I know Logan went his own way  once he went to college. However it never occurred to me that he really hated being on the show.  I knew his wedding wasn’t filmed per their choice.  Everyone went out of their way to not even mention who  ‘the bride and groom’ were.  No one mentioned any detail even in the afterward talking heads.  No photos.  We of course saw photos on other threads.

I feel so stupid - I watched the whole episode not knowing who’s wedding it was!  I kept rewinding when Christine introduced the subject, but now I get that the editors smooshed her words, and close captioning just said “a wedding.”  Wow, Logan and Michelle have really taken a strong stand.  Good for them.

These episodes have been wild.  The truth is finally coming out.  The jealousies, the divisions, the dark (and REAL) side of polygamy.  Yes!  Finally.

I also had no clue that the wedding they were talking about was Logan and Michelle's. That was 2 years ago!

The shot of Kootie riding his bike? I had to rewind and watch again, it made me laugh so hard seeing him pedalling his way across Plague Pass.

The language the different "sides" use really tells a story about who has moved on and who hasn't. Kootie is betrayed and at war, Sobbyn is heartbroken and confused, the victim narrative is strong with those two. Janelle and Christine are uncomfortable, looking to be friendly but not friends. Awkward!

When did Christine leave Flagstaff again? If the wedding was in October 2022, just how much time had passed between her departure from Kody and the wedding?

Christine put her Flagstaff house on the market in August 2021. The first sale fell through so she listed it again. The house sold that October, but I believe she had already moved by then.

I've been watching this show since the very beginning and I was confused at times about the time frames they were referring to. I did think Logan and Michele's wedding was earlier than Oct ,2022 though. So the info on that did help me sort things out.

If TLC is trying to build a history of what led to the break up, they are making it very confusing to actually follow. I think many of us here could give a far more coherent picture of how it all fell apart than what we are seeing now....

Haven't watched yet, but will. Am wondering if after Garrison died, things had to be edited or re-edited so as to not include him? Am assuming he attended Logan's wedding. So only two years behind now?

Isn't this the wedding where he was the "Beer Boy"? Or was that Hunter, I swear it was Garrison. He was tossing beer s as he walked down the aisle.

I agree @Gramto6. I know they were a couple a long time, but thought they have been married more than 2 years.

Thanks for that nice memory! But it makes me sad too, that's why I gave the post the crying face.

I understood, both sad and nice at the same time. Janelle mentions that she has these sam reaction when these memories pop.

Then Robyn saying it never stopped Kody from going to another wife. Yes, witch, it did!!! Doing that encourages the behavior. Robyn's manipulations were on full display.

Not only did it cut into his other wive's time it was also an excuse he used to not attend Ysabel's surgery. No way he could be away from "the Tenders" that long.

Ari looked so much older in the game night scene. She is way too old to be having tantrums. The little "cute stories" that they tell about Ari make me think she is spoiled rotten and that's on K&R.  On another note I'll just bet those apples that they were eating are Mrs. Prindables from QVC. We all know that Robyn shops there. And those apples aren't cheap. But of course nothing but the best for Robyn and the Robynettes whereas Truley got a lopsided box cake for her birthday.

Janelle is choosing violence and I am here for it. She str8 up called Robyn and Kody bad parents for indulging Ariella's tantrums.  LOL! Dems fighting words. Love it! The whole 'tenders' can't be without their dad for more than 3-4 days was always so rage inducing. The man has 13 kids and he can't stay posted up at Robyn's house 24/7.   Kody said he asked Robyn to address Ari grabbing his leg trying to leave to visit his other wives and her response: "no you need to take the time to allow her to feel these feelings." Then Robyn saying it never stopped Kody from going to another wife. Yes, which, it did!!! Doing that encourages the behavior. Robyn's manipulations were on full display.

Robyn is such a liar.  I distinctly remember her once saying that Kody had to be at their house every Christmas morning.  She insisted!  And of course Kody acquiesced.  It didn’t dawn on Robyn that the other wives had kids who would have liked their father to be around on Christmas, too.  Or she didn’t care.

In water is wet news - Kody sounded utterly unhinged saying a 6-7 year old Ari was showing loyalty by stating she 'doesn't like Christine because she left' Wondering from whom she is modeling that behavior. All the "cute" stories they tell about Ari just always sound slightly disturbing to me.

Really illustrates who is involving kids in the "divorces" and who isn't. She didn't think that statement up on her own!

If I remember correctly, Robyn involved the viewing public in the whole narrative of HER divorce. And what has she done to encourage her children to have a healthy relationship with their biological father? I seem to remember her inserting Kody with her kids from her 1st marriage into photos that were taken before Robyn and Kody got together? Robyn doesn't "get" divorce? All her grimacing and crying is, IMO, about how attacked she feels now that her #1 top bitch identity is gone. Yes, Robyn, you are now the only wife. The only thing I am wondering now is how does she rationalize that 3 reasonably "normal" women have walked out on Kody, after having put up with him and his shenanigans, for more years than she has? I think that's the true source of all of her supposed angst and pain. Rant over.

Is Areola still sucking on her pacifier?

No. I think this is the first season without it.

Ari being "loyal" by hating Christine reminded me of when she said Christine should have been going on more dates with Kody, not leaving town.  Yet Robyn has always insisted that plural wives never talk about the other wives' relationships. And should not be discussed in front of the children.

I wonder about the not mentioning what the event was, though.  There was what I call the black screen of pouting where there was a statement that cameras weren't allowed at the event.  Then no one was allowed to even mention Logan's name.

Michelle received many DMs about this. She said they didn’t request their names not be used, and didn’t even know it would be part of the show at all.

That family game night scene was not filmed n 2022.  Sol and Ari look way too old to have been 6 and 8 at the time.  Also, when did they become the von Trapps?  I've never heard that any of the family was musical nor that they sat around playing guitars and singing.  Interesting that they didn't show that

I think you are correct about this scene not being filmed in the fall of 2022. Last season we saw Ari and Sol filmed during Christmas 2021. Ari was 5 and  running around with a pacifier in her mouth. I was taken aback when I saw her supposedly one year later age 6 at the family game night. No way this kid was 6. She looked closer to 8. Just saw Sol from the back but he also appears to have grown a lot and did not look like an 8 year old. It will be interesting to see if Ari and Sol appear to be aging backward in subsequent episodes. It's more noticeable with the kids when they play around with the time line than it is with the adults.

I would not be surprised if this family game night was Kody's idea. He wanted to show everyone that they are the perfect loving family sitting on the floor and playing games.

Perhaps if they mention them, then TIIC have to pay them? And I'm sure production was super pissed that L&M refused to have their wedding filmed so perhaps production told the adults not to say their names?

Isn't Ari actually developing and wearing a bra, and isn't she only 8?  That does seem incongruous with throwing tantrums and still using a pacifier, if she is.  I would never criticize children, but both she and Solomon and even Truly are very different from the other, older kids.  Ari had two much older sisters and an older brother who were full siblings, isolated with her during Covid during her babyhood and then when the family split, and no doubt treated her like their own personal baby doll.  Additionally, being K&D's last shared child, she would be especially "cherished."  Not that this has been good for her...

Solomon was born in 2011, wasn’t he? If so, he would have been 11.

I thought Solomon was 11 in that scene, so Ari would've been 9.  That's still young for puberty, but I guess kids develop early these days!  She also seems not to take after Robyn and Solomon, with their very slight builds.

It takes a special, next-level narcissist to make Logan's wedding all about Kody, and Mykelti's twins birth all about Robyn.  Those two should teach a Master's level class.  They are both terrifyingly delusional.

Kody stating out loud that he thought that the wedding guests were going out of their way to have more fun than they really were as a dig against Kody?  I had to rewind that to make sure I heard him right.  He actually thinks that nothing good can happen unless he is a participant, and that others weren't having a good time because Kody didn't do his patented hair shake and booty shimmy in the center of a circle of people.  Unhinged.

I applaud Logan with a standing ovation for not allowing his or Michelle's names to even be mentioned on this show.  But I feel quite certain that Kody played the "we won't be there/we will be there/we might not be there" game with the bride and groom, probably up to the day before the wedding.  But it simply astounds me that Kody and Janelle were incapable of having an adult conversation about how this is their son's day, and whatever they had going on between the two of them needed to take a firm back seat.  I mean, I expect that from Kody but Janelle is to blame too.  Janelle allowed Kody to be a crap excuse for a father and husband for way too long.  And then here's Kody's mug popping up on the screen wondering why he and Janelle can't make it work??  UNHINGED.

Also, I am disappointed in Janelle for taking video of herself before and after her son's wedding, discussing how awkward it was going to be, etc.  Geez, woman - just allow yourself to have this one day of joy, untainted by whatever stupid nonsense is going on between you and the village idiot.  I'm sure TLC didn't insist on self-shot footage when you were an hour away from walking down the aisle on your son's arm, FFS.

I have not really watched this show in years but I understand little Ariana said she “hated” Christine because well…loyalty.  The only other 2 times I recall her talking were

  • when she said Christine needed to go on more dates with Kody
  • she “stole” some other child’s “man”

Do they show her saying anything more “kid” like things? I feel like Kody and Robyn are always blabbing about adult matters in front of her which is totally UNSAFE!!

Ariella.

I think both Janelle and (especially) Christine are being very spiteful and childish about the whole thing.  Maybe some of it is producer-driven to keep the dramaz going, and if so okay, but jeez, LET IT GO.  Marriages (spriritual or otherwise) don't always work out.  Move on.  They claim to be moving on while remaining obsessed with Kody and especially trying to make him jealous or regretful that he "lost" them.  I just saw a pic of Christine and David recreating K&R's love pose in front of a white sports car.  Really?  GROW UP.  Kody was pretty transparent, I thought, about falling madly in love for the first time in his life with this woman Meri, by the way, foisted on him.  So maybe he should've just said, "I'm now a monogomist; sorry," but he claims he couldn't due to his religion, so he was passive aggressive about trying to convey the message that he was over it. That was his failing.

But they're all pushing 60 now.  Stop acting like junior high kids.

I read elsewhere on the web (so it must be true, LOL) that Logan and Michelle declined to have the wedding filmed for the show.  They were surprised that production put so much effort into not even allowing their names to be spoken on the episode which included their wedding.  The "pay them back" theme underlying this show seems to go all the way up to the production level.

Does Kody not eat bacon and drink beer?

As of the episode (many seasons ago) when they went to Hawaii, Kody did not eat pork, because Jesus did not eat pork.

Kody will occasionally drink beer. All of them (except possibly Robyn) will have a drink. AUB treats the LDS "Word of Wisdom" as less absolute than other branches of Mormonism.

Ariella isn't even nine years old today. See your own post below. She was born in 2016. That was only eight years ago.
