How weird is "Trust me, you wouldn't want Pressure Cooker again." "Yes, we would." "Okay, so would I, but I was overruled." Then why the fuck did tweet the first bit?!?

Ok, so I would love to see the Pressure Cooker again but...in the defense of Heath, I have said time and time again for years that the Pressure Cooker would NEVER live up to the first one because you need dedicated houseguests that wouldn't just throw the comp to someone after three hours. And there has been too many instances of houseguests doing that. It would be disappointing to people since the comp would never ever last as long as the first one did, so people would need to get that notion of an all night comp out of their heads.

But there could be a time with the right cast where the comp wouldn't be over in 2 hours. I remember season 18, when that one HOH comp DID last...what, six hours? But you really need to have the right cast and it's hard to deduce that pre-season.

Oh, I think it's a totally defensible position...until he then said he tried to get them to use it and they told him no! Pick a lane, buddy!

So it turns out that Baby Robyn Kass maybe isn't an actual thing after all? I'm disappointed, thankful, and a little weirded out that someone would lie about their child's name just to get on a B tier competition reality show. I mean, at least Survivor has a million dollar prize and baby Jeff Probst is a little more forgivable. I guess. I suppose "Kass" could be a nickname but yeah. This whole Baby Robyn Kass situation tickles me - it feels like a new level of batshit from Big Brother.

Behind a spoiler because it's a bit long. But here's a Twitter link if you want to read through it yourself.

Spoiler

So many mysteries in this world could be solved if they enlisted the help of Big Brother fans. And Swifties but I think they scare me more.

I honestly don't know which I find sadder, actually naming your child after Robyn Kass or lying about it.

Tiffany and Hannah are listing the reasons they love Derex (or as they say, Baby D). He’s witty, he handles himself well, and he has swagger— even when he thinks no one is looking.

Given a choice between Alyssa and Ky, Tiffany will save Ky. Both agree that losing Travis will be no big deal. “He’ll be fine.”

I wouldn't be sad to lose Travis.  By all accounts, he's been non-existent on the feeds.  Get rid of a DudeBro week 1 and Frenchie week 2, pretty please.

  • Love 8

Ah, shit. Frenchie's pulling people into rooms and having long ass conversations again. Now Travis might be safe and Kyland might be the target? We all know it'll change in 20 so whatevs. I'm waiting until Frenchie works himself into such a pretzel, he's trying to name himself The Big Kahuna and put himself on the block in a show of manly strength or some bullshit like that.

The 7th circle of BB hell: Kyland and Frenchie having a discussion.

Frenchie: "So I hear you but I just want to run this hypothetical situation past you - it has nothing to do with anything but I just want you to hear this and it totally didn't sway me except it swayed me a bit but also it's hypothetical and if I were you, I'd bring snacks 'cause we'll be here awhile."
Kyland: "Oh, okay because - and here I'm - like, I mean, I just want - and okay, so it's like - and I was just like, you know?"
Frenchie: "Here's another hypothetical situation that has nothing to do with anything but just hear me out for forty minutes. So pretend that this isn't Big Brother and there's no alliances and we're not here. Now, you get nominated and I..."

Has anyone refused? Or are they afraid to?

Nah, I came into it late and I've only seen Hannah and now Kyland talking to him about how the Veto is going to be used but Frenchie wanted a hypothetical what-if so you know.

Frenchie assures Alyssa that the house is overwhelmingly on her side.

After, Brent complains to Alyssa about how Frenchie can’t stick to a plan. He lists the revolving targets of the first few days, including himself. He makes it sound like Frenchie talked to Travis, against all advice, and Travis may have talked Frenchie out of targeting him, as well.

Meanwhile, Derex asks Travis: If noms stay the same, will you keep Ky or Alyssa? Travis says Ky. More people are summoned before the Don. Xavier will keep Alyssa. Hannah will keep Ky.

Kyland comes in and Frenchie assures him the house is overwhelmingly on his side.

I'm finally watching these Frenchie monologues, and I have no idea how anyone listens to this for hours, lol. I'm already heading back to Tiffany Haddish learning about shark sex on Shark Week.

I loved this. What if every permutation of every possible scenario were true but also not true because who knows what may happen if up were down and in was out and… Ky’s brain was almost visibly spinning in circles, trying to keep pace with the crazy.

Has Frenchie talked about anything else besides replacement noms today? ANYTHING?

At this point, I'm curious what Frenchie plans to discuss after the veto meeting tomorrow.  Will it sink in that he has no power going forward and the houseguests can vote to save whichever person on the block they want?

He'll probably still be talking about these replacement noms week 8.

Frenchie told Claire and Sarah Beth that he will never yell at a woman. He will just say "okay" and he's sorry if that makes you madder but he will never ever yell at a woman. That's it - absolutely never will yell at a woman, no sir.

I don't particularly care one way or another, I just want to have it saved somewhere on this forum so that we can refer back to it in two days when Frenchie is screaming in a woman's face about something really stupid.

So with Xavier going around the house with the GoPro, he jokingly asked Sarah Beth to show off her voice acting skills. She kinda stuttered and then recovered by imitating a GPS voice saying "re-calculating". And now Frenchie has said this exact quote about nine times in the past ten minutes.

Frenchie: "Imagine if I was sitting in the DR after the way my HoH went this week and I'm all *pretends to poke at something in his hand angrily* 'What in the world is wrong with my HoH GPS?' And then she [Sarah Beth] would pop up behind me and say 'Re-calculating'. That would literally literally literally blow the Internet up. It would literally blow the Internet up. It would be an iconic Big Brother moment."

So Deref is telling Azah how he learned to read situations when he was a kid, selling drugs in the hood and sometimes 5-0 would roll up and…

Selling drugs in the hood? Joe Frazier’s son? What hood is this, Brentwood?

Deref and Whitney are planning to sneak into and sleep in Frenchie’s room tonight because Frenchie has taken to sleeping downstairs with the commoners. He says he gets lonely upstairs all alone.

Frenchie did not just wake up Azah to talk about hypotheticals if alliances didn't exist except they do but if they didn't and he won Veto but he didn't so...

I'm telling you, soon as this team bullshit it over? Azah is gunning for him.

I suspect Azah would be perfectly fine if one of her other alliances (The Cookout or the No-Name Girls Alliance) gunned for Frenchie as soon as next week.

I hope you're all on the west coast because the way this season is going, none of you are going to get any sleep!

Central time zone here. But I’m a natural night owl, so tend to be up very late anyway, BB or no BB. What I don’t understand is how the HGs stay up all night, considering they have to be up and ready at 10am regardless. Yesterday, I went to sleep at 5am and some of them were still going. I expect that will change as the season goes on… or when they learn that sleeping is the only way to avoid Frenchie’s monologues.

Why did she choose voice actress and not something no one cares about like hotel front desk agent or Walgreens cashier? I never understand when they do this.  Nobody's going to ask you anything you can't lie your way through.

And a huge thumbs up for the **George of the Jungle** GIF - one of my favorite movies! :)

Derex jokes to Kyland that he should start his speech by declaring he wants to honor Frenchie’s original nomination… speech where he said he didn’t want Ky to go home.  With a big pause like that, just to scare everyone. But he’s afraid he might say it wrong and screw up actually removing Ky.

Later, Derex wonders what Frenchie was talking about with Travis for 2 hours. He was expecting Frenchie to say “You’re going on the block, so be prepared”… and that’s pretty much it.  But now he’s getting nervous about what else may be going on, because that message does not take 2 hours to deliver.

Oh, Derex… You really don’t know Frenchie at all, do you?

Frenchie is letting Derex in on a big secret. And he better not tell anyone, or Frenchie will know! He says Ky tried to make a final two deal with him (Frenchie), so he’s not as loyal to Derex as he may think. And now Frenchie is torn over who to keep.  Derex is shocked.

Frenchie says he’s only letting Derex know because they are the 2 most important people in the house right now. (Break ‘em down, stroke ‘em, repeat ad nauseam.)

At some point, all these people will compare notes and realize they’re playing with a calculating lunatic, right?

Frenchie is totally going home next...right? I mean, some crazy gameplay can be entertaining but this is already getting shades of ugly through the rest of those clips. He's just nuts. Telling Kyland he's on the block because he trusts him and thought there would a reward in veto? Yikes.

Though trying to imagine a week of Frenchie on the block...
