ams1001 February 12 Share February 12 (edited) February 11: 67% / 53% / 60% In J I ran Utensils and Hodgepodge, missed two in Story, Competition Shows, and "NDA", and four in 20th Century Notables. In DJ I missed one in Under the Microscope and Meyer Schusser, Irascible Refugee Composer (Ken was having an awful lot of fun with that one 😄), two in Actors & Actresses and American Government, and four in Bridges and Fighting Words. I actually got FJ pretty easily, despite never having read any of her books. I know they're set in Scotland and hadn't even thought about the time travel aspect before her name came to me. TSes: (J had 2; DJ had 3 + 1 DD) I got carnivore (couldn't believe that was a TS, or an $800 clue). C'mon, Adriana and Isaac! I need one of you to get it tomorrow! 25 minutes ago, Grizzly said: As much as I don't care for Neilish, he has been well suited for the finals. I just wish he'd stand still. There’s a glossary thread in this forum - I just bumped it so it should be near the top TS = triple stumper - nobody got the correct response. And speaking of glossary terms, when I saw one of tonight’s categories, I was really hoping the Jeopardy Curse wouldn’t come into play. If I say any more I think I have to take it to a different thread. Edited February 12 by SoMuchTV The forum merged my posts but duplicated a lot of it. Bastet February 12 Share February 12 I was at the emergency vet with my cat (she's home and should be fine), so just checked the archive. Goddamn, I wish Adriana had won, but I have to give props to Neilesh on that final DD wager. The carnivore TS was a doozy. I ran competition shows (cheers to cultural osmosis, as I've never seen any of them) and utensils and came within one of running all the rest in the first round -- I got all but Yangon in notables, all but Lincoln in the Bardo in stories (I knew it was about Lincoln, but had no idea of the title), all but campanology in hodgepodge (I knew it started with camp, but couldn't remember what was in the middle in time), and all but mandala in NDA. I ran government, but that was it for DJ. I missed three in composer and two each in the rest. I also instagot Golden Gate Park for "this large San Francisco park," but I lived in SF for a few months in the 70s, whereas Neilesh is from PA, and Adriana is from Indiana. Isaac's from Southern California, almost 400 miles away, although I'd expect him to be familiar with Golden Gate Park. IDK. Is Isaac a recent transplant to California? I also instagot Neilesh's missed DD of gold leaf, but I only knew it as a term for an artistic technique, not uniquely specific to ancient Egypt, which may be what threw him off? We need a nationwide reprinting of that book, distributed to every doorstep like the phone book used to be. Yeah, I was bummed. I really like her. I just saw something about Our Bodies Ourselves the other day, so I didn't have to struggle through the acronym. If I hadn't it might have taken me a little longer. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/149217-jeopardy-season-41-2024-2025/page/34/#findComment-8580781

chessiegal February 14 Share February 14 Today's game, February 14, is a TOC Exhibition game between Adrianna, Isaac, and Drew Basile. Should be fun! 3 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/149217-jeopardy-season-41-2024-2025/page/34/#findComment-8580895
