Never mind that Kristina keeps failing upward and that Ava did not push her out the window. But if the writers tell us enough times that that's what happened, maybe we'll start believing it.

Seriously. I'm trying to figure out if the flashback to that triple twist dive (will never NOT be UCG, her falling out that window) we keep seeing as Kristina "remembers" is Show telling us what actually happened or if Kristina is remembering Ava didn't push her, but she tripped, but is blindly maintaining that Ava did push her out the window? Otherwise, why not show a delusional flashback of Ava actually pushing Kristina?

And Kristina herself has admitted she can't remember, and even when she testified she was confused. So there you go.

But I don't expect Show to have this spoiled and entitled BRAT realize she was wrong. In that she is totally her father's spawn.

BH looked so pretty today in that pea coat and scarf with her hair pulled back.  I know they are, but she and JJ don't look old enough to have kids in their twenties (IRL).

I wish they’d cast an actual teen to play Aiden instead of a 20-something. These two have drank from the fountain of youth and look like they should have perpetually elementary school aged children.

who always referred to her youngest sibling as "my baby sister M----."  She said it with affection.

It's one thing to refer to someone as a baby sibling, it's another to call them "baby [sibling]." They have  Martin overuse "baby sister" much the same way they have Curtis and TJ call each other "nephew" and "uncle." When the men are talking to each other, it's much more straightforward. It's only the women who use infantilizing terms with one another. (I did't mind Alexis saying she was Molly's mommy yesterday because that was clearly meant in a jokey context.)

Dax and Joss are boring. I actually kind of vibe Trina and Gio more than the football player but I’m not against them I am just never, ever going to care about this art project or collegiate sports.

Me neither, and I don't think it's a matter of my being past an age where I can care about characters who are concerned with those things. Just these characters. The college-aged set is a major weakness right now. Both Josslyn and Trina are victims of classic "informed attribute" writing. Other characters are constantly remarking on how remarkable, special and promising they are. Then we see scenes with them and they're never all that interesting, because no one at GH right now has the touch for writing characters in that age group.

As for the guys (Dex, Gio, Kai), they're just what one would expect for male characters created to orbit around female characters the show cannot or will not make compelling.

But I did love Liz and Lucky on the Monday show. I envy Becky and Jonathan for being able to so seamlessly fade in and out of flashbacks of their faces close up from 25 years ago!

It's kind of amazing how much BH and JJ still have that level of chemistry after all this time and how long JJ has been off the show. They just sparkle together. Always have. And everything about their scenes yesterday was just adorable and sweet.

I'm surprised they showed us this soon that it was Cyrus who killed Sam. I figured they'd drag it out much longer than that. Of course, they'll likely drag out everyone else finding out for all of eternity to make up for letting us in on it so soon.

As someone who started watching AMC as a kid back in the late 70's, I will always just be happy to see MEK on my screen.

Can we please see the Lulu reunions with Tracy and Maxie now, show?

Willow walking around pissed at Sasha because she told her she had no one to blame but herself for kissing Drew. Girl, you need to get off your high horse.

Drew lying to Curtis's face. I don't even understand why he won't tell Curtis the truth about his decision. And Michael wanting to burn Aurora to the ground. Dude, you're an asshole. This is your cousin's birthright and there are people who work there who would end up without jobs. Think of them? No? Shocking!

I'm assuming that Cyrus is the one who stabbed Dex because he can place him on the 10th floor on Halloween night.

I hate the trope where someone has been gone for a while, barge into someone's place of work, or home, to make demands, and refuse to listen to what the person has to say.

Brennan, you should go and save what's left of your dignity. You look and sound like an ass.

The characters remarking about them are their own parents, and Jason re: Joss and Ava re: Trina. The weakness of the writing/storyline for that age group has been rather glaring since talented actors WL and NAC left the Show. Joss was never held accountable for cheating on Cam, and since then she's just had a flirt, complain about Sonny and have sex relationship with Dex. No substance. Ace was born as Trina and Spencer were becoming a couple, so a good 90% plus of their relationship he spent focused on/obsessing over baby brother and not trusting Esme.

It seems like Gio was brought on to create filler scenes with whomever is at home in the Q mansion while he's there, and to test him as a romantic partner for Trina and/or Joss. Fail.  Kai is supposed to be Trina's next romance as far as I know but I don't care about them or this storyline.

I assume if Dex dies, Gio will be the comforting friend-turned-boyfriend in Joss's life similar to the way things played out when Cam and Joss got together after she mourned her deceased first love.

That bug Carly put in Brennan's office was gigantic! I'm surprised it took him that long to find it.

Drew is such a coward. He won't tell Curtis he's out as CEO of Aurora until the very last minute. I don't like Curtis and Michael, but it's enjoyable to see them try to take down Drew. Though I don't think Curtis's plan will work.

That "fight" looked like something out of a high school production of "West Side Story."

And even if they do listen, they don't believe anything they're told. It's so tedious.

Dr. Gannon, the transplant surgeon, is going to close up Dex's knife wound? Okay, GH (the hospital), way to use your specialists to their best abilities.

Felicia should have become a detective, it would have been more exciting than her patient advocate stuff blathering.

I wonder how Cyrus was able to push that knife through the solid block of wood that is Dex.

I'm surprised Sasha is just gonna lie about her baby's paternity, given she knows first hand how much turmoil and upset all her mother's lies about her and Ethan's paternity caused. I swear these people never learn anything!

Yes, newly made up Lulu (where did she get that coat, it’s not her mom’s style) barging in and ordering Nina around looking like she was channeling Carly/Joss, really grated. I really like the new Lulu and hope she won’t fall into a spoiled brat mold.

As for Trina, oof that storyline is so juvenile and uninteresting. Blah.

I know we're thinking it was Cyrus who stabbed Dex, but that was a pretty ineffective stab wound.  If he wanted to kill Dex, he had time to make another thrust or two.  If it was only to send a message, wouldn't it have helped for Dex to know who did it, and why? I'm not so sure it was Cyrus.

But now I'm worried about Felicia.

And I'm as impatient as Maxie is for her to see Lulu.

Thinking people will assume Sasha's baby is Cody's, and wondering whether he might step up to claim it if Michael makes some sort of threat against Sasha.  On the plus side, it might be a way for Sasha and Cody to stay together and still have a family.

Poor Trina.  She went from the storyline of "my boyfriend died while raising his ex-girlfriend's baby, the grandchild of two serial killers, which baby she had with my boyfriend's father" to a storyline about a class project. And wet noodle Kai.

Trina, for such a bright young woman you can be awfully stupid at times. So you ran Kai’s presentation through plagiarism sites and came up empty. Great. That just means he didn’t copy/paste from another site. It doesn’t prove he actually wrote it. If, as Joss says, he’s busy with football all day and all night, chances are excellent his tutor wrote it or hired someone else to do the work. And yes, you absolutely should present it yourself and take the A. He’s getting one automatically even if he doesn’t do the work.

Lulu is her father's daughter but she really should be apologizing to Nina instead of being praised by Carly.

This is the first time I've seen a spark in a Brennan/Carly scene, probably because he's finally calling her out rather than admiring and giving in to her.  Carly isn't served any better than Joss or Michael constantly being praised by their romantic partners.

Could Elite Athlete Kai be any more perfect? Chemistry (or lack thereof) aside, Trina/Spencer was more interesting precisely because he was a bad boy.

I know Lulu's having a difficult time realizing 4 years have passed, but jeez I wasn't even in a coma and I almost forgot Nina and Valentin were a thing awhile back.  Also, when people tell you, "Hey, you know you weren't here and that's my ex and we really don't talk much at all" maybe walk a few steps back instead of doubling down. I like new Lulu but I won't if this Carly behavior becomes the norm.

LOL that the tiny gingerbread house Sasha was decorating that looked like a child had put together is supposed to be the centerpiece of the Quartermaine holiday party! I know times are tough, but are we really supposed to believe that?? Is it going to be accompanied by Charlie Brown's Christmas tree and the paintings from Heather Webber's BLT series?

This was comically bad. Do they really not have money for a premade gingerbread house from the grocery store in their budget?

The actress playing Young Georgie looks so much like Lindze Letherman. Great casting.

I hate how someone who has

  • been missing/presumed dead - or
  • been in jail - or
  • been comatose for years

shows up moments later, with a complete wardrobe (and accessories!), and probably has the latest cellphone.

It would be very Laura to have all of  Lulu's things in storage. And to have sent her assistant to Target for a prepaid cell. But Lulu really should be physically fragile. I get that she's spunky but sheesh. They could have at least written a few weeks of pt.

I was disappointed today - I so wanted to see the look on her face when she heard about Nina and Sonny. 🙂

Why do they need her offscreen in the first place? Just do the usual wacky time shenanigans where it's day in one part of town and night in the other.

I don't think Mark Teschner (the casting director) has much say when Frank brings in his favorites.

Good point. FOF is the new FOJ. LOL!!!!!

It was fun to see Nina and Lulu sparing because I really did forget about their bad blood. I will say I didn’t realize that Alexa Havins was so tiny. Granted, LW and CW are tall but for some reason I thought Havins was taller. I need to see her side by side with KS for a better reference.

I wonder if they are gonna replace him. I don’t think I’ve seen him since his initial scenes with JJ and RH (less one a few weeks ago) and, I agree he’s just too old. They should have never recast the role in the first place. They might have hired an older actor for a potential (mature) storyline but in general Enzo De Angelis was great in the role.

The recent Aiden recast would have made for a decent slightly SORASed Cam. I don't think Will Lipton is ever coming back full time or even recurring even if he is willing to make an appearance once in a while. The show needs a character more substantial in the early 20-somethng age group because neither Dex nor Gio are it. That said, I know the show wouldn't write anything interesting for Cam even if he was on screen (I'm surprised he even got a mention in that LnL2 conversation) so I'm fine with Cam being happy off-screen in California and having dinner with the Scorpio-Drakes once n a while.

Seriously! There are still so many reunions they haven’t gotten to. You even have Maxie on screen commenting on how strange it is she hasn’t seen Lulu yet. And they’ve given no excuse as to why Tracy hasn’t shown up at Laura’s place to see Lulu. Pump the breaks on Lulu’s WSB adventure to find her daughter.

Her grief was still fresh when she made that decision.  I don’t have an opinion on Trina’s behavior with Kai since I haven’t caught up with that particular storyline. I just take issue with characterizing her grief as insignificant and as a stupid reason for her to have done what she did.

i'm very behind. but i am going to simply say - it is one of my main pet peeves to be in a group project and someone passes it off or doesn't do their share or anything like that.  it's her grade it could impact other things and it's just frustrating to just not have your partners take it as seriously as you do.

and I'm also with you - that Trina did have the right not to study in a semester in Paris. not every chef studies at the Cordon Bleu and not every Art lover needs to study at the Sorbonne. it doesn't diminish their love in the industry. Trina suffered great heartache there and even though the big brunt of the grief is over if she still didn't want to go - it doesn't diminish her love in the field

There's the old joke, "When I die, I'm going to invite the people from my group project to be pallbearers, so they can let me down one last time."

I think LW and ChM have good chemistry, but they really need to have Brennan take a much harder line with Carly. He's the chief of station for the WBS in Port Charles. Show some backbone and don't cave to every request she makes! I hate that every man paired with Carly has to be subordinate to her. Carly is supposed to be such a strong character, so give her a partner who won't be pushed around.

I agree that she did have the right not to study in Paris and has the right to still not want to go. But now she's pinning all her hopes of "getting my art future/college career" back on track on making this presentation personally with Kai to this professor whom she believes is a VIP in the art world. She's acting like Kai saying he won't be available is totally letting her down and ruining her future. She has the right to decide not to study abroad, but then she doesn't get to blame others when they don't go along with her "fix-it solution" because they don't share her priorities. He gave her an alternative solution for the project, she dismissed it as not good enough for her purposes.

That was my point.

Agree.  And any normal college guy would kick Trina to the curb.  A college football star?  Would have kicked her to the curb 2 minutes after meeting her and her screeching.  Frankly. I'D kick her to the curb.   I don't have the time or interest in anyone's drama.  And a college kid putting up with this?  It's not remotely realistic.

Another dumb thing about Trina's situtation is that she's a declared art history major, right? So her class is going to be upper level, probably populated mostly by other art history majors. So what is QBI doing in a class like that in the first place?

"The McConkey Esplanade." *smirk*

I'm surprised to be saying this so early in AH's tenure, but shut up, Lulu. (Sadly, Brennan did make the call she demanded he make. Sigh.)

Martin being appalled at Jason kidnapping him and realizing that Jason and Anna are working together was the best part of the episode. It is beyond gross that Anna approves of Jason getting "the truth about Valentin" and his whereabouts out of Martin "by any means necessary." Bitch, you're the one who let Valentin "kidnap" Charlotte!!! I hope Laura hears about this and slaps both Anna and Jason hard enough to leave a mark. And/or she has Anna arrested.

I was rather underwhelmed by Lulu's reaction to the news Aunt Bobbie died, and then her reunion hug with Maxie. Maxie rightly looked hurt. I was expecting real tears (not just eyes shining) over Bobbie, and then a beaming smile when Maxie hugged her.  Maxie getting all giddy when Lulu said her stomach reacted to seeing Dante again - geez girl, Sam was supposed to be your friend. I thought AH did a good job of looking like Lulu felt both comfortable and uncomfortable while reuniting with Maxie.

Good to see Tracy in the previews for tomorrow! Hopefully Lulu comes to the Quartermaine party to see her?

The writers are having trouble writing for their women characters and it shows.

Trina is now annoying, Portia and Kristina are unbearable, not to mention Joss and Carly.

Lulu is the most recent being sacrificed at the shrew alter. If girl broke my phone over her histrionics, I would’ve had a fit and coma or not, there would’ve been consequences. Brennan looked weak there (and I love Brennan).

If Anna was still in the WSB, I would expect her to use all the means necessary to get the intel she needs, but not as Commissioner as it shows how little she thinks of her job. Asked by Laura, Martin would’ve gladly given her all the info he had on Valentin’s whereabouts. He didn’t deserve this.

Nina doing him harm over his betrayal I would understand, but not this.

It’s as if we can’t have more than two good shows in a row.

Glad to finally get a Maxie reunion, which was a little more subdued than I'd expected.  But I realize that the reunion was really for Maxie.  For Lulu, they last saw each other a few days ago.  Glad for a Tracy sighting for tomorrow, and hope that means we'll get another reunion.

I truly hope Finola gets paid extra money every time she is made to recite such ridiculous dialogue in such ridiculous circumstances.  At least Steve gets to just stand there and glower.  Somebody on the writing staff must really hate Anna.

Brennan is realizing only now that tracking Charlotte is the way to find her and Valentin? Okay, international man of mystery and your crack spy skills.

Could they not find a real French person to play Brennan's assistant, Colette? The actor's accent is so distractingly terrible.

Joss, since when are cops not in danger of getting hurt? They carry guns, just like the criminals do. So how does she realize this won't be the last time Dex gets hurt in the line of duty?

Aaaaand Drew continues his weasel ways by asking Nina to tell Curtis he won't be CEO of Aurora by emotionally blackmailing her about Willow and Michael's marriage. Drew can't leave for Washington soon enough.

Shut up, Anna! Shut up times infinity.

I seem to recall Anna telling Valentin to grab Charlotte and leave. So miss me with this whole we must find Charlotte and find her now. We're not resorting to kidnapping lawyers and enlisting the help of hitmen and hackers? You're the police commissioner!

Drew is slimy and sleazy. He hasn't even crossed the halls of Congress and he is behaving like a real politician. You are really gross, Drew.

Brennan needs to grow a pair to deal with Carly and apparently her entourage now. Carly and Lulu don't come off as strong women, they look batshit.
