His name is Krypto (the Superdog); seeing as how it's comics, he's had several different origins, but the main one is that he's a dog from Krypton and, like Superman, has powers on Earth with its yellow sun. For a "teaser", they kind of showed a lot? "Show all the characters in this" seemed to be a major mandate here. But yes, nice to see Superman in daylight! Not a fan of Gunn, so I'm only cautiously optimistic. I'm wondering if they put a piece on Corenswet's head for the Clark Kent look, or did they tease his actual hair? In any case, they sold the alterego aspect.
