Agree to disagree. I'm going with an unpopular opinion but I personally don't think Maddie has "point look material" ~even though she is the point.   I think Maddie is more "cutesie" ~  Gina absolutely has a face for point, now more than ever !!

Exactly, Brennan was strong enough to be one of the best between the blenders. Yes she wasn’t a Holly, a Kashara or a Bridget but the vast majority of this team is a blender. She was mature and one of the very few who can speak without resorting to saying like ehm yes like amazing like opportunity like of a life time like. No chance in hell she just realized at the end of the vets’ TC that she doesn’t have the stamina. And given that last year they took an extra person to rotate AND the fact that they may not even get to perform anytime soon, you don’t cut someone you can rely on for appearances because they need recovery time. I mean, they kept Erica when she couldn’t even dance and her injury meant she wouldn’t have danced for a single game...

Eh, I don’t really agree with this. She was one hell of a marketing person (not dance team director/coach & I stand by this assessment) up until the 00s, maybe early 10s. It’s time she retires though, as she really can’t seem to get with the times... She was outraged with Taylor not knowing about #metoo, but she hasn’t done anything to bring the dcc to this new era and she really doesn’t know how to use social media to their advantage.

Well, I’m not a fan and for me she only got the job because there was literally no other option. But it’s a bit unfair considering that she got all the weakest links in her group.

Kelli q. also had to audition a gazillion times and was SG throughout her tenure. Kelli herself said that she didn’t know how she hadn’t noticed her before. And no offense to her but she had a strangle look, compared to her Hanna was a stereotypical beauty for sure. Also, it’s not that uncommon to audition multiple times, but given that she got SG both years, as well as a Barbie, pretty much proves that she was strong enough. Now if it was weight, why would they wait until the last day to cut her? It’s not like they were expecting her to lose the weight within a week to earn her spot back.

I understand that this is probably not realistic at all, but I'm kind of disappointed that some of the vets who seem to be women of principles and who value justice haven't spoken out-maybe Maddie, Gina, Caroline, Erin, Kristin...I'm kind of disappointed that they are most likely scared to speak up or even (heaven forbid!) walk away from a toxic organization. Don't hate on this post too much-I get that it's not realistic, I just think it's sad and disappointing that these women feel they can't speak up or walk away.

I've watched this show for years and years. I've even bought the dang calendars and paid to download certain episodes from the show to watch while I exercised. It was very inspiring to me to see these young ladies chase after this ideal of being "world class" and being on the best squad in NFL....ok also for Kitty because she's hilarious and gave me life!  But it has gone downhill year after year for the drama.  Kelli is in complete control of how the girls are portryed on the show. The obvious false narratives with some girls and blatant favoritism to others is hard to stomach sometimes.

BTW, this is from updated NFL-NFLPA game day protocols and also applies to sideline reporters. Basically, no one but teams and photographers/cameras on field I read it as.

Hannah wasn't voted by the judges as the top 16 vets who had all yeses. I am looking forward to the show for this cut to make more sense to me.

Honestly, had the DCCs had regular tryouts, I think Meredith and Lily would’ve been cut. The “last ones in” from the prior training camp tend to get cut the next year, and every so often, they throw in an upper vet as well. 

However, the fact that it’s not a typical year makes these cuts seem especially cruel. They probably won’t be doing much of anything, so what is it about these 4 that’s so bad that they can’t remain on the team? I get that it’s supposed to be the top 36, but it’s an unusual year. I just don’t understand why they didn’t just stick with the remaining veterans and call it a day.

Unfortunately, because they had a show to make and probably had a contract with CMT stating how many seasons need to be made.

Bridget had me when scooped that little dog up and put him on the Vespa just the cutest and as you said most approachable DCC ever!

Brennan has long been one of my favorites.  (Okie girls gotta stick together.)  As awful as this last night cut from camp is, I truly hope she sees it as a catalyst for the next chapter of her life.  Her intelligence, grace, poise, and determination will carry her far.

Even though they can't be on the field, I'm sure Kelli Judy and Charlotte will find a way to have the DCC presence as part of the games - maybe they dance on a Deck or in the Plaza and that footage gets spliced into the games. 

And I'll bet Kelli still has hopes for a possible Christmas Show at the Star because - by golly, the global pandemic will be gone by then and we can all huddle together at the Star and buy Cowboys Merchandise with all the money people are getting from their Unemployment checks!

But if there are no cheerleaders on the field, then it means:

• No Field Entrance
• No groups / no need for quarter changes and group leaders
• No Thunderstruck 
• No Triangle 
• No Kickline
• No point!

If you guys are reading this — I hope it helps to know that we’ve loved getting to know you through the show and your time on the field. I’ve been a performer before, and I know how it feels to lose something like this, but I can’t imagine how difficult it is to go through this right now and with no warning.
You’ve been terrific examples of hard work, dedication, skill, and grace. I would be grateful to have just a fraction of your talent and beauty. You are all wonderful women, and I am so sorry you have to face this right now.

This is why I won't watch the show anymore and I was a faithful viewer from the very first show. I stopped when Kelly made all the excuses for V and her heavy, sluggish, thick dancing. I can't even watch an entire video she posts. Hannah's left me wanting more. 

I do understand Meredith and Lily. (I watched snippets on Insta & YouTube) but Brennan & HANNAH? Hannah is a superstar. I always noticed her when she danced. She's a lovely dancer. I doubt it was for weight. One of her more recent Insta posts, she has abs I'd give my left arm for. She has an amazing figure and came across as genuine and hardworking. I think she's strikingly beautiful. She deserves so much better. Hannah if you ever read this, go do you. Forget these hypocritical, mean girl women. There's a whole world out here and it's your oyster. Screw them and their mind games. You Got This. 

As for Kat? IF she is sleeping with a player, WTF Kelly? And that the player has a girlfriend, as per a insider post?  Can we talk about THAT? That's slimey for lack of a better word, and I have a few.  And I like(d) Kat. Her Insta posts seem over the top but she has personality. If she was let go from a previous squad for hooking up with a player, I'm thinking it is. So much for the "girl next door" reputation Kelly keeps blathering on about. Try 'Homewrecker' instead. 

And Lisa? She made it back? She doesn't even look like a DCC. Maybe it's the bad tanning but she always looks like she just came from a tractor pull. Not saying tractor pulls are bad, but she always looks like she's covered in a layer of dust and grime. 

I'm not going to say much about Brennan except I agree with most everyone here. However, it may be for the best if she had the virus. They're finding blood clots in survivors. I have a friend who had two. Thankfully they got caught up in his spleen before something terrible happened. 

The DCC are NOT worth dying for. Brennan your health is more important than the extremely toxic, life consuming, delusional DCC. 

Considering Bridget's post, I'm thinking the insider info here is on point. I get why she left. I know I'd last a hot NY minute if I had to starve, put up with undeniable favoritism and the "Yes Mamm's." Kelly has trashed her's and the DCC reputation. If Hannahs cut was for drama? What kind of person, what woman would do that to a young woman? For a TV show? Who hurt you Kelly? (sarcasm)

I generally stop at 9. I really only watch 1 & 2 (BTW for anyone interested, s1 ep1 is about to start on Pluto in 20 mins or so). It got too fake for me after that.

If they remain in Dallas, their reputation, their references, etc.  I am sure no one walks away from the DCC willingly without experiencing issues unless you get far away - Milan, Mandi, Holly, etc.
