I bet cellulitis, and infections, combined with her diabetes are what will do her in someday.     She already was in a hospital for a year, lost 100 lbs., down to 450 or so, and gained it all back.   I'm guessing this will be six months of total failure told in two hours.

That's why they push you to walk as soon as they possibly can without re-injury.  Because the longer you wait (aka if you pity yourself) the more likely you are to end up like this.  Physical therapy after a major injury or surgery feels like hell, but working through it is the only way.   Unfortunately, a typical poundticipant has all the resilience of wet toilet paper.

My dad got a new hip almost a year ago (!) and they had him up the next morning. Would probably have been the same day but his surgery was supposed to be in the morning and got pushed to later in the day.

She eats twice a day. From 8 AM until 1 PM, and from 2 PM until 8 PM.

Meal 1 is 8am to 4:30 or so pm, then dinner is 5pm til bedtime.

You start eating in the morning.  Take one break.  Then eat straight through the rest of the day.  It's a two meal a day eating plan.
