Some of the retirements had caught me by surprise but with news of the show, I wonder if that ties in at all. Go out on a high, hated it, be free to capitalize on any opportunities that arise, etc. Or maybe not, lol.

McKenzie getting VOTY tonight in addition to ROTY prior. What a great 4 year career, she was obviously a well loved team member. Great way to go out! She seems one of those who has post DCC life in her sights.

It would have been shocking if Claire WASN’T named point. I would’ve put her up there last season.

Jalyn’s longtime hottie boyfriend is/was Corey Saucier. All indications on social I see seem to indicate that they’ve likely broken up. Not sure what that means for her work with Saucier & Co. I agree she’s all in at TYC but with retirement (even with being an all-star and having a new pup) and being such a hard worker, she would have more time to do both if she was still doing the wedding thing. Amber also starting a wedding related hustle is interesting. Jalyn’s one of my all-time faves, so as long as she’s happy then all good!

Jalyn posted about “our” last regular season game in pic with Kat. Could mean last for the two of them together given Jalyn retirement but I think it’s likely that Kat is retiring as well.

Kelcey has been named to ProBowl. Was hoping it would be my girl, Jalyn, but Kelcey is adorable, obviously a great teammate, and the TPTB love her. With being partial point and PB at the 4 year mark, wonder if she’ll retire. I’m Team Claire for point next year.

Well, the team has been locked in as the DCC Instagram account shows the locker room reveal. At least two comeback girls made it which makes me happy. Not sure of all the names but that info can’t be far behind this very vague note by me 🤣

In addition to all you said…I can’t imagine how many steps she gets daily being a DCC, at her dance studio, and doing events. My girl has a lot going on!

Congratulations to Brennan on her engagement! That’s a fun group, so I look forward to seeing Bri, Alanna, Chandi, and the rest of her crew celebrate with her. So many engagements!!!

Two sides of a coin 😀 I think Kat’s first pic against that blue wall (the serious one) is a stunner. Her skin tone and body look amazing to me against that backdrop.

If there is no existing outlet for current show model, DCC would be wise to get their ish together when it comes to website/social media and do more engagement- not necessarily a regular show but annual auditions special, vignettes throughout the season, etc.

Erica posted Jenna’s surprise engagement on IG, with Keyra and Cersten there too. He caught her mid performance at the game. I would hate a public scenario like that but Jenna seemed happy and said yes so that’s all that matters. Congrats to she and her fiancé.

I think an Ashlee/Claire point would be awesome. That’d be my pick. Truly not personal as she seems loved by the girls and is talented but a Caroline point does nothing for me. If she’s GL 1 let’s spread the love at point!

May be poppycock but for those on the fence, the combo of Gina/Rachel retiring could have made these girls opt to stay: - Caroline for potential of shared point/GL 1. She is most obvious to me. - Ashlee for point (she probably already had GL on lock). She & Caroline both have great shot at Pro Bowl now too. - Jalyn for GL (if G/R had stayed I think Ashlee would’ve likely moved up before her)/potential movement in triangle - Chandi/Kelcey likely already had great 2nd GL shots but this makes odds both get it more likely and definitely favors them in triangle placement. Someone is going to go from no leadership to GL and I think it could be one of them. - And if Claire had thoughts of hanging it up she’s got a good shot to go to clear head of her class, 2nd GL, and make diamond.
