kassa October 10 Share October 10 I think the reason for the huge price "drop" was that they bought a house for 800k, did zero maintenance for x years, then doubled the price (likely against the advice of the realtor), convinced a buyer blinded by their "star power" would gladly pay an extra 800 grand for a place that actually had depreciated in value since they purchased it. So eventually the realtor laid out all the inspection issues that people might have negotiated if they'd listed at a more reasonable price, and they caved. And then Christine's suit hit and they're probably on hold until there's some kind of hearing. And even at that point they may have to put a % into some kind of escrow and not be able to bury it in guns and QVC tchotchkes. 8 1 Link to comment

smarty October 11 Share October 11 I don't think that price drop was accurate. Realtor.com website noted the price change but Zillow never did, and Realtor has the drop in price listed one day after the house was listed. 1 5 Link to comment

MamaMax October 11 Share October 11 I wonder if Christine waited this long because she was trying to get K to do the right thing for a while, and he wont pay up. I wouldn't be surprised if K and R listed the house bc they are trying to hide assets. I wouldn't be surprised if their "art" collection has no appreciated at all. Elodia October 15 Share October 15 I just read on reddit that one redditor contacted Kuhl about the jacket Kody was wearing during that fake discussion with Robyn. Most of what the WOACB video was about showed general processes for divorce/child custody hearings. The most interesting thing to me is that if the non-custodial parent challenges the original lawsuit and demands that this go to court, ALL finances have to be disclosed. Bad move, Kody. LilyD Friday at 12:57 AM Share Friday at 12:57 AM Had to google what it means to have your car registration suspended☺️ It seems insurance related: mostly because the owner appears to have no insurance or because there are administrative issues. But you guys may already know this, so my apologies if I sound stupid… Anyway, it would sound like a typical stupid Brown thing to do: Driving without an insurance in place. They’re notorious for not being insured after all. Weren’t one or two of the kids in car accidents in Nevada with uninsured vehicles? Where I’m from, driving without an insurance is a criminal offence… 11 Link to comment
General Days Friday at 04:56 PM Share Friday at 04:56 PM If Kody and Robyn owe excise taxes on their car/cars, if they have outstanding traffic tickets or parking tickets, if they failed to renew the registration on their car, if they let their auto insurance lapse (if auto insurance is required in AZ), they could have had their licenses suspended until they fixed [whatever] issue. It all depends on the laws in Flagstaff and in Arizona. In other words, they didn't have to have an accident, or a drunk driving incident to have their licenses suspended. 4 Link to comment

I don't know Arizona laws. In my state, you pay sales tax when you buy the car. Our cities/towns assess us an annual motor vehicle excise tax (and it's called an excise tax). 2 Link to comment
Absolom Saturday at 12:22 AM Share Saturday at 12:22 AM Really? That's quite unusual since it isn't the definition of excise tax. But then we've established our lawmakers are not usually geniuses. At any rate in Arizona it's a vehicle license tax as I said above. In US tax lingo it's a personal property tax (IRS). There appears to only be one state that calls the annual vehicle tax an excise tax and leaves it to local governments to collect it. Most of the rest of us pay it to the state directly. 4 Link to comment

Absolom Saturday at 09:30 PM Share Saturday at 09:30 PM And regardless of what a different state does, Kody lives in Arizona where they call it VLT. The point in question is could he have his license suspended for failure to pay the personal property tax. But who knows with those two in a family who seem to have problems paying their regular bills on time. 4 1 Link to comment

Here's what I found on a quick Google [SOURCE LINK]: Quote Suspension Suspension is the temporary removal of your driving privilege. It's an action taken after a review of your driving record. After your suspension period has ended, your driving privilege will remain suspended until your application for reinstatement is approved. Suspended for Failure to Pay a Ticket or Appear in Court To reinstate your license contact the court listed on the suspension notice and pay all court penalties due. obtain a Court Abstract form or a Court Clearance receipt (with a final disposition code and date, violation code and date, and complaint number). bring the Court Abstract or Court Clearance receipt to any MVD driver license office and pay a $10 suspension fee (no personal checks). Fees also may include an additional application fee. If we do not have a digital photo on file, you must apply in person. Otherwise, you may pay these fees by mail or online. Reinstate your driver license online [NOTE: This is a link I didn't bother to include] Suspended for Any Other Reason To reinstate your license, you must pay a $10 suspension fee and may include an application fee. If we do not have a digital photo on file, you must apply in person. Otherwise, you may pay these fees by mail or online at AZMVDNow.gov. You may be required to pay a $50 fee to reinstate your suspension when it's due to Admin Per Se. You must obtain proof of future financial responsibility if suspended for one of these reasons: Court-conviction suspension for DUI (If suspended by MVD prior to conviction and it is your first suspension, then future financial responsibility may not be needed. Contact MVD.) Implied-consent suspension for refusal or failure to complete a drug or alcohol test Violation of vehicle insurance laws So, they certainly could have gotten their licenses suspended for things like not paying tickets, taxes, or keeping up with insurance.
