I'm assuming she had to have falsified the birth certificate, otherwise, Gio would have eventually found out his real birth date. He wouldn't be able to get a license that had the fake date on it if his birth certificate didn't have that date.

If BLQ gave birth in a hospital, they would have issued a birth certificate at that point for the correct information.  So, a birth certificate for a baby boy with the correct information probably exists out there.  To get Gio's with the fake info, did they pretend he was an unattended home birth?  Even then, a quick google search tells me that to get the birth certificate issued, they'd still need to provide some evidence - proof of medical care during the pregnancy, witnesses to the birth, etc.  Absent that, if they tried to claim that Gio's mom didn't get medical care at all throughout the pregnancy, there would probably still be some proof required. Physical examination of the mother and baby, for example, which would not work, since doctors would be able to tell that she hadn't recently given birth and that Gio was older than they were claiming.

I've probably given this way more thought than the writers have.

Well, you know, this happened back in the day when they didn't keep records.  What's that, you say?  It was 2003?  Well, then...

I'm assuming that Maxie has been paying Lulu/ Dante rent for living in their home (the place Lulu lived pre-coma while Dante was in Turkey.

Four years of rent would probably be a fair chunk of change.

I don't recall Sonny buying Lante the house, only "discouraging" the other potential buyers.  So mortgage payments would come from the rent money.

I wasn’t around for the original adult Lulu, but didn’t care for Emme’s Lulu.  Alexa seemed like she tried in the beginning, but with this storyline she has morphed back into Babe, who was smug and unlikable no matter how much they tried to make her a heroine.

Yes, I saw a lot of JBL in her first couple of weeks.

I haven't seen her in anything else, so that's interesting about Babe (I know of the role).  Not surprising for me, I suspected it's the actress I'm reacting to.  Smug and unlikeable and also zero nuance.

Brook Lynn is a world class liar. It's not all "my history." After a ONS with Valentin, she manipulated him with a fake pregnancy and let Lulu's daughter believe she was a big sister. That storyline (while Lulu was comatose) has been white-washed because she and Maxie formed a plan to protect newborn Bailey Lou from Peter/Heinrich, but the fact is Brook Lynn is not the super strong, wonderful, selfless woman that Chase and Lois are determined to see her as.

That's all true.  I never liked BLQ.  The issue for me is, in this storyline she is very sympathetic, and Amanda is very talented.  She brings it with the right writing.  Lulu is...not.  What BLQ did is in the past, so going by what I'm seeing now, I can't help find her more rootable than Lulu.  That could change!

Dante has every right to be angry that she decided not to tell him she gave birth to his son because she was disappointed/ego hurt that he chose to be faithful to then-girlfriend Lulu rather than wanting her when she tried to seduce and then rape him for a payout from Carly.

Lulu and Dante weren't together until much later. Brooklyn's decision not to tell Dante about being pregnant had nothing to do with being angry that he chose Lulu over her. This happened when Brooklyn, Dante and Cody were teenagers. Dante and Lulu didn't meet until many years later, like 8-10 years later, and in those years, Brooklyn hadn't told a soul, except her mother and Cody (right? They're saying now that he knew?) and if Cody knew, he's just as guilty for never telling his best friend, Dante.

The BrookLynn/Lulu rivalry went down much later, and Lulu doesn't seem to have a problem with her cousin coming up with the pay out scheme and hiring BrookLynn to do the seducing. So, you could counter that Lulu's anger and hate is ALSO out of petty jealousy, because it's directed all at BrookLynn, and nothing to her co-conspirator and holder of the payout purse strings, Carly.

He knew she was pregnant, as there were scenes months ago of them talking about it in the stables. As of yesterday, we learned he just assumed she got an abortion; not that she kept the pregnancy and gave birth.

That ASSHAT of course, conveniently neglected to mention how he was a con man, and the reason he didn't want Mac to know he was his spawn was because he wanted the MOOLAH from the Ice Princess.

Tracy to Drew: "Get back on your damn barge."  Have the writers been reading this board?

Drew is obsessed with Sony. That's not a smart person.

Carly is convinced that she will get complete custody of Wylie and Amelia. That's not smart either.

I don't understand why Michael is so feeble that he can't be told about the court case. He can ask for it to be delayed because of his treatment.

Lulu still thinks that Brook Lynn knows that Gio is her son because they got coffee together. Is today the day of "not smart" people? And I'm not even getting into Portia.

Makes sense. My perspective is that BLQ as played by Amanda returned to Port Charles with the fake pregnancy in the recent past; Bailey Lu is now 2 years old.

Lulu has definitely not been rootable for the last two episodes of the week. I didn't like her response to Gio today when he was apologetic.

I liked all of Tracy's lines to Drew and the snark as she walked away. I also liked all of Ava's lines to Portia about Drew and Willow.

Carly and Willow really each live in their own delusional worlds.

You're correct that Lulu and Dante weren't together until much later. However, Chase and Brook Lynn had a conversation in March (this year, 2025) where she told him everything about her past with Dante. The "seduction" storyline came up. She told Chase that yes, she was thinking about telling Dante about the baby IF he showed her that he still had lingering feelings for her. When that didn't happen because he was truly in love with Lulu, she decided to keep her mouth shut.

Regarding Cody, he knew Brook Lynn was pregnant because she told him when he drove her to the bus stop. This week, he told Lulu that he assumed she terminated the pregnancy after she left camp.

JMB's Lulu and Carly had a conversation where Carly acknowledged what she did and flat out said Lulu chose loyalty to her boyfriend Dante over loyalty to family, her/Michael. Lulu said something like, in the twisted way Carly thinks I get it. Carly may have sort of apologized; I can't recall the specifics.

Brook Lynn apologized to Dante at some point, but never to Lulu for when Lulu walked in on Brook Lynn trying to rape a drugged Dante. (Drugging and attempted rape of Dante was Brook Lynn's idea, because she was determined to get money from Carly.) In AS and AH's first scene together, Lulu brought up Brook Lynn trying to break up her and Dante and Brook Lynn's response was to snap that it's long ago history and she's moved on with her life.

Wow, look who rubbed a few brain cells together and figured out Portia was being blackmailed. I didn't think Curtis had it in him.

Can he pass those braincells over to Lulu and Cody? Lulu, why are you making this so difficult? You don’t need to prove where a dead woman was 22 years ago. Just get a DNA test. You have an Olympic sized gene pool to swipe a sample from. Have Cody approach Gio, claim he sees a gray hair, and pluck it from him. Done. Moving on.

"Gio's so-called mother" - wow, Lulu, are your arms tired from that massive hole you've dug for yourself?  Maybe put your back into it and you can go even lower.

At least she'll have company down there with Carly and her assertion that Wiley and Amelia somehow are more Michael's kids than Willow's.

Someone needs to remind her that Charlotte is a test tube baby, whose genetic material was harvested by raping both mother and father. And Lulu didn't raise Charlotte for the first five years or so of her life. Does that make Lulu a "so-called mother"? Shoot yourself into the sun, Girl Reporter.

what did FooLu mean by "So-Called" Mother?

That Camilla collaborated/conspired with Lois and possibly Brook Lynn in an adoption that was not legal, raising Gio as her child while lying to family and everyone else about his origin. The "so-called" description was harsh because it made Camilla sound like she kidnapped newborn Gio and did her best to keep her crime a secret until death.

The scenes with Willow drove the point home for me today---Isaiah has chemistry with everyone, but still none but wet-rag Jordan to call his own.  He's too good a character and actor to be relegated to that. He interacts with a lot of people (except his good friend Lucky), but has no real relationships. Do we need a new character, or is there someone on the campus currently that can drive a storyline with him?

Feeling like we could use an infusion of IQ points into the PC water supply.

Drew wants the Q name and access to the grounds and the house. Like, why? He's shown nothing but contempt for the Qs.

Portia is such an idiot. Telling Curtis that Drew is blackmailing you and why takes Drew's power away.

Willow. The less said, the better. Why is Isaiah being subjected to her and the problems she created for herself? And Willow, Drew isn't a good father. He abandoned his daughter to go to jail for Carly. He also wanted to sell Aurora to pay off Carly's debt. Miss me with the father of the year.

Then there's Lulu. What more can be said about Lulu that I hasn't already been said.

Re: Lulu.  Yes, she's too impulsive to do any of this the right way, which is how she came across the information in the first place.  But, since she did find it,  I am 100% in agreement with her that she has to tell Dante what she knows.  Not what she suspects, but what she knows.  We're to believe that they still love each other and are in love with one another.  That kind of relationship demands honesty.  It's a bit of an inverse to Brook Lynn and Chase's situation, where honesty is making them stronger.  For them to require Lulu to be dishonest in her own relationship is wrong.

So is Sonny now Michael's "So Called Father'?

On Lulu, just get Cody to steal Gio's toothbrush and compare it to Rocco's.

Don't forget that after her mother died, Drew too Scout away from her brothers and installed her in a hotel room never to be seen again.

Isaiah being so sympathetic to Willow makes me think that he's not a smart as I though he was.

Sure.  But you wouldn't have felt even a little responsible if you dragged your friend/sibling there when they didn't want to go, and once there, went off to do your own thing while the friend/sibling was left to their own devices to do stupid stuff like getting egged into drinking by older kids?

Surely everyone is aware of that.  She was there for his swearing in ceremony and stood by her man after a scandal.

No, it was the next morning.  Someone mentioned the drinking was "last night".  Eh, if you're going to drink like a fish, and get your stomach pumped, you can clean the toilets 8 hours later!!

Yep.  Rocco was at death’s door, but just fine by the next afternoon.  When I had alcohol poisoning at 18 (a very mild case, pretty much just a severe two day hangover) I struggled to make it to my movie theater job the following evening at 6 PM.  I still felt like a walking corpse, but was never in any danger.  And it wasn’t easy drinking enough to do that to myself.  I’m not sure I could have slugged down enough to actually risk death.  Which is probably why this ALMOST NEVER HAPPENS.

Carly is going to handle SLS’s divorce proceedings without even telling him?  So basically as far as Cujo is concerned, her children have absolutely no agency and shouldn’t have any control over their own lives?  If my mother did this, she would be dead to me.  Forever.

Amd how is Diane going along with this?  She could be disbarred.

I think that was the implication when NuLulu and Carly were arguing about the history of Michael's paternity and the Brook Lynn pregnancy secret. Lulu yelled at Carly that "AJ had a right to know!" and Carly got angrier.

The only time I ever remember Lulu being involved in a talk about Sonny becoming Michael's father (illegally) was when Carly reamed JMB's Lulu for her love of Dante when Michael went to prison due to Carly, Jason and Sonny's cover up of how Claudia died. Tracy stepped in and told Carly she was responsible for the mess because she stole Michael from the Quartermaines and gave him to Sonny to adopt. Lulu said Tracy, you don't need to fight my battles - but she didn't disagree that Michael was taken away from AJ and family and handed over to Sonny.

I assumed Isaiah being sympathetic to Willow was to make him a potential love interest for her whenever the Willow/Drew relationship inevitably blows up.

My big problem is the lying to Elizabeth about something that nearly killed her. My dude. Tell her the truth. It's just so fucking lazy. They are barely back together and, look, here's a Big Lie that's going to tear them apart!

It feels like Tracy is the only one who actually cares about the Quartermaine name any more, and occasionally Ned then the writers let him. AJ is dead, Emily is dead, Edward and Lila are dead and Dillon and Jason have different last names. Olivia, Lois and Carly couldn't be more insulting about the Quartermaines. This whole fight about the name with dead beat congressman Drew feels like it was only created to have them on the outs.

But all I’ve ever found was the video clip. And even that clip proves how Cujo throws back HER actions and behaviors onto other people with no self-awareness whatsoever.

Man, Show is really doing its best to have Dante and Gio hate each other so much, that when it comes out Gio is his son, there won’t be any happiness in the reveal, but anger and bitterness. That said, I am on Gio’s side when everyone is trying to explain away Dante’s assholery, which OF COURSE reared back.
