  1. She’s probably a foot and ankle surgeon. The specialty is in high demand and one of the higher paying jobs. My DPM is a foot and ankle surgeon, he mostly sees surgery or structural cases but also sees me for general foot care. Every DPM I have seen or has done surgery on my feet have been wonderfully kind and attractive. My hospital roommate and I were trying to figure out where they grow them.
  2. The male Dr went to DPM school with my surgeon. I think I like it because I have a degenerative bone disease in both feet that causes my bones to turn mush and dislocate. Both feet have been reconstructed, many with the disease face amputation. So when they say “big toe” tonight I kind of wonder what the big deal is. Just my perspective.
  3. Never thought people would be talking about Whit Squall, I knew the gentleman (Chuck Gieg) played by Scott Wolf. I lived in Natucket in the late 80s early 90s and he was an IT type guy. I remember him talking about the filming.
  4. This can be regular protocol in the US when entering a military base. Sometimes it's random, sometimes they "know" something, sometimes there was an incident elsewhere and sometimes just because. I work at a Nuclear Submarine Base and have been subjected to it more times than I can count.
  5. I believe Mr Walsh is only 5-6 years older than Andrea Z.
  6. I gave a ride to a wonderful through hiker today. I find the AT through hikers quite fascinating. Don't think I will ever be giving Mila a ride.
  7. In regards to Russ and a job, why not work remote? I lived in oil field land and plenty of folks worked 2 on and 2 off or 3 and 2. He could get a job in the Gulf or Alaska. She could live in Miami and have fun while he's gone. You have to have a certain personality and relationship to survive that type of job and now that they have a baby it wouldn't be easy but it would be an option to get back in the industry and stay in Miami.
  8. Yes I noticed that same "look" on some of the young women that were escaping. They all have that same look Robin has. They did an AUB, an FLDS and a Kingston Clan escape on the show (Escaping Polygamy) today.
  9. So I am home from work sick and watching Escaping Polygamy. I have watched maybe 5 or 6 episodes and the dark haired woman that helps with the escapes just has to be somehow related to Robyn, there is quite a resemblance. The woman on the show is prettier IMO. They just rescues a young girl from FLDS but the episode before the grabbed an entire AUB family, father, two moms and 8 kids. The father has been part of the AUB militia/security, it was a bit sketchy for a bit but they got out. I think they planned to remain as a family group but he made the decision so that his children would not be forced into the lifestyle. I have to say one positive thing about the Browns is that they don't seem to be part of a cult like lifestyle and their kids seem free to do as they choose.
  10. I was diagnosed at about 22 with PCOS, metabolic syndrome and Type 2 diabetes. I didn't get my first menstrual cycle until 16 and it was never regular until 30 or so, I have off an on cysts. I am on metformin and have my diabetes under control (A1C 5.9). I struggle with weight loss, from 16-21 years old or so I gained about 40lbs. From 162 to 204, I am 5' 8" and probably considered big boned. All the weight is in my stomach. I recently lost 15lbs but that is a pretty strict no sugar, no fake sugar (causes same insulin response as the real thing), no rice or pasta and lots of chicken and veggies. I have really not been over 204 since I was 22 and I am 52. I am pretty active, I garden, do yoga, hike 5 miles or so a day and bike ride fo fun. Nothing serious but I try. I have worked to stay where I am at, I can't say why some gain or some don't. I do carefully watch calories and I am generally under 1600, I am a chef so it makes cooking and counting a bit easier. I need to again eliminate fake sugar and I need to do it for good. Just my story... One anecdote I do have is when I was struggling with low blood sugar the nurse at my endocrinologist asked for my meal sheet (what I eat each week) she commented that I eat an awful lot of salad and said she hated salad, How do you end up hating salad? I try to make lunch or dinner salad so I get my veggies in, I'm not fond of the cooked kind.
  11. I actually do know how to use the quote function and have no idea why it says you are the author...sorry about that @athousandclowns...need to give credit where it is due.
  12. I am sure his wedding ring no longer fits on his chubby finger. The hair really feminized him.
  13. I have a female friend who is a medically retired police officer at 41 yo. A 400lb plus woman fell on her while being loaded into an ambulance and just like that her career was over. Sucks, she still suffers chronic back pain, her pelvis was crushed.
  14. This is so pathetic for someone who claims to be an author. She really needs a proof reader for her Instagram posts.
  15. Has Jazz changed her gender legally? The reason I ask is that she was mentioning all the things she gets/has to do at 18, I was wondering if she has to register with Selective Service?
