper on their happiness). Besides, knowing Days, these two will be miserable again before you can say, "Like sands through the hourglass..."

You are definitely on the money....except that we never actually saw John by Marlena's bedside after she was strangled. Marlena spends four months by John's bedside while he's in a coma after they divorce because he practically cheated on her and even consents to her son letting his attacker off the hook to revive him....and John is needed for ONE NIGHT to be by her side and keep her safe and he's nowhere to be found??

What a dishrag. (Unless it was stated he left town for some reason, but that still pisses me off because he'd just be on some adventure instead of taking care of the woman he claims he wants so badly to be able to take care of. Marlena's not my favourite, but even she deserves better than that).

Hate that Roman & Victor basically pressured Kayla into letting the doctor administer the "miracle" drug - she's right that they have no idea if this will make Caroline better or worse.   I did enjoy Kayla going off on Victor though.

I enjoyed the scenes with Rafe & Hope

I really hope that Steve finds Bo soon - having Bo being tortured by thugs has not been entertaining (especially if it's just because of this magical serum)

STFU Justin - Eduardo too - hate that everyone's jumped on board to crucify Chad without having solid proof he's actually the killer & you know when they do end up finding out he's innocent - no one will apologize

I agree.  I was so tired of the endless rehashing of Will/Sonny/Paul and Dan/Nicole/Eric/Serena that I thought anything would be better. But now we're getting more endless rehasing, just with different characters.  Seriously, Eduardo is the new Serena!

I am enjoying Andre.  He's been on just enough to want more, not scream "get off my tv".

And though I may not love the storyline surrounding Caroline's miracle cure, I'm still glad she is being cured (I presume), so once she's back to normal, I'll just forget this whole thing.

I've been wondering if Theresa can actually sew. Or is she just the girl who draws the pretty dresses and hands the pictures over to Basic Black's seamstresses to produce the finished product.  As much as I dislike Abigail, I want to see her trying on the dress and Theresa pinning and tweaking it.  Course the dress will likely never be needed since, the whole "Ben is a serial killer" thing happened, not to mention the fiancee is in love with the man the fiance is framing for his murders.   At least we have Hope and Aiden's wedding to look forward to.  Then maybe not.

I'll possibly get to the point where I see it that way, but then again, maybe not.  After literally years of having Dan the Wonder Man saving the day, every single day, and Jenn and Abigail on a three year long slapping spree, I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing on screen right now.  Actual talent.  What a concept.  After what Show has done for so long, I'm not seeing a problem with a single storyline dominating, not with the Bo storyline, Caroline, Chad, and all the underlying subplots.

Jawn is a tool, always.  He's probably not with Marlena right now because he's off getting his fart reflex recalibrated.

You're right, Justin, how could Brady and Theresa's relationship be any of your business?

Uggh, Justin was super annoying yesterday. It's bad enough that just when Brady looks to be warming up to Theresa and actually has a heart he ruins it on his own; he doesn't need Justin helping him.  Their conversation felt skeevy to me the way they talked about their "baby mamas."   This show is becoming filled with deadbeat dads and cocky players. I felt like Justin was trying to bond with Brady over their shared "indiscretions"--the women they thought were good enough to sleep with and bear their first born but not have any other worthy role in their lives...or were worthy of love.

And then there's Bo.  Is he ever going to have a scene with a character we know!  Seriously, he must have gone to work only 1 day to film all his repetitive, no dialogue scenes we've been watching the past month!

This is bugging the heck out of me too! Why bring PR back to waste his time on scenes that could be shot by a stunt double???

LOL

Maybe it's Clyde behind it all. He's expanding his illegal drug trade to the AARP market!

I love A. Martinez, but Eduardo can leave at any time now. I don't care about his issues or his sperm donating, family abandoning self.

This is another waste of talent in this role.  I could see him in a great storyline with Kate except I'm grossed out that she already slept with his son.

I enjoyed the scenes with Rafe & Hope

I did too. I think they are cute together.

Kayla barking "You're not family" to Victor made my heart explode. It was a thing of beauty. It's funny how much of my old Victor hate has resurfaced now that he's back to being a more involved character and not just relegated to spewing out amusing, but really offensive if I thought too much about them, insults and one liners.

It's a minor point, but didn't they specifically say that Caroline didn't have Alzheimer's, but something that mimicked the symptoms? I won't be too bothered by a mystery cure if it's for a non-existent mystery disease. And as ridiculous as it is that Bo has been off screen all this time chasing down said miracle cure and being held prisoner because of it, it's okay by me. I can see wanting to save his mother as the reason for bailing on Hope and his kids more than I can see him doing it in order to chase after the Dimeras or some random bad guy.

They did make that distinction - that Caroline is suffering from something that mimics, but isn't Alzheimer's.

Wasn't that just dropped in recently though?  I thought they'd initially diagnosed Alzheimer's and Bo took her to the best Alzheimer's training camp in the country.

Oh, yes, it not being Alzheimer's is a big ol' retcon.  But like shesajar said, I'm fine with Caroline getting a miracle cure for a made-up disease as opposed to the show pretending it can cure Alzheimer's because...that would be very uncool.

I love Kim and Shane just as much as Jack and Jennifer, Steve and Kayla and Wilson...I remember all the pain that Victor caused Kim and Shane...Out of all of the couples, they had the most angst and never really had long moments of happiness. I remember when they decided to divorce for good, even after finding out that Theresa was Shane's. They loved each other but too much had happened for them to remain together as a couple. Kim was tricked into shooting Shane by her lover at the time. It was really bad. That was the final straw for Shane, who was recuperating from his injuries at the hospital. It was bittersweet and they parted as friends and co-parents to their children. It is why I absolutely loved their reunion at Alice Horton's funeral.. It is probably why I like Theresa because she is theirs...

Who leaves their windows unlocked when a serial killer is running around town??? I realize she's sleeping with the killer, but she doesn't know that!  And do they live that close to the Dimera mansion? I swear I blinked and Chad went from daddy's living room to Trollop's bedroom.

Man oh man, but the wardrobe and hair departments on the show must abhor KM because she looked awful today.  And if we were supposed to think she was feeling better because she went from wearing the ugly sweater to wearing an equally strange jacket, her hair was styled the same unattractive way, so epic fail.  And it's so jarring because the actresses playing Theresa and Gabi looked so gorgeous in their scenes.

I did however think Abby was okay in her scenes with Chad--yes she was typically self-absorbed but she also seemed genuinely worried about Chad and his future and I can understand her denial about Clyde.  Who wants to admit to themselves that their father in law to be is a serial killing psychopath/drug dealer?

I also liked the Theresa/Brady scenes and they are much cuter together and more rootable when they are both floundering first time parents, trying to figure their baby out as opposed to Theresa being the screw-up and Brady's Father Knows Best.  But someone needs to give Tate acting lessons--I didn't believe he has colic for one minute :):)

I could see her split ends from a long shot camera angle, forget the close ups!  I think it's time for a fresh cut.  What was even more strange is that when she went out dressed up, her hair was still pulled back, looking like mine when I haven't had a shower or washed it and I'm planning on doing housework or cleaning out the garage for the day.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but is JJ now telling Roman that it's the Raping Hick? JJ moves as slow as molasses and Roman should have known better than to hire that idiot to go undercover. JJ please, let the hick kill your mother and sister, they're not even a blip on the radar and he would see that his life is so much better without them. What happened to JJ?? I use to root for him, now I can't stand him.

Are they going for a JJ/Gabi pairing? Why not? We're in dire need of Jen & Maggie flailing and going off about JJ dating a murderer and the Twit being uncomfortable with it. We need to see that just as much as we need to see Stefano swinging his penis around.

Don't know what time of day Tate started crying because it's the nanny's day off. How about calling the nanny to see if she's available to talk over the phone? I'm sure 5 seconds out of her day to answer one question isn't going to tax the nanny or she'll be asking for more money as a result. Oy. Brady, "I head of Colic". Really?? Who hasn't heard of colic? I don't have children and know what colic is. Brady really needs to wear a "Too Stupid to Live" t-shirt.

I see BOllie is still as stupid as a box of rocks. So easily influenced by his hick father.

I'm ignoring all things Twit and twit related, any scenes she's involved in, I'm not going to pay attention. I don't even know what it said today. I put the tv on mute, I don't care what comes out of her mouth.

It was odd that the show came back from a commercial break and 30 seconds later there's another one. WTF???

Does the show get a discount on leather jackets? Makes no sense how many characters own one of those things. Writers must think that leather jackets make characters look brooding, dark, and badass when it doesn't.

Why is Stefano in a wheelchair, did he trip on a blade of grass? Or did he fall out of a window after seeing The Twit naked?

So, don't know what's wrong with me, but I didn't hate Abigail today.  In fact, I thought her acting was better than usual in her scenes with Chad. Her facial expressions seemed to, well match the words she was saying.

I also liked Brady & Theresa. And chuckled as I imagined the poor camera person who had to keep trying to avoid capturing Tate's face since it was obvious the baby was not crying.

And I could see JJ & Gabi as a couple, though I do have a bit of a problem with the fact that Gabi killed someone and got out of jail on a technicality.

The music in the background of Clyde and Ben's conversation wasn't just annoying, it was way too loud.

Why is Roman being so difficult for JJ to talk to? Does he think JJ is lying about all of the info he was telling him? How did Stefano know that the police are investigating Clyde as the drug lord in town, when even Roman didn't know that?

I can't believe that I'm about to say this, but I actually found myself defending Abby today. At no point did I hear her being rude to Clyde as Ben claimed. It seems as if he is going to go the "you do everything wrong" route with Abby. That is typical "control freak 101" behavior. Nobody deserves that. Lying and cheating does not give anyone grounds for emotional abuse.

If today's scenes with Brady and Theresa were supposed to be part of the slow buildup of this couple, I'm all in! It was nice to see them united in a non backbiting, alcoholic, or drugging kind of way. Plus, we were treated to a little of Theresa's backstory which has greatly been missing.

I bow down at Billy Flynn's performance of Chad. I never thought that I would ever like a Dimera, but I sure do like him :)

As for "hayseed and son", they were FF material for me. All I see is Clyde being slimy and Ben being a butt kisser. No thanks!

JJ finally telling Roman the truth is WAY overdue. Roman's reaction was frustrating as hell. Let the boy talk! Now, if he doesn't get someone killed over this, it will have been worth it.

Gabi and JJ......I could be into it. Time will tell :)

Why was Kayla apologizing to JENNIFER for not being able to attend Paige's funeral?

For the same reason Jennifer was thanking Brady for coming to the service, like she was hosting the event or was a family member. Jennifer nominated herself the most important one.

JJ seemed too nice and chatty to someone who killed his cousin and has a hand in the town blowing up that killed his dad.

I'm sorry for posting so late today, but I was on the phone with Jennifer apologizing for not being able to make it to Paige's funeral.  Conversation didn't go well.  She told me to fuck off and go fellate a turtle and that Abigail was gonna give me a beatdown in the Square next time I showed my punk ass in town.  Then she invited me to Book Club.

Strange woman, that one.

Really good day for Theresa, one of the best we've seen that centered around her , at least to a degree, in a while.  The backstory bits were good, Jen Lilley's acting is always good IMO, and even this version of Brady is.....(God forgive me for saying this).....acceptable.  If she HAS to be stuck with this bonehead, then at least as long as he's not in abusive bonehead 'beat up the wimmins' mode, I can live with it.  But I sure wish Show would give her somebody better.

I guess Josh Taylor gets one good day a year and yesterday was it because he sure was a mess today.  Either his rug was too tight and hurting him, or his Dentu-strips stopped working but I could barely understand a word he was saying.  Between his mumbling and JJ's whispering I finally put on the closed captioning and they STILL didn't make sense.  Roman is one of the folks who recruited JJ, so him saying the feds wouldn't believe him makes NO SENSE.   If Roman is all of a sudden thinking that getting his undercover agents from the middle school crowd is stupid it's a bit too late.

Good part of this, for me, anyway, is that once JJ got away from Roman, he perked up and showed a bit of that old JJ spark I always liked.  Good on him not backing down to Kaddidlehopper Pere.

How awesome was that last conversation between Chad and Andre when BF mimicked TP's voice and gestures?  I wonder if that was scripted because it looked like TP was trying not to laugh.

Chad and Andre were especially delightful today, in all their scenes.  I saw that too, and it really did look like TP was about to bust out laughing.  Billy Flynn is a find and he's doing a good job with this storyline.  If ONLY he wasn't matched up with Hunchback of Horton Square.  Okay, she's no bellringer, I grant you, but the girl has ugly in her personality down pat.

I didn't see any improvement in her acting skills today but she wasn't any worse, either, I guess.  Ben being a jerk isn't acceptable, even to her, but I'm also pretty damn sure that, as usual, she'll be America's Sweetheart and all  the crap she pulls will be swept aside as just more of her charming Kangaroo Kwirks.  Nope, not seeing anything good there.

She doesn't deserve to be the recipient of emotional abuse, even though she's doled out enough to others.  And I do agree that she wasn't rude to Klyde and Ben is being even a bigger jerk that before.  But that's as kind as I can get about this woman.

Great post!   I can see Gabi and JJ, too.  And Gabi being Paige's unknown sister adds another element.  I bet JJ gets some pushback, though, considering Gabi did - rightfully so IMO, send Nick to the other side.

Once again I ff'd through nothing and Show has me looking forward to tomorrow's episode.  I can't say that for Y&R, the only other one I'm still watching.

Glad to have you back, boes!

I also couldn't understand most of what Josh Taylor was saying today.  I figured it probably didn't matter and stopped trying, since JJ is going to do whatever idiot thing strikes him next anyway.

Today was pretty good.  I especially enjoyed Andre and Chad.  I am sad that it looks like Gabi and JJ are going to be paired, though, because I so want to see her with Chad.  Camila Banus and Billy Flynn would be so, so pretty together and damn it, he deserves better than KM.

Theresa and Brady were surprisingly enjoyable.  He's fine when he's not in he-man-shake a woman-knuckledragging mode.  JL and EM did a little singalong last year (Christmas?) that was adorable, so this year I'm hoping for some cheesy holiday pageant where all the good singers on the show get to strut their stuff without it having to be a running story line.

I also did not think Abigail was rude to the hillbilly, but I still wish her character would truly and sincerely die.  Actually, if she died right alongside the hillbilly and his strangler son, then I'd be right happy.

Abigail continues to horrify, but isn't it amazing how Dr. Tan the Dan Man has practically disappeared??  And when he is on screen, he seems pissed off about it.

Yes!  I was just going to post something similar.  It's amazing how quickly an actor that ate the show for years has fallen out of favor.  It was nearly instantaneous.  I hope

when Vincent Irizarry shows up he will get paired with Ari Zucker.

Oh gosh, me, too.  There was so many characters being wasted on Dr. Tan and Abigail propping duty, endless repetition of conversations, stories stuck in a rut for months, characters acting out of character, etc.  But I get what people are saying about it being too dark and depressing.  I'm a cozy mystery and Dateline/Cold Justice/Lt. Joe Kenda junkie so the tenor of the show right now doesn't bother me (though Ben's murders and Bo's torture are too much).  Plus, murder mysteries are an old soap staple, a good way to clear the canvas, and relatively short-lived.  I think there's lightness and romance on the horizon.

Why is Clyde still so eager for Ben to marry that girl?

He thinks she's klassy, which goes to show just how stupid he is.  I gotta say, though, that James Read brings the shiny crazy eyes like no one else in recent memory.  They really shouldn't have made Clyde a child molester, because otherwise I'd find some humor in the way he made Abigail uncomfortable today.

Also, is Anne really gone?  I missed the episode where Theresa summarily and shittily unfriended her and would be sad if that was the end of the character.  MSL is hilarious and just the kind of lightheartedness the show could use.

It is most definitely established that he's the strangler, ShadowSixx.  Last week or the week before, Ben was shown throwing away a box of cheap red ties, a black mask, and petals from the unknown rare flower that is not native to this hemisphere but is grown in the Dimera garden.  And then last week Ben had some quite graphic flashbacks of murdering Serena and Paige.

I wonder what his sister Grimace Sue thinks of him being a murderer? Rare flower in the DiMera garden?? LMAO, ok. Did that flower happen to sprout after Twit and Chad put their sex stink on it? What's the flower called Jar Jar's Vag??

I'll probably like it if BOllie takes requests, here's my list: Jen, Dan, Twit, Maggie, Raping Hick.

Man I just adore Billy Flynn  - I didn't mind the previous Chad but Billy's Chad has quickly become one of my favorites - I do hate that he's saddled with weepy Abigail (who I seriously think the hair & wardrobe people must hate because they put her in the most hideous outfits) - I'm still hoping he'll end up with anyone else but Abigail -  Has Billy's Chad had any scenes with Gabby?

Love the scenes at Dimera mansion - I'm so happy Andre's back (if we can't have Tony - Andre is the next best thing)

I'm over the JJ/Clyde drug crap - can we end this story pronto?

And did I miss the scenes leading up to Gabby on the pier?   I do freely admit I was FF thru a lot of yesterday so could have easily missed a scene with her before JJ rescued her from creepy dude.

While I enjoyed the scenes with Theresa & Brady - i still don't want them as a couple & hate that they've given them a baby to keep them together.

The show has deliberately kept Chad from any other women on the show...That is a damn shame...I think Chad would be great with Gabi and Theresa. I also think that the show was dumb to give Theresa and Abigail babies..Especially Theresa....

You know what I really appreciated about the Chad/Abby conversation?  I appreciated his shock when Abby talked about the abuse Clyde perpetrated on Jordan and Ben and I especially liked that Chad mentioned Jordan and that he'd love to know what she really thought about Clyde.  I like that the show hasn't forgotten just how horrendous Clyde was to her.

And I wonder if the show is going to go the route of Ben's gaslighting Abby and making her defend/question herself?  I am not an Abby fan and I want to see her called out on all of her crap, especially her cheating with Chad but if the show has Ben being the serial killer and emotionally abusing her, then she's not going to be held accountable at all and I hate that.

I like that JJ' helped Gabi and didn't turn a blind eye to her perilous situation--he knows that Nick wasn't this wonderful person and that she killed him because she had to.  JJ's not about to throw stones at anyone else's actions and I find that refreshing.  I still cringe at Julie's hysterical meltdown in the square over Nicky's being killed and how she glared at anyone who had been mean to him, completely forgetting all of his criminal activities--the show doesn't need anymore hypocrisy.

Has Theresa ever mentioned Andrew?  When she talks about her childhood, she always references her mom and dad but never her brother--I wonder why.

I also think that Theresa ended her friendship with Anne because Anne was all about drinking and partying and do you really see her content to hang out with Theresa if there isn't booze available?  If their friendship was toxic like that then Theresa was right to end it.

I respectfully disagree about Nick. I am a Wilson fan and I felt that Nick was lost and damage and he did not deserve to die. There are other people on the show who are worst than him..Gabi was wrong in killing him the way that she did..Quite frankly JJ and Gabi getting together is wrong and I hope the Hortons give him hell for that.. I was shocked that Maggie's daughters never gave her hell for being with Victor. Victor tried to kill her daughter Melissa, who had to go on the run..

I have fond memories of Nick and Chelsea..I loved the quad of Nick/Abigail/Chelsea/Max and they were awesome together..Nick was sacrificed for Melanie Jonas..The Jonas Family ruins everything..Tomsell could have redeemed him by bringing in Chelsea and reuniting them..I remember how Nick was there for Chelsea, when she was a pariah in Salem..He saved Kayla's life. He was there for Sami, when she was being terrorized by EJ. I will never understand why the show turned him into a murderous, crazy, obsessive, homophobic douchebag..I don't know why Horton kids on this show are always  sacrificed. Zack, Nick and now.....It is kind of ironic that the Horton Family is the first family of Salem..

I think Andrew not being in Salem is odd, if the show is truly about celebrating the show..He should have come back and interacted with his family. Andrew was a part of alot of storylines in the 80's..He should have a prominent place on the show as a Brady...Bo was willing to become Victor's son, to get him away from Victor who had schemed to get him away from Kim..

Billy Flynn is winning the day every day he's on screen. I loved the intimate way he touches Stefano and yes, his split-second mimicry of Andre was great. He's also very graceful, isn't he -- he kind of glides around (and out the window). I'm rooting for them, even though Abigail isn't my favorite character.

Love seeing JJ with some spine, too -- he's a brave kid, standing up to Clyde like that. I laughed to myself when Roman walked in to the creepy old house and says "I was trying to decipher your message." LOL - Salem's crack detective/commissioner has a hard time figuring out where JJ is telling him to meet. And yes, it was like watching a dentist pull a tooth waiting for JJ and Roman to get to the heart of the matter. But I think he's got JJ's back on the dock, right?

The absence of Dan continues to be sublime : )

The Nick that came back from prison was not a nice person and he didn't learn a damn thing--he attempted to rape Gabi and when he came back from "the dead" he pulled the same intolerant homophobic crap that he did before he went to jail, thereby nullifying any previous apology.  Nick decided that Will, Ari's father, wasn't good enough to raise her because he was gay and he was just as hateful to Sonny. He truly thought that he was more qualified to raise Ari with Gabi because he was heterosexual and I can't get past his desire to destroy a little girl's happiness to muster up much sympathy for him and his death.
