Yeah, he said something about "Lena". I don't think that name, or another female relative of Sir has been mentioned before? Curious. Still not sure what to think about Sir's brother. (I'm sure that's by design, though.) Waiting for the inevitable childhood flashbacks for those two. It was farfetched that Margaret could connect the boy to that particular missing person case, but I'm glad it turned out okay. I'll have to rewatch to see how the boy was first found, because it's also farfetched that the kidnapper didn't find the 4-year-old first. I know it probably won't happen, but I hope Sir gets caught sooner rather than later. It's already getting tiresome that he's kinda still involved in things but no one can get him. At least they need some type of change at midseason.

I don't watch this show (or basketball, apparently!) but I caught this episode; and I thought 'Jimmy Butler' was some type of mash-up and/or pun, and thought nothing more of it. But now you're telling me this look was real?! 😂

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

I don't think she looks 'deranged', although, they should have shot a take when it was less windy. The swimming part is still a head-scratcher, though: -
Fashion Don'ts: Worst Movie Outfits

... Does she have anything online? I'm down for a fashion rant! -
Okay, they're slowly getting better at incorporating the classroom concepts/experiments into the cases. (Also, do I get to pat myself on the back for correctly guessing which couple was real?) Pretty interesting case; and I liked that they couldn't do most of the typical 'cop stuff' because everyone had to stay in one place. And I'll give them props for making Rizwan useful. I still don't care about Phoebe and her unconnected subplot; but it was a good idea to add Kylie to it, or else I would have skipped the whole thing. Minus points for: 1) The security team not knowing about the secret passages -- dumb on several levels. 2) The whole thing where Rizwan went undercover to flush out the shooter -- Have TV writers never worked on a team before?? Even if the other waiters *somehow* didn't notice a random new guy showing up in the middle of the event, the managers/leaders/coordinators would. Especially if this event was supposedly as high profile, high security as they said.

Decent episode. Still hate their one corpse a week quota. Ha! I knew that no one was going to get that huge reward. And when the guy rescinded it, knew he was involved. Seems dumb to target a star player, though. This show could really be more fun if it wanted to. It's like they wanna be the next Equalizer, which has its own issues, but at least there's better team interaction and fashion to distract me. They definitely tweaked Billie a lot. And decided to ignore that there was bad blood between her and Colter. I can tolerate her once a season. ONCE.

I'm not going to link any more articles, but I'm surprised at how much coverage that Chalamet lookalike story is getting; clearly, people were craving some lighter news in contrast to everything else happening in the world.

I figured as much, since this was the 'halloween' episode. Doesn't seem like I missed anything.

Small Talk: Take It Outside! Carryover Conversations
Trini replied to Drogo's topic in Everything Else TV
I mean, yea. People stop being fans of someone for thousands of reasons, the fact that they hold some very hurtful and dangerous beliefs is one of the easiest reasons for that to understand imo. Also, it's not like he was a personal friend of mine, so.... -

I'm So Disappointed In You: Celebrity Missteps

I also used to count myself as a big fan of Levi; the turn he has taken recently (but it's been gradually leading to this) has been disappointing. :( I guess I'm one who can separate art and the artist (depending...), so I'd still recommend Chuck; but that was before all his messiness. -

Okay, because I was coming here to ask if MPG spoke Dutch! I was going to be really annoyed at Lacey's amnesia, so I'm glad she she actually does remember Gabi's confession by the end. Speaking of Lacey; I'm here for her and Zeke being a thing. Yeah, totally rolled my eyes at this. I mean, she confessed; shouldn't there at least be some type of investigation into that? Also at Sir *somehow* having the funds for passports, rentals, and plane tickets; and his disappearing powers (but that one's kinda a TV thing). LOL'd at 'Girl, you ain't a cop!' -- applies to everyone on the team, though. They do so much "cop stuff" but aren't cops. As to the case, it had a couple good twists; didn't guess the wife was the kidnapper. Glad there was a happy ending. I'm actually enjoying the fallout from last season; to me, it's better than mostly glossing over everything after a couple episodes like most shows would do.

2x06 synopsis: I feel it's worded a little weirdly? Also the typo: it should be Jamie not Jaime.

Okay, I can give credit where credit is due: I thought this was one of the show's better episodes. It would be great if most were like this. The research assistants and experiments were minimal (I thought showing the experiment as a flashback instead of Alec dropping everything in the middle of a case worked well); the behavioral concepts were much better integrated in the dialog; Rose was here! And she and Alec got to work together on a case; and while it didn't last long, it was an interesting wrinkle that they had to somewhat work against each other. I liked that Rose and Alec had a bit of relationship progression. And it warmed my Galavant-loving heart to hear Karen David sing! It was also great that Kylie had her own subplot relevant to her character growth. On the down side, I did guess the killer was early on; procedurals gonna procedure....

Wow -- that was a lot of silly, but the characters were taking it so seriously (but also blowing off the serious stuff). And then another unnecessary murder. This one goes straight to the 'Never re-watch' pile.

I can't find the video online; but CBS has started playing promos for the show.

Well, I thought that was a good start to the season -- except for them attempting an unnecessary love triangle, as already noted. The other storylines they set up for the season seem like they could be interesting. This new gun trafficking villain might be how they connect Dante back to New York. Obviously kids/preteens shouldn't be driving cars, but I did kind of cheer when the boy rescued Robyn. If (when) Mel re-joins the team, it better not be because of guilt over Robyn. The only fashion highlight for me was Robyn's palm tree(?) 'camo' tracksuit. Her ponytail was awesome, too; but her ponytails are always awesome!
